HOLY TOLEDO guys!

Ken actually already refunded my order in BTC.
I can't believe it. Are you sure bitcoin transactions aren't reversible? Smiley

I will need at least one week to recover from this totally unexpected event.

Finally I can close this chapter full of horror.

If you feel comfortable will you post the tx link?

It seems refunds aren't being paid out from mining funds - https://blockchain.info/address/16yTynjmSe5bsRGykDaaCL5bm2pxiEfcqP

Congratulations!  I'm looking forward to an update on your mining ventures on coindesk.

Thefunkybits:  I miss the days when you thought Ken walked on water and were outraged by me telling you this was a scam.

Tnx Entropy. Hope I can still remain objective however Wink

OK. Do you know if there is anybody in this list, who only ordered one or only a few Baby Jets or Sierra's (small customer)? Tnx.
The only little order is Morici's, that if I remember correctly is for 2 BJ, he is the plaintiff of that first and only public lawsuit against HF. Every other in that list is at least one order of magnitude bigger. It's public record. (Again, I'm unsure about the claim digimex have).

Thanks for the info.

hopefully honesty and transparency will win the game. we might have a creditors' meeting at 4pst probably concerning appointing the chair and first subsequent steps. so I'll keep you guys in the loop as much as confidentiality may or may not allow me to.

The only entity in the group to worry about as far as I know is Uniquify. While I'm sure they're a respectable company, their history with HashFast leaves one to remain cautious.

I'm guessing you represent the relatively small order claims?
No, I have no affiliation with anyone really aside from the fact that in the end, we all just want to get as much of our money back as possible.

OK. Do you know if there is anybody in this list, who only ordered one or only a few Baby Jets or Sierra's (small customer)? Tnx.

Hash while you wait started mining. How do I reverse this?

May be difficult now since it has been started. Best chance is to contact them by phone asap, and cry a little bit. If it doesn't work, try yelling.

what's an obgation?

It's an obligation to interpret the word 'obgation' as 'obligation'.
154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: June 23, 2014, 09:17:51 PM
I'm naturally sad at not being in there but I think it to be a good list. Not perfect, but simply good. Now everything will depend on the amount of bad actors distinguished as good ones that made it to that list. Let's simply say that there is a bit of hope.

Let's hope for the best then

Just wanted to let everyone here know I've been selected to serve on the bankruptcy committee. For those with claims, I'm here for you guys if you want your voices voiced. Can't say I'm too familiar with the whole process or anything though.

Thanks for letting know

This is great news.

Also, if anyone is interested I'm making custom displays to fill the hole left by the missing LCDs.

Using state of the art Static Display Technology and a cellulose pulp substrate, these displays are guaranteed to be 100% accurate all the time while using zero energy whatsoever.

See Below.

But in all seriousness, I'm glad you got the shipment without much strife. Hoping to see a tracking number relatively soon.
Cheers.

Not all risk is financial.  Not everyone in the community is comfortable sharing their personal details with a governmental body.  Look where it got Charlie Shrem.

I think this is the first thing you've said I can agree with. Everyone has their own risk factors. Charlie Shrem is a case all on it's own. He didn't follow the rules (So they say). Not sure how his situation is applicable in this scenario as from what I understand he didn't report suspicious activity as a money transmitter and his emails "incriminate him". I haven't really been following that but this is my understanding of his situation.

You can see the display (bleu thing on the bottom of the Controller board)

Still those damn short cables...

Hopefully they will not compensate with a stupid coupon for our next purchase. But it looks it's now going in that direction...

Its probably what they will go with as it is in their best interest but totally worthless to us.

Not sure if it would be in their best interest, as it would probably be game over for them then (no one ever wanting to buy from them again)
