If you take 10 bounty campaigns at once, how many of them will pay you and how much will you earn from that? The chance of getting a fair amount is very low. I haven't visited the altcoin bounty section for a long time now and didn't participate as well. But I have idea on them since back in the day, I had tried to participate but got nothing. It's as always, "Waste of your valuable time."
1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: P2P online games with BTC on: April 14, 2020, 01:49:48 PM
I don't think any of such games are available in crypto gambling platforms. I would also love to add Clash Royal type of games for gambling but couldn't find any such platform yet. It is probably due to higher chance of cheating that is possible in such games and also high expense in maintaining such gaming servers.
I see, no one is trying to bring such games into the board for what? Only because of the chance of cheating? There must have been way to prevent the cheating. However, casino can arrange tournament for bitcointalk for these kinda games. I would gladly be in; at least in this lockdown.

Btw, try to learn wordpress in your free time. A new world of possibilities will open up in front of you!
Thank you but not motivated as long as it is directly forcing me.

But, I am sure about coding a versatile system where no one is able to cheat/hack is possible regardless of what type of games we are going to implement.
I'm not a great coder, just have learned little for my needs. However, I guess this kinda games will have a significant responses if anyone comes with; I have checked some other threads as well on this topic within last couple of days and I was surprised with the responses. Then, why not someone bringing this into reality?
I don't have enough time to maintain such things long time, nor am I motivated to run a casino; otherwise, I would be giving it a try to bring something for this community.
1563  Other / Meta / Re: why hoarding Smerits? on: April 13, 2020, 04:41:04 PM
Look at Ddmrddmr, iasenko, nullious, RapTarX  Cheesy and a lot of other members who have been ranked up so far after the merit system is introduced. They have received 1 merit most of the times and that's how they have reached their current amount of merits.
LoyceV has stated already, think from the anti point. I have received 522 merits which mean a total of 261 smerirs from which I have around 16 smerits now. I, and other members (not everyone), have been meriting posts which seems deserving, all the times. So, I guess the system is not a resistant towards rank up, the resistant is our goal; we want things to achieve with less effort.

If newbies are frustrated that they can't rank up on a discussion forum, that's 99.9% likely because they're here to use the forum as a place of employment
This, you have mentioned already.
various new members are migrating to other forums where it is much more easier to rank up.

I'm aware of the bot you are talking about, hence, I talked about challenging someone. It seems we still don't have such option. Thank you guys a lot for the help. I'll try to check the recommendations.

What about playing poker? SWC offers a really good opportunity in my opinion. They are also represented in this forum. Smiley
Have been playing it for a while but I'm not more interested into poker. It's kinda bore when you don't get the cards you are looking for. While chess or 8 ball pool totally depends on your skill. In addition, I don't want to lose money faster too  Cheesy
1565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we need Bitcoin if we have Litecoin? on: April 13, 2020, 04:07:19 PM
Total nodes for bitcoin- 10086
Total nodes for litecoin- 1554

Which one do you think more decentralized? If you are counting the features only, why not XMR is the best? It has "privacy by default.". There are a lot of coins which can be considered as improved version. Do a little more background research. You'll get the difference.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / P2P online games with BTC on: April 12, 2020, 05:01:23 PM
What are the some of online games where we can challenge others, play online for BTC. I'm specifically looking for games like Chess, 8 Ball Pool, Carrom or some other games. Would be happy to see 8 Ball Pool or Chess game. I can't take the lockdown anymore. I need something to spend my times.
1567  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for Bitcoin / ETH wallet that shows USD value on sent/received on: April 12, 2020, 04:35:28 PM
As the BTC and ETH prices fluctuate a lot it doesn't help for later accounting having to go back and see what the price was then to determine how much we sent and received then.
If you are looking for the accounting only, I guess there are explorer through which you can get the total sent/received value at the time of transacted, I can't remember any of the explorer which have the option to check value at the time of transacted (Will add one if I get). But if you have different invoices, in that case, I recommend Electrum as the best option for BTC. I have no idea on ETH though since I wouldn't recommend Exodus at all because of its close source code.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fastest Dice site? on: April 12, 2020, 04:26:48 PM
I recommend you to give Roobet a try,jot because I'm promoting this. I had good experience with Roobet. But I ddon't know if it will be flexible with the bot you are yalking about. I don't have that experience. I have played on Roobet for a while and so far I'm way more satisfied with them.
1569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining difficulty vs Price Comparison on: April 11, 2020, 03:16:18 PM
While I am not sure if it is exactly what are you asking for, but I haven't found the solution any better.
Thank you man. I'm looking for exactly this information for some of my works aalthough that's nothing much of important other than my personal interest.
bitinfocharts seems to be one of the great resources which I was not aware of at all. Much appreciated the help.
1570  Other / Off-topic / Re: Extra carefull using remote application , meeting apps on: April 10, 2020, 03:52:15 PM
Hell, I have been using this for a while to communicate with my team mates. Zoom is supposed to be the great tool to have video conference. Although I have no much sensitive data on my phone other than a temporary bitcoin wallet which I don't use most often. Thank you for the heads up.
1571  Other / Beginners & Help / Mining difficulty vs Price Comparison on: April 10, 2020, 03:37:32 PM
I'm trying to get a combined graph of bitcoin's mining difficulty and price so far. Have been looking on couple of sites but I can't get what I exactly looking for. It's very much time consuming for me to draw that graph manually. If you know any, please, share with me.
1572  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's longest time have you been without 'deleted post' message? on: April 10, 2020, 03:33:37 PM
It's a little  more than 3 months. On January 04, 2020, I got one of my post deleted. It was a response with emoji only to Hhampuz which I knew that will be deleted.
If I check my deleted post history, it won't be quite big if I don't count deleted post like "bump". None of my actual post have been deleted within last 7/8 months I guess.
1573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 10, 2020, 03:19:23 PM
In case if you guys missed this news. BCCI is planning to conduct this season IPL in the month of July without any spectators.
That's a stupid decision from BCCI. Within July, the pandemic will barely overcome. Players will be at risk of course as well as the associated people. That's not quite a few people only. BCCI must not have that rights to do so.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 09, 2020, 03:03:09 PM
But if i have to bet on any opener then will go with Rohit sharma.
There's only one player comes to my mind when we talk about a tripple; it's Rohit of course. Anyone here wants a bet on that? Well, forget about tripple century. Who will be the next player to hit the double? What do you think guys? Do you want to have bet on this?
1575  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: What Happens When You Write to a Crypto Scammer's Email? on: April 09, 2020, 02:46:23 PM
When I saw he was talking about mining subscription, I can't but laugh. He has no idea what mining is, no idea how sign message works but still he is attempting to cheat the people.
You really played a nice game, it has to be. There's nothing much you can do other than having some fun games. I have never being targeted though email but was PMed in my telegram from couple of fake telegram admin. Lucky that I was clever enough to detect the scam attempt.
1576  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Electrum, MEW and Meta Mask on: April 09, 2020, 02:31:40 PM
Legit MEW

Code:
nlbmnnijcnlegkjjpcfjclmcfggfefdm
What does that mean? I guess you have pasted some wrong contents. MEW= myetherwallet.com and that's the only site I know for MEW. What's your code referring to? Pardon me if I did miss something; I'm not much familiar with any other coins than BTC.
1577  Economy / Economics / Re: History Reveals There Is No Going Back for the Economy on: April 09, 2020, 02:14:20 PM
Yes, we are "in the middle of a major transition." The world after this will never be the same. Well, we are constantly evolving, anyway. I guess the new paradigm that will arise after this will be more nationalistic, more focused inward, on building a more independent country, rather than eyeing a more globalized position.
I wouldn't say country won't have eye in globalization: without globalization, all the countries will have hard times to maintain the economic balance. You can't produce an 'X' in US what can be produced in India & vice versa. If anyone wants not to following the comparative advantage method and want to focus on increasing internal production, they will have to spend a few times more cost than the country with comparative advantage. It's true that the pandemic may force country to think more and more self dependency but at the end of the day, they can't. It's all about atmosphere, lifestyle, cost etc.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL Mutual Pool Discussion. on: April 07, 2020, 02:02:04 PM
The virtual IPL has started. Can we have a Pool for that ?
I guess it will keep the things interesting and we can enjoy despite being in lock down.

I got an email from sportsbet has launched a simulated version of IPL to bet on the matches. The results of these matches will be based upon AI.
So, we can also watch these simulated matches too or you will only show the result ?
Interesting. I haven't checked sportsbet for a while. Will do later tonight. But how AI will detect the result is a big question. Will it be based previous records of players? If available, can you please share some blog from sportsbet on this?
Regarding pool, I don't think it's possible because superbru won't have that option as the actual tournament is yet to be started.

Here you go.

Doesn't sound too cool TBH. Who will verify that Sportsbet isn't cheating? I know they are such a reputed site that they won't go cheating but still as long as you don't have any clue whether they are cheating or not, I wouldn't recommend to bet.
On the other hand, if AI get the results from historical matches, it's pretty easy to build an AI for yourself with all the available data from IPL and bet as per your result, in that way, you can beat their AI, however, if the result doesn't be the same as sportsbet, they will definitely be cheating but there will be no way to claim that.
1579  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: April 07, 2020, 01:43:33 PM
To all those who have been in the campaign since the beginning, congratulations on 150 weeks who are behind them - and I wish everyone at least that many successful weeks Wink
Are TryNinja and BitMaxz the only participants who are here from the very beginning of the campaign? I can't see anymore accepted application from the first week. Congrats guys. I believe it's an honor to work with such a campaign & ChipMixer is happy too to have you on the board.
I had the opportunity to apply here although I knew that I had no chance. Nevertheless, I really liked how Darkstar_ is running the campaign. No one is forced to make X amount of posts nor to have X amount of characters on each post. That's how all the other campaigns must be run; like how a forum participants take participate in the discussion. Forcing X amount of posts would never bring good quality regardless of how low amount of posts are required.
Congrats every participants of Chipmixer and thanks to Darkstar_ for managing the campaign promptly.

Edit- Whoop!! It's my 1000th post here!
1580  Local / Marketplace (India) / Recharge for BTC on: April 06, 2020, 03:20:43 PM
I'm looking for recharging my phone number for BTC. I have found a few sites but have no knowledge on any of them. Have you ever used any service for recharging by BTC? I would appreciate if you share your experience and how long does the service take to recharge.
