so whats everbodys estimations on price per nxt coin come january.  0.00010000 is my guess.

Well, QRK is at 0.0002 and it bring absolutely zero to the table.  So, using that as a comparison, NXT must be at 0.002 or 0.02.

I think if NXT gets more exposure, it'll hit 0.0001-0.0005.

Needs stable client and a way for exchanges to implement it.

I remember DGEX used to be one of first who offered Freicoin exchange back in january. That is one long scam going on  Roll Eyes

Seriously that guy did 'research' but failed to notice creator is paranoid about privacy as hell in very second post about nxt on original thread.

Also, trying to create panic sells with that thread title. He sure is buying...

panic sells thread title?  where pelase?

152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING about Nextcoin NXT the new altcoin is this legit? on: December 04, 2013, 07:10:36 PM
Ive been suspicious of NXT from the beginning. Something always seemed off.

I'm sort of in the same boat, but I risked a btc and the people working on it are active in fixing/ upgrading it.

Biggest fear is that it's the tenebrix:litecoin::NXT:somethingelse...

Is dgex the only exchange to buy NXT from right now?

Yeah, it's closed source til january so all exchenges have to do it manually (or be really creative with coding)

dgex is the only one who's stepped up to the plate so far.

I got an interesting PM just a minute ago:

Hi Klee,

Im looking for a good cryptocurrency to invest money in.
I was enthousiastic about NXT since it's the newest coin on the market.
However, when I did some research on it I discovered the following things:

The currency website www.nextcoin.org and NXT echange platform DGEX.com are both hosted by the same company that appears have produced the currency.
That's Graviton Capital Inc.
By checking the WHOIS info on these websites the admin of both is goldtails@gmail.com

By googling that emailadress I discovered other websites that are adminned by this guy:

http://www.webboar.com/whois-email/goldtails@gmail.com

These are domainnames of gambling websites that look like scams.
The one that caught my eye the most is: www.ponzigame.com
PONZI GAME...

Above all that: in the terms of DGEX.com NXT exchange website it says that all BTC tranfered in to your DGEX account will become property of DGEX.com

Well aren't these all serious red flags not to get involved with this currency?
I'd look to know what your opinion is on my foundings.
I haven't been able to post directly on the forum since I'm only a newbie here.
If you also see this as an unfolding scam please warn everybody that is interested.

Kind regards,
xxx
"

I had to disclose it for transparency.
Regardless of the DGEX part, still I can't see how Next or BCNext could be linked with this.
Anyways, I think the accusations for Graviton even if legit have nothing to do with the coin..

Why worry about privacy, he posted a thread...
Really? Link please?

I like NXT and the exchange and forum have nothing to do with the founders or programmers. It's just an enthusiastic NXT user making an exchange and forum, they are by no means official. That said, the exchange and forum have worked fine for me, regardless or what other sites he's made.

Might have nothing to do with the coin itself, but how about the exchange? And they might have worked fine for you right now, because NXT is nothing worth at this time. Scammers won't strike until it's worth something.

I admire people who do research and find this kind of information. Even if it's a false positive (what this could be of course). And we all know there's a lot of scam going on in this scene.

Good post altcoinfuture!

Well he does post that he made those gambling sites on dgex.com, haha.

I just wanna say that he hasn't scammed anyone yet and has been trustworthy of all ventures I know of him, of course, diligence is of course always required when entrusting your money with someone else.

And where is the 21 BTC now? Tongue
- I think you know the answer. I am sure, they are spending on exchange creation, on rewriting Nxt networking, maybe on blockchain explorer, and so on.  And 21 BTC is not comparable with 4000 BTC Mastershit Exodus.

We don't have to be so abrasive. I kinda like what Mastercoin is doing, but POS has long term power, we don't need to be so defensive. As for the "Premine," anyone who invested had almost no guarantee NXT was going to be released so naturally only a comparativley small amount of people got them. I don't like this either. which is why I can't wait for the giveaway of the unclaimed coins to level the playing field.

600,000 NXT left

They've been sold (sadly for less than I wanted) For those that got em, enjoy em.
