561  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and how it is in different countires on: November 04, 2015, 08:17:41 AM
I think once most countries legalise bitcoins the countries on this list will also legalise it.
Otherwise they are just staying behind the curve, like Russia and the 5 year plan.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 04, 2015, 08:15:47 AM
I'm going to save my bitcoins to at least $10,000 USD each and then sell half and then fund college.
I think this is such a good opportunity and I'm taking it.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ways to keep bitcoin safe. on: November 04, 2015, 08:11:37 AM
Also DO NOT use an iOS devices to store you bitcoin as they have been 0-day'd.
Thats right, a bounty of $1 000 000 has been claimed by a group of hackers who have managed to break into the iOS security system via the web browser (safari).
The exploits used to accomplish this task were sold to a firm who will now (probably) sell these exploits to the government.

Read more about it here: http://motherboard.vice.com/read/somebody-just-won-1-million-bounty-for-hacking-the-iphone
564  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: November 04, 2015, 08:06:15 AM
If I lost it to being hacked, then I wouldn't know what to do because I would have so much security on it.
I guess I would just take another approach to whatever security I had and hope for the best.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Internet Of Blockchains on: November 04, 2015, 08:02:33 AM
Yep, it looks pretty cool and great but what is to stop... incriminating content from appearing on everyone's computer?

Also, would it be easier for viruses to get into people's computer?
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To The Moon on: November 04, 2015, 07:59:45 AM
Yes, I freaking getting pretty pissed off by this.
This sounds like something the dogecoin community would say, and I think they're all 15 year olds.

It really does sound childish and stupid.
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Output Volume.... what the... please explain on: November 04, 2015, 07:57:16 AM
a party repeatedly sending the same 25K coins back to themselves as change

https://blockchain.info/tx/fe7bab4ce584bdcbfdce9ba92a7cd39736171a885ba86f1e170a667646fe4eb9

Did they do it like 440 times? That is still a lot of coins, do you think just 25 000 bitcoins made 11 000 000 bitcoins worth of transaction volume?
568  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: People New to Bitcoin Must Read. Best Satoshi Rewarding Websites on: November 04, 2015, 07:53:53 AM
I mean that's great and all but I bet that you could make more bitcoin in the long term if you made an account on this forum and get paid for making posts.
I already know you guys know about this website. That is why i didnt put it as an option. Smiley Smiley Smiley
Well some new people (which is this post's target audience) won't know about it.
So why not tell them about it?

They look the same?
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do with 1,000,000 Bitcoin on: November 03, 2015, 08:19:05 PM
I would create a faucet where people can get 1 Bitcoin each time. I know it'll crash the market anyway but it'll be so fun to watch.
572  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Declared Illegal In Taiwan on: November 03, 2015, 09:54:30 AM
I'm pretty sure they're just using the kidnapping as an excuse to ban Bitcoin. This is actually bullshit when so many people are being held up with fiat.
573  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 03, 2015, 12:46:20 AM
What happened to the old money pot website where there was a graph and you had to cash out before it crashed?
That domain and website is now known as "bustabit".

You can go to the website to find it again.
Ah awesome. The owner gave me 0.028 one time. It was awesome.
I also one a bet of 2 bits x 120. That was fun.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My goal to earn 1,000bitcoins within 3years on: November 03, 2015, 12:42:33 AM
You know how you can increase your earnings.Create a blog, write your story, people love history like that
You can share your FB ,than signe your blog to BitTeaser  or similar service ,you will have additional earnings from advertisment
I would love to read a blog about updates on your story. if possible make a youtube channel that people can check up on.
I personally know that I have a 0% chance of getting 1000 coins in 3years unless i convert my job income to bitcoin.
I wonder is someone could do the math and find the probability that he will make 1000 bitcoins.
I am assuming it'll be something like 0.0000002% Smiley
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: November 03, 2015, 12:30:22 AM
Stock exchange I think is better than gambling because if you're smart enough you can consistently win. It just takes longer but it is less risky.
576  Economy / Gambling / Re: After losing all your Bitcoin on: November 03, 2015, 12:26:12 AM
I feel angry with myself. So I made myself never do it again. But sometimes I do but only with 0.02 just for fun.

578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the original Satoshi account on here? on: November 03, 2015, 12:09:40 AM
Either it's me who can't find it through the forum's search function or it's not there any more.

I remember having seen it here before though and read some of the posts he was making in the beginning of this forum. Wanted to go back and read some of them for nostalgia but it's nowhere.

On a related note:

What would you say to him/her/them if the account in question started being active on these forums again or made an AMA?Smiley

You should use members->search members function instead. Or just look for the one with tag founder:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

Satoshi made an appearance recently to say he is not Dorian Nakamoto.

And if his account is active again first I'll want to be sure that he is himself, if his email has been compromised, his account may be too in the future

I doubt that actually was satoshi that "appeared" again. It was probably just a hacker guy trying to make the price rise or maybe fall, because that's what I would assume would happen.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo who wants a free million bitcoins? on: November 03, 2015, 12:04:47 AM
Well that's awesome! Actually a bit disappointing that they're unspendable. If they weren't would you have given them out for free? What would you have done? Smiley

that would instantly crash the bitcoin market and make many of us poor.
Yeah, but if he just destroyed the coins and the decs fixed the exploit then I guess it wouldn't crash.
