I would stay away from this. From flippa: "HitPxl becomes quickly one of most popular sites in Bitcoin world and people visiting out site every day"

Strange considering that I don't know a single person in the space that has even heard of your site (I asked people). Have a feeling this won't go well for the buyer.

Exactly.
And nobody sells a 4k$ income. You can put someone to manage it. You'll still get the profit...

Or if you want to sell it you ask at least 50k$, you don't accept prices like 5k$...

Yeah but @donaldbitcoin could have the RESERVE set at $500,000 for all we know.

So he gets this site some additional exposure for the price of the flippa listing fee, and a chance to score a lottery priced sale in the process.

It's actually a smart move from a "marketing" standpoint as well. Even MORE people now know about the site because of this flippa auction and who knows how much ADDITIONAL Adsense revenue he has picked up from just posting this site for sale. Well played @donaldbitcoin Well Played! :-)

BUT... Something about the site stats doesn't quite add up IMO, and the buyer could wind up having some serious "buyer remorse" :-)

What doesn't add up is how quickly he got to his user base. Its pretty common for people to make trashy sites like this, pump up the stats then ditch it on a unsuspecting buyer.
483  Economy / Securities / Re: What is the best storage place for bitcoin? on: April 04, 2016, 01:42:49 PM
Depends on how you use your BTC. I wouldn't keep it on your phone, if you lose your phone you lose your BTC.

If you do a lot of transactions, you should use a online wallet for a portion of your funds (Blockchain, MoneyPot, Xapo etc), and you should use a paper wallet / trezor for the majority of your BTC.

Nico, thanks for the quick reply.

I have a question regarding the Moneypot network.

Their app listed on the site BetterBets.io is provably fair. Does that mean the rest of their apps are also provably fair?

Thanks.

Hi Sora Aoi,

All games on MoneyPot's network are provably fair. You can read the documentation on that here:

Hey guys, posting an update here to let everyone know the referral system is enabled. After logging in you can click your Account profile and then click on the Referral button which will take you to the page detailing the information about your referral link and stats.

Also in news, we're working on a faucet system that will work very similarly to how DGB's faucet works. We will be able to track a users games on Steam and offer rewards as they play CS:GO and Dota 2. At this time, we do not have plans to integrate a faucet for League of Legends but it as well as other games are currently in discussion. We are aiming to have the faucet live within the upcoming week.

Lastly, we know that the NHL Playoffs are coming up and we're excited for them. In the next few days we will release Sports Betting on NHL to celebrate completion of our sale and the playoffs!

Thanks for your continued support and remember the only sure bet is GameBet!

Lol, this site is making like what, $10 a week and people are putting a $1MM valuation on it? Ridiculous.

i think ur crazy. i think they make way more then 10$ a week. have you been seeing the prize pools?

Than let them tell what total revenue they are doing every week / month Smiley

We're still in the investment phase and haven't even been running for a month, it's unreasonable to judge profitability this early on. No gambling based operation starts to propser overnight.

will this have a hard time getting listed on bittrex? they used to have a rule of not listing coins that offered shares of a company that paid out dividends. Im sure it can make it on c-cex and yobit. etc though..

We're currentlty not in discussion with Bittrex, however we are talking to the small exchanges (C-Cex, YoBit, Bluetrade ect.) and intend to also get listed on Poloniex as well.

Its not unreasonable to judge your site if your looking to value it at $1MM, you have nothing of substance to back it up.

SS: 222.2711146 (Excluding House)"

This is atrocious (more so seeing that this is for an entire WEEK of action, not even just a bad day). They made $170... Assuming they continue that pace, investors will make a whopping $884 in a year. Anyone buying into this trash is a fool and deserves to part with their money.

I don't get how you assume these stats are going to hold...
They said there was no marketing, they specifically said it was a beta test and if you look at any other gambling site,
you can see holding true to those numbers is not really possible.

It takes time for any gambling system to gain users, but once they reach the tipping point and explode everything changes.
Do some research into gambling systems before you just decide this isn't worth it, after all I invested and I rarely invest.

People get too cocky about a few stats without doing any market research, I saw the research this group did and
decided to conduct my own. They seemed to have pulled stats directly from the official sources.

I actually know gambling systems extremely well. $1200 volume is literally nothing. Its not even an argument. You don't need paid marketing to build a user base. For those that still believe in this extremely overpriced site, who is willing to take a straight up wager on how successful this site will be?

I might take that bet, lay out some terms via pm if you want to work something out

I may be interested too. What are the terms?

Bet: That Gamebet.gg investors will not break even within 12 months of the bet start.

How does 1 BTC, 1:1 payout (i.e. you also put up a BTC) sound?

489  Economy / Securities / Re: Whats the best way to pitch an investment here? on: April 01, 2016, 08:26:38 PM
The investors would have to be in the wine industry, would they not?  I can't just go reselling wine without first jumping through a lot of hurdles.

Also, I am from the U.S.  I would imagine that shipping wine to me would eat up any profits, and it would require even more hurdles to jump.

If you are going to start with planting the vines, that will take at least 5 years for the yields to mature.  Add a couple more years to produce the right vintage.  This sounds like a long-term investment to me.

Why are you looking for investors on a bitcoin site and not a wine site?

I'm not trying to knock your idea down, I am just thinking like a potential investor.  I hope your business plan accounts for questions like these.

Good luck!

Current viticulture technology ensures you are up and running within two years. First year gets you approximately half the yield, second about two thirds and then its full production onward. Good questions there, will include them in my pitch.

Why here? Because am a believer. This is disruption on very many levels. This is a unique market which will definitely expand to touch very many areas of life and society. So yeah, I'd really like to eat into the wine industry and market, this ecosystem provides a unique vehicle for that.

Thanks for the mind share.

If a local producer is producing a high quality product, why would he switch to your grapes? By switching what grapes he uses, he would be risking his entire reputation.

How much money would this require to get started? Getting paid in wine (which, no offense, would likely be $5 bucks a bottle) a few years down the line isn't the return the vast majority of people are looking for.

My vines will be supplied by the same producer, plus there's more varieties coming from the same vintner so that is covered.

There seems to be an invisible wall designed to keep out new wineries from hitting the global market, yes 5$ a bottle is alright, but I'm trying for 3$ or less for a 500ml portion. Bottle technology is a-changing, and the ways in which wine can be kept and transported is changing too.

Anyway, back to crunching and verifying these numbers... They truly are hard numbers.

So someone should invest money in this, and a year or two later they might get a bunch of cheap wine (thats not even worth paying the shipping costs for)?

https://moneypot.com is the most versatile wallet
Wait, moneypot can be considered as online wallet ?
I thought they were just a group of gambling websites placed into one using their API Huh

Another vote for blockchain, but really having a local wallet is the better option.  I wouldn't trust long term storage on large amounts to any online wallet.
Agree, if you want to store a little bit amount of coins for everyday spending, then online wallet is your choice
though, i wouldn't recommend blockchain wallet for that matter Roll Eyes
Even though i use desktop wallet I gotta say Xapo has a great benefit for online wallet users out there Wink

MoneyPot is an online wallet, it also provides an API service to casinos

495  Economy / Securities / Re: In what should i invest and can i make money? on: April 01, 2016, 01:43:52 PM
You should only invest money you can afford to lose, like 5-10% of your earnings.
Never follow high risk/high yield promises, mostly (99.99% of the time) are scams; remember sometimes in business slow and steady wins the race.

You should invest much more than 5-10% of your earnings, you should be investing as much as your budget allows. You shouldn't have more than 5-10% of your net worth in crypto-currencies though, the majority of your investments should be fiat.

So you plan on setting the whole thing up and make at least 300% profit in 2 months? Seems legit and sustainable.(we're also dealing with narcotics so definitely seems legal as well)
Is that 1800% yearly yield that you're promising me? How do I sign up? I'd like to take the full package.

If you finish your online pharmacy be sure to advertise your site here

Alprazolam is actually a benzodiazepine and highly regulated (Schedule 4). There is no possible way this is even close to being legal.

+1

Not to mention pharmacies would never buy from some random guy off the street.

Nice set of coins! You would have better luck selling them on eBay, there's not many coin collectors in the Bitcoin community (yet at least), mainly just people interested in bullion.

Goodluck selling
