1401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really predict Bitcoin at this time on: December 27, 2021, 10:45:54 AM
There is no one who can see the future of it. All are just speculations and predictions and it's good that it can stay that way. IMO, all I can use is my experience about it that no matter what happens it will go up as long as you just keep your Bitcoin. Who knows if in the next 5 years we will see the 6 digits that had been speculated in social media this year.
It may not be now or the next year but I am sure in my own belief that it will. The only plan I have is hoard as much as I can while it's cheap then keep it.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 27, 2021, 04:35:47 AM
^^ Yeah, the Cavs was a big surprised in the East together with the Bulls (which is leading the Pacers right now).

Cavs 7-3 on their last 10, that is impressive already. That's a huge 45 point win, with 6 players scoring 16 points or more, and everyone scored 3 points, including Tacko Fall.
And if the gossip is true about the Ben Simmons trade for a lot of Cavs players being exchanged for him, they should just ignore it.
They are a good team now and the chemistry is strong. It might ruin their high chance for the semis or even for a championship if they will insert someone who is out of sync to tbe rest of the team.
I say, just keep this roster and strengthen their skills especially their young ones. Risking something that high might jeopardize their good season.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any easier way to get coins and tokens on their day one launch? on: December 26, 2021, 06:56:34 PM
Most of the time I do this manually. You have to be on check with the project to launch and monitor it every time so you won't be late.
I don't think the likes of coinmarketcap or coingecko can help you with that since they mostly list it once they are out. Pre-sales are being done by the marketing team of the project and if you are lucky enough that they can afford to pay for advertising then you will see it even without researching.
1404  Economy / Economics / Re: Did you realize in real life how Bitcoin gave us financial freedom? on: December 26, 2021, 08:25:35 AM
Limited withdrawal per day. That's when I realized something is not right. First of all, it's your money so why do they need to limit you from getting your own money. I know about the banks investing it but providing their customers with how much they need should still be given especially if they need it badly during emergencies or occasions.
With Bitcoin there is no middleman, no one will stop you or control the numbers that you want in or out. I think that's one of the reason I switched my savings to Bitcoin.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 26, 2021, 06:32:19 AM
Utah Jazz won against the Dallas Mavericks who are hanging until the end even without Luka Doncic. Kristaps Porzingis 27 points and played for 34 minutes but he is not enough if they want a win against the 3rd seed of the West.
Warriors won against the Suns and I cannot wait to see them battle again. It's such a good entertainment whenever they meet especially CP3 and Steph.

The big news of all is the Staples Center being named Crypto.com.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNREALIZED PROFIT IS TECHNICALLY NOT YOUR MONEY on: December 25, 2021, 09:46:58 AM
Merry Christmas to you too.
I took all my profits for this year and put it all in Bitcoin while it's still cheap. Yes, some may say it is not yet profit because it is still not cash but for me it's different. As long as I can hoard more Bitcoin in every process/service that I do then I consider it a winning situation.
It may not be cash but it's an asset that most investor would look out to buy even for the next 10 years.

Didn't ride that Shiba craze but this NFT trend had done a lot of good things to me. Most of my investments where lucky enough to be double and tripled. This year is something to remember.
1407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 24, 2021, 10:14:30 AM
Since the price of all coins, including Bitcoin, has fallen for a long time, naturally it will go up again as it is a trading platform. Hopefully we will get another week this year and within this week Bitcoin will take the high position as well as get one another ATH.
For me it was not too long in its decline and only in december bitcoin experienced a slump and even then the ups and downs were not too significant and now trying to recover by redeeming $50k more means strong bitcoin will continue to move at its highest value.
I think at the end of the year in the last few years bitcoin could be even better.
We can see the market is in the green I hope this signals a rally.
If it ends this year with $55k then its a good sign. There's a possibility that we won't see that cheap $46k again. I hope.
IMO, whales took their profits for this year and as soon as it went to a lowest price they bought it back. The correction is over, the bear market is also done so I guess we all know what's next. We don't even need Elon Musk to invest in bitcoin again as the hype really never fades ever since the world knew what Bitcoin is. Time will just tell but I am positive the next year will be a good one.
1408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 24, 2021, 08:31:45 AM
It's definately falling apart.  I'm not a fan of the bubble, I got disinterested in basketball without fans.  It seems like practice without anyone in the stands.  Not that there is a perfect answer but I say they roll with the season as is and just manage.  The league will get watered down but it's way better than trying to watch bubble ball.
Me too, I lost interest in watching full games when there is no legitimate cheers inside the basketball floor. The energy is low and I'd rather watch the full highlight of the game than a silent game with just shoes screeching all over the place. And the outcome becomes different because of the less impact built by watching fans.

In the end, vaccines are not effective at all, and Irving has a point not getting himself vaccinated as the virus can still spread even if a person already gets vaccinated. I think as long as the body can endure the effect of the virus, a person is safe enough and just have to undergo the safety protocol in order not to infect people around him.
It's working but it's not 100 percent to be effective. The number of people infected is lessen but it's still there. Even if we all know they can endure it because of their physical strength, the problem is if they scatter it with other players and then to someone outside the league. That's why they are trying to control it.
So what's the point? I think they should allow Irving to play even not vaccinated.
They will allow him outside Brooklyn. His debut will be in January.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 24, 2021, 04:18:48 AM
Now I have accumulated a small amount to be able to reopen a bank account but I think that instead of opening a new bank account, it is be better to just buy and invest in bitcoin so that I can expect more profit than the traditional bank.
Who knows if this may be the best decision you ever made but in my opinion it is.
You still need bank accounts though just for a different purpose because you might need it someday. Then, save some cash instead of putting it all in one basket in BTC or in bank.
Diversify. I think wise people scatter all their assets at some point to have an option where they would pull their money whenever they are outside or inside the house. Just be careful with the volatility especially if you are in the trading business.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: December 23, 2021, 06:31:30 PM
Thank you.
That's educational and I wish more of us will be reached by this.

Questions like "Why do the world government is not talking about this or if they do, what movement is happening?" pops out of your mind whenever you see news like these. It's right there, in broad daylight.
And even with all those unlimited printing the value won't decrease in a higher scale and poor countries are still worshipping the USD. Then it became a game of put the blame on something else, like what they did with bitcoin. They never lose a reason to brought up and in the end be the cleanest of all.

https://www.nba.com/news/nets-at-blazers-game-postponed-by-nba
Luka Doncic. As soon as he was cleared to play after an injury, now he is suffering from health and safety protocol. This kid had missed a lot of games already and his road for winning the MVP race is slimming down. Another 10 days so how many games will that be.
Giannis also hit by the virus and 2 more games was postponed. Is this a sign to go back in the bubble or will they just keep on postponing games until they were all cleared?
It's a good start but everything is falling apart this mid season and we might even see a bad All Star game if this continues.
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 23, 2021, 02:24:51 PM
The presence of NFT games gives gamers hope for a good future, now gamers can earn and now there are many game communities that make me interested in investing in NFT games, some coins such as Decentraland and Sandbox experienced a significant spike so that they became the leader in the field of NFT games
Yes, ain't that better than investing time and money with nothing to give back after they close their game. That's what happened to me before. Around $4000 of money spent and all I had was fun and enemies in the virtual world. Now, I could have both fun, enemies, and a chance to be paid back with whatever I invested with. Then, there's the expectation of making more after that instead of just idling because you got your money back.

Truly, this NFT added in the gaming world made an impact to bring more players and even make it their business in this pandemic.
1413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: December 23, 2021, 12:07:39 PM
I agree with most of the names that was given by other members. Yobit, P2B, HitBtc and more.
What I don't understand is how come there are still people trading inside those exchanges without even having the knowledge of how bad they are or perhaps they are all fake accounts of the exchanges. Is that possible?
There is one name I am trying to remember but because I didn't use for a long time it's deep in my memories. I'll put it right away when it pops on my mind. Worst experience is support and I think many traders have gone with this boring path of waiting and follow ups.

1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who’s who in the gambling subforum? on: December 22, 2021, 04:58:03 PM
This is cute.  Wink
I mostly look at morvillz7z analysis in every game that he bet with and sometimes I tail it. But in the NBA discussions there are good members who are sharing every news that comes up, so our efforts in looking would be minimized. OgNasty is there for updates and lots of others that share their opinion about how a game could end up or whatever new things float.
I rarely look at the sports news anymore (NBA) because of that thread. Thanks to them.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 22, 2021, 03:53:32 PM
Lebron though seems to suffered a injury, Westbrook? he committed a lot of turnovers, Anthony gets ejected, THT like 1/10, so it was really a bad night for the Lakers and I doubt that they can overcome the Suns even before the game.

Phoenix playing good defense too and again Chris Paul showing his experience and veterans move to illicit a foul. Even if Davis is present though, I think the Suns are going to way in my book.
They are going to win it undoubtedly. There are no shooters for the Lakers except for Carmelo Anthony and he was ejected. IT has a rough night too with a bad shooting, every throw just doesn't want to sink in.
Then, Lebron James stepped on the foot of Jae Crowder while landing and it was the dagger that ended the competition. It's just Lebron who was making all the good plays while the others are just following him and with his ankle bothering him there is no way they could win it. Finally, no one can stop Ayton so it had always been an easy deuce for him. 9/11 in the paint.
1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bear market? on: December 22, 2021, 12:52:08 PM
You made a lot of money in the crypto industry without knowing when the bear market is?
It already happened and it is not over yet in my own opinion. Prices of Bitcoin and altcoins are still way cheaper than a few months ago.
If this is not yet a bear market for you then what is? 30k BTC price maybe? If you are trying to look for an entry point then this might be the best time.
No one can accurately predict the market but with how much the old coins had loss in value its safe to say this could be the cheapest we could get.
1417  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: December 22, 2021, 10:27:33 AM
Thank God I have my wife to do all those budgeting.  Cheesy I don't want the trouble listing every grocery item that she needs to buy. I just need to bring her the money and some allowance then everything will be served smoothly. We don't really spend much during the holidays. It's enough that we are together and enjoying simple food on the table.
I don't think it will scratch our cryptocurrency savings as we have cash all ready for this kind of events. Thanks for the heads up though and I agree with what you are trying to say.

1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 20, 2021, 04:20:52 PM
Thanks for the link above. Yes, I agree and wish there will be no sudden Covid problems.
Giga Chikadze had never lost his 7 previous bouts and I am betting on him with this fight. Calvin Kattar though performed well against Max Holloway showing his toughness and made it end with a unanimous decision even though he lost. But before that was 2 great fight which he had won, 1 with a knockout.
Whoever wins here gets a title shot or just one step closer to it?
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 20, 2021, 11:51:50 AM
Three games were postponed last night. But I was contented with watching the big game that was Chicago Bulls - LA Lakers. There were important missing players like Zach LaVine and Anthony Davis for both teams. We watched a great competition in this game and Bulls succeeded in beating Lakers by 115-110. They were really effective especially in the first and last quarters. We watched a great duel between DeRozan and LeBron. DeRozan ended the game by being the top scorer (38 pts) of the game and had a big role in the win. And LeBron made a great double-double having 31 pts, 14 reb, 6 ast.
Wow! Was this the first time Lebron made 30+ points in the season? It's just too awesome to see the caliber of his playing even at his age. They lose yes, but that's a win for him. Doubts are circling around about him and this kind of stats will silent those who criticize him. I am not a Lebron fan but damn this is good to see. Competitive spirit is still intact in him.

Was it 3 games or 5 games that was postponed?
https://www.nba.com/news/nba-postpones-5-upcoming-games-due-to-health-and-safety-protocols
Checked it. 5 games because they added the postponed games on Tuesday. Damn Covid.
