Dear crypto friends, I wish you a Merry Christmas and all the best  Cheesy
The truth is that this year was very difficult for all of us, but as experience teaches us, crypto died several times, but each time it came back even stronger and reached new heights.
That's why don't worry too much and don't watch crypto values on your mobile phone every moment, just relax and have fun and be ready for new, glorious crypto news next year  Grin
We are the winning team and everyone else is the loser, even though they don't know it yet  Grin
Good luck everyone!

This was really a tough year for crypto and the bitcoin prices were on a constant drop.

Below is the price chart for bitcoin for this year and we can see that price only moved in one direction(downwards) and never looked to bounce back up.

I wish 2023 will be a much better year for bitcoin and we may start moving in an upward direction after having the final accumulation between 16,000$ to 18,000$.

Wishing everyone a great year ahead!!!
1502  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk forum mobile app on: December 24, 2022, 02:10:35 PM
I'm more comfortable using bitcointalk using a desktop or laptop than a mobile phone device. I feel more like what I'm talking about here in the forum compared to the mobile device via browsing.

Why? don't you have a desktop or laptop? though, there is no problem if you use a mobile phone when you open bitcointalk. Oh, maybe you are referring to the Bitcointalk that can be downloaded from the play store or apps store because if you ask me, I don't think it's necessary. This browsing style is now better.

I also use bitcointalk on my laptop but that does not mean that it should not have an app. These days most of the popular sites have an mobile app and i wonder why bitcointalk have not thought on these things.

Yes, we can open any browser in mobile and login bitcointalk but still, there is a need for an app. An app is usually designed for mobile and it is actually optimized for mobile usage.

If ever there is any app for bitcointalk, i would more than happy to use it.   Smiley
1503  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: December 24, 2022, 07:51:44 AM
Looking at the bright side, everyone else are looking good and almost everyone is supporting the idea of having the local board for Pakistan people.

The reason why everyone including me is supporting this local board for Pakistan is that there is no drawback if they get a local board.
They are already very active in the local thread, so the local board will further boost their confidence.

I really don't see what the drawback or issue for the forum admins on not creating the board. Maybe they have to do a bit of programming to set up the board and assign a moderator for the board. Fail to understand the exact reason for delaying board creation???
1504  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I found a paper wallet on a beach ... seriously on: December 23, 2022, 11:53:04 PM
A friend of mine almost fell for this. He asked me and it sounded fishy but after a quick google check it was obvious this is a scam!

Glad police made this public as well.
Unfortunately, when people feel like they're getting their big break by stumbling upon a lot of money or "winning" a lot of money they tend to forget basic security measures. I've done it in the past, and I'm sure there's plenty of stories like this. Fortunately, I clocked on before losing anything, and I don't think I would've lost anything, but people that aren't quite as aware might easily fall for things like this.

In most cases, it may be the fault of the person owing bitcoin to lose his coins by not being serious in storing his private keys. Yes, people know that they must use hardware wallets, personal wallets and paper wallets to secure their wealth, but no one emphasizes them that storing and securing your keys is the most important thing after owing the wallet.

What a wonderful bunch of BS on that site:
Got to love how they say that other cold wallets are vulnerable to hackers because the keys are stored online. I can already see the billboards: Online cold storage solutions with hackable private key features. Who can say no to that?
At the same time, their answer is offline key storage, but there is a web-based app that is part of the mixture somehow.

I am just surprised on the people who keep their private keys on oline cloud-based solutions. Think for a moment, that you move your funds out of centralized wallets and keep them in your personal wallets, but you are still happy to store the keys in online centralized cloud solutions. How ridiculous is that? Roll Eyes
1505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: December 23, 2022, 01:22:24 PM
It would be a great New Year's present for all of us here, not only getting closer to $18K, but a start of yet another ascent of BTC to a new ATH.
Am not expecting BTC to reach a new ATH until the next halving event which is a long time away. I think BTC will creep back into the $25K - $30K range in the first half of 2023 for various positive reasons.

No historical data show that Bitcoin reached a new ATH when there's no halving occur, it always the halving giving to much hype on this coin that's why we see a series of pump and then a new record breaking ATH has been set. Maybe next year possibly we can see that since for provably many will think that this will be the start of recovery so maybe at that time the demand will increase for bitcoin if many will start to accumulate.

There is not only the hype but some fundamental changes in bitcoin after every halving, which cause the rise in bitcoin price. It is that after every halving, we see that the miner's rewards are half too which is why we see a surge in bitcoin prices.

Right now i don't see any good news which can create demand and push the bitcoin prices higher. We are surrounded by all negative news which includes restrictions on crypto and also centralized exchanges and platforms getting exposed and bankrupt. Once these negative events are finished, we can hope for some recovery in 2nd quarter of 2023, however gambling at Bitcasino will be entertaining no matter what is the bitcoin price.  Smiley
1506  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What do you think about trust wallet? on: December 21, 2022, 05:33:22 PM
Trust wallet is only keeping things balanced as it'll be bad to have all open source wallets in the market regarding the cloning or mimicking of wallets which led them to opt-in for closed source. ~ that someone downloaded the code of Bread wallet and worked a similar wallet and named it breadwallet and scammed people of their money.
This has always been a very weak excuse that closed source developers use to justify their shady behavior. Otherwise as Leo pointed out, it is very easy to create a fake wallet and fool newbies into downloading it. I'd argue that you don't even need to clone the UI because newbies who download these fake and malicious wallets only seek the "name". The scammer could clone the UI from an open source project (eg. Electrum) call it breadwallet 2.0 and then claim that they had reworked/improved the UI in the "new" version! The newbies would still fall for it.

I would not call it a drawback of open source wallets, but it is more of carelessness from the people who download the fake wallets.

To be very straightforward, if a person cannot detect a fake wallet and does not know from where to download an open source wallet, or how to verify it then I am afraid he deserves to lose his funds.

The scammer can clone or do whatever he wants to do, the crypto investors should first learn on how to stay away from phishing attempts.
1507  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: December 21, 2022, 04:27:59 PM
It's great to see new Nigerian local board added to forum, and i think the regular monthly local board reports made by Rikafip helped a lot with this change.
Pakistan community has similar activity like Nigerian so I think it's possible to expect this change in near future, but let's see how much members from Pakistan really want this to happen.
I always imagined that Pakistan and India speak same or similar language, but this is not the case, most Indians also speak very good english language.

We didn't have any new local board created for a long time and now i come to know that a Nigerian local board is created. First of all, congratulations to them of having their own board now.

Since the Nigerian local board is created, it means other local communities can feel confident that their local board will be created if they are active. Seeing the Pakistan thread stats I think they also deserve a local board.

Also, i don't think there is any drawback if the few top active local threads are given the privilege of the local board. Smiley
1508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: December 21, 2022, 03:58:57 PM
Literally articles are flooding saying the bottom isn't here etc etc.

The FTX thing sucked, but Bitcoin can only go so low with the amount of support it has and how integrated it has become with the banking system.

Stop the FUD.

EDIT: For those of you who seem not to remember what FUD stands for:

Fear. Uncertainly. Doubt.

I also agree that 14K bitcoin is not possible, even 10K is, even more, seems out of question but then crypto markets move more on fund and hype. Any bad event like ftx can throw the bitcoin price to 10-12K levels. These days we are hearing news of allegations on Binance and investigations being carried out on them. Let's hope we do not get any unexpected news and market remains over 16K.

Many people just think profit without ever thinking of loss, especially many people show off profits on social media because investment bitcoin or altcoins so that it makes him interested in investment, of course this will make many people think of investment immediately even though they have to sell anything, and when the price drops then he panicked.

If you know about the finical markets and more importantly crypto market, then you should know that you should invest in this market with long-term investments. This will make you not get panic about small or large dumps as your vision is for long term duration.
1509  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 20, 2022, 07:21:41 PM
lead me to deposit another $50 to open the box Grin

Lol I need to redeposit as well after I bust all my balances on France to win  Roll Eyes. Yeah I was nuts but it was kinda worth it, I should have gone for Argentina instead because I had France outright on another site but oh well I guess

Anyway, duelbits also asked me to redeposit atleast $50 to open boxes. I could have sworn that this is not the case for the last easter event. I deposited once on easter event and was able to claim the whole boxes on that event

Why did you go all in for a france win ? If the amount was small, then there is no issue but if you had a big balance at Duelbits, you should have not risk your 100 percent balance in a single bet.
Also, both were good teams, and no one was sure as who could win the match, so i would call it a very risky bet.
1510  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: December 20, 2022, 05:07:38 PM
Same here mate. I am also losing in this World Cup. Although I am rooting for Argentina to win, I am actually 0-2 with my bets on them. Their defeat to Saudi Arabia leads me to bet only on selective games only. In the end, I am 7-7, a draw but considering the odds, I am losing. Anyways, let's expect more December promotions on BK8.

If you were rooting for Argentina throughout the tournament, then for sure you will be in profit and won good bets. Argentina started badly with a loss to Saudia Arab but after that, they won all the matches and won the world cup. If you had bet on all Argentina matches, you will be in very good profit.

Maybe BK8 can run a short contest or even a raffle exclusive to forum members. All I want this Christmas is a BK8 jersey. Grin

Same as everyone wanted to have bonuses and promotions on Black Friday, we want casinos to offer some nice promotions at Christmas too. I am not sure if BK8 offer something exclusively for forum members, but if they decide they can offer something special for the public on this Christmas.
1511  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: December 20, 2022, 04:40:13 PM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑

First of all, crypto won't make you money (unless you are already very rich and can afford to invest in crypto).

Now in order to make money, you need skills, and you will be paid in fiat or crypto. You are being paid in crypto but in fact, it is the skill that made you money.

Yeh, you can make direct money in crypto, if you do crypto trading. But for trading you need capital and skills. Most people start trading without any skills and therefore they lose money. Crypto trading is a full time job and if you do not have time, better invest in crypto and not trade it.

1512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update #2 - need your review, again! on: December 20, 2022, 03:56:59 PM
I'm the founder of PNNV.com - you can read all about it in the original thread.

Now, you can exchange crypto on any chain without connecting your wallet!

BSC to ETH, BTC to ETH - almost every chain.

So I have become changeNOW official partner (lowest Fee), and I’m using their API.
NO KYC is needed.

Please check out: https://pnnv.com/exchange

Could you share your thoughts with me?

I saw your previous thread when you first introduced yourself as an alternative to Preev.com which is offline. At that moment, i had bookmark your site as it offers a clean nice interface to seeing and converting the bitcoin price in USD and other local fiat currency.

I am really excited to see that you have got another step ahead and started a crypto exchange service. Without having to do the KYC, this may be one of the best services. I haven't tried the exchange yet but I will try it surely next time I needed to exchange crypto.

As per my understanding it seems like some members are confusing wagering x amount with losing x amount.
If it says you have to wager a thousand dollar, it doesn't mean you have to spend and waste a thousand dollar.
You can wager this amount with only a buck in your balance if you are lucky enough and how much you are going to spend depends mainly on the game's house edge.

First of all, wagering is not only about losing or winning, it is the X amount of money that you wagered irrespective of whether you win or lose the bet. In both cases, wagering would be counted.

Also, wagering 1000$ with a single buck is not so easy and you need to be extremely lucky to achieve this. A more reasonable example would be that you may need 100 - 300$ to wager around 1000$.

Anyways I agree that the understanding of wagering is not much clear to the gamblers and they often miscalculate all this.
1514  Economy / Services / Re: Newbie LOGO designer Price? (A question for graphic designers) on: December 19, 2022, 06:20:11 PM
So Iam majoring in Digital Arts, so I am a Designer/Graphics Designer, and Iam in my Fourth Year of college.

I want to ask how much I can sell my services for a friendly price. to make one logo? for a small business? and big Company?

Iam have different opinions personally coming from my professor. Still, I did not get a chance to ask how much specifically they sell their services for Iam really a shy type of person in the class.

I know I can research the question of the estimated price but I want answers from different people and I want to know precisely the amount you get paid when you finish school as a student) who should get paid for one logo?

Since you are in the fourth year of your college, you should focus on developing your portfolio and for this, you can make free logos too.
However, i would suggest taking 5 dollars initially as that is the minimum for orders being placed at Fiverr.

You can visit Fiverr and see how much the logo developers are asking for a logo. Remember, that the more experience you have, the more you can charge for your services.

I created the website in my profile just to learn, it was like working for free. A few months later I joined a bigger projects and made some bucks.

Developing of your own website is the best thing one can do to represent his / her portfolio.

I would suggest that every graphic designer should own a website.
1515  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bit-hit.com HYIP Offering 25000% Running For Over 892 Days Potential Scam on: December 19, 2022, 05:04:16 PM
WTF 110% interest for just a day and it goes insane the longer the wait. Nice find on this Ponzi. It’s very rare for me to see such kind of investment since I started to unfriend those users that loves sharing ponzi website.

I think many people will still fall on this scheme because they offer term period such as day investment plan in exchange for a huge return.

How do you find such website like this?

I know that such ponzi schemes are scam and these websites don't last for long. They just scam people and run as long as funds are coming to them but stop paying once they see that they are no more profitable or have no chance of getting more money from the people.

However, i am surprised that that OP mentioned that this project is now running for months,
this project may be running for many months now
How can they be paying this high rate to those who join their program? Any why people think it is a legit scheme and keep on depositing Shocked
1516  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Team Member - FIFA Fan Battle Token on: December 19, 2022, 04:17:35 PM
I hate it when these scam projects posted about partnerships and post logos of these partners without something to back the claims of partnerships, obviously they just want to entice people to believe that they are legit
Quote
120+ partners and counting

The name "FIFA Fan Battle Token" suggests that it will be a scam token. These people will develop an attractive site, show all sorts of fake partnerships and get fake profiles from LinkedIn to attract investors to invest in their project. Most people will fall for this scam and invest their hard earn money in these fake projects.

They even launch a bounty campaign where the reward is their shit token bounty hunters should be made aware that they are going to get a worthless token.

Most bounty campaigns are already running on this model, where they get literally free advertisements as they will give you their own tokens. I am seeing this trend for last few years and it is still continuing. I wished if the bounty campaigns were limited to btc or stable coin payment and not in the native worthless tokens.
1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 18, 2022, 06:40:46 PM
In any case, it is not a large site, nor a site with a large or good reputation. You should always be careful with such sites. I don't think you can draw a conclusion based on the layout. There are of course other gambling sites that have a layout similar to this site, but that is no reason to give an opinion. You have to look into the content of any complaints. Unfortunately, there are quite a few complaints about this gambling site on the internet.

Not quite a few but most of the feedback about 1xbit is negative. 1xbit is a scam site and it has been initiated many times here on this thread and on the forum. They will eat up your deposit and will never give you your money back. Strangely they will only pay their signature participants and you will only find their signature wearing participants promoting them.
1518  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best affiliate program via Most trusted online sports betting and casino website on: December 18, 2022, 05:26:20 PM
<snip>
How did you say that you are the most trusted casino and sports betting given that your domain was already registered this year? I undersrand that you might be aiming for that, however as also a player and a gambler myself, I prefer honesty through transparency of the casino. And as player, how can I believe that you are trusted as we do not have any data about your reputation.

By the way, are you the official representative or the owner? I suggest editing your ANN thread if so.

Every casino site considers itself the best and most trusted one. Well, the site becomes trusted only when gamblers and player give positive feedback about the site. If a new casino is good one, it will gain a trusted status very soon but it's very early to say for how Bitfair2012 will will make progress over time.

By the way, are you the official representative or the owner? I suggest editing your ANN thread if so.

Bitfair2012 is the name of the OP and also the name of the site, so i guess, he is the official representative of the site. Yes, if this is an ANN thread, the name of the site should be in the title.

350% AFTER 5 DAYS

Just look at their investment plans and you will see these are not realistic ones. How can you get 120% in only one day and 350% after 5 days. If this was legit, then everyone would have to do nothing in life and just get quick money without doing anything. Cheesy

I still wonder why people still believe these investment Ponzi schemes. Either they have too much extra money to try and bust in scams or they are too lazy to do anything constructive and think these Ponzi schemes can change their fortunes Huh

Anyways such sites are made every day and they usually scam in a few days. Some are even scammers even from day one.
