1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Tokens on: October 22, 2019, 04:31:11 PM
As practice shows, exchange tokens show themselves quite well in the cryptocurrency market.
Only on condition that the exchange is large and has at its disposal a platform for conducting IEO.
There are not many such exchanges, and now their exchange tokens have already grown significantly in price.
However, now in the general recession of the market you can buy coins of such exchanges as Binance, Huobi, Kucoin.

Exchange tokens are always profitable investment if the exchange has good volume and more pairs and altcoins because most of us prefer using exchange tokens for paying the transfer fee as it gives some sort of discount to us. I have closely witnessed the way BNB (Binance) grew up because of it's market dominant as most of the valuable tokens are launched through binance and the users need to have binance to buy the tokens during sale which makes them to swap their coins into BNB as a result it increases the demand thus increasing the value.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 22, 2019, 04:21:04 PM
This sounds baseless and unrealistic as there are so many other altcoins which are ready to take over in case of bitcoin is banned, I believe Ripple will make use of the opportunity as it's already claimed as centralized crypto which is not officially accepted by it's developers. I believe there will be more chaos as some of the most powerful people in the world have invested in bitcoin so they will not let bitcoin to be banned in first place and we cannot expect the values to go high within few months after the ban when we as a community do panic selling for a minute dump.
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: October 22, 2019, 04:11:38 PM
My main question is what makes usd so dominant?
Must be from the country's economy was in properly situation. Therefore, products and services seemed to be more affordable for the citizens in their that on the other hand third world countries currency should be double to able buy one of those. In other case like crypto currency it seems that people who uses bitcoin or other altcoins counts less than the people who uses USD besides the risk in bitcoin is pretty much obvious than USD in my opinion.

It's the acceptance of USD throughout the world which makes it so dominant and the credit goes to the government of USA and it has a long history of violence in order to make the USD so dominant and the main reason USD standouts among-st the other fiat is the fact trades are decided over USD I am sure those who are into import export will understand what am I trying to portray, we have witnessed a Libyan military coup that was created to stop making gold as a trading standard against the USD. I believe only the acceptance makes a fiat dominant. Bitcoin still has a long way to go but it's still possible if bitcoin reaches out to the real life transactions.
1124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or Bear season for crypto? on: October 22, 2019, 04:00:41 PM
The last quarter of this year might be a bull run for alternative coins. Some have lost significant value amost over 90% from their all-time high. XRP has demonstrated this and let see if others will follow
It's hard now, when we can see almost altcoins is in the bearish trend. We still in a downtrend market, and we don't know when it'll stop. Marketcap is just $ 200B now, we need a new inflow. Maybe the next halving event of BTC will be the best time for uptrend start.

Next halving of BTC might go either ways and I feel there are some newbies I mean small and mid level contributors have withdrawn their funds especially those who were expecting for a quick profit and we might see some sort of improvement only if any major organization decides to enter the crypto world or else we need to be dependent on whales to cashout when the cashin.  We don't know if we will ever have one more bull run or things will improve gradually without any noise.
1125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BOUNTY SCAM!!! on: October 22, 2019, 03:47:24 PM
majority of bounty are scam they take months of your hard work and give you a worthless token, sometimes you work 3moths just to get 9m token worth $2. They are using you to enrich their selves it's called 21st century slavery.
Avoid any token pool less than $1m .they are worthless at the end.
Be careful of newbie bounty manager.
Avoid Ico bounty, too risky.
I have millions of worthless token in my wallet I worked hard for it, don't waste your time be careful..  I love you Son

Thats why some reputed Manager don't accept token payments. They only accept btc as a payments.this is true nowdays its really hard to find good bounty. Sometimes bounty Manager scamed people. So next time before joining any bounty campaign check the Manager.yahoo is one of the reputed manager in bitcointalk and i love to join his bounty campaign but it's really hard to take a space in his bounty.

Yahoo now handles a lot of gambling bounties with BTC paid and no longer manages ICO bounties.
And absolutely we have to really avoid allocating with a $ 1 million bounty reward that is the same as there is no price, Seeing the bounty manager is also very important because the Manager has his own analysis before launching the bounty.

Apart from doing our own research and verification about the development team we also need to consider who is managing the bounty as there are some of the seasoned bounty managers like Yahoo who don't randomly accept to work for a project without surety that it's legit. But sometime we fall for the marketing tactics wherein they mention millions as rewards. I think we should blame our self if we still make mistake while selecting bounty projects as we have a bitter experience from the past.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ETHEREUM KEEPS DISAPPOINTING on: October 21, 2019, 06:54:38 PM
In the course of this year, ethereum has mostly not been promising due to the many disappointing times we have experienced. Sometimes, it even become very difficult to know when to hold or sell out some ethereum. All the same, many people who trust in altcoins have kept some great faith in ethereum and that is an amazing motivation that ethereum can really bounce back and be the strong force most hodlers wish for.

Make development, This is one of the things that ethereum has to do because many people lose confidence in their platform because of repeated scams.

I think they should give the token makers regulation on their platform to rebuild their trust to make the Ethereum-based ICO campaign successful again.

Just by regulating ERC platform will limit scam projects but I don't think this will resolve the issue as they might use some other platform to scam and I believe only the proper knowledge and research is the key to avoid scams. As far as the value of Ethereum is concerned we all know that it will bounce back anytime just like it did couple of months ago after one of it's worst price drop.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 21, 2019, 06:41:10 PM
can't fight scams it's just that we have to avoid scam projects. so far many scams through ICO there have been many people fooled by ICO. I think we should leave ICO. Then don't invest with low-volume coins that are very dangerous there are lots of low volume coins left by the developer

We can fight scam projects by spreading awareness and if all the tenured users start sharing their knowledge about scam project and how it looks then it will reach the entire community and it's the duty of community to stop falling in the marketing traps of ICO's as some of them just says that they have reached softcap without any valid proof or address where they have received the funds so we need to demand the transparency from the developers in order to avoid falling into the trap.
1128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Telegram Crypto Scammer Technique on: October 21, 2019, 06:10:57 PM
Lol! Encounter this also and mostly this kind of scammers are on big groups, they are just waiting for users who have an issue and they strike asking for your details or rather ask for money for solving issues and newbies should notice so that they will be aware in this schemes. If there are idiots who pm them much advisable if they will go to the legit telegram channel to verify the real admins name.

True I have co managed some bounties in the past and I have received similar complaints from the bounty hunters and group members wherein they even pretend like they are the group administration and sometimes they adopt the name of founder of the project as you can change your name numerous times in telegram without any restrictions.  As you have mentioned they target vulnerable who are going through some or the other issue.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2019, 02:54:27 PM

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

I don't think people are losing interest with bitcoin, this way too far to happen. Only people who really know the essence of bitcoin will stick into it and will patronize it despite of the downsides and its breakdowns in the crypto space. Just because people doesn't search about it or want to know more about it, doesn't mean that the masses is losing interest in using it. Just seeing how fast and wide the adaption of bitcoin, be it local or foreign country, big or small scale Businesses, bitcoin is paving its way up and putting up with the level of fiat and has the probability surpass fiat's dominance in the market stock.

It's more like unseasoned player are leaving the field as it's more of a saturation which is happenings as only those who have immense experience and knowledge about bitcoin will stick wherein those who are in for quick gain might make a move but this does not mean people are losing interest. I have different opinion when it comes to fiat dominance as fist dominance will always be there in the market but bitcoin will run in parallel with them as bitcoin cannot replace fiat.
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: October 21, 2019, 02:30:37 PM
bitcoin must have biggest allocation in our portofolio.as main cryptocurrency bitcoin price more promising in future.moreover in every 4 years bitcoin mining reward will reduce, and ofcourse it will make bitcoin price increase alot when its supply become rarely.in my portofolio i have around 30% from total value.and another one in major altcoin.

I have 90% of bitcoin in my portfolio right now as it was too many altcoins and a major chunck of ETH who I have to sell in order to invest in mining which turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life as the rigs and graphics card are at one corner of my house as it costs more to run the rig and the profit margin is lesser than the expense.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 21, 2019, 10:00:03 AM
I don't think that it will be necessary to boycott ICO or IEO because if people believe that the ICO or IEO is not profitable to them. The participants will leave the project without taking a look at the back. They don't want to help the project by promoting their project to the public because they cannot get some benefits from the project. The investor will walk away from their project because the investor now becomes smarter than before. The investor has a lot of experience from the previous project, and they don't want to get bad things from the wrong project. The investor doesn't want to lose again in a bad project, especially if they know that the project doesn't have a good future.
In my opinion if that does not need a lot of effort to think about how it's necessary to boycott ico or ieo. in my opinion if we are abandoning such ico or ieo and that has the same meant if we have already boycott such ico. This will not work. Maybe you can boycott that by yourself but another person will have a different opinion than you dude.
There must be the best solution for that and we need such a trusted company that can act as a middleman for ico and ieo.

We cannot involve a middleman at it might make it look like centralized and there are chances of power abuse of corruption if a 3rd party will verify the ICO &  IEO, so it's better to have a relevant team just like moderators to clear the project before they post it here at bitcointalk.org as this is improve the quality of projects listed here and more users will have trust on us.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get into the $8600 Zone? on: October 21, 2019, 07:34:54 AM
Bitcoin price drop now at $7900 so i think its gonna be drop around $7200 before the end of this month.
And many investor that will gonna buy for it because they are waiting that bitcoin price will drop.

But we are witnessing this minor drop and increase from last few weeks wherein it's neither going below $7,500 nor going beyondand $8,500. I am slightly clueless how things will be in upcoming quarter but yes the price will increase but not sure when. Investors will be playing a key role this time as they can either go for bitcoin or Ethereum as they might not choose to invest in ICO like they did last year.
1133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin's Weak Points on: October 21, 2019, 07:02:03 AM

We are always talking here the many benefits, advantages and power of Bitcoin, but we know that for every coin there are always two sides. Bitcoin, am sure, also have its own many weak points that may or may not need some good attention or focus.

Please share here some weak points of Bitcoin that you know and feel...let's discuss them one by one and see how solutions can be applied into them.

There are many limitations about bitcoin as well just like any other product and the but the surprising thing about bitcoin's weakness is those weakness acts as it's strength as well and I would say it's the anonymity which makes bitcoin popular as no one can track you but thia has been taken for  granted as bitcoin is used as most secure extortion method for kidnappings,  terrorism funding and money laundering. Just like anonymity we have volatility issue as well which may be a negative aspect but it does help traders to earn more.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: October 21, 2019, 03:38:31 AM
It's not right to blame the poor or underdeveloped countries if they have an high inflation issue this is because inflation problem can be anywhere and anytime. Inflation is the rate at which the general level of prices for goods and services rises and results in a decrease in purchasing power of a country's currency therefore becoming a poor country is not the only reason of inflation but because  either excess aggregate demand (economic growth too fast) or cost push factors in which rich countries could happen too.
That is not true. Not all of the underdeveloped countries have a high inflation rate. Most of them have a normal range of inflation rate and I don't think that the inflation rate has a factor for them being a underdeveloped country because it depends on the government if they are corrupt or not and if they are doing some projects that can attract investors will eventually boosts their economy.
But in the end, inflation is inflation. I mean even if a country has a low rate of it, still the people will be facing a lot of trouble and therefore, these common people should take some firm steps on their own for the betterment of living standards. These are the countries who need to invest in bitcoin so that they can improve their financial status and enjoy luxuries offered by life. They should stop depending on others.

Regardless of how much they invest in bitcoin and other crypto still the inflation will exist as long as they have corrupt government and people. They need to look into the root cause of inflation and then try eliminating it which require an assurance from both the government and people of the county,  I have researched few common reasons for inflation are dodging taxes, corrupt government, mafia rule which eats up the natural resource of the country.
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we looking at Bitcoin down to $5K? on: October 21, 2019, 03:27:26 AM
That will be a huge downfall which i doubt ever happening especially with the news of bitcoin halving just around the corner. It's possible to see the levels of $7k-$8k but i doubt we would ever sink below this range to over $5k. This is the best of times to get friendly with the use of stable currencies lol.

Yes going below $5k at this particular moment seems unreal as it might fluctuate between $7,500 and $8,500 as of now but sudden dump from the whales might lead to downfall and we could approach $5k but let's keep the negative vibes aside as you said we have stable coin to bank on in case of any debacle.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 21, 2019, 03:11:17 AM
I would say participating in IEO will be more beneficial rather than waiting for the same token to buy at an inflated price but you need to be very careful before participating in an IEO by doing proper research about the project as you should not be scammed and don't go for it even if you get slightest doubt about the activity of the team.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would ICO scene succeed if it was organized like crowdfunding not investing? on: October 20, 2019, 09:27:48 PM
Those who launch ICOs are most times greedy. Some of them will tell you that they will not stop the ICO until hardcap is reached. That is one of the  norm that killed a lot of them. They also set very high targets for their softcap, which sometimes is unrealistic. Till date ICOs are seen as scam.

It's last 18 months that has killed ICO projects and got the label as scam due to greediness of some developers but some really good projects are drowned by the investors themselves by dumping the tokens as soon as they receive it. We need to set some sort of protocols for ICOs or have a rules in this forum for advertising ICO projects by making them go through verification project to avoid scams but that's not practical as well as it will push us towards the centralization. There were ICO projects who achieved their softcaps in hours and completely sold out during the public sale but they ended up with a value just about zero due to poor choice of exchanges. Not all the ICOs are scam but there are various factors which leads to the failure of ICO.
1138  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: October 20, 2019, 08:29:02 PM
The fact that some governments abuse their rights and print more paper money on the basis of the state’s economic growth does not give rise to consider them a scam. Paper money has existed for several centuries and has proven its worth. There is still no alternative to paper money as a physical form of money.
I think that paper money will be the main and most common form of payment medium for a long time to come.

That's the bitter truth which some of the people over here refuses to accept it as they have no idea about the importance of fiat currency or they are just saying something without a proper research. We do understand that there are corruption and the central government abuses it's power by printing more currency but if they don't print new paper currencies then world will come to a standstill and we cannot withdraw our own hard earned money due to shortage of fiat currency. People need to understand that crypto can be alternative for fiat but not the replacement.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Adopt New coins ? on: October 20, 2019, 07:39:18 PM
Where are all the coins that claimed they were better than bitcoin and were going to kill or replace bitcoin? Most are in the grave now sending investors to a solitary life. Bitcoin has a dedicated communities and the support continues, they don't employ any, new coins do employ developers and still go bankrupt.

That's too harsh on developers and yes we know for a fact that bitcoin does not adopt any new coins as bitcoin is not in need of any particular coin to survive wherein the fluctuations in the value of bitcoin affects the entire market. Altcoins still has a long way to travel before discussing about any sort of deal with bitcoin. Bitcoin don't need other coins but other coins need bitcoin for their survival.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: October 20, 2019, 01:17:00 PM
Still many of newbies are not aware of their private keys. I see some of them do provide private keys to get some free tokens either from airdrops or from fake bounty projects. Some of them unknowingly save their private keys on their Bitcoin Forum account. In fact I did save my private keys on my bitcoin account. Newbies should know the fact that they should not share their private keys to anyone. Only they should share is ERC address.

Most of them make this mistake as either they missout on saving the private keys or else save it in their bitcointalk forum account I lost access to my blockchain wallet due to same stupidity in the past and they should save the private key in their email to keep it secure and accessible.
