141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 07, 2020, 12:13:35 PM
Bitcoin is having a small run, we just touched at $8000 as per Binance record, its 24 hours high is $8000.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/BTC_USDT

What do you guys think that will happen next? is this the bull run we are long waiting?
What a good signal at the beginning of 2020 but i am worry that the price will drop soon as usual because there is no positive information behind this small run.
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Profitability of Trading Bots on: January 07, 2020, 01:24:33 AM
I am curious if people have had success with trading bots in cryptocurrency.

I have recently set up a bot and have been astounded by the operability of it. It's actually working lol.
Well, if you have also had luck or interesting experiences with trading bots let me know =]. Cheers
I was succeeded with trading bots in a short time when the market is pretty stable. However i decided to stop using trading bots because the bot strategy wasn't profitable anymore, it couldn't handle the market situation.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 06, 2020, 03:01:46 PM
In one year, most of Bitcoin's rally usually occurred within a few days. Therefore, the "Hold Bitcoin" strategy is still considered the best, according to Binance Research.

In fact, in one year, the pump for Bitcoin only happened in a few short days, and most of the rest was sideway. Therefore, it is easy for investors to miss the pump if they are not regularly watching the market.

According to the recently published data, since 2013, the annual growth performance of Bitcoin only occurred in about 10 days, which means that each year we will have 10 days that Bitcoin actually increases aka "pump". After this 10 days, Bitcoin will go sideway and the growth performance may decrease by 25%.

Therefore, the actual pump of Bitcoin is very short, it is only a blink of an eye compared to the rest (sideway or decline).

However, there are also many ideas that "not every Hold is the best". If a person held bitcoin before December 2017 until now, they would still lose more than 50%.

If you are an investor who does not have much time to observe the market, nor know the analysis of charts, then the Hold option is the best for you.

And for investors who like to "trade", certainly Hold is not their choice, because the short-term waves are the time when they make the best profit.

How about you? Are you holding Bitcoin
I still holding Bitcoin after 2017, half of my income from signature campaign is for the holding balance too. I hope Bitcoin will pump after halving day.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying Bitcoin in Iran? on: January 06, 2020, 11:28:51 AM
Apparently the price has trebled on the local Bitcoins market. So is it rich people trying to preserve their wealth, or is it people using it for everyday purchases? Mohammad Reza Pourebrahimi, chairman of Iran’s economic commission, has stated that more than $2.5 billion has been transferred out of the country via Bitcoin. Will this be the primary function of Bitcoin as we creep towards World War 3?
I think Iranian scare that the economy might collapse once the war with US begin so they want to use Bitcoin instead, or might be the governments want to buy more weapons.
145  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Expresscrypto] PTCL Faucet Script (Paid To Click Shortlinks) on: January 06, 2020, 02:13:33 AM
The script doesn't work. It does not open the links that you leave ad admin. Even the ones left there as default and test do not work. When a users tried to open a link it says it cannot.

Sometimes when I do something in admin I get this.
When a user tried to click a link this happens.

Edit:

Oh I get the url api from the shortlink site.
Hi, that means the creating new link request to the shortener server is failed. It often happens if you put a wrong api format in the admin panel or the shortener doesn't support api response. The correct format should looks like this: https://clik.pw/api?api=***&url={url} where *** is your api keys and keep url={url}, do not replace it with your url.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 05, 2020, 04:51:26 PM
The rate of desperation in the cryptocurrency industry is really hitting the roof.

I decided to take this medium to enlighten users to protect themselves and their assets against a new scam in town.

A guy by name "Allen Stanley" messaged me on telegram.
He said he wants us to make money together.
I told him to go on, he said he works with Betxloot.com,a crypto betting site.

He said he could make anyone he likes to win the bet, that he can proof it if I want, but I had to create an account on the above site and bet with at least $70.

He said he would have done it himself, but the team already knew him and his wallet address, so he wanted to make another person win and share in the winning 50/50.

I told him I didn't have such money, so he insulted me, after which I told him to bring the $70 for the betting, then he will take 60% if he makes me win.

He told me to give him my username on the site, which I did, immediately he sent $70 to my dashboard.
He told me to place a bet, which I did, when the bet which lasts about 2mins was up, he made me a winner.

I won $4998, he dropped his btc address and told me to withdraw and then send his 50%, to me it was too good to be true.

So I attempted to withdraw to my btc wallet, and a message popped up, it read "because it's a new account, your assets are frozen, you will have to deposit about $100 - $170 to unfreeze your account.

When I showed him a screenshot, he pretended as though it was random, he started persuading me to deposit $100 to unfreeze the account,so I could withdraw the huge sum I had won.

I believe by now you too have come to understand that it is a scam site, Allen Stanley is working to get people deposit $100 to get a winning that is not real.

Even other members of the platform were chatting of a game that doesn't exist, making it seem like a normal activity, which we already know they are all part of this scam group.

Please do not fall for this new scam betxloot.com, they might want to entice you with huge winnings, but a they want us your btc, don't give in.
This kind of scammer is very popular to newbie, they said you get hundred dollars in some website but you need to deposit to active your account blah blah... Therefore, most of service that ask you to deposit to active account/ achive some gifts are scam!
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List Exchanges Hacked 2011 / 2019 on: January 05, 2020, 04:28:18 PM
It seems that the number of hacks increases when Bitcoin pump. Thanks to the thread, i know my favourite wallet blockchain was hacked 2 times, it makes me thinking about moving to a new wallet now.
148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying online with crypto? Its worthed? on: January 05, 2020, 03:20:25 PM
Is it worthed to Shop online with crypto instead of Fiat Currrency?

For example:  booking hotel or flight with crypto?

I often use Bitcoin to buy digital services (hosting, domain, server, ...) and it is very convenient for me because i don't have to exchange my money, just use Bitcoin for everythings.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many hours an American needs to work to earn 1 Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 03:33:45 AM
The last decade has been a tough time for many American workers, with the cost of living rising drastically while wages have largely stagnated. However, it appears that the reduced purchasing power of the US dollar (USD) could have been wholly offset had wages been paid in Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency that has appreciated by more than 2,200% since 2015.

With the average American pulling in around $28.29 per hour according to MarketWatch, it would currently take almost 257 hours to purchase a single Bitcoin (BTC) at its current value (circa. $7,315). Comparatively, somebody earning the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour would need to work just over 1,000 hours to earn a single Bitcoin.

Full News source here
(Not click campaign, just sharing information)

If you are thinking on getting a job as an American citizen and trying to achieve some FIAT for 1 Bitcoin, that's the information you are looking for Tongue

But we all know all it comes down to price fluctuations and American's market economy and many more variables so it's not something static but as mentioned an average estimation.

To put this into perspective, most Americans would need to work at least 23x longer to earn a single Bitcoin now, compared with 2015.

Have you reached something similar as working as an American citizen to buy a piece of Bitcoin (Satoshis) as for your Investment or any other related crypto involvement?
I am not an American but if you are an American and do tasks/ offers or ptc to earn Bitcoin, then you will earn much faster than others because they often offer a high earning rate for American.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Using Deep Learning For Predicting Price. [NEED HELP] on: January 04, 2020, 04:52:24 PM
Hello everyone,

Recently, I found some articles where people tried to predict prices using Deep Learning, only using data (Close Price, High Price, Low Price, Open Price, Volume) and the result was amazing :

But if also add technical indicators to training data sets and the question is what indicators or sets of indicators should I use? (except RSI and MACD).

Also a few months ago, Kaggle (a platform that hosting machine learning competitions), had competition started by Two Sigma: "Two Sigma: Using News to Predict Stock Movements" that ended also "well".

Two Sigma provided 2 data sets:

  • Market data provided by Intrinio.
  • News data provided by Thomson Reuters.

So, all competitors have trading data for their neural networks.
Source: https://www.kaggle.com/c/two-sigma-financial-news

My question may sound stupid, but what news, posts, tweets, reports mostly affect at BTC price? Because the problem right now in training data and in weight for news.

I believe, that "symbiosis" of Neural Networks trained using data from past prices moves, technical indicators, and news, will create a powerful mechanism for profitable trading.
And it would be also cool to find enthusiasts, that think the same.

Most Deep Learning models now use old data from price charts to predict the market. However, we all see how news affect on traders/ users, especially newbie. It would be great if we can use these data, it would improve the model accuracy.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and deep web on: January 04, 2020, 03:50:39 PM
Hello!

so i recently heard about the deep web, how it uses bitcoin and how the transactions made there are anonymus. to my current understanding of bitcoin every transaction is written in the blockchain and is known and can be seen by anyone. so my question is where is the anonymus transaction written? and why can't you see it?

Bitcoin transaction are visible to everyone and saved in the network. However everyone can own a wallet without providing their personal information so it is hard to track who is behind it.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: January 04, 2020, 06:45:48 AM

This chart is showing you the top 200 coins performance against bitcoin. It's clearly who is outperforming here. Bitcoin is the king of crypto. Alts got rekt specially when bitcoin made a move like Jagger on the 1st April. But that wasn't april's fools day! Or was it?

https://twitter.com/woonomic/status/1161320822344179720
Bitcoin has remained its king position for a long time because it is the most trusted cryptocurrency. I think no cryptocurrency can defeat it.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 04, 2020, 04:11:43 AM
It's now 10 years since Bitcoin was created, yet many people are wondering who Satoshi Nakamoto might be. It's still today, where the creator of Bitcoin has hidden his/her identity well from the general public. All attempts in finding who created the world's most popular cryptocurrency have failed so far. But we all know that there's no such thing as 100% anonymity. A slight error in covering tracks, could expose your identity within the mainstream world.

Now, imagine if the real Satoshi's identity is found. If he/she is still alive, governments would be on his/her tail to put him/her in jail or even pay a hefty sum of taxes. Once this happens, Bitcoin might fail within the mainstream world. Of course, the community is what makes Bitcoin great. But I'm sure that the reveal of Satoshi's identity will have an influence (either positive or negative) over the cryptocurrency's price and reputation worldwide.

What are the odds of Bitcoin's survival once Satoshi is found? Will it continue to operate as is? Or will it fail in the long run? Huh
Why satoshi has to pay a hefty sum of taxes? He doesn't own the whole 21M BTC. Many people said that he own 1M Bitcoin which can affect on Bitcoin heavily if he sold them.
154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Big invest in bitcoin on: January 03, 2020, 02:27:44 PM
I want to big invest in bitcoin. But I want to know your opinion. Is my invest will profitable at this time?
Short term investment or long term investment will best for me?
I saw bitcoin market price is some cheap at this time. So I can decide to bitcoin invest?
If you want to make a big invest, then you should investigate the market and make your own decision. It is very dangerous to jump into the market without any knowledge.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 03, 2020, 09:19:33 AM
As the state of economy does at times really influence levels of crime and social aspects in any community.

Right now under the fiat system there is a major and growing sides of rich and poor.
With many times people who are "without" getting into trouble. Such as committing crimes. Getting into substance abuse etc.

If society or at least communities are able to become more independent and based their markets all on crypto. In which they follow the principles of crypto? as in prevent inflation and create an equal or at least more fair financial market. If that was the case/

Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?

Your thoughts why or why not?
I think crypto based economy would not solve these problems. It even becomes a good environment for economic crimes. Fiat money still play an important role in our world.

Easy Tap Faucet - 3 satoshis every 30 minutes

You should increase the reward and lower the timer(might be) by adding popup or short link to earn some money. That would attract more users.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: January 02, 2020, 03:06:58 PM

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: January 02, 2020, 04:42:42 AM
You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?
If you made an investment in Bitcoin because you thought that it is alway profitable, then it is a mistake. You need to choose a right time when the price drop.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Business ideas with 60 Bitcoin? What would you do? on: January 02, 2020, 04:27:59 AM
If someone has 60 BTC can he start a decent crypto business to make passive income? Please share some business ideas.
What would you prefer? Casino/Sportsbetting/Wallet/Exchange and which has the highest earning potential?
Provided i have funds - 60BTC and no knowledge regarding business and i am not a designer but i want to start my own crypto business. Where can i start? Where can i find and hire team for myself like designers/developers etc to start my business? I know good team can help the business grow but bad team can ruin everything so what are the things to look for before starting a business? Where to get the business partners with good ideas and genuine team? Where would you start from if you are in my situation. Please share your opinions in this thread  Smiley
I think trading is the best option but it is risky, you might lose your money. You can create a service/ website where allow people to exchange Paypal/ Perfect Money with your Bitcoin.
160  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Neural Network bot/signals on: January 01, 2020, 04:18:50 PM
Hi, I'm working on a bot to trade using neural networks. It is currently in development. If you want you can see the generated signals of laterization, long or short.

It is based on train images generated every minute by looking at the BTC / USD quote. The train is run weekly. Currently the train is over 40,000 images.

It is still in full development, if you are interested in taking a look at the signals this is the link:https://vafed.it/signals.php.
I have seen many bots with DL that can predict the market signals but the accuracy is still very low. But why you use images instead of raw/json data?
