321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to securely store your Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 09:26:23 PM
Appreciate your efforts to share knowledge as newbies will find it useful, I have read your complete blog and it's crisp and clear. I would request you to add some more point about the importance of private keys and passphrase as if you are using wallets like blockchain and forgot your password it's impossible to retrieve password without the phrases.
322  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Airbnb next to accept Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2020, 07:57:13 PM
PayPal does not allow you to use Bitcoin as a currency, they just allow you to invest in it on their platform. Maybe in the future they will try to allow payments with it, but it's still too early to speculate about that. So, Airbnb or any other company can't rely on PayPal here.

The idea that businesses will adopt Bitcoin to boost themselves is very old, and it had never proven true so far - companies like Steam or Microsoft didn't witness any increase in sales when they allowed Bitcoin payments. Maybe it will change in future, but it won't happen soon.

Thanks for the correction but I don't think all the businesses will be adopting Bitcoin to boost their sales it's rather to ensure they have all the option available for wide range of customers, we may consider normal wallet payment options as an example wherein once one business or stores start accepting a particular payment method others will follow the same in order to stay upto date and to amle sure they don't lag behind. Even if a business adopts Bitcoin as payment method they might not expect immediate boost in sales but gradually they might notice the inflow through Bitcoin and there are platforms like Airbnb which will be greatly benefited by this move considering their nature of business if the speculations are true
323  Economy / Service Discussion / Airbnb next to accept Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2020, 06:39:09 PM
As per various news sources there are speculations that Airbnb will be next in the line to accept Bitcoin (crypto currency) as payment method after PayPal integrated it.

I feel Airbnb will accept Bitcoin to boost their own business as well since travel industry is the most hard hit during pandemic and I am sure more will follow especially businesses like eCommerce and digital based.

What's your opinion ?
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin now? Take profit or greed? on: November 20, 2020, 04:59:59 PM
This should only bother the short term investors as Bitcoin may crash when the least expect it and moreover long term investors wouldn't be bothered about market crash, as far as I am concerned if I had to choose between profit cashout or continue for more greed I would set reminder to sell off if the value drops for more than $500 from current price as a safety measure to avoid losing much and at the same time if it increases that's lmore profit for me.
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 19, 2020, 07:40:37 PM
Yes, for those who believed in Bitcoin and Hodling Bitcoin when majority of users where busy in panic selling. I am sure pumps and dumps doesn't matter for long term investors until his/her stipulated duration, I feel we might go through a small scale correction since most of the money pooling in for bitcoin in last two months are normal users like us not any whales or organization so this time we might not see massive dump like we did see in 2018. Kudos to real believers of Bitcoin for hanging on to it.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 19, 2020, 06:12:03 PM
the bullrun period is running, you don't need to worry, even though there is a correction,
I guarantee the Bitcoin price will be above $ 19,000 in the next few days,
currently it's still waiting for Fomo and if Fomo comes then the pump will happen again, just hold Bitcoin.

Whatever investment Bitcoin has received since it crossed $15,000 is due to Fomo and even those investment which Bitcoin will achieve until correction period will all be Fomo. But I would advise you not to guarantee anything since it's crypto at the end of the day and the only thing which can be guaranteed is the fluctuations and volatility. I understand that some might disagree with my choice of words but it's my personal opinion based on last couple of year's trend.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 19, 2020, 03:13:48 PM
I would we can refer the term to whales and institutions as manipulators instead of people moving the price as its not just the Bitcoin value they are manipulating but rather the emotions of thousands of new users who recently joins crypto space as well as those who have already invested into Bitcoin, it's really disheartening to see most trusted crypto is manipulated just like that, this needs to be stopped but unfortunately we cannot do much since noone has control over it nor can we have any restrictions.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: November 18, 2020, 09:13:06 PM
But wouldn't there be KYC with almost all the major exchange? I don't think it's that easy now to indulge into money laundering through Bitcoin. Yes, Bitcoin has been used by criminals as a mode of payment as we have seen in case of kidnapping or hacking and at the same time these money laundering is not limited to bitcoin as user will find some other way to get the job done but these money laundering and ther illegal extortion has brough a bad name to crypto.
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 18, 2020, 08:27:41 PM
Things like panic due to market collapse and because buying at high prices will definitely happen any time and indeed, this is a bullish period but whether it will continue to be consistent because of a correction is a concern because correction can happen anytime and will happen quickly. If this is the projected time for the attainment of the new ATH, then at least we can still be confident, because if history repeats itself at least there will still be plenty of time before that correction occurs. Careful preparation is very necessary so as not to repeat the same mistakes, because this is the best moment that has been hoped for for a long time.

100% agreed with your statement as correction can happen anytime and that's when emotions will be high and users will do panic selling causing more damage to the fragile market, but right now we are still on the way to ATH wherein I feel we can relax for atleast one or two more months until Bitcoin breaks its previous ATH as we can use previous ATH mark as a precaution to avoid investing into BTC until correction occurs.
330  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 17, 2020, 09:51:22 PM
Bitcoin has been so bullish from last couple of week and this is exactly how 2017 bullrun started and as we discuss this Bitcoin has already crossed $17k, so are we ready for bullrun and a possible correction period post Bullrun?

Last time we were not ready for correction period as a result many sold bitcoin lesser price our of panic which creates more negative impact, will it be different and mature response from users this time if similar thing repeats? Kindly share your opinions.
331  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $318K by December 2021 on: November 17, 2020, 08:52:25 PM
No, I don't think this article contains even 10% fact a sits highly impossible for bitcoin to reach this over estimated figure of $318k as we can expect anywhere between $30k to $40k if there is no bear market next year, not sure on what basis they speculate such irrelevant figures. If there is a bull run there would be a correction period as well hence we can term this prediction as void.
332  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2020, 08:05:05 PM
Most of these criticisms are started by regulators through different channels and supported and spread by those who have no idea about crypto or those who are not ready to accept anything new. I believe Bitcoin has proved them wrong in the last decade as survival of Bitcoin itself proves these criticisms as baseless except Criticism #4: Bitcoin is used for illicit activity.
which is partially true wherein some criminals have found safe haven in crypto but again these crimes are taking place before the invention of Bitcoin as well and will continue even without Bitcoin as well.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 17, 2020, 06:21:54 PM
It requires a lot of patience and control over emotions if one wants to sustain into crypto market especially Bitcoin wherein everyone predicts Bitcoin to cross $100k even when there is a pump of $500 and they are they same people who term Bitcoin as bubble even for slightest downfall, we need to look at the history of Bitcoin in order to understand it's fall and rise instead of predicting just by going through current trend.

335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 13, 2020, 07:41:58 PM
Is the leveling (and steadying) of Bitcoin a sure sign that an alt season is about to come?

Does anyone think there's anything to worry about with regards to growth being too fast and another potential "bubble" situation?

The rapid growth all made bitcoin the second bubble easily. But with this halving and the heavy inflation prediction will also affect the price of bitcoin a lot.
I'm not sure but 80% is the possibility that Bitcoin will surpass ATH and make a new high in the next 2 years. There isn't anything that can stop Bitcoin, it will soon become a familiar currency that any bank must have in the future Smiley
It's inevitable, we have been experienced ATH about almost 3 years now. The market very looks like exactly same as before, some coins are turn into green already. ETH trading over $470, definitely roads on the alt season particularly the individuals who are in the long.

Yes the market favours ATH for bitcoin this time but I cannot convince myself about altcoins apart from Ethereum because we have not seen any remarkable pump in the value of other altcoins apart from the gradual increase in the value which has been accumulated in last one year.

If you compare all time low of altcoins with current price it has already gained massively but at the same time if you compare it with all time high then you will realise that the difference is even higher. I would says we cannot consider altcoin bull run until top altcoins gains atleast 25% of its current value.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 06:07:39 PM
I am not a supporter of US administration or any other government but I feel they are doing this to avoid dirty money and money laundering which could be a possible threat to any region as nowadays some notorious criminals and gangs are demanding ransom in Bitcoin due to its anonymousity and  that's what is making government to think about regulating the crypto domain which is not possible task.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will YFI go down again? on: November 12, 2020, 07:00:11 PM
First understand the concept of Yearnfinance and it's too risky if you wanna invest or HODL then please go for some other coins not YFI as the value might fall anytime and to be honest all the crypto investments are subject to highrisk but atleast there are stability and history of fightback with coins like Bitcoin, ETH, and other top altcoins but YFI does not fall in this league.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: November 12, 2020, 11:35:49 AM
Insane, this post is just insane and doesn't make sense and it's illogical. There is no gender segregation when it comes to technology and it's free for all, I am sure there are still many females in this forum but it's just that cryto is anonymous and noone will reveal their identity like age, gender or location so stop being a crybaby and look for reason what's stopping women's from joining crypto and create awareness if you feel so.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: November 12, 2020, 08:56:12 AM
This is a bump post to clarify that I am not blindly supporting bounty hunters and targeting bounty managers I have been a bounty manager myself and posted about their pain as well and the reason for my last article about bounty hunters are just to make everyone realise that they deserve respect for their hardwork and shouldn't be judged.

I have been sharing my opinion based on the facts and bias.

340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Turkey as a sponsor in a football match on: November 11, 2020, 10:54:48 PM
This is really good to see as Bitcoin and crypto related ads have reached mainstream media and I am sure this is just the beginning and a breakthrough which was required for bitcoin, gradually we might see similar adverts in other countries as well. This is what we had been waiting for ages but again regulators may try their best to keep Bitcoin into check.
