The 2 sites mentioned so far are good, but if you are looking for more, you can try out poker at Nitrogensports. You can see their bitcointalk announcement thread here.

For those looking to play a bitcoin lottery, it seems like there's a new site that has just been released by the makers of moneypot; www.pevpot.com. You can view their bitcointalk thread here.

1525  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want play ! on: November 12, 2015, 03:33:17 AM

999dice.com scam ?
I like to play in 999dice although many people say scam. you have to prove yourself

The reason why you're winning on 999dice is because you probably don't bet too big amounts, so you're relatively safe; they probably don't manipulate your results as there's not really a gain to be made because you don't bet mass amounts of BTC. 999dice's "provably fair" can't be verified so your bets can be easily manipulated by the owner. (See here)
1526  Economy / Gambling / Re: why 999dice.com scam ? on: November 12, 2015, 03:18:14 AM
If you bet small amounts and not frequently, I don't think you'll be affected by the cheating as it's only a small amount, but if you bet with big amounts watch out as like others have said, he can change the results anytime. If you want a site with a low house edge, try SharpDice; they have a 0.1% house edge.
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any true blockchain based gambling game ? on: November 12, 2015, 03:07:27 AM
Like others I don't specifically know what you mean by "true blockchain based gambling game", but I'll assume that you are talking about a game that counts on numbers from blockchain bitcoin transactions to win. If so, try satoshinonce.com, I'm not sure if the site is still active, (I think it is as there are still bets ongoing on the site) but if it is active I think this might be what you're looking for.
1528  Economy / Gambling / Re: TappaBit.com V2.0 | Introducing Spin & Tap Tournaments | Win up to 0.15 BTC on: November 12, 2015, 03:03:24 AM
Cool, is the adding/subtracting randomly 0-200 ms a new feature? (I haven't played in quite a while) I think that this feature is great and will clear up some worries for people who are concerned that they will lose their money due to others using bots.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which game you like most to play gambling on Bitcoin ?? on: November 12, 2015, 02:40:50 AM
I would really like to play PvP games; unfortunately there aren't many and the ones that exist don't have a big userbase. I guess that's the problem with PvP games; you need someone to play against.
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 12, 2015, 02:33:47 AM
If Gambling was not introduced then many people have to do the hard work for earning money.

I am pretty sure the opposite is true. Most people lose money gambling. So if gambling never existed or was illegal people would have more money. It wouldn't be a form of addiction.

The casinos however would lose some money.

True, but maybe if gambling was not introduced, people would seek out alternate methods of entertainment that would possibly more harmful. It's unfortunately in human nature.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 12, 2015, 02:29:35 AM
Depends on what strategy are you going to use. Some strategy will not work to you but some will work to you so I say it depends on you
I dont think the rolls are gonna check who is gambling and see which strategy suites him or is against him ?
all fail for all.

I'm going to assume that Erza is talking about poker, not dice. In dice it is purely based on luck, so you will always lose in the long term as you have mentioned. However, if you have enough skill, you can win in the long term at poker.
I dont think so cause he mentioned DICE as a special case and also his other quote was for dice odds " 1.11 and 1.02 "
even with professional skills people lose at poker many times...not a general case.

Yeah, many professionals lose at poker many times, but they make more than they lose, so they are still in profit. Of course, not everyone can pull this off and amateurs who don't know how to play poker shouldn't jump in and play for profit right away.

1533  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2015, 04:32:15 AM
I bet and lost a few BTC in October before it shot up to $1000.  at least I was less mad when it came back down..
That how gambling works. But its not the worst mistake scheme. The worst mistake is we did not buy a single bitcoin when the price 1$  Tongue

When Bitcoin was $1 no one had heard of it, it wasn't very well known. I know that when Bitcoin was $1, I had never ever heard of Bitcoin, so it doesn't bother me too much. What does bother me is that I heard of Bitcoin when it was ~$150, but I didn't check it out or decide to get involved. Still wondering if I could have made a big profit if I had immediately taken up Bitcoin once I had heard of it.

if gambling was not intoduced in this time it will be very hard to collect bitcoin because it will be no signature campaign Tongue and people will not lose there money and don't get angry and stressed from the result of there picks so the life will be a little easy for someone and hard for others Wink

Is there any connection between gambling was not introduced and hard to collect bitcoin? I dont think you are making any sense here. Before bitcoin is even founded people already gamble and they still can get money from gambling too or some of them lose so it has nothing to do with earning bitcoin here. The campaign is made for the purpose of promotion not for earning actually but when bitcoin is found they make changing by paying us to help them promote

I think that he means that without gambling, there wouldn't be many signature campaigns to join as most of the campaigns are promoting gambling sites. Without any gambling sites to promote in our signature, there would be a lot less variety of signature campaigns, making it harder to find work to earn bitcoin.
That is not a valid reason as i dont think more than 1% of bitcoin users are making coins from signature campaign's. specially Gambling sig's
sig's are not work/job it's just a promotion event with free coupon's.

To the contrary, I think many bitcoin users are making bitcoin from signature campaigns. Most of the forum is wearing a signature, and there are very many active users on this forum. While people may not be making a large amount of bitcoin, I do think that many people make some bitcoin from signature campaigns, especially gambling signatures as most of the signature campaigns are promoting a gambling site, for example, you and me are both wearing signatures for a gambling site.

Safe way to gamble? just play on those known and with good reputation gambling sites rather than those newly launched sites and you'll be fine. Don't try to experiment and try to discover new gambling sites as we are talking about money here, that is if you wan't to play safe.

Your advice is valid, though I think OP is talking about gambling without losing, not getting scammed by new gambling sites running off with money. Newly launched sites are fine if they use the moneypot API, as with the moneypot API they can't really run off with the money as it is a 3rd party.

1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 08, 2015, 03:20:25 AM
A possible safe way for gambling is to play with faucet money or with btc's from givaways. In this case if you lose everything you won't lose your money. There is no strategy that works 100%.

Are you sure it is a safe method? What you said is not a method but instead your asking to play with free money getting from these faucet sites. After you earn those coin then it become your coins and it is no more free coins they paid you for your time. There is no safe method in gambling.

It is a safe method, as you don't lose anything, however this method is usually not used as it is painfully slow and you'd probably earn just a few cents; the cost of electricity would probably be more than what you would earn with this method.
1540  Other / New forum software / Re: A paid shoutbox on: November 08, 2015, 03:18:47 AM
I'm not sure about this personally. What would be stopping someone with a decent amount of bitcoin from spamming a message in the chat box? Even with member restrictions, I can't see it stopping anything unless it was similar to the 'Important Announcement' section where only VIPs and staff can post there.

Also, the people running the forum do get paid. The forum sells advertisements that goes towards forum upkeep and paying staff members.

I think that these posts would have to be looked over by forum staff, or maybe limit users to buy one message a day to prevent spam. I think that this is a decent idea though, and perhaps should be implemented.
