1401  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 22, 2023, 01:34:25 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

You are right on your first argument that phone screens are usually very small as compared to the desktop/laptop computer screens. You will not only face difficultly gambling on them, but it won't be much fun gambling on small screens.

However, when you say that you can't trust the apps, what do you mean by this. You should not trust any third-party apps but if the gambling site has an official app you can trust on it as you would trust the gambling official website.
1402  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 22, 2023, 12:28:57 PM
Does anyone here know if Duelbits will add the Fifa Club World Cup in Morocco for betting?

The championship will start on February 1st, I've searched on soccer section but I can't find it on the website.
I suppose they will, but I need to know a bit beforehand as I am already planning my early bets for the champion.
Thanks
We believe that Duelbits will definitely add this tournament to their betting options, as it's a major event that can't be ignored. They're known for offering a wide range of soccer betting options, so it's likely that they'll have the FIFA Club World Cup available for betting soon.

We will yell a lot in this thread until they add this awesome event haha
The team will look into this but as you see it's big event for footbal fans so they will definitely be adding it with good odds on your bet but we still have few days left for the matches to start so will see if see it on duelbits sportsbook side but hope for best if you want it.

Any site which is offering betting services on sports, cannot ignore any FIFA event as there are lot people who watch and follow the tournament and most of them also bet on them.

I hope Duelbits will come up with betting option for this tournament with good odds. Also, to stand out they could start any sort of competition too like some prized for most wagering on this tournament.
1403  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Mini bull run or short Squeeze (manipulation) ? on: January 22, 2023, 05:47:47 AM
When each and every analysis was bearish on the bitcoin and everyone was expecting bitcoin to dump to 12K-14K$, the bitcoin start pumping and reached 23K in few days time.

Also, when we look at the fundamentals, they are also all bearish with events like Luna Crash, FTX Crash, Stable coins fund, Gemini and other companies' bankruptcy.

Also, we do not have any positive news about bitcoin recently, do we?

In these times, the bitcoin to pump makes me wonder whether it is due to manipulation and short squeeze to liquidate many short positions opened on bitcoin?
1404  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk as a Mobile App - Trick for iOS/iPhone on: January 22, 2023, 03:43:44 AM
The biggest problems with posting on Bitcointalk from a mobile app is dealing with quotes and multiquotes. No mobile app can help me to select parts of someone's post, copy only that, delete the rest, quickly add code for hyperlinks, images, etc.

There doesn't exist any official mobile app for bitcointalk yet and if any day, we have an official app, they will address this problem of muliti quoting over the mobile phone.
Currently we only have the option of using bitcointalk on the mobile browser or make a shortcut of it on the phone desktop as told by the OP. The experience from this function is very limited and therefore i only use phone browser for view-only purpose.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 22, 2023, 03:22:26 AM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?

It is possible for a crypto gambling platform to only accept its own token but the gambling platform must ensure that they have a strong community.  If they're just starting out, I think it is a nice idea to enable only their token for their gambling platform.  Since they need clients, it would be nonsense if they do not implement other modes of deposit aside from their own token.

They can also consider the regulatory environment since there is different regulation in a different region.  Some jurisdictions might ban cryptocurrency so implementing only your own token will not be beneficial to the gambling platform because of the existing regulation.

When you give variety of cryptocurrencies to gamble with, on the gambling site, the gamblers usually prefer it and they are not bound to use certain crypto to gamble. So, i prefer casino who support multiple currencies.

However, if the casino wants the gamblers to use only their native token they can make certain offers like if they gamble wilth gambling site token they can get certain percentage of cashback etc. In this way, people will use the native token for gambling and the utility of that token will increase too.
1406  Economy / Reputation / Re: campaign manager post counts behaviors; is this accepted? on: January 21, 2023, 05:00:14 PM
Hello all,
I want to know from people's opinion about their reaction towards a signature post.
Like for instance, you join a campaign and you are required to post about 20 or 25, but due to some reasons you decided to add additional  post to about 28 or even 29 post out of 25 required post. At last during weekly update you notice about your 5 to 10 post were disqualified.
What would be your reactions?

First of all, you are doing a good job if you are posting more than the campaign minimum requirements. This means that you are not one of those who only post for campaign and stick to the minimum.  I did not see your posts but if they are as per the campaign requirements, then you may PM the manager and ask him the reason for the rejection of posts.

By the way, the managers are the better judge and in most cases, you (the participants) are doing some mistakes which you yourself do not know  Huh
1407  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 21, 2023, 03:18:30 PM
BTC has truly spiked up real good this time since just a few weeks ago it was trading around $16k and now its trading near $23k.
I just wish that it holds the surge in price well and doesn't fall back here onward.
I am just waiting for last moment since anything can happen because of high volatility.
Will be placing my bets on the price in next 48 hours.

If bitcoin managed to stay above 22-23k in the next week, i am sure there will be a massive pump in altcoin too and i would be interest to know how FUN token behaves in this mini bull market. Today the price of FUN token is $0.0078 and it has pumped over 10% which is very good in my opinion.

We still have a little over 2 days to bet on the January bitcoin price and most people have bet on the price range between $20,001 - $22,500. I think the next range $22,501 - $25,000 seems more relevant to bet on as i think if bitcoin manages to create support, it will face a good resistance a little over 24K.
1408  Other / Meta / Re: Gambling discussion board needs a child board? on: January 20, 2023, 07:38:10 PM
Looking at the image below looks like the gambling discussion board is more on sports discussion rather than a gambling discussion instead. I don't frequently on sportsbook so I usually skip threads like these but the gambling discussion board is already full of this type of thread so there's no skipping here but a full ignore on the board.

As i see this, we have gambling board where there are ANN threads listed for different gambling sites. We can discuss all about the gambling games like slot, dice with respect to the site offering in each of those threads.
Under the gambling board we have three child boards namely Gambling discussion, Games and rounds and Investor-based games which fulfill the whole purpose of gambling.
The gambling discussion section contains mostly threads for discussion of different sports (as people usually bet on sports). I think we do not need any more child boards for gambling.
1409  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Sell your files for Bitcoins on: January 20, 2023, 07:01:55 PM
Your system scans for viruses etc and that is good but there is no grantee that we will get the product we paid for.

The note that files belong to seller, and we must trust them, makes no sense at all. Anyone can upload a fake file or nothing important at all and once we buy them , we will find out that we have been scammed.

You should provide the escrow Servies and protect the buyers interest otherwise it seems that you are only interested in the commission you get from these sales. Huh
Let's be honest. In themeforest or other marketplace how do we trust the files or products listed there? Let them do how they want to run their business. Over time depending on the service they will provide either they will flourish or they will disappear. I don't see there are anything negative to talk about them right now.

@bnbstorm for your marketing my recommendation will be Royse777 or julerz12. They are one of the few who can do your job well.

After a bit of thinking, I fully agree with you that buyers and sellers have to trust each other on such marketplaces.

By the way, i was thinking that how can the site be the escrow in this case because the site has no idea if the file sold is right or wrong. Let's suppose the escrow is provided by the site and the file provided is correct one and the buyer falsely claim that he did not get the required product and, in this case, site can't process escrow in favour of buyer. For me, escrow is not possible in such sites.
1410  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Sell your files for Bitcoins on: January 20, 2023, 04:20:15 PM
what happens if a seller provide a description and upload a wrong file/damaged or just make a scam? how it can be trusted the contents? did you plan to make escrow on transactions?
what if there are virus/trojan/malware added to these files? did you plan to scan contents uploaded?
There is a note added on bottom of each product that files belong to seller and you must trust them. We do not provide escrow services but you will get what seller uploaded after making payment. Buyer must do that on their side.

Our system scans for viruses and we keep data encrypted so our system is protected. But for buyers someone can still upload a virus protected in password protected zip files so buyer must trust the seller before buying. That's why there is no option to view all products that are uploaded on our platform. Sellers only share links with their potential buyers themselves.

Your system scans for viruses etc and that is good but there is no grantee that we will get the product we paid for.

1411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: January 18, 2023, 06:19:44 PM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑

You got this a bit wrong because there are more people doing freelancing and other skills, but they are not active on this forum. On this forum you will only find people who are dealing in crypto and doing stuff like trading.

Bear in mind that no matter you are working on any skill or doing crypto trading (which is also a skill), you will need to devote full time to it, in order to become successful.
1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused bitcoin to go up this january 2023 on: January 18, 2023, 05:26:50 PM
I see the price of bitcoin has increased, from 18000 now to 21000. and I think this is a good increase, at the beginning of 2023 and I think of course this is a sign that bitcoin will soon go to a bull market,

but I want to ask is bitcoin going to a bull run, or is it just a trap,? which later the price of bitcoin will fall again to 18000 or 17000?

Listen mate you need to understand when Bitcoins increases? Bitcoins follow the principle of supply and demand, so due to the limited supply of the coins, when the demand increases, in order to fulfil the demand the price also increases. Same thing has happened right now. If you see at any particular exchange, then there would be more buy orders than sell orders of Bitcoins. This can easily prove the situation I mentioned above. Hope we see some great positive attitude from Bitcoins, and I am sure Bitcoins won’t put down everyone’s hope.

Yes, the concept of demand and supply directs the price of bitcoin but there is fundamental news which basically drives the price of bitcoin.

For me, the CPI data is the major reason of bitcoin price rising and also that bitcoin has survived the ftx and luna crash, so now everyone thinks that the maximum bad events have happened in the crypto world and now there is only one way of bitcoin and that is to move up from here.
1413  Economy / Services / Re: POKER COURSES FOR SALE on: January 18, 2023, 04:55:37 PM
Yes, it is so. It is enough for my skill to level up using free courses. I just wanted to say that it is possible, that we can find smth interesting in paid courses.

If you find anything interesting in paid poker courses do let us know. Every information is available on internet free of cost and there is nothing special in paid courses. However, people always feel that there must be something special in the paid ones and this is the selling point for the paid courses.
By the way, Poker is so easy to understand, do we even need a course for that  Huh
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 18, 2023, 04:27:29 PM
Many people hold because so far holding has been proven to be able to provide greater returns and even holding can reduce the risk of volatility in market price movements, but this is not recommended for us to apply to all cryptocurrencies, only bitcoin is the only coin we believe can survive in a anything and even in the future it is possible that bitcoin will also have a higher value because if we see its adoption continues to increase every year, then I'm not surprised that so far many investors have continued to hold their bitcoins.

Holding is good and it is taught to us that we should hold bitcoin and never sell it. From the last two bull market and bear market, i have learnt one thing. There is no point holding in bull market. It's better to sell bitcoin near the all time high prices (after the halving) and later buy back bitcoin when prices are almost 80% down.

Also, some may argue that we do not know the exact top and exact bottom, but the solution for this is to keeping selling in parts in the bull market and keeping doing DCA in bear market.
1415  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Email received from Binance, Matter of concern ? on: January 18, 2023, 02:39:18 PM
I guess this is about Binance p2p trades but how do we know what is their source of funds? Or their country of origin to find whether they are living in restricted or supported for cryptocurrency trading. It makes sense if they terminate the accounts which are from restricted countries so others won't be worried with each trade.

This should not be related to P2P trades as P2P traders are also registered at binance and there is no way you can distrust them, especially those are doing high volume P2P trading as a business.

Since this email is explicitly send to the OP (and not a general message sends to everyone), the OP should take it seriously and ask support about what went wrong so that he can be careful in the future. Otherwise, the OP may remain ignorant, repeat the same action again and may get his account banned or frozen.
1416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: January 17, 2023, 04:51:04 PM
If I understand you correctly, you think that the promotions and bonuses that casinos give out on Black Friday are just one of the options to attract more players on this day in order for as many people as possible to play in a casino where there are sufficiently good conditions for these  promotions and bonuses.

Black Friday offers are not matchable as gambling sites won't offer such promotions throughout the year. This happens with not only gambling products but almost we get everything as enormous discount during this event.

And such players usually lose everything pretty quickly.  And this should also be taken into account when calculating the income and expenses of the casino from promotions and bonuses on Black Friday.

Yes, there is always wagering requirements with these offers and most people will not be able to cash out these bounces and end up losing money. But this is part of gambling.
1417  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 17, 2023, 04:22:20 PM
As a result, I find gambling comfortable through the browser because all kinds of opportunities are available.

Most of the apps are basically masked browsers with front-end app-like visuals, so yeah, it's basically as good as going through a regular browser.

I mostly prefer to gamble on my laptop as it is not very convenient to use a gambling site on mobile browser. Secondly, I do not use mobile apps for gambling because i fear that i could download a fake gambling app that may steal my credentials and money too.

Like we get all applications from play store. But gambling applications are not available there. There will have many restrictions. As a result, I find gambling comfortable through the browser because all kinds of opportunities are available.

I feel that google usually will not allow the gambling apps on their play store and again if we download application from untrusted sites, it can be harmful. Fortunately, gambling mobile apps are not so popular.
1418  Economy / Gambling / Re: 4CryptoBet New Online Crypto Casino and Sports Betting! on: January 17, 2023, 03:58:01 PM
Welcome 4CryptoBet here in forum ,  I like that 120% bonus for Bitcointalk users seems like you are truly targeting this huge community of gamblers.

and being new that offers casino at the same time Sports betting is something good action.
try to influence more here by conducting events as your timing is good for December , so luring players will bring best result

Do you require KYC? Why so long for payouts 1-3 days.
that is long wait as we are looking for instant payouts .

The fact that it says 1-3 days, is a bit misleading, we will adjust this content accordingly. Majority of our payouts are instant or within a span of a couple hours, each withdrawal request is reviewed. Only on unique, rare occasion does a payout take days, and that could be for a number of reasons.
If the withdrawal transaction process is larger, it must take 1-3 days. I think gamblers who have large amounts of capital will not enter your site.
Withdrawals should be made instantly, whether in large or small amounts, must be completed on the same day. If it's only 1-2 hours vulnerable, it might still be understandable, but this is 1-3 days, how can gamblers trust your site.
It's better if the development team makes more improvements in every transaction so that there is a lot of comfort and peace for every user when making withdrawal transactions.

No gambler will wait for more than a day for a withdrawal. Even if my withdrawal is late by 1 or 2 hours, i usually get upset. Gambling sites should focus on faster withdrawal and 4CryptoBet should make sure the gambler does not have to wait.

In order to protect people money, they can process small withdrawals instantly and for withdrawal of larger amounts can be processed manually but should not take longer than a couple of hours.
1419  Other / Archival / Re: Mass adoption: Naming my child bitcoin on: January 17, 2023, 03:41:04 PM
I'm a big supporter of bitcoin but I don't think that is a good idea at all.
People will just think you are crazy, and bitcoin doesn't need to have the image of its supporters being crazy.

You can go around wearing a nice bitcoin t-shirt or hat, or even a jacket with the bitcoin logo on it is a good way of engaging people in casual conversation about bitcoin.

Yes, i agree that naming children bitcoin or maybe ethereum is not a good idea.
Have you ever seen any person name like Dollar or Euro or Pound ? I haven't seen such names in my life, so how can you name a kid bitcoin  Huh
To tell you truth, once such a kid will grow up, people will make fun of him, so avoid such ridiculous names.
1420  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Argentina to Pressure Citizens on Declaring Their Crypto on: January 16, 2023, 07:06:22 PM
https://www.bitdegree.org/crypto/news/argentina-to-pressure-citizens-on-declaring-their-crypto
"As per the terms of the bill, citizens will be encouraged to declare their assets, financial assets like stocks and crypto assets. Declarations will be entirely voluntary. However, the bill also suggests that in case of a failure to declare assets and tokens may result in an investigation by the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), the nation’s tax body.

In the case of crypto assets, citizens will be asked to submit an affidavit which is a voluntary statement that can be used as evidence as it is made under oath by the law.

My first question: Is crypto legal in Argentina?  Because without legalization, the government have no rights to ask people about their crypto holding.
Also did they mention that if you hide your crypto and later you found guilty of having crypto assets, what consequences will you face?

Citizens who declare their assets and tokens on the voluntary forms would be subject to tax at a rate of 2.5% unless they aren’t high earners. According to the bill, individuals who have under $50,000 worth of assets will be charged at a lower initial rate of 1.5%. "

So, more the money you declare in voluntary forum, the lesser the tax you will have to give. However, there is some ambiguity in it. At which value of bitcoin / crypto the tax will be calculated? Suppose a person bought bitcoin at 50,000$ and now it's worth 20,000$, so he will pay tax according to the current price?
