1521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not use your phone number for crypto registration and other crypto related th on: October 06, 2022, 03:57:18 PM
Would it already be a problem we can encounter if you provided cell phone numbers to someone? I’m asking this. Because there have been a lot of scam texts in my country that annoy me, and if they know my number, would it be a problem? I don’t see how they would be able to use or hack a Sim by just knowing your number. It would be a problem for everyone who has been compromised to know their numbers and names.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: October 06, 2022, 01:23:24 PM
There are a lot of online gambling crypto websites that have been existing for a long time now, and a lot of members have already mentioned it in their posts. I don’t know what you mean by you don’t see projects that have survived because there is a lot. None of the trusted casinos have been scammed, but there are issues, of course, but they can be resolved for sure. Just look at members signatures. There are a lot.
1523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Biden team asks congress for clearer crypto regulation on: October 06, 2022, 09:10:12 AM
Almost all countries are pointing toward adopting cryptocurrencies, so that's probably why they would want to be ahead with all the crypto regulation happening with the government. I hope they can already decide what regulatory framework they will apply to the crypto market. Additionally, with the stablecoin issuers to comply with, that should be the key.

This is good news for the people who have been scammed and hopefully get back somehow with what they lost. With everything happening, it's better to be safe with regulations because that's how it will get people into the crypto community again.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Some People think that long term Bitcoin holding is a dumb idea? on: October 06, 2022, 08:01:08 AM
People who say something like that only look at a small part of the whole picture. They probably think they can time the market with all the opportunities it gives, and just dollar cost averaging bitcoin is a bad idea. That is just a short-term mindset; we need to be looking forward.

If the holders had sold their positions, they wouldn’t have probably been where they are now, enjoying the fruits of holding it.

To make it easier, just do what you want, believe in, and don't care about what other people say.
1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: October 05, 2022, 04:29:31 PM
If you are looking for faster returns on your investment treating definitely, capital will bring more money to you because of the percentage that you have in your winning trades. The more significant the amount, the larger the percentage of that winning trade that you will have. When you compare two different capitals with the same gain, of course, the one with the higher capital would have more money, even if they have that same percentage.

It’s the amount that you could keep by controlling your risk and exposure that would make you a successful trader, not just the capital.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos by categories on: October 05, 2022, 04:11:49 PM
Oh, I liked the on-chain casinos when it was still a thing. I remember playing in Direct Bet, if anybody remembers it As well. I have placed multiple beds there, and I also managed to win some. It was straightforward and at that time, it’s direct to your wallet with your winnings. I’m not sure why it’s closed, though. Was it because of licensing or something? If anybody remembers
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 05, 2022, 09:23:27 AM
I think everyone who has tried gambling and who has researched somewhat came across with Martingale strategy. For sure, using this method, somehow someway everyone has experienced a winning time and also a losing time. And when you have that losing streak, that’s going to be the most challenging feeling and make you question your actions if you are going to continue gambling or not.

Then you will realise it’s just going to be by luck and you can’t really take advantage of a strategy since it still has a possibility to lose. Be careful and control your money.
1528  Other / Archival / Re: Q4 2022. What to expect from bitcoin? on: October 05, 2022, 02:31:48 AM
I believe that what would happen with the price in the short term is it would still stay in the range of 13500 ~ 16000. A lot of people might be expecting that there would be a bull run since it's the holiday season, and a lot of people would have money. With the end of the year, it could still be in the 20k range or maybe lower.

It's not supposed to be a big deal to have consecutive quarters on the red since it happened with the green. It can occur in the red as well. It's optimistic to see it in the longer term, but it wouldn't be for a short time.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Senator Says 'I Love That Bitcoin Can't Be Stopped' on: October 04, 2022, 05:17:28 PM
To have someone with power like Lummis supporting cryptocurrency in general, it’s one of the things that we shouldn’t take for granted. A lot of people should understand how you could take advantage of crypto in terms of  loss of value of your money. I hope a lot of people would follow her footsteps.
1530  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits limit my betting limits (Becausue I consistenly winning) on: October 04, 2022, 03:01:30 PM
Are they considering something that they have data with? Like a calculation or computation with the amount of bet in dollars divided by total bets? Or something like that to see some factor or parameter for checking if it's somewhat unusual or abnormal in a standard setting? Or is it just a random thing they have to experience once in a while when losing?
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 04, 2022, 09:20:17 AM
Marketing is essential for any project you are into, and you need to consider knowing that you are in to get business and money for it. Since we are in a bear market, you still have to promote your project, so there's always that cost because it will affect your project as a whole. Marketing is always essential with anything.

That's going to be a risk that they are going to take, knowing that you need to market it and at the same time give payments to the bounty hunters. If they still have time and think it's worth investing, why not?

If there are projects you think would be worth it, do so. Just don't expect too much at the start.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: it can affect the price of bitcoin? on: October 04, 2022, 05:14:35 AM
Everything that a person does in the market, whether it's buy or sell can affect the market, whether it's minute volume or very large amount. As long as it's seen in a smaller timeframe or something, someone could've seen the move and maybe interpret it in someway or form that it could be a bullish sign or bearish one. It's always speculation when predicting prices.
1533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DONT GIVE ME FISH on: October 03, 2022, 03:12:44 PM
So you are saying that many people with a lot of eagerness to learn about wealth would need the assistance with it to obtain wealth? It's like you're asking for a coach or something.

There are many ways to have higher returns, but it will most likely be harder to have more risk to have that kind of return. Don't you think so? Many people are into teaching people about trading, and then you need to be more patient and become accustomed to trading itself.
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: October 03, 2022, 01:11:05 PM
Where are your insights OP? You said you are going to propose and share yours. Maybe you can summarise everything that has been said here in the topic, and that’s how you could make this thread helpful.

There a lot of projects that could have a future it’s just that it needs to have a lot of supporters in order to have more people coming in and investing in the project.

Personally, I’m looking at NFT projects that are early on, like Illuvium.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 03, 2022, 01:02:27 PM
It’s impressive that it has become a pattern with results that are divisible by nine. a pattern with results that are divisible by nine. It’s probably really rare, but maybe it’s just really what shows in the results. If they were to rig it or something, that would’ve been a scam by a group of people, making them a lot of money out of nowhere.

if it even was rigged, they should be punished.
1536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 03, 2022, 10:51:59 AM
Having a personal strategy would be beneficial because knowing what you want and how you are going to execute this idea so that if the strategy doesn’t work out with the current market, it is only you who would be responsible for it in these times a thing, it’s better to have that kind of acceptance every time you have a loss.

Personally I’m using a trading bot  that uses an optimized strategy and have been tested by multiple users, which is already a great benchmark. I think what you need to do is that you have to have multiple strategies for different markets so it’s better to determine where and what market are we in and then decide from there.
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: October 02, 2022, 04:35:05 PM
What a great race by Sergio Perez. Probably his best in all of his career, knowing that he led the race from start to finish is amazing. He definitely deserves the driver of the day as well.

Anybody who was stressed as well with everything that has happened on the Singapore GP? Having a lot of DNFS etc? A lot has happened really and a lot of safety cars.
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 02, 2022, 12:54:28 PM
If you are looking for ways to maximize the profit, then trading would be the case because you could trade in the futures market, which would be beneficial if you were to predict that it’s going to be a bearish market. It would put in a short and then probably profit from it. And it’s also the same, where is a bullish market that you could go long to say that you are predicting that it could go higher with the price.
1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency information surface collection on: September 30, 2022, 02:24:39 PM
There are a lot of telegram groups that are going to give you great information relating to cryptocurrency news. Probably the things that you could check out are linked below.

You could go with the news, but the information might be too late to act on. It's not wrong to go with the news, but you must act fast.
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $CRAMER Coin on: September 30, 2022, 03:58:45 AM
I wonder why people keep on following his advice, though. It just really boggles my mind on it. Maybe because of his consistency of inconsistency in making the bad trades made him want to be followed and wait for that *finally* moment. Don't you think so?

Because CNBC keeps putting him on TV basically. They keep giving him credibility and introducing him to millions of new suckers on a monthly basis.
Yeah that's really the thing about media. Anyone who is exposed to something like Jim on TV and millions who have no idea tends to follow it blindly. Now that I think about it, it is the old-school way of those "signals" now being portrayed everywhere with Telegram channels, etc.
