TPTB_need_war, I respect your opinion on the matter, but I don't think you are one-hundred percent correct on your assessment.  You have a very black and white decision making process in which you frame everything.  It either has to be flawlessly perfect or it is a "scam" in your mind.  I'm familiar with this type of thinking as it is prevalent in people who are smart and they attempt to force ideas into their personal construct.  Synereo might not be one-hundred percent decentralized in your mind, but that doesn't mean that it's a "shitcoin scam".  Even if it is ten percent better than Facebook, Twitter, and the other social media companies, I'll take it.  Anything which is attempting to take the power away from the social media monopolists and place it back in the hands of the people is a good thing in my book.  If the Casper PoS blockchain is fundamentally flawed as you think it is, then I'm sure Greg and the Synereo team will find an alternative blockchain solution for AMPs.  Only "attention economy" (and maybe reputation) rely on the Casper PoS algo.  All the decentralized storage for the network is handled by SpecialK.

Coinmarketcap is erroneously listing the available AMPs @ 184,800,000.  It should be listing the amount as 45,439,378 AMPs.  Somebody should contact them to update this.

This is not entirely true.  Currently, I assume over 51% of the PoW miners reside outside of China.  China's bandwidth to the rest of the world is inferior and filtered through the "Great Firewall of China".  Due to their low bandwidth connections to the rest of the world, we can make mining more difficult for them with a few changes.  We would need to increase the blocksize to a much higher amount such as 100MB per block and fill it with data to ensure that each and every block is at least 100MB.  If we also implemented a blacklist on Chinese IPs to force them to use TOR or VPNs, it would make it exceedingly difficult for them to compete against miners in the West.  The blockchain could be pruned of old blocks to make it manageable for Western nodes to store.

So, it's going to be hybrid PoW/PoS?

Changing to PoS doesn't keep the Chinese out.  The Chinese can PoS mine just like everyone else.  I was hoping that TrumpCoin could would remain PoW and do something to attempt to disrupt Chinese PoW miners.

Ugh... Why the change to PoS?  All the coins now are PoS.  What happened to good old mining?

I see all these posts in the altcoin discussion section saying things like "Do you wish that you purchased more Ether?", "What do you think is the next Ethereum?", etc... and I think to myself, "Have you people not heard of Synereo?"  This project imo has just as much if not more potential than Ethereum.  Which is more empowering to people?  A turing-complete blockchain or a social media revolution?  Imo, it's the latter.

I listen to these podcasts, and I just know that this project is going to be very successful.  Synereo is going to have such an influx of users that we are all going to be amazed by it.  Synereo has already drawn a lot of attention from smart people, and that will continue.  If somebody hears about this project and doesn't think that it's a goldmine, there is something seriously wrong with them.  I'm holding on to all my AMPs.  Even when the price increases 10x, I don't think I'll sell them.  I really like the ideals behind this project.  Knowing the state of affairs of big media and big data profiting off your information and monetizing your being, how can you not support such an initiative?  Keep up the good work.  I have a feeling that this project is going to really take off soon.

I think the crypto project which has the most potential to be revolutionary is Synereo's decentralized social network, which enables users to own their data and profit off of the network instead of the big social media companies.  Of course, I've put my money where my mouth is, and I'm long AMPs.  I urge everyone to check the potential this project has if only to put you back in control of your personal information.

Tomorrow, TRUMP is absolutely going to clean up in Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Maine.  Nobody believes the GOP establishment politicians and they're sick of their vested interests controlling politics.  TRUMP sends a clear, concise, and truthful message about what needs to be done to turn this country around and put the people first.  Park Ranger Rubio and Lying Goldman Cruz have both spent over double what the TRUMP campaign has spent, and they are still struggling to stay afloat.  TRUMP has widespread appeal to the people.  He draws people to the Republican party who don't politically identify as "Republicans" such as myself.  For years, I never thought I'd support a politician from either party.  TRUMP changed that.  I stand with TRUMP.

Your argument is based on the same rational as the current "Free Trade" policies instituted by governments in the West.  Imo and Trump's, this is an irrational proposition.  You can't play ball with people who cheat.  You can't outsource your economy to countries which are ideologically opposed to yours, steal your IP, disregard basic labor laws and engage in currency wars against you.  Such a policy is idiotic and doomed to destroy your country.  I'm all for having a "decentralized free economy", but only with those individuals who value the same ideals that I do.  Making it more difficult for those who are ideologically conflicted with you doesn't degrade the notion of a free economy and free enterprise.
