Well, it reminds me of certain paid services that help students do their homeworks, which is more like cheating to pass ones homework since the teachers may want them to learn from solving the home work problems themselves or with the help of their family, and without charge.. But the homeworks are now probably fully done by people who are more motivated by money and the students prevented from learning to solve the problems. So the teachers end up not achieving the goal for setting up the homework.
Have you wondered what the goals of the developers are, and whether they want the players to go through the challenge themselves to help them become better players and the developers could use the opportunity to discover or map out talented/skilled players worldwide? If this is close to what they want to achieve then the sellers maybe messing things up for them. .
Better to make money morally and from good business
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next bitcoin? on: October 05, 2023, 03:46:41 PM
I am a high school student. I learned about Bitcoin, but it's too late. I was so young. Because I was 4 years old in 2009. But as history tells us, bitcoin killer will emerge one day. I want to find out such coin, but I don't have enought knowledge and ability to do that.. I want to ask the smart people here. Is there a coin that is similar to Bitcoin now? something that is perfectly decentralized. I want to invest there. If there's a coin you're making, is fine too. Just let me know. I hope this post becomes a legend.

Bitcoin won't have a killer, as it's going to be used to save humanity in a chaotic future. Better to stick to it to the end.

As far as I can, there currently exist no better alternative that has been develop without compromising on the high quality standards or ideals Bitcoin is built on. The standards are necessary framework or foundation for building a very secure and safe decentralized cryptocurrency. Any cryptocurrency that bypass the standards to become advanced is guranteed to crumble when the great storm arrives.

Ofcourse, riches becomes a problem when people build it up for themselves. Resources that normally should be for many are now accumulated by one or few people to be used alone. Hugh amount of money that should be enough for many is used for worldly pleasure or spent on things for the use of one or few people.
Another problem is serving riches and trusting that it will solve all or most problems, which is the main reason people strongly desire to have it. And when they have it, problems increase and most of the riches is spent or wasted solving them. So, they have to spend most of their lives serving or chasing after riches to accumulate and waste more. And it becomes their god that fails all the time & can't satisfy their lust for pleasure.

It's much better to serve and trust the CREATOR of the Universe than riches. Doing so shrinks or eliminates your problems and you then understand you don't need too much riches for yourselves... And be more focused on using most of the riches for others in need.

When you trust and serve the CREATOR, HE strengthens the Shield around you which consequently strengthens the things in the shield and they last for you. When you serve money the shield is weakened and things in it nolonger last for you
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I choose Bitcoin on: October 04, 2023, 04:20:14 PM
I think it's OK you discouraged your partner from the fix deposit investment since his goal is for the investment to increase in value or become profitable in the future. Better he used the fund to take care of urgent needs than allow it to lose value in long-term fix deposit. Alternatively he could invest in something that can beat inflation within the period he hopes to take back the fund.
Fiats or national currencies are really not the best things to invest in long-term, as they are notorious for losing value due to inflation. And it's not really a good idea to lock in alot of money on a custodial platform even with the high interest rate it offers. It's actually a gamble or a big risk not worth taking.

Bitcoin is a great alternative since it's deflationary and allows investors to fully control or self-custody their funds. It's best to invest in Bitcoin longterm, and the right time to invest is when there are signs of potential strong price increase within the period you hope to see your investment grow to maturity.

Compilation of some of the most memorable forum writeups especially those I posted myself, both the deleted and undeleted.

Important to note that they all could be my posts alone unless I find other members posts that are similar to my views and writing patterns. I try to write my posts in ways that make them more meaningful and purposeful when read together in series or from beginning to the latest posts so that it feels like you are reading a book.
My main goal here is to summarize the forum posts in a single thread & in orderly manner while still retaining the whole meaning & purpose when read together.
I will be picking posts from the Forum Boards/Sections such as Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, Project Development, Offtopic, Serious Discussion, Etc

Memorable Reply: The love of money is the root of all evil. Don't love money at the expense of people.
Cursed money not worth it, my friend . It's going to make you lose alot, miserable, depressed, foolish, etc. Simply get yourself the Word of GOD( Matthew, Proverbs, etc) and read... Believe in it and do what it says and you will prosper.

The secret to prosperity is to sow good seed or do good work in any good business you can find, preferably business you are passionate/talented in...it doesn't matter if it's owed by others. Use the business to solve problems for others... Then, ask the CREATOR to reward you through the business or through any other means, believe HE will answer your prayers and you will be rewarded. The more you sow (or the more good work you do) the more you reap. You don't need to be employed by anyone to benefit from this. Just look for any good business and begin to contribute.
Blessings.

The most important thing that's needed for one to run a successful company is Talents(gifts, abilities, ideas, etc), Passion and Guidance from someone/people with similar abilities who have successfully build their own businesses ethically/morally.

The easiest way to ruin a talented mind is let them go through programs set by dumb people or those with unrelated abilities who typically fill large books with nonsense that takes years instead of months to go through. Better to spend that time as an apprentice under a qualified company.

Memorable Reply: Actually modern education makes people dumb, unproductive and slaves to the system's industries.
To do well, it's better to discover what you are gifted or talented in and have successful people who share similar talents to guide/refine you. But before this, consume the Word of the CREATOR of the Universe... learn basic maths, language, civics, morality, health and other necessary/important knowledge. They are what we call general knowledge for all or most people/talents.
The basic education tend to be somewhat fair, natural and useful. If you wish to go beyond the basics, look for successful people in your related field/talent and those knowledgeable in the above subjects to guide you, or get the books they have written to guide you.

What you call instinct are basically natural knowledge and talents. They are what society ought to build on and refine. Passing through modern school with high scores doesn't mean you will know how to solve world's problem properly. Infact people with great scores from such schools will need to rely on their natural knowledge to do well in society. Knowledge they obtain from the schools will certainly fail them because they are false Knowledge. The knowledge is actually light quencher capable of making smart people dumb and foolish.

There are rare cases where knowledge is "supernaturally" obtained or uploaded in a human or taught by his CREATOR in the mind and spirit. These can only be possible via contact with the CREATOR

*Memorable Reply: As a True Nomad or Bitcoin/crypto enthusiast It's important to Travel Light  in survival situation which will likely have lots of lawlessness. No need to be walking long distance with heavy equipments, drinks, foods etc. Just get yourself light-weight things to collect/produce clean water and good foods. Get list of strong, light and adjustable tools to make things like shelter, animal traps, fire, cloths, containers... things to extract raw material for making other important/necessary things like tools for farming etc. Get some books and writing materials. Then extra stuff you don't immediately need could be stored somewhere.
It's mportant to have multiple underground storages where things with long shelf life like dried foods, drugs, etc can be stored for emergencies.

147  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's get rid of all regulations, what can possibly go wrong on: October 02, 2023, 09:24:14 AM
Not a recent post but worth commenting on...
Regulation is important but it has to be according to the right rules/standards which make the regulation a Right Regulation, otherwise a regulated product would be as bad as not passing through one.
Regulation doesn't have to be done by governments, but they can inspect for compliance... You could self-regulate by following rules or standards that are of better quality than what the governments have in place and they will simply look at your work/product and be speechless. What makes them speechless is their inability to find fault or issue in your work/product.  This is why it's important to go beyond the laid down rules if you wish to self-regulate with little to no issue.

The main purpose of a just law is to guide us to do what is right, not to take away our freedom.
148  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Sidechain & Colored-coins Idea on: October 01, 2023, 05:23:59 AM
For those who may be worried about the project DAO getting hacked.

Well, it's going to be extremely unlikely as long as the principles listed above are well implemented.

What you should be worried about is people losing their Sidechain private keys or seed phrase due to not taking proper measures to keep them secured. So, it could only happen at individual level while the rest of the decentralized users who take the right security measures, for example, by using a clean/secure laptops or phones, are uneffected.
Nevertheless, to protect against individual hacks, additional security measures can be implemented on this Project, close to the DAO, which involves the use of Multisig addresses by users to reverse unauthorized transactions. For example, if a thief steals someone's private keys or seed phrase and withdraws/transfers the victim coins from DAO pool, the coins will be automatically sent to multisig address initially set up by the user, then the user or the victim is alerted to reject the transfer, or authorize/allow legitimate ones he/she freely made himself.  Once a transfer is rejected, it goes back to the DAO pool.
So, it's important that users (especially those with assets they consider big)  individually set up this extra Multisig security. It's not necessary though.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I smell fear... on: September 29, 2023, 04:37:17 PM
I saw this on twitter as made by Robert Kiyosaki and I found the idea laughable. Unfortunately I couldn't get a direct link for the screenshot so am using the information at the top of the image as my source..
........

I smell fear in this statement, fear of the government and it's co-partners about the extent of the financial freedom and privacy bitcoin has without regulatory policies handed over to people. And this freedom is looking like a threat to the government's sit of economic control creating all sorts of lies trying to deceive bitcoiners in giving out their freedom in exchange for a promising bitcoin priceless value.

We know cbdc with their inimical monetary policy control on distribution and issuance. There's no privacy in financial transactions with CDBC individuals financial details are easily accessible at anytime.

In a digital world where privacy is a key challenge having CDBC gain access and saturate the bitcoin market will only mean doom for bitcoin vision.

IMO  bitcoin doesn't have to become priceless only when cdbc enters the market, as for me bitcoin is already a priceless asset to my use I don't know about you.

The "priceless" could also mean that it becomes worthless (price-is-less = worth-less). You just have to be careful with their words.
But they are free to have CBDC. It won't stop freedom loving people from using Bitcoin. And Bitcoin will continue to increase in price and become more valuable even if a small or tiny fraction of a billion people use it the right way.

Those who don't care much about freedom will stick to centralized alternatives or things with the appearance of Bitcoin.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is possible to clone Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2023, 03:58:04 PM
You can not clone bitcoin because there is nothing there to copy, bitcoin are result of caculation on the blockchain data, to clone bitcoin you have to alter the blockchain data, and blockchain is designed in such a way that since data is stored and secured they can not be altered this is common misconception.

Ofcourse, you can create a copy of Bitcoin that contains the whole data of the original (by downloading it & choosing to become a distinct network) , even with satoshi transactions but the copy will become a different chain and incompatible with the Bitcoin chain. That's pretty much what it means to clone but it's given another name on Cryptocurrency space.
To clone mean to duplicate. You don't need to alter or change the data of something to successfully duplicate it.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversification in Global reserves. on: September 29, 2023, 09:59:47 AM
Bitcoin can comfortably serve that role, but you have to be worried about the governments feeling too entitled and wanting to control its price, development, consensus, software, etc. If they cannot do this, they will not take it very seriously.. Fortunately, it's impossible for them to control Bitcoin, as countermeasures have been put in place to prevent that. They could end up settling for centralized cryptocurrencies which will eventually end up as inflationary fiat currencies since there will always be great temptation to inflate and weaken the value of currencies they control.

Gold and Precious Metals can be better alternatives for countries with weaker currencies that want to rely less on USD or avoid it completely. They could continue to use their national currencies as Medium of Exchange between themselves while using things like Gold as Store of Value. Atleast they are national resources they have somehow been able to control their supplies and prices.

Bitcoin is special.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marathon Digital Holdings failed experiment on: September 28, 2023, 04:03:36 PM
What experiment? A real experiment isn't supposed to be done that way, on a real Network. It should have been done on a testnet or something, in a controlled or less risky manner.

Anyway, the so called experiment failed mainly due to Network consensus and rules. If he/they understood Bitcoin, they wouldn't have bordered with the so called experiment as the network is always monitored by its participants who are spread across the globe to ensure that rules are followed and things done right. If he had done that on a centralized financial system by hijacking its database which represent the node, the attack would have been successful as zero to few eyes are monitoring it. The Bitcoin model is so secure because of decentralization
153  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Green computing on: September 28, 2023, 09:51:10 AM

.......

Reversible computation requires more memory. And memory is getting cheaper and cheaper and more and more abundant. Right now, the main bottleneck to better computation is the restrictions imposed by Landauer's principle. And reversible computation is the only way to get past this bottleneck. We can always add more memory. But we cannot make atoms smaller, and we cannot change Boltzmann's constant.

.....

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.

Ofcourse, it seems the benefit of energy efficient computer outweighs the amount of memory it requires to run a reversable computation assuming you don't have to deal with another energy issue like electrical resistance which researchers on superconductivity seek to solve. Atleast, reversable computation could in theory reduce energy loss  rather than eliminate it completely
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Chase Bank New Policy On Crypto - Users Beware !!! on: September 27, 2023, 05:16:09 PM
Well, the agenda is to discourage people from using cryptocurrency as it is. They will try to give whoever tries to embrace cryptocurrency the impression that is a scam to discourage them from embracing it. Then get the governments to control it or only accept those it they can control since it is very useful .    If the one who controls the world needs to enslave people or have them depend on him,  he introduces some diseases and sell them the cure/drugs. Or fill their community with thieves and get them surveil themselves with devices they control.  This is basically how the World is made to enslave itself or lose its freedom

The scammers & fraudsters mostly attack their victims via centralized space and technology. They can be stopped but are allowed until the goal of the architect is achieved. The one who controls the world actually uses them to achieve his goal.

One of the ways the scammers (which include non-humans) attack is to monitor the online and offline world for people interested in cryptocurrency. Then they spam them with scams that can make the victims lose money. It may interest you to know that they monitor their victims through the tech built by ad companies like Google to know their interest, by for example, listening to their conversations on the internet and in real world. It's a very sophisticated surveillance system that is spread across the world. And is part of the Matrix.

In the future we hope to use decentralized solutions to minimize the issue. One the solutions is to get people transact more with reputable and/or verified anonymous users in Crypto space. It also will be possible to tag scam transactions/addresses/coins (with proofs of scams) on True Cryptocurrency like Bitcoin so people don't accept them.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Surge in Bankruptcy Filings And Economic Crisis Vs Recession Vs BTC Price on: September 26, 2023, 03:50:54 PM

........

There is data from WhaleWire regarding the surge in corporate bankruptcy filings which reached the same level as past economic crises such as the Great Recession in 2008 and the pandemic in 2020. This certainly raises concerns for the world economy.

And periods like this historically occur before significant stock market crashes. Will this affect the price of BTC too. If the entire market falls, does it rule out the possibility that there will be a sell off too? and of course BTC will also be affected?

Share your opinion

Bitcoin is nolonger tethered to such economic fundamentals. It's currently tethered to its own ideals.
People who had influence over Bitcoin in the past were the wrong kind of people who heavily depended on the centralized financial system to influence it.  When something unpleasant happened to the financial system it affected Bitcoin negatively. Things has changed for good as Bitcoin was disconnected from the bad system and connected back to its true purpose which is what will determine how well it does in the future.

A failing centralized financial system won't affect Bitcoin negatively. It's expected that people who depend on the system will move over to Bitcoin as the system fails gradually.

156  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Green computing on: September 26, 2023, 09:50:27 AM
Seems energy efficiency is not the only goal of this project but to be able to run a computation in reverse. I assume the only computation worth preserving and reversing is non garbage computation. Does  it also preserve garbage or computation that is of no value?  Won't that be a problem on scarce computer memory?
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can third-world countries counter inflation using bitcoin? on: September 25, 2023, 04:53:31 PM
The third-worlders deserve some respect. Most of them are not investing with free money. They work for it.   And they are relatively in similar economic category with first & second worlders who are categorized as middle/third class citizens, and their wealth and income are relative to prices of things in their countries. Things typically cost more in first & second world countries, they compensate that with high wages.   And what they earn from their Bitcoin investments is relative to how much they invest.

The purchasing power of those from first and second world countries only become stronger when they buy things from third world countries.

The high number of Bitcoin/crypto investors from third-world countries is mainly due to how Bitcoin/crypto is promoted or spreads there. Not necessarily due to poverty.

In regards to how they can counter inflation using Bitcoin, well, I think less spending and more investing/saving in Bitcoin could help. Too much spending or high demand with low supply can cause inflation. So, more savings and less spending should work.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 25, 2023, 10:07:10 AM
High cost of things in certain places is inevitable. The goal should be to be blessed with the wisdom to get what you need cheaply or at a very reduced price. You need to know where and how to get them. I think people who are too attached to high and attractive things will find it hard to get good quality things cheaply or at reduced prices.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 22, 2023, 02:40:16 PM
..........

I just observed a kid on Twitter doing a Bitcoin payment transaction at McDonald's, and it's amusing to see that they can do it. However, I feel bad for the kid because he spent something like 170,000 Sats or something. Its parent must have a sizable amount of Bitcoin.

But even so, I'm still in awe of how these kids were raised by their parents since even at such a young age, they are progressively learning about the idea and features of how important Bitcoin is to them. I respect parents who do an excellent job of educating their kids.

Reference: https://twitter.com/naiivememe/status/1705167273609368057

Hope they spent the satoshis on healthy stuff.
Bitcoin is too valuable to be spent on junks. The sats are better saved than spent on things that are not as valuable or profitable.
If you must spend your bitcoins spend them on things that compensate for the profits the bitcoins would have given you in the future. If you wish to spend them on foods, spend on the good ones that can make you productive enough to work sufficiently to produce things that are greater or equal to the amount of profit you would made from saving the coins. If you wish to invest the bitcoins on something else make sure the future profit from the investment is equal or greater than future profit from the bitcoins. And it's much better to spend the bitcoins in Bitcoin economy, or better still, in economy (decentralized one atleast) that uses Bitcoin as currency.
160  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Do you be in reincarnation? on: September 22, 2023, 09:39:22 AM
I was told after death people do travel to another place that they are not been known there to live before rapture. I want to know if there is any sure thing, because I don't believe in such.

After death your spirit leaves the physical body (which is not the real you) and is moved to either paradise or hell where it await judgment.

Our "incarnation" as Christians is to be born-again by Holy Spirit. Once this is done, you become a new creature and start life afresh or like a new born child till you become an adult Christian. When you die you are taken to paradise.

So this👆 is the second chance the CREATOR of the Universe is giving humanity through JESUS CHRIST. It's a Wonderful opportunity to be saved from hell.
