141  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there a way to see your total price gain or loss for Binance trading app? on: March 15, 2021, 11:09:14 PM
Webull also has something similar, it takes some scrolling but it's there. Unless I'm missing something. I don't see anything on the Binance app.
142  Economy / Exchanges / Is there a way to see your total price gain or loss for Binance trading app? on: March 15, 2021, 03:55:33 PM
The safepal Binance app. Is there a way to see the price you bought it for, and what it is now? I don't see anything about that. So far I've just took screen shots of when I bought a coin. I see there is a way to go back in the history of orders, but it's not easily accessible.

Robinhood just had a total gain/loss and easily scroll downable price history of what you bought and sold at. Dont really see that for safepals binance add on.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: again a Bitcoin millionaire who forgot his password on: March 14, 2021, 12:25:13 AM
Just print the BTC private key somewhere and voila your bitcoins are stored for life! No need for any special device. Some people make things more complicated than they are.

Exactly. Hell I'm even thinking of getting a lead? Or maybe .... aluminum or some thin sheet of metal to scratch the phrases on there. metal in case of a fire
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long would it take for one Satoshi to equal one US dollar? on: March 14, 2021, 12:23:20 AM
Yep, I try to just buy all the dips I can. If we get a bear market by next year. I'll prob do a lot more to keep stacking sats.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long would it take for one Satoshi to equal one US dollar? on: March 14, 2021, 12:17:17 AM
Don't be hurried, just enjoy your profit or keep holding if you believe that will happen.

No worries not hurried, just wondering and thinking about it. I'm not selling out of botcoin until 1 sat = 1 dollar. So it might not even happen in my life time, there is the possibility it might just be a generational asset, something I pass down to my hopefully potential future kids.

Though, hopefully my alt coins make all of us alt holders wealthy or wealthier in the nearer future. That would be nice. Hopefully in the next 10 years I can buy myself a nice property somewhere with what I put in. Maybe. Or at least 10x would be wonderful.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long would it take for one Satoshi to equal one US dollar? on: March 14, 2021, 12:11:35 AM
could be this year, next year, 10 year from now, non one know

That would be nice but I doubt it would be less than 10 years from now. But Idk.. I'm estimating about 50 years maybe. But that could change if more and more big bankers and maybe even nations start buying bitcoin.
147  Economy / Speculation / How long would it take for one Satoshi to equal one US dollar? on: March 13, 2021, 11:11:31 PM
Let's say you have a million satoshis. How long till you are a millionaire. I know no one can predict the future, but assuming bitcoin keeps climbing the logarithmic charts. How long do we have. 12 years or 50?
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Cardano, Vechain, and Cosmos plan to continue giving staking rewards? on: March 11, 2021, 01:20:59 PM
I dont see anything that says they wont. But just wondering what everyone here thinks. These definitely beat the banks any day of the week
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Does Cardano, Vechain, and Cosmos plan to continue giving staking rewards? on: March 11, 2021, 10:41:57 AM
Indefinitely? Or will they eventually end it?

I've been thinking. I really love the idea of getting passive income from staking ADA, ATOM, and VET. If I put a bunch of money into that. I could one day just live off of the passive income. Or it be at least enough to pay some bills. So is this something they plan to do indefinitely or is it only temporary, basically something to get people investing in?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: March 07, 2021, 12:11:07 AM
Bitcoin for the long haul. If I make profits off my alt coins, I will convert most of those profits in bitcoin.

It's the one and only. Ethereum has more uses, but it also has high gas fees, promises of making an eth 2.0 but with no time line and it's taking such a long time I feel another competitor might overtake them any time now with something better. There is a chance that even when they release eth 2.0, there might still be a competitor that has released something that is still even better with nearly no fees so Eth might get dethroned soon imo
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My ADA BEP20 is stuck in limbo on the safepal wallet on: March 07, 2021, 12:08:28 AM
"Or just go with tradtional way of spot trading on exchanges."

I'm trying to get back what I can from my BNB (BEP20) from the Binance app on safepal.

I nearly had a heart attack last night when trying to do this. It said "withdrawal suspended" or something. Scared the crap out of me until I found out that apparently they were doing site maintenance and the withdraw function was restored. Are there any other exchanges that allow you to trade crypto without KYC requirements? I feel nervous to use binance much for exchanging when funds can be suspended at random for unknown amounts of time.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My ADA BEP20 is stuck in limbo on the safepal wallet on: March 06, 2021, 11:49:42 PM
I think you need some BNB for you to swap them as gas fees. Do you have any BNB stored in your wallet?

I'm not so familiar with using safepal, but that is my understanding from the error you are getting. It may be worth your while to try transferring some, even perhaps a small amount willl do since BSC network requires smaller fees. You can also check out trustwallet which supports most BEP20 tokens.

Yeah I had BNB but I had to convert some other currency to BNB(BEP20) in order to send the transaction. Good lord I wish there was a huge warning for people not to use BNB20 anything for anything. After conversion fees and now having atm mostly useless BNB BEP20 currency sitting (I had to do a minimum transaction amount to convert) the total fees makes me feel so retarded.. I can probably see about sending the rest of the BNB20 to convert with another program then see if I can send the rest of that if I can send it due to it being a small amount left. Idk.

All this because I noobishly assumed that ADA listed on safepal was just... ADA and didn't know about all the different issues that could arise from buying the wrong type. Didn't know anything other than I wanted to invest in ADA. I'm gonna die from severe noobness, I wish I learned about this stuff instead of paying money to learn mostly useless stuff in college classes a couple years back. If I put the money in crypto I'd be financially well off now. Better late than never I guess. I guess it's a learning process or something. idk.

When I looked up stuff about BEP20 vs ERC and the other one. Like there was nothing that mentioned this possible issue with stuff.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My ADA BEP20 is stuck in limbo on the safepal wallet on: March 06, 2021, 08:14:44 AM
ADA is not BEP20, it is its own coin.
Yes its not. But exchanges like Binance allowed to have Bep20 tokenized form.

OP I'm not sure what kind of stuck are you talking about here, cause if you send it to a compatible Bep20 address too then there should be no problem provided that you pay for the small fee of transaction.

The only difference in format could be the ada own blockchain. Are you sure you are using which type before sending?

Normally, I can just swap cryptos for others but it it just says "BNB(BEP20) is not enough to pay for miners."

What other wallets support BEP20 ADA and will let you swap or convert? I guess I can send it to one of those, then convert it to either regular ADA or swap for something else I can send to the other wallet. Idk.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My ADA BEP20 is stuck in limbo on the safepal wallet on: March 06, 2021, 08:10:27 AM
Safepal apparently doesn't even offer ADA as it's own thing.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / My ADA BEP20 is stuck in limbo on the safepal wallet on: March 06, 2021, 06:11:17 AM
I have about 530 ADA. I want to convert it to another coin, but no matter what coin. I can't swap it for anything. I can't swap it for ADA BEP2 either. I can't send it to another ADA address because its not compatible. Any time I try to swap it, it says "BNB(BEP20) is not enough to pay for miners."

I really REALLY wish there was more warning out there for noobs to crypto not to get BEP20 because it's stuck unless... I guess you have thousands to pay in fees or something vs I guess ERC20 not sure. I didn't know which ADA to get so I just went with the default on the safepal app.

I was wanting to send my ADA from my smart pal to ADA on Exodus but apparently they are different. Uhg. man it's so exhausting leaning about this stuff and getting all these massive fees.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / If Ethereum classic can be hacked, what is stopping someone from doing it again? on: March 03, 2021, 08:00:38 PM
I've actually been interested in getting some ETC classic because there is a finite supply.... but... what is stopping a hack and I lose my funds?
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What wallet has the most crypto alts supported with the lowest fees to swap? on: March 01, 2021, 06:37:14 PM
I'm using Exodus right now. Lots of coins I want to trade for are often chronically not available. Like ADA is "temporarily unavailable" but it's been like that for a week or more.

First and only wallet so I'm not sure how the trading fees compare to other wallets for swapping coins.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What crypto currencies have the lowest transaction fees? XLM? Tron? Monero? on: February 26, 2021, 07:49:37 PM
For sending amounts in the hundreds to another wallet.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is preventing a crypto-exchange in another nation from not requiring KYC? on: February 21, 2021, 11:13:13 PM
Trading volumes do not allow them.
The United States has a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts, and if they want to provide services to these Americans, they must comply with the United States regulations, which impose restrictions on dealing with many countries.
Bitpay service was fined for supporting purchases of people from Iran and North Korea.

I guess I can see that if they are based in the USA or any nation friendly to the USA. But what would prevent Iran or North Korea from opening a crypto exchange and allowing anyone to trade? The US can't really fine them or do much about it right?
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the chances like that someone recovery seeds into someone else' account? on: February 21, 2021, 11:02:35 PM
Okay thank you all for the replies, that def helped me not really worry about it. And especially thanks for breaking it down to nooby terms because math was never my strong suit lol.

Just gotta remind myself "Funds are Safu"
