We may release the wallet and source code with the proxy options and instructions on how to cheat to make it fair for everyone.
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 28, 2014, 04:19:06 AM
The faucet should be good now. We were trying to stop cheaters but it doesn't seem to have worked. Sorry.
1523  Other / Off-topic / Re: How often do you check bitcoin price? on: December 28, 2014, 03:54:32 AM
About once or twice a fortnight.
1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: December 28, 2014, 02:09:37 AM
I have updated AMD miner. Now it is as simple as just starting the miner on the same machine as wallet (at least if your wallet is not password protected, I plan to simplify mining for this case as well).
http://spreadcoin.net/files/Spread-GPU-miner.7z
No configuration is required. You need wallet version at least 0.9.15.2 for this no-configuration trick to work.

If you need some special settings (e.g. you want to run miner on a different machine) then you still need to do some configuration via spreadcoin.conf.

For your safety, always check before downloading that all executable files released by me are hosted on spreadcoin.net and never download from quoted posts, other users may modify links there.
How can they modify the links? Wink

What settings do you use?

Hey guys I can get ~2.4 MHash/s if I put the intensity on 20. Is there a way to get more?

280X?
Its a 290X.

Can someone please confirm FndToNewFndBurnAddressXXXXXXWXXnTA is really the swap address?  Huh

I ask this coz it doesn't look like a standard address and doesn't match with the exchange address, FhKKwkwbq3m5VGCDsQjdZmhK1TmxBHHEaT, shown on the OP.
The exchange address is the address which holds the FindCoins that will be exchanged. The other address is really the swap address. Since no one owns the private key the coins get "burned". This proves we won't sell the coins for Bitcoin.
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 27, 2014, 04:46:12 AM
Just downloaded the wallet, how can i get the free coins? I can't find the in-wallet faucet.
The coins get sent out every hour. You just need to leave your wallet open.

Also, somehow the staking just kicked in. I think I may know what is wrong.

/// sorry for google translate///

и вообще... думаю, что новый дев - старый дев. Не все получилось - мало получил btc.
and in general ... I think that the new virgins - old virgins. Not everything worked out - got a little btc.

dev FindYouCoin alive? or a new group?"

через некоторое время после сообщения, группа в twitter была переименована с FindYouCoin на FIND_Coin
some time after the message, the group was renamed to twitter with FindYouCoin on FIND_Coin
(https://twitter.com/FIND_Coin)

последние новые 3-4 сообщения в twitter были от старого дев
new last 3-4 posts to twitter were from the old virgins

думаю что новый дев, это тот же человек....
I think that the new virgins, this is the same person ....
Google translate messed up. Lol. Virgins.

Using Ubuntu 32bit
when I ./Wrapper I get:

Code:
./FindCoin-qt: relocation error: /home/.../FINDcoin/Findcoin-Ubuntu/Findcoin/Libs/libc.so.6: symbol _dl_find_dso_for_object, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file ld-linux.so.2 with link time reference

Any simple fix for this?
https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2014/06/msg01293.html states that "reinstalling libc6-i686 should fix it." Have a look there and tell me if that helps. I believe what you want is sudo apt-get upgrade glibc
make sure to do sudo apt-get update first!

Hey everyone. I think I remember something about stake not working when the max stake age was infinite. We at FindCoin are having the same problem. Could you please tell us how you fixed the problem?

Maybe you didn't even have this problem. I can't really remember.
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 27, 2014, 01:12:34 AM

Yeah there's something wrong with the staking. Quadmium is having a look over the code right now.
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 27, 2014, 12:58:48 AM
Good point, I deleted my post as I realized I already gave too much info I suggest to do the same since you quoted me.

Hehehe you have a nice computer there:
root@jewbuntu:/home/xxx/Downloads/64Bit# curl ifconfig.me

Lol!

That is pretty funny.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 26, 2014, 10:22:52 PM
I managed to run two instances of Findcoin, one via my regular internet and another via socks5 proxy using ssh dynamic tunnel forking the ./FindCoin-qt binary with socksify as a different user. I have no intention to cheat the distribution system but I believe the community should be aware of this. Screenshot bellow.

The other one is out of sync. Please provide more solid proof. I can do exactly what you have done but it never connects to anyone else.

Also, there is a bounty for a block explorer + rich list. I understand you will need the source code to do this?
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SPR] SpreadCoin | True Decentralization (No Pools) on: December 26, 2014, 09:56:10 PM
Wow, the price just went down a lot and it was only 1.9k! I guess there weren't many buys.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 26, 2014, 09:43:09 PM

I hope nothing bad happened to HunterMinerCrafter. I hope he comes back.

Yes, we can make a signature contest, I'm figuring out what is the best way to organize it.
Here is a rough plan:
1. I will create an address where everyone can donate coins which will go to the winner of the signature contest.
2. Submission period (say, 1 week). Designers are submitting their signatures, others are donating coins.
3. Voting period (1 week).
4. I send coins to the winner.

Waiting for two weeks may seem too long, maybe we should do it faster, but then less people will participate and vote.
The other problem is that people can start using not only winning signature but also other signatures but their authors will not get any reward for this.

What do you think?
I like this idea but again being the NoobKidOnTheBlock has it's disadvantages like what is a signature? and how do I design one? because I would love to partake in this little partay Wink lol but seriously if someone could answer these questions that would be greatly appreciated and great to wake up to almost 50k SpreadCoin this morning Wink when my money almost doubles overnight I love that shit Smiley but it's at the same time depressing because I wanted to pick up some more SpreadCoin in the 30k region Sad
See how under your posts there is your donation addresses? That is your signature. If you want to know how to design one then just search on this forum for "signature campaign" and find one. There will be lots of code and that is a signature that use can use. They normally have lots of colour to attract attention. See the one I have.

is the wallet for test is the same as the wallet for real chain
i mean i won't have to download wallets again ?
just wait for launch with this wallet ?
This is the final wallet and is on the real chain. You won't need to redownload the wallets.
