1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A million altcoins on: October 20, 2019, 09:31:04 AM
For the unprofitable altcoin, yes, they will not survive in the bear market. That altcoin will disappear as soon as the market reset so that the useless coins will delist from all exchanges. But many other altcoins can survive because the project still running and still update to reach every phase they have. If you check on the marketcap, we have a 2415 coin list currently, but only 2054 is still struggling in the bear market. Perhaps, in the next bull market will give them a chance for them to rise again, so we know which coin will have a better position.

We will see more altcoins going out of league as they scummed to the bearish market and it's sad to see some of the altcoins which has a really good potential with a great team is also struggling with the bearish market even though they have a real good product for betterment of our future, I think we will be able to know the truth in bull run as we cannot judge any altcoins during bearish market alone.
1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will this fluctuation end ? on: October 20, 2019, 09:12:54 AM
Bitcoin's price has been slightly fluctuating everyday but it's not a huge fluctuation to buy in or sell of in order to make huge profit as everyone is eagerly waiting to know where this will us to, this is what my question is over here. Are we heading towards a new price pump or a dump ? This slow drift of bitcoin's value is really confusion.

That fluctuations that you have seen is what we call "sideway" pattern. Maybe speculators are doing short trading, that's why the moment they see some positive movement, they dump it and take the profits per day.

No one can tell when we are going to have a break out run. You don't need to be confused here, you just have to educate yourself and see what are the current sentiments are. Just don't give yourself swept by the notice that bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme and you will be OK in the long run.
Having a right mindset in order to catch up with the right market will increase your chances to earn from the situation. Fluctuation is the major part of this industry as many investors here knew about it and willing to work in order to make some good benefits.

Fluctuation is for those who are good in scalping as they can benefit with the system by paying attention to their opportunities.

Yes I think the market will become more saturated and we might see a clear divide here between daily traders who consider fluctuations as an opportunity to earn more profit, long term investors who are least bothered about the minor fluctuations and then we have those people who invested into bitcoin post December 2017 looking for a quick profit and struck in between due to sudden price dump and still trying to recover it. Fluctuations are good for traders but it's a hard learnt lesson for newbies.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: First Bitcoin ATM in Venezuela on: October 20, 2019, 08:50:30 AM
As i know crypto adoption in venezuela is very high. Than you dont have own currency you need to use crypto instead

People don't have much option. When the national currency becomes worthless, you will try to store wealth in any asset that you can get your hands on. The situation is so worse in Venezuela, that they are using a highly volatile asset such as Bitcoin (which has dropped from 12K to 8K in two months) as a store of value. You can't blame them, as the national currency has declined by even more. But from what I have heard, the primary option remains as USD, followed by gold. But the advantage with BTC is that it is in digital format, and therefore it can't be stolen (which is a big issue there).

That's true as the situation in Venezuela is not good due to various factors like the economical crisis due to which it's national currency became worthless and apart from USA and gold the only way which they can secure their national treasure is by converting it into bitcoin or any widely used stable coin and I think they are still working on the concept of their own digital currency named PETRO which they wanted to create in the past. Because they cannot be fully dependent on crypto due to volatile nature.
1144  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2019, 07:39:13 AM
One must be a professional trader for you to be able to identify the bottom so that they can buy at the cheaper price and wait until its value reaches the height of the upword trend before placing a sell order.
Professional? I don't think so. You just need to have the basic qualities of someone who is a trader. You don't need to be a professional about it. You can be a professional artist and be a part-time trader at times and you can still trade as well as professionals without being one of them. Research and predictions are all that is needed when trading and well pretty much luck as well. No matter how extensive research is, sometimes it just doesn't go that way. Luck can be a huge factor to trading after all.

Just a small correction, nowadays it's not sometimes it's most of the times that the prediction does not go the way it's supposed to be. As you have rightly mentioned luck does plays major role now and there are professional traders who are extensively involved in the trading wherein they have a set of algorithms which they follow like they have threshold for selling/buying and the price, profit margin etc. They operate like a small scale BPO with a fixed plan to achieve the profit against a unplanned trade.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs ADA on: October 20, 2019, 07:19:28 AM
It is tiring to see these shitcoins saying they will topple bitcoin, they will topple ETH in the second spot. But until now no one is overtaking ETH in the second spot. Look at ADA now? It is down below top 10. Maybe it is the second coming of NEM. All hype. Grin

You should see the hype about new tokens which will be listed in Binance as they receive similar hype to sell off the tokens and yes at times even I made mistake of investing into Cardano (ADA) which I though would become next Ripple in terms of multi fold return on investment but it could not live upto it's expectations, there is no comparison between ETH and ADA.
1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 20, 2019, 07:11:14 AM
I think 10 years ago was enough time to prove that bitcoin is not a ponzi or bubble scheme. and for the next 10 years I am still sure that bitcoin will continue to exist and will continue to grow. because now bitcoin is heading for mass adoption. in the future the amount of bitcoin that can be mined also the less this will make the price of bitcoin more expensive. bitcoin is our future.

Bitcoin will always exist that's for sure but I feel there are chances that that some other existing altcoin like Ethereum might compete with bitcoin for number one crypto currency as 10 years are good enough for any coin to improvise and dominate the market which is currently dominated by bitcoin, We can expect a huge change in next 10 years.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it help bitcoin if we shift funds to it ? on: October 19, 2019, 09:09:10 PM
The question op is really asking is whether bitcoin will go up if a bunch of us buy it, and whether altcoins are sold to finance this is irrelevant.  I have no clue what bitcoin would do in such a case, but more buying usually means a higher price assuming there are more buy orders than sell orders.

This is yet another gloomy thread about the state of bitcoin and alts, but the situation is nowhere as bad as some may lead us to believe.  Everything is just down right now, but things can and will improve.  If people give up on crypto, all the coins are going to tumble.  I don't think any of us want that despite how bleak things may seem.

Yes you got it what I am trying to ask as the situation quite difficult to understands as there are two ways to look at it wherein the first one being everything is low right now and things will improve it's just a matter of time, other way is little scary thought wherein we have not seen any major transition in the value of altcoins from long time and probably it's back to it's original value after unexpected pump during the bull run at the end of 2017, let's hope for the best as 2020 might play a vital role and things will change for better.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will it help bitcoin if we shift funds to it ? on: October 19, 2019, 08:50:07 PM
We are all aware that the bitcoin is the last hope when the other altcoins including Ethereum are struggling to survive and even bitcoin has not had any massive pump as it's fighting hard to stay on $8,000 despite numerous fluctuations but will it help bitcoin if we just move our funds to bitcoin which we have invested into altcoin as it will increase the demand of bitcoin if everyone can do that as this will literally do what the whales have been doing to increase the price when they want by creating the demand.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holders Protection on: October 19, 2019, 08:09:24 PM
actually this is an interesting offer to invest our money with a pretty good commission but I am still hesitant to invest there because this is a new project to run especially they offer quite a lot of commissions, but I prefer investing with bitcoin even though we know bitcoin is not so safe but I'm sure about bitcoin for our future.

Bang on, I am also struck in these cross road to believe it or not, I mean this looks so attractive with a reasonable commission amount but nothing compared to the profits which can be earned through bitcoin within a fraction of time during Bitcoin's heyday. I would prefer to stick by loyalty to bitcoin and other altcoins like ETH and BNB.
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 19, 2019, 08:03:28 PM
For me i prefer long term holding over than day tading because i am a busy person now, i have a lot of works to do that's why i can't focus on day trade and i also belive that holding a promising crypto like bitcoin and ethereum will be very worth it to wait. Because both of this crypto have a bright future.
I think it is in fact matter of skills an individual has. If a person is good at day trading then obviously he should continue with it instead of simply holding coins because that way he will be able to make good money on daily basis. The best is to keep oneself update with hourly fluctuations for the sake of observing behavior of a coin. Bitcoin is best for both day trading and long term holding.

I prefer both I mean when I have free time for months then I focus on day trading or during the those days when we have continuous fluctuations as day trading is best during the time of fluctuations, after a long struggle I have segregated a certain portion of fund for day trading ehich I keep rotating aprt from the reserve which is there for long term HODL.

1152  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: October 19, 2019, 07:40:14 PM
Any body here now how to predict bitcoin price. Or is there a hint how when to buy and when to sell bit coins. Or how to make profits on buying and selling bitcoins.? I want to try buying and selling crypto currency.
First of all, there is no certain or assurance method to predict Bitcoin price since it relies on the law of supply and demand. However, analyzing its chart with the help of indicators and other tools can help you determining its price movement yet you shouldn't be too confident using that since its future price might satisfy or meet your analysis thus you will have to apply the risk management.
From the very beginning, there's no accurate on the prediction of bitcoin price. I agree having technical analysis could help to determine the indicators, it would rather give help. But above all, studying the market is necessary and let's should not rely on others. Also always know the risks in crypto that prices are volatile.

Predictions by the experts are always missed. There is no one to guess the actual bitcoin price, it's true that you mean I would rather analyze myself about the price of bitcoin and see from the graph I never rely on anyone else because it's far from reality better what I do it true if missing is not a problem for me.

First time I have come across such upfront answer about so called baseless predictions as it never hits anywhere near the bulls eye and misses it by miles. But it's time we start our own research with the news which might affect the value of bitcoin and then plan accordingly, we cannot entirely blame the experts for their prediction as the market is unpredictable and they are trying to help us by trying to predict whatever they can on basis of their knowledge which used to work in the past.
1153  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 19, 2019, 07:31:03 PM
Similar to your experience, I was also one of the discoverers of bitcoin in 2017, Priced at only 200 $.

I used bitcoin to earn extra income back then, So this is a waste of time for me, But in 2015 to 2016 I saw it gradually rise and there I started to become obsessed with bitcoin, I invest all the money I earn from working. And I invest it in Trading where my money loses, and loses confidence in altcoins and in bitcoin.

But a friend gave me advice in 2017 that provided a way to make a profit on crypto and own a business that is now on the rise.

Yes even I am one of those who used to work for bitmixer signature campaign at one point of time when it was a long running signature campaign and used it as a side income before realizing the actual worth of bitcoin and regret selling it for few hundred dollars and I would consider this as a learning curve as some of us have utilized the growth of bitcoin wherein some have not.
1154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the World and Community on: October 19, 2019, 07:21:51 PM
What do you obesrve in the world today?
What is the advantage of the world today from the world yesterday?
Inovation is good but sometimes there is a disadvantage.
Do we have world peace? When bitcoin is invented what is the help of bitcoin in the world? I made this thread for the members to comeup with something that can help the world or the communities as a whole. Not for their own interest only. What do you guys think about bitcoin and the environment can we help the environment with bitcoin? Can we help poor people using bitcoin? Can we help poor communities using bitcoin.? I'm searching for much higher cause of cryptocurrency than just medium of trade or source of income. Maybe it can be bigger and greater. Maybe bitcointalk community can help.

Bitcoin is decentralized and it's really difficult for anyone to lead towards any sort of environment cause unless a group of friends who are into bitcoin comes up with something unique to help the community. But nowadays everyone is running behind profit including myself and don't have time to build a team which will give back to our community which is mush thing for long term plan.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 19, 2019, 12:28:24 PM
Well, I am not for the idea that Bitcoin is losing its popularity. Checking the market stats now, it appears that Bitcoin dominance occupies about 70% and this is good for Bitcoin. Aside the market dominance, Bitcoin still remains the number one position on the market. Bitcoin is the future.

Yes this article lacks the content as there is no way that the bitcoin is losing popularity especially when people are diverting funds from other altcoins to bitcoin this article seems immature to me but as this might misled the newbies who don't have much idea about bitcoin.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: October 19, 2019, 11:54:10 AM
The world of cryptoqurrency is very anonymous and this anonymity is not only in forums, communities, transactions, projects, and even the faces of developers & teams. so, there is no really appropriate way to identify them, including identifying through video calls. it is not entirely a guarantee if they are valid. so follow your heart & it's important you make sure that they are the team responsible for some of their previous experiences.

Yes we can guage them by their previous projects and other factors like qualifications and other details like their real life portfolio by doing more research as we cannot just go by what they mention in their ICO page and yes if they want to gain more investment and if they are genuine then they have to come out of the anonymity and reveal themselves.
1157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchange on: October 19, 2019, 09:21:54 AM
Hello everybody I am Martin Gaptil . Hope you are well. But I am face some problem right now with my current Exchanger. It's ]transaction speed is so low.  So,do you know any which has a much faster speed? Please, give me the link....

There are many exchangers that have transaction speeds, so what else do you want to look for in exchangers? if you want the best exchanger, I recommend binance, Bekx. there are many more exchanges with different features and concepts, so stay where you want https://themoneymongers.com/best-cryptocurrency-exchanges/.
Everyone must have their respective opinions about which exchanges are good and also recommended. I myself also have a list of exchanges that I like besides seeing the news that there are people who have analyzed about it.Coinmarketcap itself also has an error in providing information which exchange is indeed good and also recommended

Yes the recent blunder of displaying incorrect pricing earned a lot of bad reputation to Coinmarketcap as even I personally used to refer Coinmarketcap for price details and as far as exchanges are concerned it's individual's preference but most of us prefer binance or binance of one of our preference.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 19, 2019, 09:08:45 AM
yes this is the negative side of cryptocurrency that is commonly used for illegal transactions. the anonymous nature of crypto is very easily used as a tool to commit crime. this is why most countries in the world reject cryptocurrency. but in fiat money also often fraud like this. we cannot avoid this. I think the government should not only see the weakness of bitcoin. bitcoin also has advantages. with bitcoin money transactions will become easier, faster and cheaper. and bitcoin can be used as an investment tool. and bitcoin with its blockchain technology has provided a new breakthrough in technology.

Yes that's the darkside of crypto world as it can be easily used for funding terrorism,  extortion for kidnappings due to its anonymous nature which helps us to avoid government implemented taxes for money transfers. It works both the way so we need to focus on positive side as there were terror funding,  money laundering long before the emergence of bitcoin so those bad guys will find some or the other way to do what they want so we need to stop worrying about it.
1159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 95% fake volume :) on: October 19, 2019, 08:56:33 AM
I don't trust exchanges anymore except binance in terms of volume, they alwayd shows fake volume, one time I trade in one exchange then I am seeing different orders in the history that are not in the list. I think they doing just to gain investors. I only believes in binance list and nothing else follows.
many exchanges use fake volumes to attract investors and traders, I don't know, is actually making fake volumes allowed? because in my opinion this is very detrimental to traders, especially for novice traders who don't know anything yet. but of all exchanges I also agree with you that binance is one of the exchanges that has real volume.

That's why I always prefer binance who don't use the dirty trick of bot trading to show fake volumes like coinbene and I have mentioned this exchange named coinbene numerous times because they use too much of bot trading,  they are responsible for downfall of a well planned project named policy pal as the false volume killed the project.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Crypto? on: October 19, 2019, 08:47:45 AM
Yes, that's against to the purpose of crypto for decentralization although some altcoins are actually open to this idea and be governed by the authoritative agency. I still see this as an idea that's hard to execute but I think some countries or company are looking to this already.
But once this has been established, I don't fully say that they will be secured as the banks today are also being attacked by hackers.

But wouldn't it be against the concept of crypto currency if these crypto bank thing is controlled by authority or government official's involvement? I feel if this happens then they will slowly start dominating the crypto world one by one and not sure where this will lead us. I have seen someone tried opening bitcoin ATM in and he got arrested for the same.
