1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: December 20, 2020, 03:28:32 PM
I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins

Why I am choosing altcoins is because bitcoin is now too much volatile and there is too much hype regarding Bitcoin, Altcoins will be recovered soon and will be hitting to new highs, but in case of Bitcoin, We are not sure that when this bubble explodes. Since we are not sure, investment in altcoin is only the safest option.
I'm pretty sure you know that Altcoins are just following Bitcoin right? so if Bitcoin's bubble explodes and so the Alts, unless they are stable which I think investing in the stable coin wouldn't get you anything. Besides, I don't think that investing in altcoins is the safest option, I mean yeah there are good alts to invest in like ETH but if you pertain to a random alts in the market then I don't think so. Moreover, to be truth altcoins are more volatile than Bitcoin which is why they are much riskier compared to it.
1462  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: December 20, 2020, 02:53:32 PM
The market growth is promising and the same is being related with different things. This is so common, whenever there happens something positive with bitcoin people start to relate the growth with any of the incident happening around the market. Covid-19 vaccine will not make any impact upon the cryptospace, because the market isn't reactive to sentiments.
Exactly there's no direct connection between the two. Even if the vaccines have been out to the public still I don't think of any reason why it will have a big impact in crypto, is that because people will sell their holdings just to afford the vaccine? I don't even think that vaccines would be that expensive though. I'm not gonna lie that there's a chance that Covid-19 could probably help Bitcoin to surge because some folks in the stock market could probably move into crypto space to save their investment. But I don't think that it will also cause a plummet for Bitcoin when the vaccine is done because first of all, it's been a cycle that after a rally there will be a correction. Thereby I don't see any connection between them.
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: December 20, 2020, 02:17:54 PM
Bitcoin cannot be banned because of its very nature. It is an open source platform and is decentralized. It does not come under any governance and changing laws according to it will make no difference to the crypto itself. Considering how many countries had banned Bitcoin in the past, it still went higher.
Bitcoin can be banned and some countries are already done that what you probably mean is that Bitcoin cannot be stopped. The government can impose a prohibition upon using crypto and make punishment who should not abide that law however if people really love this technology, they cannot be stopped due to the fact that they can hide their addresses and identity or simply become anonymous. Besides, Bitcoin is decentralized so there's no way they can totally manipulate this one.
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 19, 2020, 04:01:17 PM
By seeing the increasing in price rapidly I invested in bitcoin. Was it the perfect time? What is the prediction of price for now with reason?!
That would depend on you. I mean if you are a Hodler then I don't think you can call it bad timing to buy Bitcoin at this price because it is still growing even more over time. However, if you are a trader then your entry was totally wrong because why would you buy at the rally phase when you could have just wait for a correction. Perhaps FOMO is the main reason why you purchase are you? Anyway, I hope more rally comes for Bitcoin so that it wouldn't be a total loss for you. Just make sure that if you saw an opportunity to buy or to sell, don't hesitate to grab it.
1465  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bull Run; FOMO on: December 19, 2020, 03:11:59 PM
Bitcoin has surged past $21k. Newbies are rushing into the market to buy some.. FOMO...it's incredible that people are more willingly to buy a coin when the price is high than when it's low. Take for example when btc was less than $600 in 2016, people thought it was just plain stupid to buy a coin for that much. I had the experience with ethereum, I could have bought eth at $100 but I wasn't sure and was waiting for the "right time". I later bought ETH at $400. The psychology of regarding coins as shit coins until they blow up and become too expensive is common among newbies. Even myself I am guilty. Enjoy the bull run guys!! Remember to lock your btc or swap to a stable coin like usdt. Good luck
I guess we can't do anything with it, newbies are just bandwagon, if they saw something that is on a trend they'll go for it. Like in the case we are all in, upon seeing Bitcoin's current price right now, the fact that it is in a rally they tend to accumulate as well though it is very expensive to buy and once they got what they want they will just leave instantly. I bet they didn't even know truly how the market work, they only because of the trend and profit. And I think this also happened in 2016. Fortunately, today's rally was different because the growth was firm enough and more mature unlike we had before.
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin All time High $23k : What is secret of this High . on: December 19, 2020, 02:23:16 PM
I am Not Understanding This high

17th December In Morning $22k When I Check in Noon Time $23K It Super High.

Well, there's a lot of possible reasons but we don't know what it is exactly like this could be a FOMO. After breaking the $20k resistance and Bitcoin is now increasing once again people tend to panic and purchasing Bitcoin for they not to miss the opportunity of the rally. Perhaps everyone thinks that Bitcoin will now plunge since Christmas is coming and they thought that a lot of persons will try to liquidate but they all got wrong and now they are procuring the coins that they have sold.

1468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $318K by December 2021 on: December 19, 2020, 11:32:50 AM
I know that some people believe BTC can achieve much more than we have seen till this far. Just in 1 month the BTC went from somewhere around $11K to +$16K today.

CitiBank Managing Director believes BTC can touch $318K by December 2021. What do you think? Is this really possible?

Read article:
CitiBank Managing Director Says Bitcoin (BTC) Can Touch $318K By December 2021

It is possible for Bitcoin to have $315k however, I am not sure that it will touch at the end of the month of 2021. Halving is done and based on the past, after the halving, the corrections enter but I do hope that this one would be different this time. Anyway, though the Bitcoin market is unpredictable I still don't think the price would grow to be that much in that amount of time frame, perhaps it will take roughly a decade. Unless Bitcoin will surge drastically over time starting in the 1st Quarter up to the 4th Quarter of the year 2021.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion is highly needed! on: December 19, 2020, 10:11:31 AM
Quite tough indeed but I think the people who only in that situation could answer that because he knows better what could be the best for him. Like if you prioritize having a house then go for it however, if you think you can wait you could for more years then just rent out and try to invest that amount in crypto. Though it is a lot of risks to take because of the fact that Bitcoin is inflating over time thus no one really knows whether will it go up or down. Bitcoin could bring 2fold, 3fold, and even more of your invested money yet it can also cut into half or even more, so to put it simply it is more like a double-edged sword, thus they always say invest only the money you can afford to lose. That is why I conclude that the decision should be made by himself.
1470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long will go Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2020, 03:31:58 PM
We can see the Bitcoin rally is in a crazy mood. After braking 20K resistance Bitcoin growing up very smoothly.
What do you think? How long will Bitcoin continue this rally?
When will Alts start a bull run?
No one really knows how far Bitcoin goes, is the rally done?  and when the alts will start a rally. However, one thing is for sure, Bitcoin is not forever increasing so expect that there will be correction and downtrends will come so we better prepare for that. You can create your own prediction if you want to and yes there's a chance it might happen but not a hundred percent certain. Upon dealing with this uncertainty, one strategy that could help you a lot, like making a target goal price or exit point. To put it simply, just do not be greedy.
1471  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 18, 2020, 03:01:56 PM
Finally we have achieved the most awaited mark of $20,000 now what's next? Do you think Bitcoin will cross the next landmark of $25,000 by the end of the year or it might happen in 2021? As per my earlier prediction based on market analysis I thought the value of Bitcoin will cross $20,000 by second week of December which seems bit sceptical at the beginning of this month but now it has come true and of my prediction goes right then Bitcoin will reach $25,000 by the end of this month as next 14 days will be more bullish or chaotic.
We have approximately 1 and a half week remaining before this year ends thus it's been really tough to determine if Bitcoin will reach $25k. I tell you what, honestly, my prediction is that by the end of this year Bitcoin will only reach the $20k mark but look at it now it is $22k and it even reaches $23k so I was totally wrong, it seems I have no talent on prediction. Anyway, if Bitcoin reaches the $23k mark once again then I would say that there's a chance, we might see it on $25k before this year ends.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 18, 2020, 02:29:10 PM
Due to the covid 19 pandemic, I lost my job and my bank account was closed because I withdrew all my remaining balance to buy our necessities, at that time I was looking for another alternative to lost job in order to support my family's needs . Until I start trading bitcoin with small capital and thanks God because with the help of cryptocurrency we can continue to survive from the difficult time of pandemic.

Now I have accumulated a small amount to be able to reopen a bank account but I think that instead of opening a new bank account, it is be better to just buy and invest in bitcoin so that I can expect more profit than the traditional bank.

I know that investing in bitcoin is risky but I also believe that bitcoin has a good future.

I just hope I made the right decision.
Bitcoin has indeed a bright future however, you don't need to rely upon it too much it is still better for you to have a job. Take Bitcoin investment as an alternative way of earning because Bitcoin does not always work on our side. I mean there are times that Bitcoin could be profitable like now but what if the bear trend takes over what will be your income now? I'm glad that Bitcoin helps you with your financial problems, in fact, it does also the same for me. In terms of holding your funds, I think bitcoin could be a great place due to the fact that it will grow over time drastically unlike what banks can provide however, bear in mind that the risk would be higher.
1473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Btc hit $20799, what is the next move ? on: December 16, 2020, 06:17:05 PM
After a few attempts, Bitcoin now makes it to make a clear entry for $20k USD. I hope that the resistance was now over, and at the moment we break the barrier this will be a start that Bitcoin might surge even more targeting the $25k USD would be the next goal. To be honest, I thought that the resistance will be stronger as we getting closer to the end of the month because people tend to sell some of their holding for the Christmas season but luckily I was wrong. Thereby, keep holding, now that resistance is over, Bitcoin will certainly surge this time.
1474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 16, 2020, 03:32:12 PM
Hi,

I'm trying to learn how to trade and I was wondering what people here tend to trade between? Do you just have a set list of trading pairs that you stick to? What are your most common trades?
When I am trading I usually choose those coins that have a higher volume because they are more certain than the coins that have low volume. Bitcoin and Ethereum was my primary coin to trade with while on the other hand, I am using USDT to liquidate or preserve their value when the downtrend comes. For you who are only about to start trading, I highly recommend using Bitcoin as well before going into some volatile altcoins because this really contains higher risk exposure. Investing in high volatility coins requires a lot of experience and knowledge in dealing with them otherwise you will only be filled with remorse.
1475  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price increasing slowly. on: December 16, 2020, 02:38:53 PM
After a slippery week once again BTC is slowly gearing up is this the last resistance level of the year? Right now the market capitalization is healthy and that's why we are seeing some positive trends also i' ve been watching the price of BTC pumps most of the times only In the weekends, Is this means there is a surprise for crypto industry? Guys share your thoughts Cool

I'd like to believe we have a big pump coming and we have a big surprise coming and whales are just positioning for a big surprise, the new all-time high is just $800 to $900 away it's manageable we just need a big 10% pump to set a new record and I hope the whales will deliver before the end of the year.

We are in positive side right now which can give the possibilities that we can see some good figures this year or maybe In next year so let's hope for something best to come so that we can see the price surpass to $20k and maybe if that will be reached by this year we will might get a healthy market next year.

Hopefully this will happen, because we haven't seen a healthy market until now,
Pump and Dump are always happening in the market, it looks like whales want to manipulate the price of Bitcoin,
we know there are still many whales who have large amounts of Bitcoin, and this makes the market unhealthy

Now we see it the new record has been landed and bitcoin price is continuously pumping now, for sure many are celebrating since the one who hodl their coins and trust bitcoins are so lucky today. Hopefully we can see more pump and we can reach for even $25k until the end of this year.
Despite the strong resistance we have been through at last we have seen Bitcoin reaching the $20k mark. After several attempts, Bitcoin manages to break the resistance. Honestly, I've been thinking that we will see the $20k mark through next year due to the fact that most of the people are now selling some of their holding for near Christmas but I was wrong. Now that we've been break the resistance I hope the next year we will seen Bitcoin reaching the $25k USD mark.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Projects Doing Scam on: December 15, 2020, 03:19:32 PM
why all upcoming and new projects doing scams with bounty hunters for example P2P and YOUengine when bounty distribution is near they dump the token price and fail all hardwork of bounty hunters who help promote their projects many weeks after this promoters get nothing.

Actually this kind of issues in bounty scene exist for long times and it's a total gamble for bounty hunters right now to join on several campaigns, maybe the best thing you can do for now is to be selective and be accept the fact that almost all of the time that will happen when bounty distribution happen.

That's the reason why I left bounty campaigns for almost 3 years, since the scamming is so rampant and it's a waste of effort to join them.
Indeed, you gotta take your time in researching the campaign/project before participating because more or less if you didn't do it there's a high percentage that you will end up in scam projects and wasting your time. You know what luck is also mattered in choosing a bounty campaign because they might perform a good service in the early stage but after the allocation, there's a lot of problems occur leaving the coin hopeless. And this also the reason why I only barely participated in bounty campaigns. This is just based on my experience maybe yours is different but you must still be wary.
1477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: December 15, 2020, 01:26:58 PM
Should I hold for more time?
It all depends on you, if you think your profit is enough then you can make a call, don't wait up for more because we don't exactly know what will be the move of the market. You should learn how to set your exit point or target price because in that way you can mitigate the risk exposure of your holdings. Simply as say don't be greedy.
Quote
Should I buy some more now only or wait if the price dips a bit?[/b]
Well technically yes, you should buy at a low price but in crypto, however, you don't even know if the price would go even lower so I recommend taking the opportunity as you saw it and then you can adjust now your selling point. The thing is, you don't need actually to wait for a cheaper price and purchase whenever time you want because Bitcoin grows over time thereby, the profit is still certain.
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 15, 2020, 12:12:57 PM
$19,500-$20,000 for me.
The resistance is quite strong, in fact, I think it's been 3rd time we reach the $19k USD mark but it is still not going beyond it. Currently, the price is hovering around $19200, showing no movement and I think it will stay for a couple of days. However, 3 weeks was still a long time, and there's could be some surge happens, who knows, no one exactly what will be the next move anyway. But one thing for sure, if it breaks the $20k USD mark which I think probably will occur next year, the run will take up again.
1479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe in bitcoin/altcoin market stock predictions? on: December 14, 2020, 04:40:21 PM
It's been so long since I stop using my account here for Campaign use and decided to ask some questions to get suggestions before going back and doing something new to increase and widen my income source at the same time holding my earned bitcoin a very long time to use it for trading this December.

I am having smooth work from school because it's online and seeing bitcoin price increase I was so eager to do trading to earn more, saw predictions that the market/stock price for bitcoin is increasing and will be on a skyrocket on December 2021. Now I am confused and that I should hold it or do short-term trading to get the chances of earning little by little?.

Question here

Do you believe in those predictions? Did the predictions for market price come true most of the time? did you use it for trading? or not?

from what I use to know did you just study how the signs (from what I used to know those signs are helpful and unpredictable) work when It goes down and up from time to time?

(My knowledge for trading years ago is a rookie/newbie and still is until now so if everything is nonsense enlighten me)
Predictions in the Crypto market do not exist. The Crypto market is known for being unpredictable because if so, then there will be a lot of people are now become successful. Even now no one exactly knows when and how much does Bitcoin will set its new ATH, speculations are the most you can see and you can even make your own. I don't rely on predictions but rather on my own instinct. Feel free to make your own TA and don't rely onto others. One thing if you have no much enough knowledge on trading, long-term trade would pretty much perfect for you.
1480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best thing which I noticed of this forum. on: December 14, 2020, 03:56:14 PM
That is the older members like hero and legendary and others( except the newbies who spam the forum). They always comment on a post if they have knowledge about it and suggest in a right way to the topic creator.
Well, not all the hero and legendary are the same because there are several accounts that have been made a long time ago where merit does not exist yet. Besides, there are still some users who have been merit trading just for them to rank up and if it happens you saw one, you should report it. But you must not only focus on higher ranks though because there are lower ranks that are overshadowed and also been providing a contribution.

Quote
They do not go out from the topic and only share that information which they experienced before or learn from anywhere.
And that is how the forum should work because several members are only here for profit. If you have knowledge that you think everyone doesn't know then share it because they will do the same. Exchange of everyone's knowledge is a good trade after all.

Quote
When I learn a topic from this forum than I make a little research about the topic to learn. ( Is it good please suggest?)
No doubt, this is the best thing to do rather than creating a topic that is already been discussed. After reading some articles you must support it with little research for you to be able to completely understand it.
