I wonder why we don't see more decentralized casinos popping up where they run without KYC
it's curious
we have way more DEX (decentralized exchanges) than casinos

not sure why

Yes. It is kinda weird that there aren't many decentralized casinos around that do not ask for KYC. I mean, we have loads of decentralized exchanges, but hardly any casinos. I am not sure why that is, but my guess is that the rules for online gambling are way stricter than for crypto trading. Plus, some people might prefer the extra security that comes with giving their ID to a traditional online casino. But who knows, maybe we will start seeing more decentralized casinos popping up as the technology gets better and more widespread.

One thing for sure is due to the oracle problem. Injecting real-world data into a blockchain where decentralization expected is a tricky issue, mainly due to the eligibility and the correctness of the data. Since it is governed by the code/smart contract if there is a dispute or a problem in the real life, we can only rely on a centralized point of data. A limited selection of games also became a problem for user acquisition, it limited the platform to offer a variety of games.
No KYC doesn't mean it's decentralised, so centralisation and KYC is completely different for now almost every trusted crypto casino is centralised so they are operating under a regulatory body and the site has to follow the guidelines of regulatory body as of now almost every regulatory body implemented KYC as mandatory to tackle money laundering by scammer which is the sole reason why we can't see a casino without KYC.
1522  Other / Meta / Re: Does the forum system skip out on updating some user activities? on: March 10, 2023, 01:39:59 PM
It is difficult to compare two users, as the 14-day times vary from user to user, depending on when that count began. If I'm not mistaken.

In addition, the number of posts that each one makes during these 14 days can be different.

14 day time frame is same for every one which is an alternative Tuesday so if someone registered before the next session even before few minutes they can get extra 14 activities if they managed to make 1 successful post and activity. In long run this is completely negligible so users no need to give attention for unnecessary things. In fact I bookmarked the activity session period years ago but can't able to find it in mobile so hopefully one of forum AIs will post it sooner. Cheesy
1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guidelines for European Online Gambling Operators on: March 09, 2023, 04:18:18 PM
Almost every country has their regulations towards gambling especially towards money laundering that is why implementation of KYC enforced even on most crypto casinos cause they also follow the gambling guidelines as per their country and it varies from one to another.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A remark on casino bonuses on: March 09, 2023, 12:52:41 PM
Enticing promo banners but tncs that make these promos largely useless and these tncs aren't obvious from looking at banners. Upon click they redirect you to login/registration page whereas I feel click on to banner should redirect user to that particular promo's tnc.
First of all the user has to logged into the gambling site for the banners to redirect to the promo page and if you see the registration page it means either you are yet to register or logged out from the browser.

Ultimate goal of promotion is to make the people to use their site so I don't think asking for registration to use their service isn't different or did I get it wrong?
1525  Other / Meta / Re: Change a topic into self-moderated retrospectively / add polls retrospectively on: March 09, 2023, 10:33:01 AM
The feature can be really great to have but I don't think it will be in the priority list of theymos so the possible solution is locking the non self moderated topic and create the new one, and if you managed to realise you want the topic to be self moderated after creating a non self moderated before any replies made then you can report your own thread to be deleted using report to moderator button and just create a new one.
1526  Economy / Economics / Re: Planning avoids unnecessary expenses on: March 09, 2023, 09:26:21 AM
Planning and avoiding are secondary things so first thing is realising what is our spending power, and cut down from the limit we used to spend will save more and these things can possible with bitter experience. I didn't spend money unnecessarily in my late teens but I was ignorant about saving money that we have and my family is also not used to budget kinda things but at one point everything exhausted during business failure and ended up as almost bankruptcy and then only I am changed and now with the help of forum gathered vast knowledge about money.
1527  Other / Archival / Re: Moderators trimmed the post counter on: March 08, 2023, 08:57:45 PM
Moderators usually merge the posts if it violates no multiple posts in a row along with a moderator's note about merge but I don't think that is what happened to your posts counts, either the number actually corrected when database update or some threads even if it's not off topic but posted in wrong board then the moderator may even delete the newly posted thread for various reasons and I do keep of my recent past history and it happened to kense well.
1528  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 08, 2023, 06:53:36 PM
Medical tourism exists everywhere and we can't pin point any particular country and say every citizen has the accessibility to highest tier medical assistance irrespective of their financial status and these stats about country and how much they spend is an average value but it can't be realistic when it comes to individual.

Finding best casino is very hard for me
I want to play with small amount but i am not getting a best casino
requirements:
1. minimum withdraw amount should be less than 10$ or 10$
2. no wager requirement before withdrawing
2. no min deposit amount
4. provably fair or live casino

Every crypto casino has minimum withdrawal limit and wagering requirement because they have to abide the AML policy of regulators and also the withdrawal fee can be certainly higher than what you are going to withdraw and do you think anyone will be withdrawing 1 dollar and paying 10 dollars as fee?

And tell us about your game preference whether it's random casino or particularly dice or slots?
1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 07, 2023, 09:43:17 PM
Snip ~
Yes, you might be aware of this as an individual but its not really that simple for you to make yourself on having no education and would be focusing into something just because you dont really like to trap up

yourself into this common life cycle on which on having that 8-5 job, but if you are really that in need and minding on how to survive then you wouldnt really be thinking about being a billionaire but rather you would really be mainly thinking on how to get a job and survive your daily living specially when you do have a family then you would really be lowering up your pride.Education is still really that much needed
because having a degree would really be putting you at advantage to get some job opportunity and the rest of opportunity grasping would really be depending on a certain individual.
I am not against the salary class people and I respect their decision about survival and being responsible but the context of this thread is what I am talking and education don't really help entrepreneurs since we are talking about them if I am not wrong.

Just my assumption though by end of 2030 no one will be really get job based on their degrees since we are at the AI era so now skill does really matter than a piece of paper called certificate of completion by spending 3 or 4 years along with tons of money on the tution fee.  Roll Eyes
1531  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 07, 2023, 08:10:24 PM
I wonder if higher education will help for entrepreneurship?
I am more interested in how much theory will help in this, because during a long study we do not get practice, this will be possible only when we start doing business, until that moment we will not be able to know how much it will help us.

This can help us if we need a license, but in some cases it can be obtained without a higher education.

Statistically, 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree or higher and I wonder, for those of you who are involved in entrepreneurship, how useful was higher education for you?
In which country we need a degree to get the required licence? All we need is money to get anything we wanted. I don't know where you read 95% of entrepreneurs have their bachelor's degree but what I read 90% of billionaires doesn't even completed their school or colleges so the higher education isn't really helping anyone to gain more knowledge, it may help in guiding us to go in the right way.

We have a few billionaires who don't have college degrees and still become billionaires, like Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg...As far as I know, they have been geniuses since they were in school, and their families are rich, so if they fail, they still have thousands of other opportunities because they have rich families. As for ordinary people like us, if we do not have a high education, it is tough to get a job, let alone become a billionaire. We are taking care of each meal every day, not comparable to the rich people from childhood, they do not need to work, just study and study until adulthood.
BTW getting a job will never let to become a billionaire, we need to work more than 100 years and save the salary completely without spending it so it means all the billionaires doesn't become one as being an employee.

Getting a college degree is nothing but wasting our valuable time from a billionaire's POV and many said that too so skill is important to make money and the education system then getting a decent job will only lead to lifetime trap cycle.

Do you think it was a good idea by Snoop Dog to become the partner of an illegal crypto currency online casino?

What do you mean by an illegal casino? Roobet isn't an illegal casino and FYI its completely regulated even have mandatory KYC policy for AML so be clear what you are accusing about.

Casinos operating without a license are illegal casinos!

The 8048/JAZ license is not valid for crypto currencies.

As you claim they have a license and are regulated, please show it?

The license is for conducting gambling activities and it has no relation with mode of payment, if you want to validate the licence then just do it on your own and you need to prove they have invalid licence since its coming out of you and how can you throw such accusation against one of the biggest crypto gambling operator? Don't be silly!

The best thing to do is to ignore this sad little troll, and others like him, who don't even know how to read the terms of use of the platform. Don't give them any attention. Roobet has proved that it's a legit and fair casino, so a random troll on the forum making baseless accusations won't affect Roobet's reputation as a trusted site.

Usually I don't feed trolls but this is particularly targeted about current ongoing even so what if a random newbie read this and trusted those words so I just come up with explanation and waiting for his reply but he proved he is nothing but trolling just like every other casino.

Snoop Dogg is an interesting character and surely will create an attraction in the online platforms and I hope this will lead the casino towards further progression and more customers.
1536  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: March 04, 2023, 05:55:18 PM
What you stated is about the mind set of typical working class person who wants to express themselves as more rich than what they are and this is also happening due to their work style inflation which means even if their salary is appreciation they keep adding unnecessary expenses to match the life style of others and ofcourse thats how many people are living and who wants to get rich then they have to be an exception and start saving then make the money work for us there is no other way than realizing this and start making changes.
1537  Other / Meta / Re: Reducing website load when you want to login to your Bitcointalk account. on: March 04, 2023, 04:39:29 PM
Bitcointalk search speed is mainly depends on using the right keywords and it loads faster when you choose the particular board. Banned users posts still has value and removing them will create chaos in the database if I am not wrong and for faster search we have Google which is recommended when we use the more common keywords.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool full? Long transaction times + fees x10! on: March 03, 2023, 06:28:14 PM
Is there any particular reason for this to happen? Usually this happens when exchanges consolidate their wallets but I don't think any such thing is happening now so is this from any individual to lower the transaction speeds of other while they were in the price manipulation process? Maybe my query look stupid but that is what sparked in my mind about this.
1539  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who is Ratimov? on: March 03, 2023, 04:00:45 PM
He is an active contributor of bitcointalk community even he gave me most number of merits from all my merits earned as per https://bpip.org/Profile?p=Findingnemo so it shows he encourages everyone who is contributing something to the forum and he may noticed you were lacking 50 merits to next rank but deserved to reach so he poured you what he can.

Gambling board isn't a place where much merits were distributed but surely there will be rewards for worthy posts in any board no matter what so don't keep yourself low and keep moving your next goal which is legendary.
1540  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is not trash on: March 03, 2023, 01:39:49 AM
Fiat isn't trash its just a trap, you said it clearly you need cash to buy anything in the Store and government created an ecosystem in that way and renewing the new papers may have other intentions too which can't be exposed to fellow citizens.

However imagine if we adopted decentralized money like bitcoin then any order from government can't stop us from using and that is the freedom and money is supposed to give us that freedom.

But we are not the ones in authority, we are like sheep to follow their shepherd (government).  So even if we adopted decentralized money, if the government banned it, it will become useless in our country.  Cash or fiat money even though have a deflationary value, at least it will stay unlike the majority of cryptocurrencies that can be rug pulled or abandoned by the developer anytime.  Even the most liquid, Bitcoin, we are unsure if it will last another decade or not.
Why do we really need to care about our government approval when we are already adopted and make payments with decentralized crypto which can be bitcoin or any other thing which is not under control of anyone.

Most cryptocurrencies created with no purpose other than making money for the Creator but not entirely such as Bitcoin and we know even Satoshi isn't sure about how people will approach the decentralized money but his vision is getting visible but still a long way to go and I am sure bitcoin is here to stay until we have something better than decentralized money.
