1541  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 23, 2023, 11:02:55 AM
Right, also it's important to understand that the casino itself can't affect KYC results and their acceptance. They are just following the rules in their jurisdiction. If they must, by the rules, make a customer to go through the KYC process if he/she wants to withdraw over $5,000, they do it then. There's nothing they can do about it without risking to lose their license.

Should they warn about it in their ToS? Absolutely. It's their fault they didn't. But they are not that evil as one might think. They are not declining KYC verification on purpose.
You saying, they can't affect kyc results and acceptance, is that supposed to mean the authorisation/clarification of a kyc document isn't done by the casino or sportsbook? Because, that would mean a lot for customers as, any means to some bias would be cut off and ensure more trust in the system.
Still, users needs to be familiar with critical parts of T&C of there gambling site and adhere to them as well.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. The KYC process is performed by a third party entity, which has no relation to the casino whatsoever. There are hundreds of KYC companies, or, in other words, identity verification providers, and online casinos, like many other institutions, are using their services, that's all.
1542  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 23, 2023, 10:21:07 AM
Glad to see there's a new slot game on Stake. And this adds to the excitement of playing the slots. But be careful when playing slots because we have to avoid big losses.

Here is a list of new slot games in Stake:

From the lists above, it seems that no slot games from Pragmatic Play providers were added, but there are slot games from Play'N GO, Red Tiger, and Spinomenal. Besides that, I've never played on other providers, making me want to try it later. What do you want to play from the latest list in the Stake?

I just played Jewel Rush by Pragmatic Play for 15 minutes, and although I had this nice win once,

my overall profit was couple of bucks negative in the end. Do I regret playing it? No. The background music was nice and the animation, as in all slots by Pragmatic Play, was perfect. The relaxation I got from playing Jewel Rush  was definitely worth the money.

I think gambling owners don't need to bother finding and catching the perpetrators of making these poker bots and I'm sure gambling owners are smarter and the development team if they know about this they will definitely immediately create anti-bots at gambling which always frustrates gamblers who want to use poker bots .
Don't take this problem too seriously because gambling will always win in everything and it will only be in vain to bankrupt gambling.

I agree, gambling will always be here, whatever happens with the environment. Various AIs will not disrupt it, rather, they will be used to improve the experience. I think soon enough any online casino will be utilizing an AI of sorts, and those who won't, will be left behind. But I don't think that with the help of the new technologies gambling platforms will be winning more and gamblers will be losing more then previously. I think in the future the house edge will be dropping, and it will be for the benefit of both, casinos and regular gamblers alike.
1544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 22, 2023, 12:53:07 PM
~

      -  But there are movies I've seen where when a gambler bet in a casino and when he still loses, what they pay is a car or expensive jewelry in exchange for their loss and the casino also agrees, even if it's just a movie is possibly also true in reality.

That means, even if money is not used for gambling, as long as you have something that you have done in a casino, it can still be considered gambling.

Well, movies is another story, mate. I've never seen a single one where gambling was depicted truthfully.

But back to the topic. In this thread by "money" we mean anything that has some value, so, you are right, if we put something valuable at stake, not necessarily money, that's gambling, of course.

The thing is that whether the coins from the faucet are valuable is a big question, because the amount is so small that you can't withdraw it.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: May 22, 2023, 12:10:32 PM
I think the level of medical care, I mean, for someone like the POTUS, is of such a high level that a candidate being in his 80s shouldn't be a concern at all. Also, we were talking about it earlier, the team is what really matters, not the president, if he's not a dictator. And Biden is not going to be a dictator, evryone knows that.

I don't agree with you. Medical care may keep Trump in good spirits till 2028 if he wins in 2024. But I don't have the same opinion about Biden. Already he is suffering from medical issues such as dementia (despite the best medical care being made available for him). Things are going to be much worse by 2028. But for the Democrats it should not matter much. It looks as if Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris are the decision makers in this administration and Biden is just a mask. If the American public want this to continue, then they can go for Biden during the 2024 POTUS elections.

That is what matters because we are discussing betting here. The things that you said above, like Biden suffering from dementia and "Biden is just a mask", things taken from some tabloids or Russian propaganda, those things don't matter much here, do they?

I mean, if you can provide a reliable source on dementia, please do, it would be kinda relevant. But please do not quote imbeciles like Joe Rogan here. Those aren't reliable sources, okay? Smiley
1546  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: May 22, 2023, 11:01:54 AM
Let us be realistic to ourselves, is good to extreme to wait for government to make provision of every in a country, sometimes when we graduate from higher colleges we expected government to create employment opportunities but in some points government keep adamant of making employment be visible and available to the mass,  on my instinct I said without government employment man can survive, I started a popcorn 🍿 business which I managed alone but right now have workers under me which I'm paying and now planning to establish another business.

Modern capitalist education system is based on creating specialists with economy degrees, which are not really needed anywhere. But people send their children to study economy since they think that economy degree is the only way to become a millionaire. This is not true statement, but most people still believe in it Sad

I don't understand why are you saying this? Do you imply that some "communist" education system is better, or you just want to say that the Western system is bad overall?

You know it's not all true what you see on the telly in your country. Wink

Yes, without government job we can survive, but it doesn't mean that that Government jobs are bad, or that people are getting the wrong education in the West. Dictatorships brainwash their people into thinking that the whole world is wrong and you can only survive by blindly following the "Great Leader". But it doesn't work actually, does it? Smiley
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 22, 2023, 10:09:20 AM

Man Utd are currently are ahead with less than 30 minutes to go, while Liverpool have just had a goal ruled out, I guess it's high time to call it a day with this position and CL qualification race.
Liverpool's hope are gone now. We have nothing left in this season. Newcastle and Utd don't need to worry anymore. Villa was too good at defense? Or were not up to the mark to defeat their defense.

My bet to win Liverpool lost too. A day I fucked up totally and Liverpool did too.

I'm sorry you lost your bet, @BitcoinGirl.Club. I  can imagine that losing a bet of 1.7 mBTC can be tough. Recently, I didn't win 1.55 mBTC because of only one wrong prediction:

and although I didn't lose anything to worry about, just 0.01 mBTC, I still was thinking, "WTF, Tottenham! Couldn't you win in your home match, with all the rooting and cheering from your fans!"

And so many of us in the Sportsbet's BitcoinTalk Pool on Superbru could be saying the same about Liverpool. Liverpool beat Aston Villa 3-1 at the away match 5 months ago, but fell for a draw at Anfield. WTF!

But not all of us were so totally incorrect.

Congrats, @KTChampions, @jayce and @arallmuus! You can predict unexpected things, you guys. Smiley
1548  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed to a nowhere economic direction ? on: May 22, 2023, 08:37:00 AM
Nothing different here mate. My country is struggling as well. But what turns matters worst is the high level of corruption in my country. The pandemic permanently closed a lot of our businesses here and I also lost all my source of income. I have investments in our local stock market but it turned into a nightmare with some stocks performing worse than crypto's altcoin market in a bear season.

Despite all of these trials, we need to strive harder than ever. I am actually looking forward to crypto's bull run next year and 2025 as my biggest hope of recovery.

All of us here hope for that, and some us(like myself for instance), hope that bull run will start earlier, maybe in August this year. But in the meantime we shouldn't just sit and wait for that. We must adapt to new realities. Many things have changed over the recent years, and those changes can't be ignored if we want to stay afloat. Luckily, we have the internet to find out about what are the optimal things to do in the current economic situation.

Yes, you're right, it's not just talking about prizes, the most important thing is the courage to show the ability to make roobet art. I also love works of art, but I can't make art, and people who really love art can almost make art on average. themselves, as an example of all the participants in the roobet art contest, they dare to show their skills in making roobet art.

I'm sure the people who participate in this contest are great people and have the ability to make good and cool art, I usually see artwork from this contest a lot and Roobet always has ideas for holding art contests in this forum.  Wink

Yes, and I think other platforms should follow them in this regard. Imagine, several art contests each moth on the forum. It would be amazing. Different categories, different tasks to the artists, different prizes and stuff. It would make gambling section of this site more attractive, more alive, I would say.

~
I feel like that's mainly because most artists feel shame if they ever do something that is not beautiful, and they fear a lot what would other people say about it. So, let's say you are a designer who will design something for roobet, what if you aren't picked? How could you say that it would be a good thing or a bad thing? I feel like that's not going to happen that easily.

This is why I keep saying that the best thing to do in this case is to figure out a way to get out of this pit they put themselves into and just do it. Why do you think nike has the slogan "just do it"? It's not about being first, it's about being in the race, because then you already passed so many people and that's why it matters so much. I personally hope people can see that.

I totally agree with you on that. When you participate again and again and winning any prizes(like it happens with me, for example), you are trying to come up with something better next, you try to improve your level, and it's always a good thing. When you are trying to evolve, you are doing the right thing, right?
1552  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: May 21, 2023, 12:22:51 PM
~

Indeed. Your point is an excellent example of life-work balance. Saving is a beneficial habit for anyone, especially for those with a long term goal. We work to live and work for life, not vice versa. Sometimes we need to make choices over making less money/working less hours for spending more time with family or simply for yourself. Nowadays not many people can calm down and rethink about life and our most valuable time. I have always been a hard worker but known this clearly that life is larger than work.

You'll missed your child getting bigger which is true because of we keep chasing the money we forgot to have time in our family but again we do the hardwork for our family we work hard just to make their life comfortable even we keep sacrificing our time for them. Even my self if i do have a high salary right now i prefer to be with my family but the opportunity is not possible because i need to do a side hustle just to give them what they want but even i work hard it is still not enough. We really need to sacrifice things even we dont want to as we prefer struggling than they are struggling

I think it's not that simple as that. Being occupied by work all the time, making money so that your kid "won't be struggling", while he/she is growing up without you around, it's not good. You have to find a "life-work balance", as @FireDAOJackie_Z says. It's not easy to do, but it's very important to not ignore lest you end up with spoiled rich kid in the end.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 21, 2023, 11:49:19 AM
~ The presidentiables I think will change somehow there are new candidates that might come out to take it away from Trump and Biden though.
RFK Jr seems to be showing more interest.

Idk, does he have a chance? He has pretty good outcome odds currently, around 17.00, but I can't imagine he gets elected unless Biden and Trump disappear somehow. I'm not living in the US myself, so I have no idea how popular is Kennedy there for real, but from Youtube videos and some movies I have an impression that people don't the whole family much, and him in particular. Am I wrong?
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 21, 2023, 11:01:47 AM
ChatGPT, as an AI language model, can perform a wide range of tasks, including generating text, answering questions, and providing information, it's important to note that its abilities are based on patterns and does not possess a "human" intelligence as we would understand it on this forum. However, a system that can be trained in patterns may be good enough for poker.

Let's imagine ChatGPT can help you to play poker better than on your own. Then it can help others too, right? If it becomes obvious that it's better to use the AI when you play poker, everyone will be using it. ... I think, in the end online poker won't be destroyed because, as it is always happens, some people will come up with a strategy that takes advantage of the current "winning strategy" and allows them to win more often than not.
1555  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: May 21, 2023, 09:51:54 AM
~
I think that freedom is not related to income (at least if there are no loans): with the introduction of digital banking projects, money become the way to control people (depriving people of freedom, instead of granting freedom). Crypto can't be considered an uncontrolled money system yet: not because of the fact that all the cryptocurrencies have teams of devs, which act as centralisers, but mostly due to the fact that most transactions can't be performed without BTC to fiat transfer. So nowadays freedom is more about the state of mind, financial potential can't bring freedom...

But we are talking about financial freedom here. You can have a lot of money and still be dependent, that's, of course, true, but regardless of your state of mind you can't be financially independent if you have very low income or no no money at all. People who discuss obstacles to achieving financial freedom, they already have the right state of mind, and yet it's hard sometimes for them to find ways of being independent financially.

Slots? Damn. Very Nice Cheesy !
As usual, unexpected luck I got x100 on the Olympus (grandpa zeus), but unfortunately it can't be maxwin. Why only x100? wasn't x500.
This is my winning result guys : https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/EAFf9DJN7u
If it's x500 caught, maybe I can get Maxwin in one round, I got it while playing Normal Spin, I didn't expect got win.

A very nice win 500x it is! Congrats, mate! That feels good, right. Wink

Actually, I'd like to ask you guys in this thread, what multiplier makes you feel happy? In sports betting you can be happy when you win with 1.9x, right, but this is definitely not the case with slots. From my experience, it must be something over 10x for me to feel something. What about you, guys?

1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ridiculous Bets that disappointed you on: May 20, 2023, 09:48:40 AM
Snip

Limbo didn't "figure out" your plan, mate, it's just so happened. And I congratulate you on such a big multiplier, it's amazing! You won $2.57 with betting something really close to zero. I like making such bets myself. My biggest multipliers were 9,900 several times on dice, but moneywise it was never above $10. Again, congrats, and don't feel bad about not staking much more, like one or two dollars. Responsible gambling above all. Smiley

What’s surprised me is how he take profit at that range since that multiplier is almost impossible to get especially on limbo which user always choose a lower multiplier to cash out instead of that 23Kx. It’s already once in a life time opportunity to ride on that kind of multiplier because I definitely take 10x all day long as my cash out threshold before the multiplier can go that long.

You never know actually. One day you hit 23Kx, and the next day you hit 24Kx. It can be like that, we all know it, it's unpredictable and totally random.

My biggest multipliers were 9,900 several times on dice, but moneywise it was never above $10. Again, congrats, and don't feel bad about not staking much more, like one or two dollars. Responsible gambling above all. Smiley

How much do you spend when you hit x9900 multiplier if you can still remember that day. I have some huge multiplier too but it just make me recover some of my previous loss when I’m hunting that wild multiplier.

My personal record is just 24 rolls before hitting 9,900x. But normally I do 200-300 rolls, and either I hit or I don't. Making thousands of rolls on auto mode is not my thing. I prefer betting manually, and you are kinda tired after 300 rolls, aren't you? And gambling is supposed to be fun, it's not some kind of work, so, I stop.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 20, 2023, 09:24:01 AM

Of course, winning $6 from betting $10 doesn't make you happy. But in a case like this

it surely does. Smiley

Oh wow, gambling is just so uncertain. Imagine if you had staked that game with 1 litecoin and won; your cash out would have been really massive. I know you never felt so happy about that one. You probably asked yourself why you never increased the stake, but that's just how gambling can be. I believe you already know since you have a lot of experience, just as you have said.

I have also staked a game with $0.005 and won $50. I know I felt like, "Oh, why did I not just stake that game with $5?" But it was risky because the probability of even winning that game was only 0.1%, and it shocked the hell out of me. For me, who often prefers sports, there are usually some games you are so confident that you will enter, but those kinds of games are likely to get busted, while the ones you never expected to win will be where your luck lies. Winning gives joy, but especially when you win big,

Of course, everyone has thoughts like that when hitting a high multiplier, and I have them too, almost every time I hit something like this

or higher, I think "Why didn't I bet with $5?" I could do that because I had $50 on my balance, and I would win almost $1k with that roll. But betting $5 at once with 0.5% win chance is not a responsible gambling. That's what I think. And that's why I don't do that.
