1461  Economy / Economics / Re: India-China border tensions on: July 05, 2020, 01:47:46 PM
The way the two countries are facing each other on the China-India border is creating a tense atmosphere. If the conflict escalates, I think it will have an impact on international trade and cryptocurrency, what do you think?

I don't quite think so. At least not yet, while the world is still experiencing a pandemic because it would be very difficult for any country to battle two fronts (COVID-19 and waging war towards another country). Right now, I believe that one country is just posturing and simply flexing its military muscle against the other, that's all.

Showing off?! I think the same, they are just testing each others there. Tension between India and China are nothing new, they had a few conflicts before, but still India faces trade imbalance heavily in favor of China. It's better this to not grow in something bigger, two nuclear armed countries can make a lot of damage if they get in the fight!

When it comes to economy, China is really above level of India as most of the products that we are using around the world came from them.

The conflict between them is not the same as the conflict between US and China.

India-China border tension is not that worse and they can still make a solution for that problem. China is a large trader, what can you expect in a big country like that with the highest population. Expect that their economy will surely move in a positive direction and is unstoppable. War will probably not happen because they will destroy humanity if they do that.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 05, 2020, 01:13:54 PM
Allot of people are making investment in Bitcoin, even with the risks involved. Everybody want to own Bitcoin. Many have half or more than half of their portfolio invested in Bitcoin already, This digital currency is becoming  almost common to all, when everyone owns a Bitcoin who then will care about it as it will be as common and a boring investment.

I believe this is a treat in the Bitcoin market value, could this actually bring down the market? Or it is a sign for feature increase in the market? Your thoughts are welcome..

There are still a lot of governments that prohibit the use of cryptocurrency in their country. It is hard to say that in the future, bitcoin will become almost common to us all, there are people which are still not that knowledgeable about how this bitcoin make you grow if you try to make this as an asset to your investment.

I don't see bitcoin as a boring investment no matter what or when, because bitcoin is the only digital currency that gives a huge profit compared to other cryptocurrency. We all know that bitcoin is volatile so why are you asking about its increase and decrease in the market, you should know how to make predictions on your own.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: July 04, 2020, 04:24:00 PM
Of course I still have confidence using altcoins or to invest with it because in the future many people will adopt it but make sure you do your own research because many scam altcoins in the market.

I will never lose my reliance in investing into altcoin although there are a lot of reports regarding this in the market. Its price is not the same like bitcoin, but these altcoins could somehow give you profits. I trusted altcoins if there is no improvement in the price of bitcoin, while we are waiting and holding bitcoin, we need to have a different way on earning profits.

The transactions in altcoin is not that high compared to bitcoin, and it is really cheaper than that. There are a lot of altcoins that you can try.

The first time I tried using an altcoin is when I invest in ETHER because I found it as the second popular cryptocurrency and also profitable as an asset.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery help? on: July 04, 2020, 03:45:36 PM
Lottery is a luck-based type of gambling game, so what is the point of enhancing or improving your skills when you can't control the results of lottery. You just need luck in order to win on that game, strategy or skills is not a requirement or a factor for you to win in lottery. It is obviously unpredictable, drawing of numbers randomly is really a hard game. Even if you bet all of the number combinations, the prize is not enough for you to recover all your bets and still it is a loss for you. There's no methods, skills, or strategies in lottery so if you are looking for a skill-based gambling, then try playing poker, blackjack, baccarat and etc.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia post office now accepts Bitcoin on: July 04, 2020, 03:09:14 PM
Australia is also a first world country just like United state, Canada, New Zealand, and etc., so it is approach towards the adoption of bitcoin is not that hard for them. This another mass adoption is really what we need to help the growth of the use of bitcoin in many transactions or activities in the market.

Open-minded countries like Australia are much more likely to have improvements in their economy especially that bitcoin is a huge factor in making so much impact in the market. Hoping that this post office is not the only thing that Australia look forward into that use of bitcoin.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 04, 2020, 08:42:22 AM
However, we cannot rely entirely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency because Bitcoin is not a stable currency Therefore it is better to use Bitcoin for long-term investments. You have to do other things besides crypto.

Bitcoin is really hard to manipulate especially that volatility is not the only problem in making bitcoin as your asset.
There are a lot of factors that can affect the price of bitcoin such as oil, and other commodities in the market.

That's why relying on bitcoin is not a good decision and that's the reason why governments are not giving a chance for cryptocurrency to become legalized in their country.

Investing your money to open a small business and make it grow will help you become more independent without the use of cryptocurrency. You can use your bitcoin to start a business, by that while you are holding your cryptocurrency, you are also making profit out of your businesses.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin work? on: July 04, 2020, 07:59:11 AM
Well, I will not say that I am that so knowledgeable in Cryptoworld...but, I disagree some of your lines about how Bitcoin works, because i did some research. It has a lot of great features that can help us in much easier ways. As I've read all those different opinions here in the thread, I must say that some people here below explained it so well. Perhaps, you got confused about how Bitcoin works, so I suggest, you must read a lot and research more about it.

Maybe, the reason why he created this thread is for him to widen his understanding and to learn things that he want to know more about how bitcoin works. There's something more about bitcoin and his opinion about this bitcoin as a virtual currency is not enough for us to know the advantages and benefits of using this cryptocurrency.

We are really aiming for what this bitcoin can do to the global economy and how will this coin help each and every country to grow their economy. This bitcoin has a huge impact in the market and as people are making transactions using this, it will really help us promote the use of digital currency into our future transactions.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: July 03, 2020, 02:40:09 PM
Bitcoin has only been around for the past 10 years and is really famous since 2017 so very few people can know about bitcoin. In addition, governments don't like bitcoin and cryptocurrencies so they restrict the media coverage of bitcoin.

I'm hoping that you are aware about the use of BTC since 2016, we are really having a hard time promoting bitcoin in social media platforms. It is very hard for us that time to address the government about the benefits and advantages of bitcoin as an asset to investment. We are trying so hard because we know that bitcoin is full of potential.

Maybe, until now there are a lot of people who are still not that knowledgeable about how bitcoin works as a cryptocurrency in the market, especially US citizens. Some governments really treat bitcoin as a scam or fraud that's why they stick to the use of fiat in many transaction in their territory

But in the future bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market will have tremendous growth and I believe that cryptocurrencies will be a part of world finance.

You should contribute too in the promotion and advertising of bitcoin in many platforms. Just by using it in some transactions is a simple but big help towards reaching mass adoption. Especially during this pandemic, digital currencies like crypto are very useful nowadays and becoming more popular.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 03, 2020, 02:08:07 PM
That feels like a movie setting where there will be someone that will organize a party like that. For me, that's the most evil thing that I heard about this Covid-19 pandemic. For the sake of fun, you will risk the lives of your college friends and schoolmates with the use of money.

Covid-19 is never joke! people are very afraid to become infected and yet they are just playing along with it.

There are people who are really anxious about this virus and they are taking care of themselves not to be infected, but these college students just want to transmit Covid-19 to other people. That's not the proper use of "betting", these college students are intending to kill people!

That's not what "YOLO" means for the youth.
1470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Day Trading: How to Get Started & How to Win on: July 03, 2020, 01:07:56 PM
Not all who come into trading has a good start, instead, they struggled first before they got where they are today. But somehow, many also had suffered losses and quit because they never understand how trading could be, and probably it happens to anyone else.
I know a lot of people wanted to be a trader but one thing to remember first, get prepared yourself and willing to learn. Trading can't be learned in one day or two, or even a week that is why we don't by tomorrow we can make money already because it won't that work easily. Besides, most starters have suffered losses than gaining.
This one is a good tip for all newbies and that they should be prepared first before making such day trading. Day trading is little bit risky than long term trading so it needs to be deal more from a professional or expert trader. But i believe with experience, everything can be learned in there. Just know the fact that day trading will not make you a wealthy man instantly. It's a very long process and you need to deal it more in a positive way.

Day trading is really much risky because you need to deal with the changes in the market every time you perform a transactions. You also need to change your strategy depending on the situation in the market so you will have a profit instead of losses. You need to have a much more experience that's why you need to practice your skills in trading.

In terms of long-term trading, you have a lot of time to prepare and the results are more worth it. Patience is what you need in order for you to have a good timing in trading, that's the problem of some newbies or beginners here, they are very excited to trade even if they are not that ready to have some transactions.

Always keep your self from greed and unplanned transactions, that will not help you win in trading.
1471  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible solution for economic go-slow on: July 03, 2020, 12:35:11 PM
Drop suggestions how this set back in economy can be improved both in your country and the crypto world.
Possible solutions:
Eliminate fear: greed and fear are two psychological factors that influence the economy. Efforts need to be intensified to slow down the spread of the virus as flattening the curve is essential in improving the economic situation and also the sentiment of the public.

The ultimate goal of these measures is to boost spending and creating an enabling environment.

It is very hard to eliminate fear due to the continuous increasing of Covid-19 cases in our country. Especially those people who are working and a frontliner, you can eliminate fear from them as they are going outside and communicating with other people. They are risking their lives just to have a budget for this pandemic because they had no choice but to do it.

It is not that easy to flattened the curve as we are really not that responsible and discipline enough to follow the government's rules and regulations during this pandemic. But opening of some businesses are good and effective to the economic recovery but still people are the main problem why we can't flattened the curve.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: July 03, 2020, 07:41:39 AM
in my opinion, bitcoin has a good performance for now, people who buy bitcoin must understand very well about the risks, because it could be that when he bought it in the future bitcoin experienced a drastic decline, but despite so many people who like bitcoin, I am a bitcoin enthusiast but I didn't buy it with all my assets, I also bought a few stable coins.

Altcoins are good also if you want to manipulate other coins than bitcoin. But right now, I don't see any improvement in bitcoin's price due to this pandemic. I know that there are factors that affected it very much, that's why as soon as possible, I think of some other ways where I can make money and earn profits. Sometimes being a wise man when it comes to cryptocurrency will help you grow your assets as you know if the coin that you're holding is safe and will surely give you a bright future. Once bitcoin is in its high price, it will really make you successful enough. Just trust bitcoin and look for another way of finding sources of profit like altcoin investments or trading using cryptocurrency.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think players can play properly against a recovered Covid-19 opponent? on: July 02, 2020, 08:01:52 AM
According to this article, there is no evidence that those who recovered from this Covid-19 diseases are able to infect other people.

But when we are in a pandemic right now, panic and fear are still there even if the person that you are talking to or having a physical contact with was infected and already recovered from the virus. Maybe, you will think that they can infect you because the rate of transmission of this corona virus is extremely higher and faster than you can imagine.

Health officials there studied 285 patients who tested negative for the virus after recovering, but weeks later tested positive again.
These people are really unlucky and further studies should be made towards this Covid-19.

That's the reason why, for me, it is still not safe to play sports even if you are competing with someone that recovered from this virus because you don't know if the virus is still there or he is an asymptomatic. That's very risky so as soon as possible, still practice social distancing and postponed those sport activities that requires physical contact between players.

1474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good book to learn how to trade. on: July 02, 2020, 07:19:16 AM
The book is really quite interesting, but you need to use the rest of the resources.

There are Ebooks that you can use in order to learn how to trade.

New Ebooks are there once you search it in a Google Search Bar because some of us are very techie when it comes to reading books. Willingness is what you need in order to grow in trading, no matter what platform you use, if the willingness is in you then you will probably become a successful trader someday.

Based on my experience, I learned trading just by seeking some advice to those professional and learn the basic fundamentals in trading and the market. Always remember that platforms have differences but that's not a hindrance for you to help yourself become an effective trader in the future.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yes, there is a strip club that accepts bitcoin. on: July 01, 2020, 05:51:01 PM
So you'd really have to be there to party and throw money around to make it worthwhile.

I think that's not worth it for me. I'm not into those party clubs where there are a lot of girls out there that wants to be paid if they want to.

This approach is really a good idea for the mass adoption of bitcoin, but I really don't see it as a benefit for me when I want to spend my bitcoin assets to some other things.

I will prefer to do other activities or settings than going to strip clubs where I will just waste my money. It is better to organize a private party where you and your friends can enjoy and celebrate whenever you want just by spending your bitcoin. But i know that it is still hard to find a grocery store that accepts bitcoin, that's the problem here.
1476  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a problem if the population decreases while monetary inflation remains... on: July 01, 2020, 04:48:54 PM
But inflation isn't the only thing that you should be worried about, and population decline can have other negative or maybe even positive consequences (opinions of economists here can vary).

Inflation is just one of those impacts that this pandemic brought to us. There is something more about the economic crisis that we are experiencing, even those countries which have a good economy before, are now dealing with the economic crisis.

Monetary inflation will make more business to go down once it's open, this will probably decrease the value of money in the market.

To deal with this problem, the government should make a precise and more effective plan about this. Some other governments are already allowing some businesses to operate so that people can pay taxes during this quarantine.

1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson plans about Bitcoin achieved on: July 01, 2020, 04:18:00 PM
So, I came up with these;

2. What it is used for

Many of us are still not that good at using bitcoin and manipulating it in the market. Many of us are still not that knowledgeable on how to use bitcoin in transactions properly. Especially those newbies and including those btc holders who are doing it the wrong way. This is a good idea especially if you are willing to learn more about the importance of bitcoin

3. Introduction to a forum dedicated for discussion of Bitcoins named Bitcointalk Forum

This forum will really help you to understand things with different opinions and point of views towards a certain topic. I really learned a lot just by contributing to share my opinion here about bitcoin and some people are answering my questions. When you want to learn something about bitcoin then this is a good place to start a discussion.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Platforms with Issues. on: June 30, 2020, 05:25:16 PM
Instead create a list of gambling sites with issues, why not create a list of trusted gambling sites?

IMO most (probably all) of gambling platforms have encounter problem/issues at least once time. Some of them also already resolved when the support read the complain from gamblers. My suggestion you need to update your thread often and regularly if you find accusations/issues regarding gambling platforms on this forum or other forums.

The idea of creating a list of gambling platform with issue is basically great as it can help people to know which sites to avoid.
Talking about list of trusted gambling platform, I do believe there are many topics about this thing already.
Problem/issues does exist in almost every site, agree with it obviously.
But the main important thing is about how big the issue and how the sites deal with it.

By that, you can determine what gambling platform you should pursue. For me, it is easy to find trusted gambling sites and it is hard for me to find gambling platforms with issue. This doesn't mean that I'm always using fraud gambling platforms. I always do some research first and know the reputable gambling platforms before accessing it.

Problems are not that easily to detect or notice but once it affect your gambling experience that's the time where you will treat it as a big deal. There are some gambling platforms which are fixing their issues immediately. That will make them a good gambling platform it they are listening to the feedback of customers.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy suddenly recovering? on: June 30, 2020, 04:55:06 PM
It was obvious that in the long run we would have seen the US economy recover, but honestly I wasn’t expecting US economy to recover so fast, or is this just another false positive for us?. I’m referring to the article posted by CNBC where they have shown stats which proves that the US economy has started recovering despite many states yet being in lockdown. What are your thoughts on this, will the US economy recover faster than what we had anticipated?.

Source:

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/28/here-are-five-charts-illustrating-the-us-economic-recovery-amid-the-coronavirus-pandemic.html

I don't think so, there are countries which are also having a hard time recovering from economic crisis. Although US is a first world country, as there are also a huge cases in their territory, they will probably have a much harder economic recovery. Even China can't eliminate the virus in their country but their economy is stable, it is just because their products are still circulating globally.

US can do it, but I don't think that this is the time where they can recover their economy. Their government has a lot of sectors that should prioritize including the health sector, agricultural and especially the economy sector. If they want to recover from economic crisis, they should make a plan about opening some business safely.
1480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian government Banning Cryptocurrencies? on: June 30, 2020, 03:06:18 PM
A ban on crypto in India may have an affect to the crypto space but that will not be high. Remember that crypto was not much legal in India couple of months ago. Still now, as far as I know Banks don't cooperate any crypto trading. So, what's the changes or affect are you expecting?

It will probably affect the cryptocurrency space but I don't think that it will be a huge factor. They only accepted cryptocurrency since March 2020, and their contribution about the mass adoption of digital coins are not that huge enough but still there is some. If they will ban cryptocurrency again, the opportunity to help their economy grow will be wasted. Not all of countries are not that knowledgeable about the advantages of these cryptocurrencies. This will make some changes in their economy but not that huge, maybe that's the reason why they are confident to ban cryptocurrency again in their country.
