And run your farms off your cell-phone battery while you are at it! Tongue
lmfao!!!!

ahhhh it must have been the 42C / 107F (with humidex) weather (outside, before adding another deathwall of heat from mining rigs) that got to my brain to confuse lack of power with lack of internet.

Advertise on http://dailybitcoins.org with Operation Fabulous!
So glad to see you jump on the OF bandwagon.  I see your site jumped to the top spot on there as well!  OF is a money making monster!  Smiley

I think buying a used facility will be much cheaper than building one.

When it comes to fiat banking, I love my President's Choice bank account.

http://www.pcfinancial.ca/

President's Choice banking has "no fees".  If you live in Canada, you'd be fooling yourself to use any other bank.  There is no actual "banks" as in "brick-and-mortar" physical locations, but just a kiosk in Superstore, the biggest Canadian chain market.  They do not need to have a staff of tons of people or the overhead of a whole bank so they pass on the savings.

Plus they use CIBC as their banking system so you can withdrawal for free at any CIBC.

It's great!
1547  Economy / Goods / Re: [newegg] Kill-A-Watt $17.99 free shipping on: July 02, 2012, 08:04:51 PM
I don't think this code works in Canada.

Would someone be willing to ship me one?

Lol this would be my 3rd Kill-A-Watt, too.  My 1st one I bought on eBay and it was shipped to me but mysteriously lost in Hawaii.  The tracking just stopped as soon as it made it there, I have no idea why my package would be going TO Hawaii because it was from the mainland..  and then the eBay seller became "no longer a registered member" and then Paypal wouldn't refund me.  I then bought a 2nd one, absolutely loved it so very, very much and I went to see how much energy it would take to run a space heater all night.  Well a space heater in a huge basement will essentially run all night, it was probably sucking a lot of hydro, because it melted my poor Kill-A-Watt!  Kill-A-Kill-A-Watt if you run 1500w for a long period of time through it.

Now I want another one.. 3rd time's the charm and these prices are awesome, but it's like 2x the price if you go through newegg.ca.

1549  Other / Off-topic / Re: "We do not accept "artificial" currencies" on: July 02, 2012, 07:42:10 PM
Isn't the USD more artificial than bitcoin?  Is bitcoin the ONLY non-artificial currency out there?
1550  Other / Off-topic / Re: No Power! on: July 02, 2012, 07:39:14 PM
You should tether your smartphone to your network so you can use your mobile data for the mining!  You will use such a small amount of data for the amount of hashing you will do.

So I'm looking to buy the 5830 for just Bitcoin mining and I'm just wondering who's the best manufacturer?
I see a lot of the 5830's in the marketplace are by Sapphire.
This is for single GPU mining by the way, I don't plan on running crossfire.

I liked the sapphire xtreme 5830 as it had over voltage control but with only a certain warranty not sure wha it was.
Sapphire's RMA process is a total joke.  It's awful.

1555  Other / Meta / Re: Lock old user accounts on: July 02, 2012, 05:02:50 AM
I would say at the very worst, after an account hasn't been logged into in 3 months, reset it so that they need to do email activation to use the account again...  But even that would be tricky to set up, and I think it should be an opt-in feature instead of default.

In this game each poster must make a caption for the above poster's image & provide an image for the next poster so they might write an amusing caption for it!

I'll start.

Post a lie about the person above you!

Anything goes, as long as it's not the truth!

Since I'm the first one here I'll just have to lie about myself.

I am Satoshi Nakamoto.
