1101  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MiniFaucet Script (a MyFaucet replacement) on: March 26, 2016, 05:13:36 AM
Not sure if this question has been asked before, (I don't want to read through 14 pages) but what is the advantage of using this script over a faucetbox script? Also, is it possible to change a faucet that is running on the faucetbox API to this script?
1102  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How kick-off bot at faucet? on: March 26, 2016, 05:08:41 AM
Wich script are you using?

Would you pay to solve your problem?

Are you selling a custom script you made? How much are you selling it for, and how does it prevent bots?
1103  Economy / Gambling / Re: From faucet to smoething? on: March 26, 2016, 04:00:31 AM
You can try my faucet:

http://bitcoinshowers.com/btcgame/

It's a provably fair dice game you can play with free satoshis we give you. You might get lucky and gamble your way to a big win!

There are also other sites similar to mine, you can check them out as well, where you can gamble with free satoshis they give you. Good luck!

1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: March 26, 2016, 03:58:50 AM
Probably yes, as I gamble mainly for fun, so being rich wouldn't affect me that much. I might do it less though, as there isn't that much of a point gambling while rich. Also, if I was rich, I would probably want to hold onto my money.
1105  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How kick-off bot at faucet? on: March 26, 2016, 03:56:22 AM
i always set payment manually to prevent something like people that use bot, TOR, proxy and etc. This method may take time but at least someone can't get money without effort easily
By this method how can you to know the different between bot, tor, proxy etc... and  a regular user?
checking visitor's ip in my hosting and referral reward that user get , i know how pattern that people try to cheating some faucet with refferal reward if i found something unusual, i will hold payment for the address.
but it will be rather difficult if someone use VPN that not detected as a proxy, and some VPN services have these features

Its better to lower referral commission.

Not necessarily, referral commission can be a good thing, as it encourages people to promote your faucet. The important thing is to find a way to prevent bots, which is difficult and probably the hardest part of being a faucet owner.
1106  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How kick-off bot at faucet? on: March 23, 2016, 12:11:31 AM
you should look around your admin panel, there's an option "allow bots to claim? yes/no", choose "no".

Where is this feature? I am a faucet owner myself and I can't find this feature anywhere.

Here is my design. I have chosen to put an emphasis on two things: the red/green bar graphs and a message to instantly let users know what your site is, and why they should use it.

Your site has handy bar graphs to show the fluctuation of the prices of altcoins to BTC, so I put an emphasis on them. Also, I think they look nice, both on your site and in this signature ad.

When advertising, people instantly need to know what the site is, and what it is about, so I put a large message to instantly tell users what your site is about, and what it offers.

The "Try Our Dice" text links to the dice part of your website.

Any changes or modifications can be done.

Cheers!

Variant of full member and member coming soon.

EDIT:

Here is my variation of the full member and member signature. Cheers!

Once again, thank you for sharing this script and continuing to support it.

Just one question, I'm trying to test my dice site at bitcoinshowers.com/btcgame/, it says that it detects a duplicate IP and won't let me claim. Why is this caused, and is there a way that I can manually whitelist my own IP? Thanks.

Google has updated their captcha system, do we continue to use the old keys, or do we have to integrate anything new in the faucetbox script?

I am sure google will notify you if you must change your keys.
But what is the update about? I haven't heard about it yet.

I actually haven't read what the update does yet, but today I logged into my recaptcha account and instead of giving me a public key, it gave me some code. The old keys still work for now, but I'm wondering if faucetbox will update to accommodate this.

I just checked my recaptcha admin page and I didn't see anything new.

Did the code look like this?
<script src='https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js'></script>
<div class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="6LcP2hGFSKGGGGMjzciDw0rFuFGH679fjajRJ_dduX"></div>

I'm not sure if I missed something, but I checked and recaptcha only displayed a private key, not a public one. (I'm still using my old public key though) It's possible that I missed something, I'll go over it again.
1117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshidice fair or not ? on: March 17, 2016, 05:25:29 AM
Ok iv'e read everyone's opinions. I hear what you guys are saying but are you sure there is not a way to fake the provably fair ?

only if you verify it. They for instance could selectively be ripping people off. If you want to prove it was fair, you need to verify the games for yourself.

They could also be using some elaborate system.

See this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948965

999dice hid their non-provably fair system really well, it was so well done most if not all users didn't notice.

However, this is extremely rare as they have more to gain by staying then by running with user's money.

1118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Block-Roulette - Bet on the next bitcoin block on: March 17, 2016, 05:20:24 AM
Cool site, I like the idea, however I have a few questions:

http://block-roulette.bit doesn't seem to work for me when I click on the link, however the other two links are working. You might want to look into this.

Are the croupiers real people, or bots?

I will play on this site, but I think that the confirmation thing will take a bit long IMO. Do you have any plans to maybe store funds on your site?

Hi, the dot bit address is a domain on the namecoin system replacement for legacy DNS.  If you aren't set up to use that, it won't work.

The croupiers are closely monitored bots.

Yeah the wait is annoying but that seems unavoidable, if we are sticking with the model of only using the next block as the determination of the result.  There are no plans at this point to store user funds or to have any login system.  I've seen too many betting sites have problems or disappear to want to be involved with that possibility.

Thanks for your comments -

Do you think you can make a system where it doesn't need one confirmation? For example, luckyb.it doesn't need any confirmations to place the bet.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or offline gambling at a casino ? on: March 17, 2016, 04:43:23 AM
I prefer online gambling, as there is less of a house edge

It is actually pretty much the same because online gambling games is the replication of the offline gambling or land casino. There is no difference at all between an online poker or real poker , or online blackjack with a las vegas blackjack so there is no changes to the house edge, it is still there and pretty much the same

Actually, for some games there are. For example, slots. Online casinos have more expenses then offline casinos, so they cannot offer the same payout percentages with their slot machines as those you would find at online casinos. Not all online casinos have a higher edge than offline casinos, but there are a few. Also, there are sites like safedice.com where the house edge is only 0.5, I don't think you'd be able to find those odds easily at an online casino.

Don't purchase bad idea

Why? Have you bought the ebook? If so, maybe leave a more detailed review as to why we should not buy. I'd like to see more reviews on this method.
