1401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: June 28, 2023, 08:26:37 AM
Today after reading your post I tried to play Big Bass Splash by Pragmatic again, and my aim was getting 3 scatters and see what it gives me. I did hit 3 scatters pretty soon, after like 5-6 spins, but in the end I was a bit disappointed by the results. I won $2.40 with my 10 free spins, and although it wasn't that bad, considering that the base bet was just $0.20, I must say I was expecting something better. (Unfortunately images from imgur aren't showing on bitcointalk and talkimg can’t be reached right now, so although I did make screenshots, I can't show them).

Yes, that's the most annoying side when getting free spins. many of us had high expectations when we managed to get free spins, unfortunately when it come, we only got not connected symbols. Even if 1 or 2 is connected, unfortunately only pays back less than $10 in total for a base bet under $0.5. to bet more, maybe you can get more than $10, but to reach freespins, you can spend more than 100x spins. However, this is part of the game, I have even earned $ 0 from free spins not from bonus buys.   Tongue

Yeah, but when you bet more, you lose more in the long run, and even though I'd win $12 instead of $2.40 if I bet $1 instead of $0.20, I'd spend 5 times more before hitting those 3 scatters. And since, as you rightly said, it can take more 100 spins before reaching, it can lead to substantial losses. That's why I'm trying to play slots with a lowest bet possible, $0.10 or $0.20, and normally avoid slots with a minimum bet above $0.20.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 27, 2023, 01:51:44 PM
It's often believed that men are more inclined to be risk-takers than women, not only in gambling but also in the investing world. The majority of investors are indeed men. Similarly, in gambling, it is true that most high-risk takers are men, while women tend to gamble more for entertainment purposes.

Furthermore, some women enjoy gambling even more when they are not using their own money.

Then we, as men, should learn from them, don't you think? Smiley

I personally think that there's no significant difference, especially in the countries where women have equal rights with men. Of course, in places where women have basically no rights at all you can see that all gamblers are men. And that has an impact on world statistics, by the way.

I have not seen a female gambler in my life but I heard that women are also gambling. A male gambler told me that, there is a girl in his compound that play all kind of games, plus virtual games. As for me, I will not agree with that you result because if female are playing gamble then there are some women that would also play. Women see porker game as calculative game then men would also it from that angle, porker is not a skillful game but a calculative games.

What do you mean? Isn't calculating the probabilities a skill? Isn't creating the wrong impression about your style a skill?

Just use Google before posting, mate. And then you'll learn that it's poker not porker.(You used the word two time so I guess it wasn't a typo). It has nothing to do with eating pork or something. Smiley It's an interesting game of skill. And yes, some women are very good at it.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 27, 2023, 01:15:56 PM

maybe if it was just for fun it would be better and playing a small budget at casino games is much more fun than thinking about profits because casinos can never be beaten by their customers.

If you mean by all their customers taken together, then you are right. But how does this apply to us individual players? It's a false statement that "no one can beat the casino". You know this, right? There are tons of examples of people winning huge amounts through gambling, so, I think, we shouldn't repeat this false statement over and over like a mantra. Leave it to dishonest journalists.

but what he should know is that all this is not a guarantee because in sports betting sometimes there are still surprises that make us lose.

Yes. otherwise all people would be doing nothing but sports betting, wouldn't they? Smiley
1404  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: June 27, 2023, 12:05:51 PM
~

If you're right about that, what happens is that you can't do more strategies, the game is completely round, there is no room for more, unless certain things are Reduced or increased in roulette , Numbers decrease, colors increase, but the efficiency index in roulette is quite difficult to achieve, I have read many times, and what Differs is that the players change the amount of their bets in some plays and that is what guarantees that you lose or win more, For those who increase money at the right time, it is obvious that they have a Maximum net profit If I do something like this and Pray Everything and earn more, I would Stay put and not bet more.

That's exactly what happens when you follow a strategy: you lose or win more. That's it. It totally depends on luck. So, you can follow any strategy you want if that makes your experience more entertaining, but you shouldn't think that your strategy is effective if you won couple of times following it. You were just lucky, that's all.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 27, 2023, 11:32:18 AM

The question is, what happened next? Did you withdraw the money and spend it on something useful, or you just left your winnings there to play more? Don't get me wrong, I think both options are acceptable as long as you are responsible gambler.

I am sure that money was never withdrawn and was again used to get a desired outcome. Almost all the time our greed takes over our common sense. That why we lose whatever we win and then curse our luck. When you are lucky you don't utilize that opportunity, when you run out of luck you continue to believe you are lucky, that is the life of a gambler.

You have basically described problem gamblers, not all gamblers in general. By various estimates, problem gamblers constitute about 5% of all people who gamble. If it were more than 90%, it would be fair to say "that is the life of a gambler", otherwise it's kinda not. If you have a gambling problem, you should take it seriously, and seek for professional help, because, you see, it's not normal.

Thanks, I got mostly $27000 within 3 months from 2022-02-28 to  2022-04 -1-20. Still I much say, I neither did any hard promotions nor I had any gambler circles. Sometimes luck may turn people into rich. Same had happened with me accidently.

This amount is unimaginable for most of us because we know how hard it can be to get something around $50 per month from your refs, and you are talking about $9,000 per month, roughly. I think it can be achieved only through convincing some real high rollers to register under your ref link, people that wager many millions of USD per month. Do you have such friends? Do you know them personally, or you just were so lucky that they came across your ref links?

Well, personally, with my experience playing the HI-LO game on FreeBitco, I can certainly tell you that hunting got the jackpot in that game is like embarking on a mission that you may likely not return from (mission impossible) 😂.

Since 2015 I joined the FreeBitco, I don't know, maybe I missed it but honestly, I not come across any user who testified of winning the jackpot in the hi-lo game, not on this forum, not outside this forum - but anyways, it's good that you categorically said it yourself that you are just doing it for fun, so I wish you as much fun as possible chasing shadows 😂.

For fun yes, but not without success. During my hunt for the Jackpot on FreeBitco.in I hit it two times: once the lowest one, winning 10k sats wit that, and once the second one from the bottom, which gave me 100k.

And even today I was very close to winning another 100k sats

But "close" doesn't count, right? Smiley
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: June 26, 2023, 12:19:41 PM

I've created a thread on the Scam Accusations board for wider dissemination to warn people to be careful with phishing sites.
Another phishing site found by @acroman08 bitcasino.com when clicking on the list leads to live.bitcasino.io.
The link is
Code:
bonus-bitcasino.com
It is dot com, not dot io.

Even if it is dot io, a probable legit page would be
Code:
bonus.bitcasino.io
between bonus and bitcasino.io should be a hyphen -, not a dot.

Even if it is a dot in between, you must double check with other channels of Bitcasino.io company to be sure it is not a phishing page.

Learn with Phishing Quizzes - Beginners & Experts

Bloody scammers, they will never seize to exist. Even the world's population, like 99.99% of it, will reach high moral standards, there still will be those that want take advantage of people's gullibility. We will never get rid of them. What we can do is we can ignore them. And by that I mean that when seeing "BONUS 50 USDT" not going by the link straight away. Take your time to think. Maybe, go to this thread and ask a question. Never rush into things, because that's what the scammers are counting on: you making hasty decisions.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 26, 2023, 08:45:44 AM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?

sorry I make bets for fun and not for profit
but your topic interests me a lot
how would you use AI to make bet guesses?
I don't understand which prompt you used for chatgpt and I would like to know if you used it and which one it is
maybe tell me in private if you don't want to publish it here

in case: i dont know any prompt for ask guessing bet to chatgpt

Right now you can't use ChatGPT to predict the result of the upcoming game. This is so because the AI doesn't have real-time information

But in the future, and I hope it's a near future, it will be all about the right promt. And it won't be necessary to write it each time afresh. 90% of it will be possible to use unchanged.
1412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: June 26, 2023, 08:15:05 AM

1. I see that I've lost more money than I could easily afford to lose. Just a bit more, and I stop.

2. If I win a good amount, more than 50x of my bet, I stop for the day, right away.

I agree with your first point as that can be very dangerous if people continue to go further south and the risk of addiction is exactly there. While for the second point I found it very difficult for me to just quit for 50x my bet but if your bet is big enough then I may agree with it too, personally when I play if I don't hit over x1500 my bet it is very difficult for me to stop,I do not play for x50 my bet as that is not substantial amount for me because I play with lower bets, usually the minimum one and with such bet I need at least x1500 multiplier in order to consider it a good day and a good win.

Then you are very lucky, my friend, @swogerino! 1,500x on slots is something I've never hit yet. My record on slots, I don't remember the exact number, it is above 1,000x and but below 1,100x for sure. And it was only once in my gambling career that I hit anything above 1,000x.

I have not tried slots as it is more of a luck game than a skill one. I would never try it in the future too as I am not able to control the outcome of this game. Thinking about not being able to control the outcome makes me more nervous. Rather than losing a good amount of money with slots I would prefer a lottery if it is all about chance. A lot of users of online casinos have now shifted to sports betting as it is easy to understand than poker. In the future, there might be a lot of casinos focusing on skill gambling.

Slots are absolutely, 100%, luck based. It's important to understand that before playing slots.

As for your prediction about gambling community shifting to skill gambling, I disagree. There are many millions gamblers in the world and they have different preferences in different periods of time. There will always be a demand for purely luck-based games.

Here people are getting free stuff all the time. Check out the "Games and Rounds" section. If some of them manage to make their life worse because of that, it's sad and regrettable, but it's their problem, not everyone's.

1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 25, 2023, 10:53:22 AM

Agreed. However, if Trump wins against the lawsuits made against him, I am quite certain Trump would be ahead of sleepy Joe in the polls. What the Democrats are doing to Trump, they are making him a martyr. This is the effect if they keep on persecuting him politically.

Trump's odds to become the next president are also not that far behind from Biden. I do not know how or when his case ends but if he is proven innocent and if he is allowed to run for president, it might be a landslide victory for the Donald. The Democrats should pray that hopefully he is convicted.

And if Trump is not convicted, you think he'll definitely become the next president? I don't think so. In my opinion, it is very possible that he won't be convicted in the end, but that will only slightly improve his chances. Convicted or not, people know what he did: he caused the Capitol attack.
1416  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: June 25, 2023, 10:22:09 AM
Saving 1/3 of your monthly earnings can be challenging for some people and it is easier for other people. It depends on the income levels, expenses and financial goals of individuals. If you have a low income and high expenses, saving 1/3 of your earnings may be difficult. You may have to cut down on your expenses and cut off your expenses to achieve this goal. On the other hand, if you have a high income and low expenses. saving one third of your earnings may be easy and achievable. To save one third of your earnings you need to have proper budgeting plan. You should track your expenses and income and identify areas where you can cut down your expenses. You can also consider increasing your income by taking up side hustle or investing in assets that generate passive income. Moreover, you should set realistic financial goals and prioritize them. You can allocate a portion of your savings towards emergency funds, retirement funds or investments. It's also essential to have financial cushion that can cover unexpected expenses. Saving one third of your earnings is not that hard if you have a proper budgeting plan.

That's right. Maybe saving 1/10 is more realistic for some people. If people with low income tried to save 1/3 of their monthly income, it could be painful for their families. I think we shouldn't make the current life of our close ones harder only because we want to be prepared for possible hard times ahead. Cut your expenses, but not those on the needed things. Don't make your kids eat less food, rather, cut what you spend on yourself, and try to increase your income through additional jobs.

1418  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed to a nowhere economic direction ? on: June 25, 2023, 07:59:11 AM
The global economy is increasingly difficult to predict, inflation that is happening globally makes us worry, if we only rely on current income then next month or next year we will experience difficulties, before bad things happen we have to be creative by utilizing all the potential that can become money .
Difficulties with economic development have been, are and will always be and in all countries. Trials come to the share of almost every generation and they need to be overcome. Despite this, it should be recognized that with each new generation the standard of living, and therefore the quality of life, is still improving. Therefore, I do not see any economic impasse. Hard times will pass and give way to development and prosperity, which will again be replaced by economic difficulties.

Not everyone would agree with this statement. In different countries there many people that think that there used to be better times, and in the future even worse times are coming. But agree with you, I don't think we are going towards an impasse. With some temporal fluctuations, economy has been improving and every new crisis is overcome more quickly and with fewer losses.

Since they are still up with those existing contest ideas they really see somethin good in return for doing that and for sure they can see the exposure brought up for what they do here. This is also generous act by this management to launch those contest since they are giving huge rewards to the winners and that makes their promotion more exciting since the result is exciting to wait especially it can make their gambler to do more effory so that they could win those prizes.

Yeah, all casinos of high level should be doing something like that all the time. And if they are using crypto currencies, they should be running various contests here on bitcointalk primarily. Online casinos like Roobet🦘 understand it, and that is why their business is good, they are thriving. Those who want to avoid spending money on such events, will be losers in the future, I have no doubt about that.
