421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 19, 2022, 05:03:44 AM
LA Lakers won against Washington Wizards. The plan was to put the game in a blowout, rest their core players for the game tomorrow against the Phoenix Suns but the Wizards kept on fighting until the end. So close that Lebron almost lost the ball at the last possession that could've been a disaster for them to lose the game.
I doubt the spreads are covered today. Nets versus Pistons was also a tight game, the same with Nuggets versus Hornets. I think both games started with -10.5.
422  Economy / Speculation / Re: How we know btc not going to 100$ ?? on: December 17, 2022, 11:17:01 AM
It's trust or faith. All of the numbers that you said is possible to reach. Even if it's below the prediction of technical analysis, the volatility can happen at a huge scale.
But, as long as the demand is higher than those who dumps it, the chance of getting that deep is too low.
Let's say it reached $10k, there are buyers who are willing to risk at that amount expecting something greater in return because of the same mindset by other buyers.
If you are waiting though, it may take a while, or never.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 15, 2022, 10:29:48 AM
I don't give tips if I am not winning yet, especially when I am just about to start. Poker is where most tips usually happen. The attendant/dealer, if I feel like he/she is adding to my luck then he would receive a good amount after I win.
But if I do lose, I cannot afford or cannot think about giving anyone anything as my brain is only focused on how to get it back.
I have not seen an attendant in a physical slot, do they really exist? I thought they are just security for those who are trying to cheat the game.

The takeover of Bankhaus von der Heydt will see the Bitcoin Group own two banking licenses from Germany
Took the quoted sentence from the link. It's not the bank itself but the license only. It's not a bad move considering they got it for a cheap price, but the next move seems cloudy for me. What is the purpose of doing this and what is their future goals.
They must be recognized first if they will be accepting cryptocurrencies in their banks. There will be attacks that will happen and I hope they are ready for it, private banks or the government themself.
It's not the biggest news but it's good for a crypto enthusiast.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 13, 2022, 02:03:26 PM
We have Milwaukee Bucks versus Golden State Warriors later and I am sure it will be entertaining. Draymond Green is probable to play but I doubt he will miss the game. They need him on this one to defend Giannis below the rim especially with Wiggins on the bench who is still healing from his injury.
Klay Thompson should step up his game again like the one he did versus the Boston Celtics. Bake them early and get his rhythm going, Jrue Holiday will be in front of Curry and that will make it difficult for him to score.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 13, 2022, 10:38:05 AM
Well, I am a gambler since my younger years and BTC was not yet discovered by Satoshi at that time, so I am a gambler before I started investing.
Regarding the other question, I think a gamer has a higher chance to be a gambler first than a BTC investor. This is a fact, there are bets happening inside the game, you name it, CS, Dota, etc.. They put money at stake to make the game more entertaining and that's considered gambling.
Unlike an investor which have different paths to take, he can be a long-term, short-term investor, a trader, or would not just give a damn about gambling at all.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambing Halal or Haram According to Jewish Or Christian Faith? on: December 12, 2022, 03:16:11 PM
I know that this is very silly and religious question but I think that this should be Discussed.
According to me, As I am Muslim, Gambling is Haram and there are very reasons behind this. And also I do not much about another religions. But if someone has knowledge about that if Gambling is allowed or prohibited in Jewish or Christ Faith. And I think many people have many mind sets.
I do not want to hurt someone's feeling by talking about Religious Comments.

It's a good question so I won't worry about hurting feelings here. Some people are curious about their religions so asking is the only way to know it.
I don't think it's forbidden in the Christian religion, I am a Christ believer, but I have never read something about gambling in the Bible.
But there something about love of money, that we should think about and it's not just on gambling but in any businesses.
For some reason I don't see many people who doesn't care about money in this era anymore. So, I guess, we are already sinners just because of that, it makes you forget there's a God watching you.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Scam History in the Cryptocurrency on: December 12, 2022, 02:15:16 PM
I think I should be thankful that I have not bumped into these coins while looking for something to invest with in the altcoin section.
It sucks to see they just won't stop even until now, and the worst thing is there are still investors being sucked at this big pile of shitty business.
All we could do now is protect ourselves.
This forum really helps a lot to avoid such things and also to dissect one project once it's shared here.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 12, 2022, 05:24:27 AM
The energy between Westbrook and LeBron today is very good. Westbrook is making great assists, both to LeBron and AD. Lonnie Walker also contributed significant points by scoring a good percentage. The lack of experience and leading players is evident in Detroit. Bojan Bogdanovic alone carries the team on his back. Jaden Ivey is willing but can't get play the balls right. Despite all this, the difference is still very close. There is no Cunningham, but it wouldn't have changed much had he been. Detroit is holding up well, but the Lakers haven't lost much of the lead. Antony Davis still find easy buckets.
Apparently, Lakers is progressing
For the last few days, it looks like the Lakers are consistently winning.
Even coming back from injury, AD scored 34 points, 15 rebounds.
I confess, Walker is being a supporting player and helping the Lakers, because lately he has been standing out, and that is good for the Lakers.
The same with Reaves, he is also stepping up his game although it cannot be seen in the stats. He is always there to defend, start a transition play or a fast break and to put more spacing in the floor as he is also a threat outside and we have seen it tonight putting a dagger to end the Pistons hope of getting back on a 1 possession game.
Anthony Davis is their main core now, without him this Lakers team will have a hard time to win unless they can step up their game more.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever tried Anti Martingale Strategy? on: December 11, 2022, 03:09:14 PM
Never tried it even when back then when I was playing dice. Martingale was already risky for me and with your explanation of how anti-martingale works it sounds riskier than the original. If by some chance or bad luck comes you will just be winning all the halved opportunities, then losing at the full bet.
That will be a faster rekt and there will be times it could be confusing.
The other weak side of this is, if you break the discipline and try to chase your losses.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Islamic" -by Economist Bruce Fenton on: December 11, 2022, 02:45:10 PM
It's Islamic, it's Christian, it's Buddhists, and so on. Bitcoin is for everyone. They can claim it is for them and yet they cannot literally claim it.
I think the only point of what he said is to pull more investors in the Islamic regions all over the world. It's not a bad idea or a bad strategy, maybe it will be successful but who knows.
Although, it will be better if they will be fed by correct information about Bitcoin and not about the religion only.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 10, 2022, 03:10:36 PM
Could've been one of the greatest come back if they have won it, unfortunately they're still a team that's still struggling how to close out the game. Though there are improvements, but I hope they'll finally figure it out.
Their top priority this season should enter the 2023 playoffs, i believe they're a much stronger team in a 7 game series, than in a regular season games.
One thing to consider to achieve this is to keep AD healthy all throughout the season, otherwise they'll end up missing the playoffs again.
It sure is, Harden made sure that won't happen. He went berserk at overtime and did it all. I think he made 9 of those 13 points in overtime.

Keep AD healthy, that is their key to win every game. Rest him if they think their opponent can be handled by the other players.
Make him the VIP of the team as it is a fact that he is the only one who could bring them more wins than any players. Yes, that includes Lebron and Westbrook.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT ?? What do you think about it ? ? ? on: December 10, 2022, 12:40:33 PM
There's more to NFT's. It should not just be random drawings, paintings, or unique photos. I have seen NFT's with real usage, like items in games which could make you faster to mine the coin that could truly be sold for cash.
IMO, it's better that way, an item for grinding, a premium one that can be bought for cash but can also be used to get the ROI back. Not just in games but in other applications too.
It should not be just for buy and sell like what they do with arts.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 09, 2022, 05:08:32 PM
Honestly Jerami Grant wasn't very focused on Jamal Murray, when Jamal Murray made the move he was going to the right if he hadn't followed that move and stayed static in the same position he would have managed to make Jamal Murray miss the 3 points, but Jerami Grant fell into the murray trap and with that it was too late to prevent the ball from being released and the Blazers lost the game, in a game in which the Blazers were very well in the first part of the game that even looked like they they would win this game with only minor difficulties, but in the second half they dropped a lot in performance, in the third half they improved in performance, and in the last half it was very disputed and they had the bad luck to lose just near the end of the game
Dame got hot, that's a fact. But Murray got hot too in the 4th quarter. Fact: Murray only had 4 points in 3 quarters. It's only the 4th quarter where he felt the zone is in him. What triggered it? Technicals, defensive 3 seconds. He made all those free throws that kept him going and suddenly he changed.
He got his rhythm. Blazers was focused on Jokic and they forgot about Murray.
Honestly, I thought Jokic will be the one to take the unrealistic shot but I was surprised about his unselfishness, and he gave it to Murray.
Almost like telling Murray to redeem himself and he did.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 09, 2022, 12:05:53 PM
I'd rather invest it with Bitcoin. It's a sitting duck in bank savings, 3% annually is not much of a money considering they are using your own money to be invested in different funds. Why not do it yourself instead so that you will be the one profiting and not them. This is my mistake before as I thought the bank will somehow pay your loyalty to them, but it's not going to happen. Business is business and we should think the same as them.
Investing is a risk but it can be rewarding if you know what you are supposed to do.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 08, 2022, 02:11:06 PM
It was very enjoyable to watch the fight between Doncic and Jokic. It was very difficult to know who would win the game until the last seconds and Dallas managed to win the game by 1 point at the end. We can say that the star of the match was Tim Hardaway, the points he scored were very important.
The fact that all the winning teams scored 116 points in the last matches is also an interesting statistic Smiley
I was screaming my lungs on that game. But the mojo of Jokic was not at the best. There are some good assists but that is not what I am used at. 19 points 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. Luka had a better game that night with a triple double.
We all see Davis' past performances, he really lifting the Lakers not just with his offense but his presence inside gives them a
good interior defender and rebounder.

Without Davis, the chance of winning is slim. LeBron is no longer the same type of star player who can really dominate. He was
past on his prime, he can help but in terms of carrying the whole loads,

it will be tough now for him to takeover and win against those teams who are composed of complete packages.
This is the sad truth and I think the Lakers knows this. If they want to win badly on their next games without AD they may want their skills up by one more notch. Lesser turnovers, perfection in every play written by their coach, avoiding selfish desires whenever they make runs, just be disciplined in working two points instead of forcing a three.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you pass stakes proof of income verfiication? on: December 08, 2022, 08:26:49 AM
the poll is to check if real gamblers can pass the proof of income at stake and other casino's
here is the requirements:
https://help.stake.com/en/articles/5328395-acceptable-documents-for-source-of-funds
winning funds from another casino is not acceptable
The salary option to pass the proof of income verification might be the simplest on those listed. That's if you have a job on a company. But I have experienced flexible KYC companies that accepts proof of income from freelancers too, like me. All they need are paperworks, withdrawal amounts, anything near on how you made that money as long as it's legal.
It's a very different world now and lots of people are doing their own small business.
IMO, this is just formality, they don't want to be messing around and them being punished when proven about money laundering.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram plans own wallet and exchange on: December 08, 2022, 04:08:56 AM
Perhaps they should focus more on their application first. Clean it up. Because there's so much scam groups lurking in there and uncontrollable.
Before I have been using Telegram but ever since I saw a lot of dirty things happening there, I switched to Discord. Much cleaner, organized, features are better.
How can you trust some company that cannot even clean their own backyard to keep your cryptocurrencies if ever they are sure on creating an exchange?
I have high doubts about this.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say. Bitcoins, not "cryptos" on: December 07, 2022, 04:24:37 PM
I found one post earlier from a higher rank that it should not be called an "investment" anymore. I don't know what's the reason, but I do agree with it.
Sorry I cannot find his/her post anymore. (I am used to just browsing this forum and reading.)
The thing about it is, I am a supporter of Bitcoin no matter what happens. If it goes down, then it becomes an opportunity, if it goes up, then thank God the demand is higher again.
It became a hobby to just buy it whenever I can at a reasonable price. Is it still an investment? For me it became a natural reaction to buy it when most buyers are in doubt.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 07, 2022, 03:36:06 PM
Orlando Magic - Los Angeles Clippers

Orlando Magic are not doing well at all, they only have 5 wins and 20 losses, everything gets worse because they come from a 9-loss streak and only had 1 win in the last 10 games, without a doubt that coach Jamahl Mosley must not be sleeping well, while the Clippers come to this game with 14 wins and 11 losses, and in their last 10 games they have won 4 losses and 6 wins, and a much better result compared to the Orlando Magic, but the Orlando Magic will be playing at home so that can be an advantage for them, although the bookmakers are giving a good advantage to the Clippers, I still think it will be a balanced game
With Kawhi at the starting lineup tonight I think that Clippers has more chances of winning even though he might have limited minutes. I think it's a no-brainer to root for Clippers to win this game even if they are away. No, I don't think it will be balanced at all when PG and Kawhi is on the court.
Every game he played the winning chance is always higher. Why? It's actually simple and it's not always in the stat sheet. He can do offense and he can do defense. Specially defense where you tap the ball and someone gets it, it won't add as a steal in your stat but will be given to the one who claimed the ball.
Clippers will win that a 95 percent chance. Magic have the firepower but Clippers has many players to counter that.
