Nice to see some powerful people coming in support of Bitcoin once again. Looks like the next bull run is near.

How do you think that the president of Argentina is a powerful person? I would consider if a president of a rich county supports bitcoin.
Argentina GDP is 25,882$ and as it is a developing country.

Anyhow, the only way to compete with the developed world, the developing countries should support bitcoin and allow bitcoin as a legal payment method. Only this way, they can grow their economies and prosper quickly.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 09, 2023, 02:03:58 PM
Gambling is now a way to earn money and most people are beginning to take betting as a means of income, those with good skills in odds calculation and accumulation are constantly winning and making profits from their activities but then not every day is a lucky day, some days there may not make any profit in fact there may even incur loses.

Tell me any skilled gambler who is constantly able to win the bets or gambling games? I guess the answer will be no one, as gambling does not grantee you any income, it is just a game of luck. You cannot be dependent on gambling to earn you a living. Yeah, sometimes you can win jack pots and change your life with gambling but that does not happen with everyone.

Majority of the people will lose in gambling. The best way to go about it is to gamble with extra money and you should have some other reliable source of earning.
1443  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chipmixer phishing site chipmixer.xyz is showing no-1 position on google search on: January 08, 2023, 06:23:11 PM
As always hackers always try to make a clone (phishing) of the most famous sites to steal people's money. One of them chip mixer. As always I search the word chipmixer on google to see the result of the search (so that I can warn people here). So I did it today also. But the result was not good enough. A domain with .xyz is showing on the top of the google page.

Domain link:

Code:
chipmixer. xyz

Another strange thing is that when you search chipmixer, the first search result shows a scam site (.XYZ) and the next few link points to bitcointalk and other review sites. I did not find the real chip mixer site on the first few search results sites by google. That is indeed strange.

Secondly what i notice that usually scams clone sites appear in the ads search, but this time it is showing scam chip mixer not as an ad, but as a real site. How is that possible? Does it mean that the scam site has done a better SEO to be on the top?
1444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 08, 2023, 03:51:57 PM
This time is not really the best time someone can sell it property because of investing with Bitcoin, because right now Bitcoin have not being doing good for the investment, but it's nice a idea for someone to sell it motorcycle to by Bitcoin, but it's okay to do so when you that the motorcycle is not something you know that is giving you or contributing for your daily income, so therefore that daily income is something you will consider first not to sell your motorcycle because is not increasing.
Bitcoin is not doing good at this time and it doesn't refer that it will not shine in future. We know what is Bitcoin actually is and we have to wait by investing on it. It's really tough to get profit within short possible of time. Selling property and investment on Bitcoin is okay, I think. It's time to buy as price is not so high and I hope price will start to rise again.

Bitcoin price falling doesn't mean bitcoin is underperforming, price drop is part of the market, this is normal, and we can't expect bitcoin to just rise without falling. Many long-term investors who expect a bear market will buy cheap bitcoin and wait for the market to recover to sell for a profit. I am puzzled as to why he would suggest that OP should not invest at this time, when this is the best time to buy bitcoins. I don't know if bitcoin will recover soon, but I'm pretty sure bitcoin will recover in the future.

This bear market is good for those who want to buy bitcoins at cheap. This is indeed a best time to buy bitcoin and accumulate it for the next bull season.
Other people who sold bitcoin at high prices, they are also very interest in this bear season as they can buy back bitcoin again and make themselves ready for the bull market in one or two years' time.

Also, all the old investors know about the different cycles of the market, and they know it is normal to have a bear season. Only the new investors or new retailers are afraid of this market.
1445  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I become a Campaign Manager? on: January 08, 2023, 02:13:49 PM
What Qualities Should a Bounty Campaign Manager Possess? I have a lot of interest to become a Bounty Campaign Manager.
How do I become a Bounty Campaign Manager?

I hope you know how to handle spreadsheets, how to count post and all such stuff which bounty managers do. You can see few spreadsheets from different bounty managers on their threads and get a know how of them.

Who will give me the project?

For sure, you will have to find the projects yourself. First try to develop a portfolio of bounty and project management and try to get projects by directly contacting different crypto projects and asking them to advertise their services on bitcointalk. Initially you may find it difficult to get customers but once you are established and trusted, you will be able to grow your services.

Anyways as with other jobs and services, you need to work hard, and it is no way an easy work.
1446  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 08, 2023, 01:45:22 PM
I want to add PrimeDice, FortuneJack, Freebitco.in, Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io, because those are definitely great online casinos and they are safe too.

But I would like to warn the OP that choosing an honest and safe to play platform is not enough to be assured that you will not lose a huge amount of money to gambling. Yes, first of all you should choose a trustworthy platform, but in addition to this you should never risk more money than you can afford to lose.
Not that bad of addition, I tried most of these casinos in the past too and didn't even have any issue playing with them, no hassles whatsoever. It's always been the same notion that keeps being repeated and I hope newbies try to keep that in mind first rather than just rushing on things like blind gambling without thinking the risks involved.
Gambling is already risky but a lot of people make it even more risky because they play on any random casinos without checking their reputation first and then these people are completely new in gambling not unlike to us experienced gamblers who equipped ourselves first with some strategies before we go inside the gambling arena.
~

Gambling is risky, but playing(and especially depositing your money) on a random platform is not "risky", it's stupid. Everything is arranged in such a way that if you can find no reviews about an online casino, it's almost guaranteed they will scam you. It's like playing a lottery, only there's no jackpot as we know it. The jackpot in that case is the site turned out to be honest. I don't know why anyone should play this game.
no casino site is fully trusted And gambling sites as well as all types of casino games are high risk. But when it comes to new casinos there are more risks. So gambling must be done with risk.  There is no gambling without risk. But gambling in an old and popular casino is somewhat safer from the site's point of view as there is no problem in withdrawing even if you win a huge amount.

How can you say that no casino sites are fully trusted? There are many trusted and good sites where gamblers can play and assured that the games are probably fair and they will get the money which they won.

Yes, Gambling does not grantee that you will win the game and gamblers know about this. The last thing they want is to play at scam platforms where they won but denied their winnings by those platforms.

All you need to do is buy FUN tokens and hold them in your FreeBitco.in account to get the benefits. The longer you hold the tokens, the greater the benefits will be!

But if you decide to lock the tokens, you will also have the opportunity to earn up to 25% annual interest on them. However, you will not lose any of the benefits that come with Premium Membership!
I think at that point locking is smarter thing to do. I try to do it because not only you are getting the benefits like unlocked people do, but you are also getting more so that means it's growing and you would get more benefits because you are doing better as well. All in all having more, and given free money is always better option to me.

Looking at the current situation I am doing fine and I am not planning on doing any unlocking anytime soon, well aside from arranging some stuff. It gives me a great deal of returns in the long run this way, plus we are in bear market, so no reason to sell now, gonna hold it until bull run at the very least, probably more.
Fun token is among the altcoins I've been debating whether to buy and hodl or not, considering the fact the token is really cheap right now at its current price of $0.006, makes me really hungry to buy it,
But am not really a fan of buying a token and staking it for reward alone, I always like to know what other usecases is attached to the altcoin, a token with out any tangible or significant usecase that's outside staking will just keep doing down in price over time.

So aside the staking and other casino benefits holding Fun token offers, it would really be interesting to know what plans Freebitco have for their token in the future, I think this will encourage more investors to come in.

You already said that this token is at its very low price. This means that even if you do not stake it or the company does not offer anything for holding it, with the passage of time you will see its price rise and that will be your profit.

Fun Token all time high was $0.19 which means it is almost 96% down from its all time high price. We can expect Fun token to reach its all time high price in next bull run and therefore your portfolio value held in Fun token may increase by 100% or even more.
1448  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk forum mobile app on: January 07, 2023, 07:19:46 PM
A Bitcointalk forum mobile application should be created, what do you think?
If this app is put on the app store or playstore, we could be onboarding more members onto the forum which could indirectly benefit the crypto ecosystem but like any other big forum name out there... It's best to keep it as is.

Btw a web based app wouldn't be a bad idea as this wouldn't be any different from what we have here but having to build a app that needs a database and the alike would be big no as this would make it a target for possible data breaches.

This is just my opinion, why make bitcointalk apps in the play store if we can use bitcointalk for browsing even if we use a mobile phone, it can also be setup in a desktop-style even though the monitor is small and that's all. different.

So it seems like it will just be old for me, even if there are bitcointalk apps, I won't use them. Then it's still better for me to use Bitcointalk using a laptop or desktop. Although, mobile is also good for those who don't have desktops and laptops via browsing but not apps.

Well, in short it is better to have bitcointalk mobile app, rather not having any app at all.

I understand that easiest and best way is to use it on your computer/ PC / Laptop, but we are not always in front of our computer. With mobile app, we can also stay in touch with bitcointalk on the mobile. Also, the browser on the mobile can fulfill the same purpose, but a app would be a better option.
1449  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2023, 06:55:15 PM
All I can say is do not try to find the market bottom because you will end up losing, we are just entering 2023 and the bear market is still active, instead of trying to find the market bottom you can keep dollar cost averaging, you won't see it coming when the bear market is finally done for, trust me.
Looking at the current state of the market, I think at the beginning of the turn of the year and into the next year it is very likely that it will still be in a bear market, at this point it is not so important to see the bottom of the market. We better get ready for what lies ahead, 2022 is coming to an end and this is the second bad year for Cryptocurrency. have we reached the lowest price or not at this time, but believe me the bear market will disappear soon, because this is not always sloping the market.

No one is certain as what will be the bottom of this bear market or how long this bear market will last. If we look at the fundamental analysis, we don't see any positive news. Rather it seems that there may be risk of more platforms going bankrupt after FTX and few lending platforms.

For me, the bull market will only come as we get close to the halving, we still have 500 days before the halving, so we can't expect a bull run from now on.

There will be a stage when bitcoin will remain in accumulation stage after making the final bottom. If 15800$ was the bottom, then we are in accumulation phase. If it was not the bottom, then we may see more blood in coming days.

So, the intelligent investors & retailers, will keep on buying at these low levels so that they have their bag filled up already when the bull market returns, and they will be the ones who may get maximum returns.
1450  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Exchange Business on: January 07, 2023, 05:30:15 PM

Yeah, I think OP is looking out to creating a cryptocurrency wallet between vendors and clients and such wallet won't be able to make payments to another cryptocurrency wallet except to a person that owns the wallet. Considering that paypal can't send money to another app except paypal. Since you are giving out the tip of the iceberg of the idea, It'll be difficult to conclude accurately what solution you need actually. From my perspective, to achieve such, you need a different network, I think you'll have to create the safecoin for it on a different network where users can only make peer to peer payment on the network and you'll be the exchange that'll help them get fiat using a bridge to send the coin to a regular network like blockchain that can enable you change it to fiat.

What i understand is that he will produce a crypto wallet which will do this and that but there will be "Safe Coin" which will be the altcoin for that exchange / wallet. OP will present this business idea and try to gain startup funds by an ICO for the "Safe Coin". This is how many start up gain and capture money from the market by presenting the idea, collecting funds and never implement the project or have a road map which grows slowly.
Let's see how OP will go about his business idea, i hope he has different plan than the ones i stated above.

I think you may try to build up your interface on XHV or Monero blockchain as Privacy coins are the future .

Privacy coins are not easy to grow as when the regulators hit the market, their first target will be privacy coins as you cannot track their transactions.
1451  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal For NoorulHuda. on: January 07, 2023, 02:45:39 PM
I get it, life is hard in some parts of the world, which is exactly why people seeking to financially benefit from the forum should be using it as an educational resource instead of treating it as a merit accumulation game. Regardless, you are more likely to get merits if you can demonstrate original thought inspired by education on relevant topics. With 99% of the farming posts, you're just wasting your time and ours.

So, if the life is hard in some parts of the world, this does not mean that they start spamming this forum and try to manipulate it for their own financial benefits.

Bump

It's really strange we see OP bumping this thread and he still thinks that his appeal will be taken care of  Huh

I don't think his account will be unban. If it was to be unban, it would have been done months before.
1452  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 07, 2023, 11:33:16 AM
Let’s just hope that security for Gambling site are more different, there might be no assurance for this though. The government will always have a choice to regulate everything in crypto, and that can include gambling regulations might be more riskier in the future.
Personally, I would never depend on crypto sites to safeguard my assets which is why I tend to store my funds(Big amounts) in reliable wallets like Trezor, Exodus etc.

Enabling 2FA in regularly visited crypto sites also helps boost security.
Even if the site is secured, your data might not be safe outside this site especially if its regulated and the site submitted or all data to the regulator. The best way to protect your assets is to put it on your personally wallet, I'm always withdraw my money and never store any funds to any gambling site, I find this more safe and is a must. Choosing the best site can also lessen your worry, with this Roobet is one of the good choice based on my experience.

If you are a gambler, you cannot put all your money in your personal wallets. If all your money is stored in personal wallets, then how will you gamble?
Since most of the trusted gambling sites are centralized like Roobet, we need to deposit some money on the gambling site and therefore it is always better to have additional layer for security like 2fa.

My account 271794039 was closed with 86.04mBT in balance. Can you please help me restoring access to my funds?
Even if you only allow the player to get the deposited sum, you will notice that I didn't get my deposit sum, considering the losses from my other account -> 268491469.

If you can't help anyone, please rename this topic.

@1xbit_official can you answer here please?
Why were my funds confiscated, if I didn't withdraw even my deposit sum?

I noticed you already answered some topic in trustpilot, sometimes you are online here, so please answer my case - because as you may know, the security department do not.

How do you believe that 1xbit will response to you and resolve your case ? If you have read the comments on this thread, you will know that all the cases at 1xbit remain unresolved and they hardly will let you withdraw your money from 1xbit.

By the way, why do you gamble on 1xbit? There are many other trusted gambling platforms where you may gamble and rest assured that if you win, you will be able to withdraw.
1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Example of Not your Keys Not your coins on: January 06, 2023, 02:05:32 PM
Thanks to Celsius’s “unambiguous” terms and conditions, any cryptocurrency assets — including stablecoins — that were deposited into Earn Accounts, became Celsius’s property, the filing stated.

I'd say in this case, it's more correct as an example to read the whole terms of service rather than not your keys not your coins, because everyone already know when they deposit to centralized website, the third party has a control over your coins. While in this case, Celsius's terms of service make them win about the coins ownership. If Celcius didn't write such rules, the customers will win this legal court.

The problem is that we don't have a choice. Anyone who read the term and conditions of any exchange will have to "agree" with it, before proceeding for account creation. If you do not agree with them, then they won't let you use their platform.
Since we do not have decentralized platforms and we see others using the same platform, we have no choice but to accept the terms and conditions and hope the exchange / platform will run in good faith.
In case of a collapse just as it happened with Celsius, of course our funds will be lost.
1455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 04, 2023, 08:03:19 PM
Any good signals ?
Right now many signals don't work how they use to be
Yesrterday shiba signal long was given out from the trading signals channels still not moving.

I understood If there is no pmp but dont have Even the dmps what's going on ?

Traders going mad now depresion is here.

How long we have to wait ? Feels like we going insane crypto Market should function normally always when price High then it will fall immediately down so when we short we get Nice profit.

The question is Will we stay in crypto If it's not working ?
Unlikely we stay.

If you look at the bitcoin price, it seems that it is somewhat stable and not giving any trading opportunities due to which you will feel that trading signals aren't working any more.

Secondly, we are in the bear market, so long signal won't be profitable as compared to the short signals. By the way, this bear market won't last long now as already we have seen one year of bear market. Better invest in good coins and not take leveraged trades at this moment.
1456  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 07:39:33 PM
The player who has contributed the most money to the pot at the end of the game wins the whole pot, minus a 2% fee for the host.

So does it mean that people wil contribute to the pot and in the end only ONE person will win the whole pot and the rest all contributors will lose the moeny  Huh
Also, this mean that the game does not depend upon luck but the one who is able to contribute most money will win in the end. This favour the rich as if you have a lot of money you can win the pot. Anyone with limited money will lose the game  Huh  This game is for the rich people ?
1457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 04, 2023, 07:04:32 PM
Bitcointalk has been active for over a decade and is still getting better everyday ,Though it has some hard times like the time it was hacked and others but still yet it continues to improve. Bitcointalk has been able to stay this long and improving because of contributions from members of the Forum starting with the founder Satoshi Nakamoto and other awesome members.
It is a fact that Most Newbies now join Bitcointalk just to make money and this is not the main aim of this forum but thankfully you can't really earn without contributing or by breaking the rules and regulations because there are still True members watching this Forum
So my advice for we Newbies is start thinking of a way of improving this forum first before earning.

There may be many good things about this forum and there may be many bad things which people may say about it, but believe me, this is the best forum to discuss anything related to bitcoin and crypto currencies. Even the sections like Politics and off-topic have some indept discussions which you won't find any other forum.
The reason is that people here are always willing to reply you in detail and express their point of view.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Being Fucked? The centralization of Bitcoin on: January 04, 2023, 03:40:50 PM
so no one here wants a centralized bitcoin.
But what has happened recently? I heard that there are two mining pools that are actually controlling 51% of the global hash rate.
I felt heart-breaking. If btc is going centralized, then i don't know who i can trust.

I wish i was wrong, but look at this:
https://cryptoslate.com/behind-the-two-mining-pools-controlling-51-percent-of-the-global-hash-rate/

Only true replies here.

Just because 51% of the global hash rate is controlled by two mining pools, does not mean that bitcoin is centralized. Also, i don't think it will have any big impact on the centralization or decentralization.

Bitcoin is decentralized and we do not need to think too much that can lead to wrong perception and wrong reality.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Drama and Global Empact on: January 03, 2023, 08:55:05 PM
SBF uses investors' money for fun and buys luxury properties, this is a fatal mistake that makes investors cry, so far he only plays consumer money, now FTX has officially filed for bankruptcy, and I think the police must act legally, this is not a healthy business but you can say that he is a criminal.

We trusted SBF but we never know that Sam was an immature person, playing with the investor money.  Also, people invested in Alameda Research and later we found the CEO of FTX dating with the CEO of Alameda Research which is a sister company of FTX.

This irresponsible behavior from these people have shaken the confidence of the crypto investors and they will take time to recover, that is why we see a very prolonged bear market with not much momentum in the market.
1460  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: January 03, 2023, 08:34:35 PM
Events like MTGOX and FTX are only damaging the Cryptocurrency Industry. Unfortunately,  this sort of event is nothing new to the industry as every day we see crypto businesses going bankrupt and new scams coming in.
The recent FTX event motivated the US United States Financial Stability Oversight Council or FSOC is now recommending legislators study new regulations for cryptos.

So, we will see new regulations coming in through the following months. Usually, regulation comes at a price and is more damaging than the other way around. I just hope that it isn't regulation that could stifle innovation and slow down the industry to a freezing point.

Unfortunately, the collapse of FTX and other centralized platforms have given an excuse to the regulators to enforce strict regulations in crypto industry. Now the regulators have an example of FTX that people money is being stolen and they should implement strict laws against crypto currencies.
There are centralized platforms whom motive is to earn money and they never care the growth of the crypto market.
