1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to invest in Bit Coins on: October 26, 2019, 02:31:21 PM
For now, is not appropriate if you want to choose a long-term investment. Because the current market is very bad.
Not just Bitcoin but altcoins also decreased and increased unconducive. For short-term do day trading to take profit.

If you bought at the dip at $7.5k those past few days and have sold at $10k today then, it will be a big profit for you in just few days, and I am one of those who benefited from it. Bought some amount then sold when I wake up this morning, I earned $40, not big amount for others but for me a big help as I just did it in short term only.

$40 is not a small amount for overnight profit and I believe it's good for short term profit. This is not an appropriate time for even short term trading in my point of view as it's too volatile and only the market research or cautiousness cannot help us here as we need little bit stability to jump in. But we an definitely consider these market situation best suitable for risk investment as there are chances of more profit only if you are willing to take risk.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 26, 2019, 02:23:40 PM
very difficult if looking for a new coin of high quality and has a price below 1 USD, maybe I can suggest Cardano or XRP or maybe TRX, but all three coins are old coins, if there are new projects there might be good ones, but investor interest is a bit useless, the price will fall,
better to look for old coins whose price is under 1 usd, because the demand in the market is clear and a lot.

Thank you for the honest opinion and yes ADA Cardano, XRP or TRON will be a better option but these are old coins and new coins are getting dumped even if they have features what it's required to be the top coin due to the market situation I thought of experimenting as it might be very profitable if market favors but I think I need to either go for old coins or else have wait for the market to be in a better condition.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 02:15:41 PM
in my opinion as long as the website is legal I think it's okay to follow the bitcoin faucet. as long as they give a token reward for what the participant has done. and the important site that we follow is not a scam. choose a site that has a good reputation and is well known and always gives rewards to participants. or rather than joining the faucet it is better to join a bounty campaign project whose payment tokens use bitcoin. I think this will be safer and more profitable.

I know faucets pays like peanut for the effort we put into but bounty campaigns were really profitable and used to pay really good rewards in tokens but last years our perceptions change after the scam projects, unpaid dues, tokens provided after it's value is almost zero or no one to buy it. Users are hesitant to join bounty program as well and know they are join IEO based bounties. Honestly in my opinion we need to look beyond faucets and bounties.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 26, 2019, 02:07:29 PM
People who say that don't understand the basic idea of bitcoin. Bitcoin came into existence to give this world an alternate form of payment system which is decentralized and transparent which solves all the problem that is with the fiat currency today. Bitcoin was inflated and manipulated in 2017 when it touched the ATH. But that isn't the problem with the Bitcoin. Since it is decentralized, many exchanges manipulate volume and fraud people. This makes people think that BTC is a scam or a bubble. But if you notice the trends, it always corrects its price and maintain an organic growth.

Now it's high time those fudders should understand that if bitcoin was a bubble it will not last 10 years like bitcoin did and moreover they have accept the fact that bitcoin will always be  fluctuating due to the fact that there are huge investors who can easily manipulate the price and even if we as a bitcoin community decides to stop it we cannot do it. But I agree with the point which you have mentioned about correction as we have seems a long correction period for bitcoin and everything was slow paced until 23rd October 2019 and I think there might be some fluctuations ahead after what has happened in last 3 days.
1065  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Latest "Fall" Was Manipulated on: October 26, 2019, 01:59:03 PM
wherever i look today it seems like there are a lot of people who are surprised about the "rise", which doesn't make any sense to me because there is nothing surprising about this rise in my experience.

the only thing that surprised me was the Fall!
when the market was in bull mode and the price was strongly rising and we had the reasonable correction after the $13k record, things were normal. then the dumping came and price fell, that part was surprising. when price entered the $7k range again 2 days ago it was one of the most surprising things after the $3k drop earlier this year. that drop was "manipulated".

this "rise" that we are seeing today is not at all surprising. it was long overdue and should have happened a lot sooner. we are seeing the market correction and coming back to real prices once again.

Yes both the recent fall and rise were manipulated because there was some huge sell orders in multiple exchanges at the same time for bitcoin which is not usual as it's a clear attempt of deliberately pushing the value down and making it fall and then again reinvesting by placing massive buy order to give a pump so i that they can again sell at high but this time we need to wait rather than buying or selling which might again keep us at the receiving end if we buy or sell at these situations.
1066  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: October 26, 2019, 01:51:23 PM
BULL'S GROUP - always putting money into the market and does not take out often, more like long term investor.

BEAR'S GROUP - always taking money out of the market often, more like only interested in making money in a short while, i mean short term investors.
I think I can consider myself as a part of Bear's group but I am also looking forward on being in the Bull's group soon. I am not yet financially stable that's why I always keep on taking money out of the market to use it with my personal necessities. It may be seen as less beneficial compared to being a long term investor but I don't have a choice since I am also a self suffecient person.

Yes that might be working for you as it's little difficult for most of us to keep a track of the market situation for short term gains as things changes over hours as we have some unpredictable fluctuations in last 72 hours and if you comfortable with short term profits then that's good and I used to do that as well but after 4 months I gave up as it's not a cup of tea for everyone. Wish you all the best.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 25, 2019, 06:26:17 PM
snip...
I am tired of responding to the many statements and questions of others about Bitcoin & I'm tired of trying to make others think as we think about Bitcoin because they only believe in what is in the article that writes about the ugliness of Bitcoin..  just let them think according to what they think because we have nothing to lose...  when Blockchain Technology is truly adopted and Bitcoin continues to lead cryptocurrencies then those who think Bitcoin is a scam will regret it for life.

They will never regret as they don't have logical mindset and regardless of whatever bitcoin achieve these people will be the one to still post saying bitcoin is a bubble or scam or end of bitcoin sort of statements.  We need to just ignore those fudders as the growth of bitcoin itself is a best response to them.  I think we should start reporting their post for spreading false propaganda against bitcoin and crypto currency, even I am tired of seeing those negative threads everything let it be bull market or bearish market.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: some people love imagining doomsday when there is any drops! on: October 25, 2019, 06:17:13 PM
14% up in no time,so the recent drop was pure manipulation and targeted against the people who thinks that way of continuous drop in the near future.I didn't knew or read any news for the price drop and the rise as well in the current week.Lets hope for the best from now and will hang on at the price level of $10,000 until the next halve.

Yeah I understand the intention behind the manipulation but thanks to those whales who did this manipulation as the price pump is like a slap in the face of those fudders trying to pull the value further down with those illogical posts. But now we should not be too exited and just go with the trend instead of cashing out or selling off.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Plunging to $6K before Big Recovery on: October 25, 2019, 06:04:49 PM
Bitcoin suddenly rebound to $8400 as I'm writing, seems really bullish but full of manipulation, whoever doing this probably the same entities who dump bitcoin recently.
The question is; will bitcoin breakout $8600 resistance level? or it just a short-term increase and bitcoin will tumble again to $7400? For average traders without connection to whales, who know? Nevertheless, It's a good time to take a bit of profits since I've accumulated bitcoin when it was at the bottom

Damn true those who are behind the increase in the price are the same who have manipulated this price in last three days to reinvest into bitcoin at a lower price but the new tactics was not to push bitcoin to very less but rather 10 to 20% dump as they don't want to make people suspicious and I just hope it's not one more trap. I think we should let the market calm down by itself and should not be making any hasty decision.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 25, 2019, 05:55:56 PM
Right now the market situation is not so much to make any predictions but can do some experiment at our own risk by investing into altcoin.

But if we have to try something different by investing into a new altcoin which has caliber to perform well rather than investing on a reputed altcoins like Ethereum.  Kindly suggest which would be the best altcoin to invest which is under $1.
1071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can I buy digital currency better when I only have $10,000 on: October 25, 2019, 05:43:37 PM
Is it true that a friend recommended me to buy digital currency for transaction on SunCoin platform and only need to pay a deposit to operate? Because this is my first contact

Don't go for these unheard small platforms and rather go for binance and if coinbene is available in your country to buy bitcoin then use it to buy or else use binance for trading. Before you invest on any digital currency kindly seek opinion from experts in this forum and then do your research as you should not be buying coins when it's at peak rather buy at low.
1072  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: October 25, 2019, 05:33:41 PM

And why the euro value is higher then usd but USA dollar is still dominant, do you think that usd will be replaced by euro?

What's Ur take on that?

I don't see that being realized because dollar has already dominated in world wide trading activities. Even the countries that make up the euro currency, are trying to breakout and that might make the euro to drop if it happens. For instance, England with the brexit agenda is fighting seriously to go off from the euro currency.
No doubt dollar has been ruling the market for long and as it is the currency of present super power, we all can expect this. Euro being back-lashed by few countries will affect it badly. But dollar will not stay ruler forever. As the times are changing and technology is penetrating into every aspect of life, soon digital currencies will take over fiat and then bitcoin will become the new ruler of all.

Digital currency is definitely the future but when we say digital currency there are lot of options available and I feel if digital currency topples dollars then it would be an stable coin rather than bitcoin or other fluctuating altcoins as people will expect for stability. But bitcoin will always be preferred as the first choice if someone is looking for investment into crypto but when it comes to toppling fiat I don't think Bitcoin is equipped to do that.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 25, 2019, 05:16:28 PM
bitcoin can stand alone even without altcoin, but for come to be payment solution it's too hard for bitcoin because as we know for confirming 1 confirmation on bitcoin blockchain is too long, better than user another altcoin like Ripple.

ah altcoin was created to fill the weaknesses in the main cryptocurrency bitcoin
bitcoin stands alone, however, all crypto and altcoin currencies depend on the investors themselves and all developments also from the investors themselves therefore it takes confidence and patience from their investors and more and more interest in investing with crypto currencies certainly the crypto currency will also grow rapidly

Bitcoin will always remain independent as other altcoin are dependent of bitcoin for growth as they rise and fall along with bitcoin.  Investors are just looking for right opportunity to invest as right now it's little uncertain and apart from investors if normal users adopt bitcoin for huge transaction then it will give more pump to the value I think bitcoin needs to focus on commercial customers rather than just investors. Let me know if you don't get my point.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When altcoin season? on: October 25, 2019, 04:55:25 PM
It's so sad to say that there is not much good news in cryptocurrency we are seeing too many red marks that's is causing a debate of of the bull run is here already maybe things will settle down the coming weeks or so

Don't lose hope as things will change sooner once the halving takes place which will give pump to bitcoin and we all are aware that once the bitcoin increases other coins will increase as well.  Basically bitcoin is the pillar of crypto world,  we react to situations too much than required which causes chaos and in turn the chaos leads to FUD which leads to panic selling.  We need to go on standby mode for sometime until market recovers.
1075  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more bitcoin dump ? on: October 25, 2019, 04:12:27 PM
~snip~
They forget where Bitcoin was not 2 years ago, not 3 years ago, and as you point out, even 6 months ago. And when price does in the desired direction, no one questions manipulation, or how unsustainable it can be, how it's too fast, with not enough fundamental backing it up.
^ Let me continue this. It was 10 years from now. Bitcoin still alive and the long years come it becomes expensive price in the market so it means there was already a massive adoption happen and we are now on the mainstream. I believed that after this price decreasing there should be another ATH coming and maybe $7k is a good start to pump up again. Nevertheless, it is hard to predict what will happen next so better to relax sometimes.

Yes may be it's time for us to wait and watch as the market shapes because we cannot depend on predictions and we are aware it will bounce back but the problem over here is the panic which has made many ameature to sell off and sometime we tenured people get trapped into panic sell as well.  I belive we need to give sometime for recovery.
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 25, 2019, 03:52:05 PM
Actually crypto is only a preference for payment, not a currency because obviously this is very detrimental for those of us who want to get these benefits. a number of times people now discuss a lot but I don't agree for bitcoin to be a currency. this will be a big problem later on due to limited supply

You could say that, for now at least. Later on, I think Bitcoin will provide a variety of option for us to use it. Due to massive adaptation, it will definitely make a change in how we use it compare to as of now.

The supply isn't really going to be the problem. Did you happen to know about halving? If not, well, basically the number of block rewards is reduced by half after mining for a certain period of time, this happens regularly as per Bitcoin protocols.

Source: Halving

This is considered as a valuable asset
and same with fiat currency when you needed it you spend it independently
Although there wasn't certain implementation regarding it's currency or not, each individual preferred to adopt bitcoin as their mode of daily consumption
Paying bills, loading mobile devices, shopping online and many desired purposes that every person has an option to enjoy those benefits.

If you really consider Bitcoin as a valuable asset, you will never use it on your daily basis.
It never functions the same as fiat money.
Bitcoin is a currency (cryptocurrency)
Maybe all of these benefits you mentioned will have a part later, but right now(?) I think Bitcoin is more valuable than to just be used to those purposes.

But the main purpose of bitcoin was to make lives easier for the transfer of money within and across the border without any hassle real quick and without showing the account to the government, initially people did not believe it and then they started using it as a source of investment after it's value increased by multiple folds. Bitcoin can never be used as fiatt currency due to volatility.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: October 25, 2019, 03:43:55 PM
There is a major issue which is becoming resistance in the way of Bitcoin to be accepted globally and it is its "Volatility".
In the near past we have seen Bitcoin dropping more than 15% in a matter of 3-4 hours. And there are a number of cases in the past like this.

This property is too much dangerous for any entity which is holding Bitcoin. If a company sells products/services of 10000$ and receive payment in Bitcoin, and bitcoin loses 10% in one day then basically company has lost 10% worth of their products.

Scenarios where gross profit margins of the companies are less, this property makes nearly impossible to accept payments in Bitcoin. If volatility of bitcoin is decreased in the future, it would be  a major step ahead.

In my opinion, it would be better that bitcoin will stay in having a high volatility in the market. Since it is the characteristic that no other Financial assets have. We, and investors somehow want the massive volume change in a short period of time as we can have huge profits from it.

Actually some big investors are turing tide their way by fluctuating the price using the huge volume of bitcoin they hold and yes volatility will always stay but what we have seen in last one year or so is something which is clear evidence that bitcoin is controlled. Bitcoin will always remain superior to other coins as far as it's characteristics of bouncing back but other altcoins have better features nowadays.
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit a new low since 2018 on: October 25, 2019, 03:20:33 PM
Speculations are flying all over the place, bitcoin is getting weak day by day. However it can not hit an all time low at this time of the year, am guessing we shall end the year above 10000$ and that will be a major success to the year 2018

We are going through one of the worst situation wherein everyone is aware this is not the end but still people are dumping bitcoin due to the speculation about downfall of bitcoin. Soon when the market gets stable the speculation of these negativity will turn into appreciations. Market will not Hut new low it's just temporary
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dump on: October 24, 2019, 06:24:07 PM
Chinese authorities are planing to launch some more crypto restrictions, that will affect the big Chinese mining farms. That's just the rumors, but yesterday some very big sell orders appeared on all major exchanges. I am not trying to force a panic sales or something similar, but I sold all of my bitcoins for 8 000 and bought some tethers. I will wait and watch what will happen next. Good luck to everyone.

These huge sell order and more restrictions happening simultaneously looks bit suspicious and I think it's a tactic to create panic at the same time when there are news of crackdown of mining firms and I think it's a plan to bring the value of bitcoin as low as possible before the halving and so that they can reinvest before halving and gain huge profit.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple not dead? on: October 24, 2019, 06:09:34 PM

If the only loser in 2019 out of 2600 suspects is Ripple, how is the community cleaning up this f--ing mess that we find ourselves wallowing in?

Ripple marketcap was overcome Ethereum price, Ripple isn't bad as you think. Ripple is good coin for long-term. In this downtrend market, Ripple isn't good for short-term. Until next update Ripple is unpredictable to become shitcoin.

Ripple will never become shitcoin as it has backing from banks and central financial organization,  it will be highly unpredictable due to its centralize nature as the developers can manipulate  the price anytime as they don't have fixed market supply and it's just like fiat. The positive thing about ripple is that it might bring revolution  to the way banking domain works which will be helpful for non crypto users but challenge for crypto in the future due the the features which will be provided by Ripple incase if it openly reveals about it's centralized status which is currently denied by it.
