301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fraud of the Century? on: November 26, 2020, 06:42:33 PM
I don't think it will affect Bitcoin in any way but I would like to say that in all this chaos of making more money we have used Bitcoin as just a money minting opportunity without bothering about why it was created. This is what happens when the greed for money overtakes the idea of technology for the future, some naive users are still falling for traps and scams. Regardless, it's Craig or Satoshi it will not have any impact on Bitcoin since Bitcoin is not controlled by an individual or any organization.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government accept it? on: November 26, 2020, 05:57:34 PM
No, it's not possible as the government will never abolish the bank system, moreover they consider bitcoin's growth as a threat to banks that's why you will see so many restrictions laid out on bitcoin from many countries and we cannot compare bitcoin with traditional barter method as far as barter system is concerned it should be backed by any physical entity. Bitcon can be an alternative to banks but cannot replace banks.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: November 25, 2020, 09:59:52 PM
I am aligned with you but that's not the problem, it's rather the way bounty hunters are treated in bounty campaigns and also the probability of hitting the right target which has drastically reduced if compare it with 2017, back the we had very few scam projects and success rate of hitting right target was more but now it's really difficult to find a genuine project, even if genuine project it's understandable but when the project we worked turned out to be scam then cannot do much rather than regretting.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin's crucial year teaches us? on: November 25, 2020, 08:16:57 PM
Lowest in 2018
$3164 - 15th Dec 2018
Highest in 2018
$17635 - 6th January 2018
The lowest for 2018 is correct but the highest on January 2018 was just after the bull run but, that still counts for the comparison.
By next year it's possible that we get to see a higher low by that time but I'm positive that there will be a massive breakout which will make bitcoin reaches another ATH.

Yes, thanks for corrections as that was post Bullrun and the begining of downfall for bitcoin as well as other altcoins except Ethereum which survived for a little longer, if we look at current Bitcoin price it we might see new ATH within the end of this month as the previous ATH is hardly $1000 away, let's hope those who missed out last time don't repeat the same mistake and also don't make same mistake of investing at peak🙂
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin's crucial year teaches us? on: November 25, 2020, 06:51:29 PM
I like that you ended it with some other crypto have better future than bitcoin. My thought to this is the patient ones enjoy more during this period. You buy when it goes very low and patiently wait till this moment when it gets really high to sell..
Funny enough, greed would still make a lot of people loose the chance to sell this time around because they would have set a very high benchmark which bitcoin would not get to and when it starts to fall, they won't be able to sell anymore.

Yes, patience is key when it comes to Bitcoin or crypto in general, indeed long term investors get what they deserve and everyone should understand and come out of the perception that they can get rich in a day or few trades by buying at low and selling at high because most of the time the market will be bearish throughout the year and during this phase, most of the people would give up and sell it off only to regret later. Only experience and knowledge will help people to come out of their perception that they can become rich overnight.

306  Economy / Speculation / Re: INFLUENCE OF BITCON ON ETHEREUM's PRICE on: November 24, 2020, 09:55:26 PM
I would say that the price of bitcoin has limited influence on Ethereum because during last bull run Ethereum reached its ATH when the value of Bitcoin already started crumbling and Ethereum bear market longer than Bitcoin last time. Bitcoin indeed has influence over other altcoins as we fan witness growth of top altcoins in last few days due to spike in value of bitcoin.

307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: November 24, 2020, 07:47:13 PM
Yes I think Ripple will cross $1 within 48 hours as per the trend as its doing really well, I am not a fan of Ripple but those who wants some quick profit can fill their portfolio with Ripple and stay alert as the supply is not limited so they may increase supply which might lead to downfall again like it happened last time.

Either people can go for Ripple or Stellar as both are performing well at the moment.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where will it be by the end of this run? on: November 24, 2020, 07:00:59 PM
It's bit difficult to predict where will Bitcoin end up post this bull run but it will not drop down like it did in 2018, I feel Bitcoin might trend anywhere between $15k to $20k at its best and $8k to $10k during its worst post correction period.

We should not compare Bitcoin with fiat as they are completely different and soon you may find regulators doing the same wherein they were hell bent to create as many hurdle as they can to stop the growth of Bitcoin and they will try to show soft stance towards Bitcoin as its clear that they failed to stop Bitcoin.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next big thing in Bitcoin/Crypto? on: November 23, 2020, 08:51:06 PM
Next big thing would be acceptence of Bitcoin and other crypto coins on a real-time basis which is bit difficult due to volatility, developers should focus on how to make cryptos usable like any other online payment method or the purpose it's developed instead of just leaving it as a investment medium because the core objective of crypto coin is to make our lives easier and upgrade ourself with next level of technologies which is need of the hour.

I feel Bitcoin and other altcoins needs to focus on adaptability by having tie up with tech startups and gradually move on to wider range of audiences.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: who believes that the price of BTC high next month? on: November 23, 2020, 06:48:32 PM
If we look at the speed with which Bitcoin is surging I don't think $25k will be a big deal because most of us initially predicted Bitcoin to achieve $20k at the begining of 2021 or last week of December and we are already moving towards $19k in December itself, I am sure we will cross $25k by the end of this year.

I am not making any prediction as its my prediction with my own research which might prove to be incorrect as well since Bitcoin is volatile.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price From 0$ on: November 23, 2020, 05:52:51 PM
I think we are in a for a big surge in price. There have been 4 years without any crazy movement and I'm sure, heck, all the big funds you see out there think that Bitcoin is not going to stop here. $50k is an easy target if you ask me, but I believe the adoption needs to raise a bit more (probably a couple of years will be enough) before breaking into the 100ks, but everything is possible.

If we look at Bitcoin's history there has been huge pump and then dump once in every 3 to 4 years and the last such thing happened in 2017 so now considering current market situation and the rate at which Bitcoin has surged in last two months it's pretty clear that we are already in bullrun but it's bit difficult to predict the new ATH as it might wbe much more higher than our expectations, we should not miss this opportunity if ee have bitcoins in our wallet we need to HODL it for some more time and if we don't have one then it would be a huge risk to invest at this time even though we know Bitcoin will reach new ATH but again until whales are active unpredictable can happen as well. Hence we need to be prepared for both.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What does Bitcoin's crucial year teaches us? on: November 23, 2020, 04:42:29 PM
This is for those who say that Bitcoin is a bubble, it feels proud to be a believer of Bitcoin I wish you would have added those bearish years wherein the value of Bitcoin dropped beyond imagination wherein most of the user thought it was the end of bitcoin before it pumped back.

I have listed the Bitcoin lowest point followed by pumps as it will help others to understand how Bitcoin has survived and bounced back.

Lowest in 2015
$216 - 5th Feb 2015
Highest in 2015
$464 - 19th December 2015

Lowest in 2018
$3164 - 15th Dec 2018
Highest in 2018
$17635 - 6th January 2018

Lowest in 2020
$5032 - 17th March 2020
Highest in 2020 (till 23/11/2020)
$18891 - 21st November 2020

I hope this will give you all a clear picture that every three years we there will be huge market fluctuations and make most of it. Bitcoin is not a bubble but the most trustable crypto that's why no other crypto can overtake it even though some have better features than Bitcoin.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for altcoin season on: November 22, 2020, 06:08:25 PM
Yes, especially looking at the altcoin market for last 2 days I feel altcoin bullrun will begin very soon and it's better to hold on to top altcoins which we think might give us a good return on investment, I feel that the top altcoins in my list would be as follows:

Ethereum (ETH)
Stellar (XLM)
Ripple (XRP)
TRON (TRX)
Cardona (ADA)

As Bitcoin goes more bullish and altcoins have already started to gain momentum, bullrun is inevitable so it's a second opportunity for those who misse dout previous bullrun or those who lost money by investing at peak.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 22, 2020, 04:47:46 PM
Bitcoin centainly loses it's primitive purposes after many years of existence. People are using bitcoin to enhance their capability of earning money in a short time. And as you say, they also consider, bitcoin as an investment tool. People manipulate bitcoin for their own purposes without realizing they destroy bitcoin slowly from the inside.

But we can't blame people. If they all dislike bitcoin,  we can never see bitcoin as famous as it is.  If bitcoin does not become a p2p currency,  it will be fine with me that bitcoin becomes the digital gold

You nailed it, there will be no Bitcoin if people dislike it. But what concerns me here is the fact that the institution and whales pouring in money into Bitcoin and holds a good amount of Bitcoin which they might use anytime for their profit by pumping or dumping it by cashing in or out and those normal users like us will initially earn more profit when they pour in more money but our greed will make us lose it when they dump, there are exceptions wherein well versed user will control his greed but newbies and less tenured users will end up losing more than they earned. There is a postive as well as negative effects but sometimes it feels bad that the primary objective of creating Bitcoin has been abolished.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 22, 2020, 03:49:28 PM
When you talk about Bitcoin first thing which most of us thinks either it's a get rich quick scheme or an investment scheme. Did Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin as an investment scheme? No, it was supposed to be a peer to peer payment transaction across borders without involvement expensive money exchangers or regulators but it has been turned into an investment scheme, where are we heading ? Do you think Bitcoin is losing its original purpose of its invention?
316  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin is growing thanks to institutions. on: November 22, 2020, 01:48:30 PM
Institutional money is flowing, and we can see the effect on the price of the BTC, many wonders will still surface in the next few weeks as I am seeing BTC not to put a rest at the 20k resistance.

Yes institutional money is flowing into Bitcoin which is pushing it's price further before the speculated time and it's for sure that Bitcoin will cross previous ATH and set a new record but I would personally suggest users to refrain from making huge investments when the price is at peak as it might drop anytime once institutions and huge investors decides to cashout and I am happy to see market has learnt from the past and I see some sensible articles posted about do's and don'ts during bull run.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 21, 2020, 10:14:48 PM
the bullrun period is running, you don't need to worry, even though there is a correction,
I guarantee the Bitcoin price will be above $ 19,000 in the next few days,
currently it's still waiting for Fomo and if Fomo comes then the pump will happen again, just hold Bitcoin.

Whatever investment Bitcoin has received since it crossed $15,000 is due to Fomo and even those investment which Bitcoin will achieve until correction period will all be Fomo. But I would advise you not to guarantee anything since it's crypto at the end of the day and the only thing which can be guaranteed is the fluctuations and volatility. I understand that some might disagree with my choice of words but it's my personal opinion based on last couple of year's trend.

We do all have our own opinions and it might be right or might be wrong it doesnt matter since this is a speculative market.Correction is inevitable and we cant really say that his is just because we
had some FoMo here but we cant really blame out people not to think that those things that happened in the past will happen again for this year. For now we should really
be careful towards our investment decisions neither we do set up some goals on when to sell or we do decide to go for long term.
Not all would have the same mindset but talking about market corrections then it can happen anytime.

Yes true, as people differ in opinion and plans but we need to learn from the past and be extra cautious especially during these situations wherein anything might happen anytime and now things will become even more complicated since the altcoins have started to pump wherein it was the only bitcoin all these while. Now I feel we are entering the phase which we entered at the end of 2017 this might go on for 2 more months at least from my point of view. I would advise people to think multiple times before making any investment as it would be too risky.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Catalyst for starting next Bitcoin Bear market? on: November 21, 2020, 07:57:35 PM
Next bear market will occur due to greed and sudden cashout from a couple of huge investors who hold a fair share of Bitcoin, the only difference would be that people might not be investing in Bitcoin once it crosses the ATH in fear of one more dump as the market is mature enough to avoid repeating 2017/2018 once again. I don't think any of the reasons you have listed will affect the bitcoin or the crypto market. But yeah once the investors (whales) cashout this time the panic selling will play a significant role to pull down bitcoin further.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used instead of paper money on: November 21, 2020, 06:32:24 PM
I am a wellwisher of Bitcoin but I don't think Bitcoin will ever replace fiat (paper) currency mainly due to it's volatility because the fluctuations will create chaos if people start using bitcoin instead of fiat, Stable coins like Tether (USDT) can be used instead of fiat as it holds the same value as USD. Bitcoin can be adopted by online-based business or payment gateways but cannot replace fiat. Let's be honest and reasonable as bitcoin can be an alternative but not a replacement for fiat
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 21, 2020, 05:41:50 PM
Bitcoin might or might not make someone the richest person in the world but it have the potential to change the life of someone from below poverty line to an average household pay, When I say bitcoin will improve the standard of living for some people I mean it through the opportunity Bitcoin has created through various channels including the signature campaigns here. At some or the other point, the richest will use and adopt bitcoin and it's not bitcoin which needs richest or make someone richest rather it's the richest who needs bitcoin and it's other people who need bitcoin to improve their standard of living, control over their money rather than regulators having access to their asset.

Again Bitcoin is not a ponzi get rich quick scheme it was designed to make our life and transactions easier but it's used as an investment medium.
