Any chance you can add a "hover" or a decimal point to the reputation score?   Smiley
1542  Other / Off-topic / Re: Matrix — A witchcraft system used by satan to blind, weaken & control people on: December 04, 2020, 01:56:04 AM
If you keep sinning and stop believing in your true CREATOR, HE cuts you away from HIS tree/path and cast you unto the kingdom darkness, satan's power. Satan then has control over you and begin to use you to Bewitched/deceive/mind-control others to imprison them also in the matrix.

Ah, the old scare tactics.

(I'm serious with this post)

If I make it big, I want to build a temple in Edmonton for worshippers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.    Church is a great place to socialize, but the brainwashing always kept me away.

This way I get to make fun of the gullible fools while enjoying all the benefits, such as no taxation.  Smiley

Free spaghetti will be served to all those who hunger.

Clearly a marketing stunt.

It's been done before.
1545  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a $300 USDT, ETH or BTC Loan on: December 04, 2020, 12:46:33 AM
Take it or leave it. It means no difference to me. I have never ripped anyone off and do not plan to.

You may want to lock this thread then - unless you are in the habit of giving away interest for no reason.

Will pay Loan + 10% interest!  I am in a tight spot with Christmas coming short on a few bills!

P.S. to everyone - don't go into debt to prove you love your family/friends.

Well, the British Medical Journal says hospital admissions and deaths are uncommon (remember that the global mortality is below 1%).

Yes, it is not killing many directly, but the symptoms can be dangerous and it can kill much more easily if there is no hospital available due to overcrowding.

Many more people are going to die from the financial crisis the virus caused.  :/

I roll my eyes when people mention that masks did nothing to prevent the Spanish Flu, because the masks in 1918 were so porous you could see the holes in them.
1547  Other / Meta / Re: Forum advertising DeFi totally-not-scams on: December 04, 2020, 12:36:08 AM
TBH I didn't hear "decentralized finance" much until this recent token wave started and I don't think it's associated with Bitcoin, or at least not more than "crypto = scam = Bitcoin" association that's already out there due to ransomware etc.

Me neither.  But we have been in crypto for years.  We associate DeFi to tokens and gaming.

But think about the average person on the street.  Explain how bitcoin works and the term "Decentralized Finance" describes it perfectly.

1548  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 🔥Bitcoin Wars | BitcoinWars.io | A 3D Modular Multiplayer Bitcoin Game 🔥 on: December 04, 2020, 12:25:19 AM
There is over 106,000 lines of code in the last count and I have been programming this since the beginning, so I respectfully request that you not compare our months of work to "a basic 3D environment".

Did you know that 82.7% of numbers are just made up?

I've said my piece - I'll respect your request and wait to see how it develops.  Smiley

Just please don't ask for any bitcoin until you have an actual product.

1549  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Purchase a vehicle with crypto on: December 04, 2020, 12:15:17 AM
Hello I would like to announce our company, Cryptocarsonline.com

Are you an actual registered company, or just some kids with an idea?

Also, which major dealerships are you partnered with in the Dallas area?
1550  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: If you are a gamer, come here! on: December 04, 2020, 12:07:15 AM
Btw I would say that adults like you (Let's imagine 30+) play games very often but most likely they visit gaming lounges with their friends.

I would say you are wrong.   I have always been in IT so I've always had a faster computer than the lounges.   I don't know a single friend who has ever visited a lounge either.   But, just having turned 50, I can't speak for the next couple generations. (I do like your imaginary 30 though!)

Gaming Lounges are dying.  They were useful at a time when bandwidth did not allow high quality multiplayer games.   But now a garage LAN party can be set up in minutes rather than hours, and streaming services such as Steam allow anyway to play/watch anything else without being there.

You are also a lot less likely to get financing if you split your business model like that.   Forget lounges, with the high rent, the viruses, the crime, etc and concentrate on an online system.   If you are locked on the lounge industry, teach rather than do.   Your website can focus on resources for planning and executing events and eventually you'll receive advertising from the industry!

Love to chat more on this.

1551  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 🔥Bitcoin Wars | BitcoinWars.io | A 3D Modular Multiplayer Bitcoin Game 🔥 on: December 03, 2020, 11:51:53 PM
That looks like a very impressive game with the 3d graphics and all!

Actually Joel, it's just a basic 3D environment using a commercial engine.   The video does not show any type of customization.   :/
1552  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abusing The Bitcointalk Trust System For Personal And Selfish Interests on: December 03, 2020, 07:31:55 PM
^ hex.com

That domain could have sold for six figures, but associating it with a ponzi destroyed that.  :/
1553  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT1 and DT2 members who have negative feedback (or are banned) on: December 03, 2020, 07:23:05 PM
Theymos should make reference links mandatory for negative trust.
As long as Trust isn't moderated, that will only lead to fake reference links.

I believe Theymos should moderate obvious bullshit trust on the key DT members.  Looking at my list, you would think I am a scammer.   How many people will take the time to investigate that it's all revenge for exposing scams?
1554  Economy / Services / Re: Web development,Web Design & Graphic Design services | Since 2008 on: December 03, 2020, 06:06:31 PM
When you check out the trust of this user, you'll understand he probably didn't do any of these designs.
1555  Other / Meta / Re: Forum advertising DeFi totally-not-scams on: December 03, 2020, 05:16:19 PM
To this community, DeFi may mean just another series of scams; use of legit bitcoin for illegit means.

But I believe the world at large views Defi as Decentralized Finance - of which bitcoin is a part of.  WE made the association between a very generic term and a specific type of transferable asset.

So I'm saying we should be careful badmouthing DeFi outside of established community, because it may inhibit crypto growth.

1556  Other / Off-topic / Re: We rise by lifting others on: December 03, 2020, 04:15:58 AM
It is dooable with or without technology.. People need so little motivation for a sustainable life, to not destroy and to create/fix Instead. We should do it while we still have the chance  Undecided it is our obligation now in which the previous generations failed....

If you know a way millions of people can get water besides walking for hours on end, quit bitcointalk and become rich in politics.

The people may want to live sustainably, but I think we are way past the point of no return.

I bet you a dollar that the middle class will vanish before 2030.   There will be the ultra rich defending their property against the  hordes of starving people.

Wish i had some Bitcoins to buy Food, i can not get over the fact that people stole mine and are using them for absolutley nothing but their own benefit.

Sorry to hear about your loss.   Most bitcoin thieves probably have long criminal records - that's been my experience investigating scammers.  I know that gives you little comfort.  Sad
1557  Other / Off-topic / Re: We rise by lifting others on: December 03, 2020, 03:00:09 AM
Ignorance.....

I'd be very interested as to how this planet can support billions wanting more land while most major centers are running out of fresh water.

A population adjustment is something I've been expecting for over a decade.   Technology has helped but it can only go so far.

If you have a place to go, follow the masses and leave the cities.

P.S.   Bitcoin cannot buy food if there is no food to buy.
1558  Other / Off-topic / Settlers of Catan Geolocation game - bitcointalk team? on: December 03, 2020, 02:38:08 AM
https://catanworldexplorers.com/

Settlers of Catan is one of the best selling games of all time.

Much like Harry Potter and Pokemon, Niantic is turning Catan into a geolocation game!

Post here if you are interested in playing when it comes out.  Not sure how the teams will work.
1559  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Crypto goes to Geocaching on: December 03, 2020, 02:30:22 AM
very interesting
have you tried all this yourself?
would be a nice opportunity to collect some XYO coins while geocaching

I don't think this would ever go mainstream.

I played Ingress for a few years.   There were location spoofers everywhere.  Niantic could catch them by movement anomalies (move >10m in a second in a wooded area) but if you don't need to keep your game open all the time and just start it after you spoof your location they can't detect that.   Crypto investors would not stick around long.

I've spent my life in service to others.  Even after I could not work due to medical reasons, I still volunteered at the hospitals directing traffic from a chair during the start of the pandemic.

I've had some odd reactions from people who are shocked by random acts of kindness.  Society has changed so much in just thirty years.  I hope a massive population readjustment doe to hunger will "reset" people's attitude's that their family is the ONLY thing that matters.
