141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What things do you study while choosing a wallet? on: May 05, 2023, 06:15:13 AM
There are a lot of cryptocurrency wallets to pay and receive payments. While you choose a wallet, what things do you consider first like technical support, transaction fees or blockchain technology and why and what is the most important thing for you? We should discuss that!

the most important thing I see when choosing a wallet and I think everyone should consider that too is that either the wallet is a custodial wallet or non-custodial. always choose a good non-custodial wallet where you have full authority of your keys and funds. although some custodial wallets are also pretty secure but they always have risk of getting hacked or they can even shut down withdraws in some occasions like what happened in recent FTX collapse. but with a non custodial wallets you will not have to worry anything about that and can freely move your funds anywhere you want.
142  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which is the best platform to get clients as a web designer? on: May 05, 2023, 06:08:31 AM
The cost of purchasing a course related to IT proffession is quite on a high side in our world today, still lots of competition out there, a lot of people searching for clients using different advertising methods making it harder to find clients.
you are right the competition in todays world is very high specially in these days. i think a web designer should also have little bit of digital marketing and communication skills. these are 2 important skills you would need if you really want to stand out and compete with others in your field.. and the best platforms are linkedin twitter and facebook in my opinion. these are the platforms where you can really showcase your designing skills and get clients if you know litle bit about digital marketing and communication..
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: May 05, 2023, 06:01:42 AM
If we are confused for business then the easiest thing to develop money is by investing, currently there are many investment options available and if we dare to take risks then investing in cryptocurrencies is a good choice, the opportunity to profit 100% or more in a year makes me tempted to invest in cryptocurrencies even with a small value.
but it is also very risky to invest in cryptocurrencies. and there are very good chances that all money would loose at the end. pluse all the other risks for example getting hacked or scammed. but if someone is still willing to take all the risks then yes investing in crypto can give very high yeild compared to real life investment..
I would go with staking and farming type of investments because this is a type of investment where your original amount of money is kind of safe and can be redeemed whenever you want.

Staking and farming are also a risk since we need to buy the tokens and start farming or staking, we never know when the value of the token that we used will go down. Everything like investing or depositing in the bank also has a risk, just like we see there are already a few banks almost bankrupt due to interest rates from the FED that affect customer behavior. If we want to wisely use our money we should learn first before we use it since knowledge is really important to prevent money loss in an instant.
Yes. but there are many big platforms where you can do staking and farming without worrying much about token price because the token or coin you'll be staking is pretty established. for example, if you do staking in Binance launchpool using BNB. BNB is a coin that is not very volatile like newly released tokens. all you need to do is stake BNB to earn tokens available in their launchpool.  even you can stake stablecoins to avoid even a little bit of price drop. this is what I meant when I said staking and farming and I think this type of staking is pretty safe.

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't do something else offline, is this something wrong? on: May 04, 2023, 01:00:09 PM
I never have the opportunity to do a business neither in Bitcoin nor in offline . but In my opinion if working for bitcoin is all you like and your heart and mind don't want to do anything outside then I think it is much better that you stick with bitcoin only. even bitcoin  have countless business and earning opportunities . you can do multiple business withen bitcoin.
I don't think you should push yourself too hard to something else offline. specially when you are doing good in bitcoin.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - what is your plan when we reach $100k? on: May 03, 2023, 10:39:28 AM
I do not have much Bitcoin currently but I am planning to convert a lot of the profits I make in my altcoins during the bull run into BTC which I will then hold till the 2028/29 bull run.

I expect Bitcoin to reach at least $100k at the peak of the next bull run, possibly $150k.

Just wondering what we are all planning to do when Bitcoin does reach $100k - are you selling or are you holding till the 2028/29 bull run?
It is very unlikely that I'll reach to $100k in Bitcoin anytime soon. but If i got there by chance then my plans are simple. I'll utlize them in a way to increase them. I'll probably divide them in multple portions and do various investments and earning with them. including trading, mining and buying selling IDOs. I heard that's very profitable.. i know all these are very risky and i might end up loosing them. but only holding them won't be a smart move in my opinion.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream crypto adoption on: May 03, 2023, 06:52:18 AM
Regardless, I think everyone should leave crypto's mining business,
So if every one leaves crypto mining business, then how is Bitcoin network supposed to work? How will the new blocks get confirmed/

Don't you think this will be bending to Government's demands?
exactly. how would the bitcoin network run without miners? I think there has to be alternatives just in case anything like that ever happen. because mining is becoming less and less profitable. and so many people arleady quit mining due to that reason.
Ethereum devs saw that issue and upgraded Ethereum to 2.0. maybe something like that for bitcoin would be very helpful. what do you think?
148  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: May 02, 2023, 02:15:57 PM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑
because most people entering newly in crypto don't know that they need skills also to survive in crypto world. they think only inevesting in crypto will make them rich without doing anything else. but they'll end up loosing all their money and at the end they blame bitcoin and crypto and call it a scam.
even freelancing and ecommorce have huge scope in crypto. you can make good sum of money doing freelancing for crypto and bitcoin. but most people tend to ignore this and keep chasing shortcuts and easy ways to make money.
149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which app or software to track gains and losses? on: May 02, 2023, 02:08:30 PM
there is an App on Play store which I think does what you need
here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blockfolio.cryptotracker&hl=en&gl=US&pli=1

beside this you can also make your portfolio with coinmarketcap and track your losse and gains as well and that works pretty well i think .
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is Bitcoin to the youth? on: May 02, 2023, 01:58:35 PM
Actually, the youth could be the main target market of Bitcoin and crypto since they can easily adopt and learn technology compared to other generations. Also, they are on the perfect ages to get into investing since they're still young and have a lot of opportunities and time to learn and grow. With a proper knowledge, the youth can easily discover more benefits of Bitcoin for themselves that can change their lives for the better.

Just like me, I started to get into Bitcoin before reaching 20 and I can say that I'm lucky to have that opportunity since I started earning already. Imagine if more people around those age will get to learn about Bitcoin...
you are right mate. there is really a huge scope among youth to learn and adopt bitcoin faster than the older generation. they are more open to accepting new technologies and taking risks in life. and when the new technology is full of earning and career opportunities then it is like a treasure for youth and younger generation. I myself find it a lot easier to make a living by working for bitcoin and crypto compared to finding an IRL job. that's why it attracted me at first place.

I'm a newbie, would love to join the campaign. Are newbies allowed to join?
unfortunately, newbies can't wear signatures. but if you want (and can afford) you can buy a copper membership which would give you same advantage as a member rank users. then you can wear a signature and join this campaign.
since it is a charity campaign. I assume there is no restriction and anyone can join.

160  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Intersango May Owe You Money on: January 12, 2023, 06:18:52 AM
Intersango owes users thousands of bitcoin. Patrick Strateman embezzled 10s of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin from thousands of users. Hundreds are owed 1 BTC or more. He also sold the forked coins of these users.

A co-founder has written up these new revelations, and his struggle to bring them to light in the hopes that people will get their money back. If you or anyone you know used Intersango, please share this with them.  Here’s a detailed account of what happened here: paypeoplepatrick d0t com
Never Heard of Intersango before (maybe i am too young for that).. and they don't have much footprint left in internet either. i searched it on google and could only find this link about one Intersango which was supposed to be a crypto exchange
https://bittrust.org/intersango-formerly-britcoin
the link also indicates that It was formerly called Britcoin
the post itself doesn't provide many details nor are there any reviews (positive or negative) from any of it's users. the link provided there doesn't work so we can assume it could've scammed thousands of people (only if it had thousands of users)  if they scammed millions off dollars of user's money we could've at least heard some news. maybe it was not as hyped as FTX (which scammed $ billions) but still, there has to be some news about their scam.

according to the website you gave this incident happened around 2014.
