Im still going to stick with centralized exchanges until this gets developed a bit more and has a larger user base, yes you take a risk with a central figure, but if you can't sell your shares when your expecting a price crash isn't that about the same thing (with a decentral figure with low volume) Hopefully counterparty grows and keeps developing  |

I think Havelock is a trustable exchange. Use a bit of common sense and only purchase shares in reputable business's, unless your willing to throw a crapshoot  |

Did you really spend ~$4000 without looking to see if you would break even? The going price has been significantly less than that for a while, you can get an efficient 1TH miner for less than $2300 from the manufactures at this point, and under $1500 in auctions. |

Anyone investing in this is stupid. Can get better deals for the exact same thing with both PETA & PBMINING, and your wrong, you can sell PBMINING contracts. If you want to offer an IPO on a mine, you should already have a mine in place, not start from scratch with investors funds |

Klye made his weekly payment on Sunday so it all depends if that trend continues or not. Assuming his talent shows up and continues what they've been doing for the last month then there will be money coming in. It's up to Klye to step up his game and grow his business. The business wasn't a scam, he just did what he did but AFAIK there's still a product being sold. We shall see. Business not a scam, but money raised was supposed to grow business. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he shat on it, he should have purchased everything outlined in the IPO the day he received funding. Nothing mentioned is that hard to find |

Its a terrible format for investors, can't see any information on assets other than last bid / sell price (No orderbook!). Currently its worse than BitcoinBourse. And thats saying a lot. Has great potential, but I won't be using it the way it looks. How are you supposed to be able to do due diligence with 0 information!
How are you supposed to do due diligence with bitcoin with 0 information? you can give your 0.5btc to some guy named TradeFortress who tells you he'll keep it very safe in his online vault but might regret it later Making an exchange decentralised doesn't eradicate the need for taking care with picking assets. You can't rely on the protocol for that. Issuer can fill a description of their asset: IE http://www.blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=MPTSTOCKor they can stick in enhanced description and link to that. Investors need to decide whether they trust the issuer, just like you need to decide whether you trust whoever you send BTC too because you can't call up Bitcoin customer services and request a chargeback. From counterparty, BTC (or whatever other unit) get's sent between investors and issuers without 3rd party stepping in- it's like glorified direct shares on distributed excel ledger. In some cases tx are escrowed by protocol, in other cases it's direct. It's not controlled by a third party though so you don't have to 'request withdrawals'. millions of dollars stolen by gox and it took till 2014 until they closed down, millions of dollars stolen by cryptostocks, and yet they are still active. Most of these frauds came from trusting third party to amass large amounts of bitcoin in wallets that they control private keys too. That was never the way bitcoin was supposed to be. In counterparty your keys are under your possession. If one counterwallet node was shut down, you wouldn't have to worry. Therefore the problems we've seen with GLBSE, BTCT.CO, Bitfunder etc aren't applicable. As of yet a WoT hasn't been integrated, butyou can import an existing key with established history to prove trust if you were thinking of listing there, or leave a signed message when creating an asset. Perhaps an independent ratings agency may come up up in the future. Orderbooks are visible both via external sites and on the main counterwallet site itself. Every order is transparent. Technologies to build upon this process like Vennd (which can act as Gateway, vending machine,bidirectional router- issuing stock for BTC automatically) will make XCP increasingly attractive, comparing it to bitcoinbourse is not right I am fully aware of the benefits of a decentralized exchange. However, when I log into counterwallet.co, you cannot tell any information about the business's listed / no orderbook. This blockscan site is not mentioned anywhere, and appears to be loaded with a bunch of holder assets just reserving the names. |

PBMINING: .0041 BTC per 1 GH YOUR PRICE: .0042 BTC per 1 GH Whats to stop you from just purchasing PBMINING (WHERE YOU PAY 0 ELECTRICITY COSTS), giving your self the 10% bonus from the referral, and keeping us out to dry by charging 20 cents per 1 GH every month? Sounds like a nice way to give your self 100 TH in free mining power + $200 a month for "electricity", not to mention any other "maintenance" fee's you decide to tick on. Im still amazed people buy into these mines to begin with, cheaper to go with cloud mining where you get 100% of revenue |
