Definitely wouldn't recommend you to do this. There are a lot of exchanges and wallet that doesn't require KYC which you can use. But never ever use any information that it isn't yours whether it is your parents or friends. That will give you a hard time for sure if there will be some problems that you will encounter.

They are getting the concept wrong or they brain is getting washed up. It doesn't mean that if one project under an ICO, IEO of DeFi scammed their investor that doesn't mean the whole category of ICO, IEO and DeFi is purely scam. No amount is worth your identity. You are just selling your identity to a said amount that you can withdraw if you did the KYC. Yes some minor information can be changed but the house address on your identification documents can't be change so quickly.
It is still not advisable for us to just do KYC specially on unlicensed website. Me I never did a single KYC no matter how much money is involve in it. Its just not worth the risk for me.
