1561  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise described as false bull on: February 03, 2023, 11:40:48 PM
I think we need to forget about the fake Bullrun as we are about to recover now. Let us say that we are not really in a bullish market but this is not the thing we consider that the current pump is a trap. It can be fake anyway to other coins but as we talk about Bitcoin, a decentralized project can't be manipulated. Why not let the price of Bitcoin pump when in fact, people were also happy about the situation?

The market will not be forever in a deep situation which is why we expect a pump any time, and it comes.
We cant really say that we are really that in a bull run but rather i do believe that it is really just some small percentage recovery.People do really love to rush up things on which they do love to see new all time
highs on the time that they are seeing the price is starting up to climb which we do know that not how this market works and behaves. It would be not a smooth sail ride but rather it would
be involving lots of waves which goes up and down neither on slow or fast pace or everything we could think off and this is how this market works and lets not rush up but
rather we should be wise on taking up positions.
1562  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 03, 2023, 10:28:56 PM
Op's topic is a good example that even you pick 99% of winning you can still lose your bet and there's nothing you can do to change the outcome once it's already been concluded.

Upset really happened. Actually, it's not about the upset but I just can't believe someone is willing to gamble millions of money when in fact the return is only a few thousand. Even if that's a 99% chance of winning, I can't easily just put my million in a gambling site for betting when the return is just a few amounts.

Not saying that the bettor is dumb but with that amount, he can diversify it thru several bets playing at the odds of around 1.5.

I'd rather bet on odds as high as @2 instead of going all-in at @1.01.
that guy is putting his million dollar bankroll at low odds hoping just a small win is okay. and while he may lose millions of dollars, it doesn't matter to him that it may not be part of his entire fortune.
99% chance of winning there is still 1% chance of losing. sometimes a gambler ignores these things.
if you think about it it's true that the wrong move when betting millions of dollars at odds of 1.01 is just ridiculous. because for the sake of a little profit he dared to take a 1% risk of losing and in the end it happened.
even though there are lots of odds options above 1.5 which might be more profitable. who knows what he thought at that time risking for the sake of a small profit opportunity.
When you do have millions of dollars or simply being rich then its impossible that you cant be able to picture out those risk and it is really just that there are people who do really be able to burn up their money on just
simply trying out to earn peanuts which it isnt even worth or just simply they are really that too much confident on such bet.Its true that even its 99% winning rate but still that 1% could possibly hit.
This is always the case that would happen if you are really putting all in on a certain bet and lose up big time and just trying to snip up some small wins.Yes, we dont know if this is his overall
riches considering that he had millions and able to make bets out of that then assume that he had lots.
1563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your successes over the past 5 years on: February 03, 2023, 09:27:45 PM
I think in my portfolio I have saved the same amount that used to do last year and repeated the same every year for the last five. However, I did crash a lot during the pandemic because had to cash out multiple times to provide the emergency care when we had nothing in our hands in the form of salaries. That one was little set Back for me and my family. However, it made me realised that savings play a huge role in our lives and that’s why we should increase the share of savings a lot as compared to what we throw in expenses. Similar to other fellow members here I wouldn’t measure my success in terms of five years, but what I have today and how I have managed my money over the time.
I remember those covid years or pandemic ones which it did really result for us to cash out specially that we do need to buy more in speaking of goods and necessities plus other medical related things.
We did survive but it really much more costly or having more expenses which would result to get more into our investment or holdings.

Im not regretting since this is bound or serve its purpose.Whom you are saving into? Its for emergency and other things you do have in mind.It is really putting you into a situation
where you are really that confident since you do know that you have funds that something you could able to make use of.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Charitable Casinos on: February 03, 2023, 08:42:28 PM
I dont know if this one is something that could be trust up but this is a recent casino that do charity works.
Im aint sure if they are the first.

Bitcoza offering "world’s first charity Bitcoin Casino"
https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/15345/bitcoza-offering-worlds-first-charity-bitcoin-casino
This is the first time I've heard of a charity casino. If you think about it, any casino can do charity work. All you have to do is donate part of your profits to a good cause. I think it's a good initiative. A gambler losing money in a casino helps people. Sounds great!
Charitable works is always been good to look at which it is really only a few of these business platforms or companies whom would be considering out such act.
We do know that they would always come for the profits which is understandable but having considerations on making donations in part of their revenue
is something that commendable.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 02, 2023, 11:22:06 PM
i hope the government of the world starts seeing the value and force that bitcoin is coming with in the world today and start legalizing it in their own country.
We do have seen different approach when it comes for government to take stance on whatever they are currently seeing specially on decentralized things like crypto. We do know that there are places who
had already accepted Bitcoin and there are ones who are still neutral and there are ones who had prohibited or totally ban it out. This is why each government would really be having different
stance when it comes to Bitcoin adoption. Its good if on the place you were living it does have  that positive stance on which as a citizen and at the same time a crypto enthusiast
would really be able to benefit out from that which is always an advantace. If not, then we could always have the viable option for us to make out transactions.
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: February 02, 2023, 11:15:04 PM
Regarding this competition, I have only seen some videos, it is not a reliable source, therefore I do not bring it with the source as I like to make my publications regarding everything that has to do with Gambling, games, bets, but I have given that in this Miss Universe there are many complaints, firstly because the owner is the brother of Miss USA, apart from that it is said that in the Final the decision of the judges was all for Venezuela and according to the fact that the next Miss Universe It won't matter if the woman is married, with children, and I don't know if they will include any other gender, because I think that because of this, interest in this competition is dropping.

This competition is going to be obsolete and become outdated I guess. The beauty pageant has now lost its true essence on part of being a woman, knowing even a transgender will now be accepted in the next year’s Miss Universe probably knowing the new owner is a transgender itself. And yes, considering married women are already welcome to join, I guess that is way more absurd knowing this game is hopefully for single women out there only.
Its not really that Miss Universe that we do know on which pure women and single(not married) would be able to join.So the new owner is the one who messes up this competition which we do know that this is something

that lots of country representatives is trying to compete for and now they are really that allowing on things which arent supposed to be allowed. It is really that removing the over all essence of the competition.

Well, if this one would end up on this new mechanics and rules then im sure that it would really be in resulting on least anticipating and exciting competition not like in the past years.
1567  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: February 02, 2023, 09:22:43 PM
To me one is more valuable than the other, in my local currency it sucks to keep your Fiat in the bank, some may say that Fiat is more safer in the banks but not in my country, unnecessary charges and deduction of your money is very common and also the value of the Fiat decrease in time, holding Bitcoin gives me peace of mind more than holding my Fiat in the bank, 80% of all my money are in crypto and the 20% are in Fiat for survival.
80% of your entire assets on Bitcoin or crypto is a bit risky i should say and leave out 20% on fiat.Im not a fiat defendant but we do know that we could entrust them out.The only thing which is really that we cant

avoid is that inflation rate which is an inevitable and it does really happen along the way.Saving up some fiat in banks for some security isnt really that bad but it wont really be that more bad if you do consider on making out some investment options that we do currently have today and most of us is really that eyeing on crypto or simply with Bitcoin.

Keeping or saving would be similar? Yes, in action but not on the potential profits that it could give.We know the main differences of a volatile and non-volatile thing.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: February 02, 2023, 07:49:35 PM
You're right but i don't know if every newbie gambler could be able to understand the way to do a review check since it is often now believed that review were being hyped as well through manipulations, but if the gambler knows how to conduct a research to a reasonable extent then there's no doubt he may be able to come out with something tangible as well as considering some of the ones on this forum that are trusted while taking his review
Beginners cannot distinguish reviews from real users or manipulated reviews and they do not look for other reviews from different sources, but if beginners are forum users then they will understand that, because forums are a reliable source of discussion about crypto gambling from real gambler reviews , all reviews of top online gambling are available in the forums in their respective ANN threads.
When we do surf on feedbacks and comments on Trustpilot or Askgamblers then it isnt something that you could really rely upon in speaking with real and legitimate feedbacks and this is why learning up something on

this forum is really that relevant on which it is impossible for someone not to be able to distinguish whether posters are telling the truth or not.You could see that the community is really sharing up with their own real experiences on which you could really picture out if they are really that convincing or not.You could really be able to see discussions and recommendations and different advises on different situations or
scenarios. They can give out the best advice and would mold up for yourself on what are the things that you should do further.
1569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: February 02, 2023, 06:45:55 PM
I sit-down to wonder why traders who are consistent in trading and also investing still remain very broke despite the effort they put to erradicating poverty, but it still seems like there is some sort of unforseen and spiritual forces controlling the physical.Or should it be foundational curse from the forefathers affecting the present circumstances?or is it that the poverty is inherited? Or is it a gene or chromosome?.These are questions that that I tend to ask.
Could you believe I couldn't stop laughing reading your post? I guess you are a Nigerian, perhaps some black part of Africa. Frankly, a thing like spiritual could be present, but they target a few sets of people, so it's irrelevant since the majority are losing in retail trading/investments. Professionally, based on my experience, people do not understand what trading and investment are, they are rushing in and out and approaching them wrongly.

This causes their losses, and since you can't make money through them, you will lose, hence the reason for their poverty. This will continue until they get it right.
Who would really be that sad on the time that they are making money or being profitable with trading or something that they are engaging into? When you do know into yourself that you are really that making money
and making yourself get out from poverty and making or having that feeling of being sad just because you arent that contented or looking for something?

This is actually a personal kind of viewpoint since not all would really be that able to feel such condition which it is really impossible for you not to be happy and contented if you do
saw that you are pretty doing well specially on trading and investing. Being not contented is really just a matter of each everyones perspective.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 01, 2023, 11:28:37 PM

Let's not think about that and just hope instead that this fight will push through without using of any influence that will make the fight unfair because of some favors. Inoue already got the homecourt advantage here and his camp, and even the entire nation of Japan is confident and rooting for the boxer to win. Besides, Inoue doesn't need any favor because he will always get the job done as I reckon, he's not planning in staying long in this weight class.

I definitely agree with you about that, while it's undoubtedly given that Naoya Inoue got the homecourt advantage here because the fight will happen at his country. I'm still positive the Inoue doesn't need that advantage or favor from his countrymen as I know that he got this handled and I can't think that Fulton will be able to give him that first defeat. Anyway, if I'm right, this bout will happen in Saitama again where his recent fights happened.

With Inoue's skill and power he doesn't need a homecourt advantage even the added weight is not a disadvantage for Inoue, he just added a few pounds it's still in his range, Inoue's camp has a lot of supporters and their promoters can give what the other camps want for the fight to be held in Japan, they want to satisfy their boxing community, I don't think Fulton can stop Inoue's train he's not the man to stop Inoue's train, he will soon have the super Bantamweight belt on his waist.
For Inoue's fans then this is where they do hope on which he would really be getting all the belts on said upper weight division since he would be still needing to beat up
Stephen Fulton and Murodjon Akhmadaliev to be once again to be undisputed on Junior featherweight (122 lbs.) division on which he's trying to play or fight around.
Or maybe he would be getting those belts and would be moving up on Featherweight that fast or would be still clearing and getting those belts in line.  Cheesy
1571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 12,000 in 2023. on: February 01, 2023, 09:15:57 PM
Bitcoin has almost hit 24,000$ in the end of January, what could have been its best January performance since 2013, at least. Instead, we saw a correction back to 22,000$ price range, although right now bitcoin is already recovering again, back to the 23,500$'s, in this February month which started with an intense positive fluctuation.

Now the expectation is that bitcoin hit 24,000$ sooner or later, consequently maintaining the positive trend which has started in January and continued during the whole month. I don't see signals which could indicate bitcoin is going to drop for now. The market is looking better and better each new day on this new year of 2023.
We are almost on 24k as of this moment and we do have that sudden increase of price on last few hours which does indicate that we might be able to hit up 25k soon if ever this price movement or behavior wont really be changing up.I dont know but why there are lots of people who had been expecting for the price to hit up 12k which i dont see for this possibility but if there are some negative news that would impact out on the market then it would really be that possible but who knows? There's no way that we could really be able to predict on what would happen for this year 2023 whether we would be able to see some recovery or would really
be that able to see these low prices considering that lots of people had been anticipating for this point.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 01, 2023, 08:17:22 PM
AI is still relying on the data that you been feeding on them. so yes, you can't expect precise or exact prediction because there are too many factors involve and AI can only process what they have. so when the sports is actually happening, AI doesn't know what will be the next move of the athlete, thus, won't know the final outcome of the game.

Yeah, totally agree with you there! AI is only as good as the data it's fed. So if there's any bias or inaccuracies in the training data, it's gonna show up in the AI's predictions. And let's not forget that AI can only think about the factors it's been programmed to consider, so there could be other important variables affecting the prediction that the AI doesn't even know about. But despite these limitations, I still think AI and machine learning are super cool for analyzing huge amounts of data and coming up with conclusions. As for using AI to predict sports results, I'm not so sure. We'll just have to wait and see!

Of course there would be always those limitation and one of those is on predicting on future events which is to come and we do know that there are lots of factors and things which we do need to consider about before

taking any step further specially on the betting side of things. Its never been that recommendable or suggestable that you should really relying on what an AI been recommending which is true that it is really been fed
up by information and would be stored into its library which we cant even be sure whether those things been answered would be that accurate or not.

Also, it is always better not to rely on something or anyone when it  comes into your betting selections.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So far so good with Bitcoin adoption on my side but I have question on: February 01, 2023, 07:22:58 PM
I wish there is a way that I can show families on here how successful I have bring numbers of people into Bitcoin between 2021 - 2023, it's been so great and I am very happy about it, I have fresh newbies at hand right now,  two of them are from the same university 🎓, I have spent 6 weeks with them teaching and answering questions about Bitcoin and wallets, now they decide to purchase their first set of Bitcoin.

Here is where I am confused, the present value of Bitcoin is growing, some said it's because of the Chinese New year Holiday aka Year of the Rabbit, since I got mine at 17,000 and 15,000 I feel it's wrong to tell these newbies to buy at 23,000$

Have I done the right thing by telling them to wait for some correction before buying or you famz have a better idea? Because right now I don't see anything thing better than to wait, double bottom is always possible with Bitcoin in bear markets.
Just tell them about the basics and its up to them whether they would be buying on 23k price point or not, considering that we arent that the same when it comes to perspective whether we do buy for long term hold or

we do buy on short term ones. You do tell your friends about that option and its up to them on making up the decision. The right thing on here is that you shouldn't really make out some assurance that they could make money or earning money is too easy into this market because this is where people do usually believe into their minds.

On the time that they do experience out some losses or negative into their investment, then they would really be blaming out into that person who had introduced it to them which is YOU.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: February 01, 2023, 07:19:25 PM
Another thing about this idea:
Using a native token exclusively could make the casino to highly depend on the speculative market to handle their bankroll.

In short, if they token is having a good month in the market, then in theory the casino is having a good month, it also works in an inverse way. More than a casino chip, the token would behave like a share of the casino itself.

Even if the casino decided to keep some reserves in USDT, those are likely to be obtained by selling the native token itself, which could discourage people from buying in fear of a big sell by the casino (which is a whale as I previously stated).

It is better just to stick to Bitcoin and popular alcoins which people are happy to use already.
This idea is really too risky. If the casino isn't able to maintain a stable routine of gamblers on their platform they are going to suffer with severe volatility, what will definitely discourage gamblers from playing there or from holding their native token for long periods of time.

Casinos' projects which developed native tokens and promoted it as a good investment for holders have already failed before, if I remember correctly it happened with a titan casino from the early years of crypto called BetKing.

On the other hand, if the developer has a very creative idea of a gambling game, which can become popular in an unique way, I still think the idea of launching a native token can be successful.
Volatility of such native token isnt something that cant be avoided neither if there would be lots of players who had been acquiring and holding it and also depends if the certain token being listed on various exchange which lots of factors could really affect out on that tokens value. We know that people would really be that conservative when it comes to that because if they do find out that it wont really be worth it on holding
or acquiring it then it wont really be getting that much attention.Im aware on several coins like CSNO and on that Betking too which it did really give out those negative results i must say.
Lots of investors or supporters of those tokens had suffered huge loss.
1575  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 31, 2023, 10:26:37 PM
Well, luck will always have its role to play in our lives but never disregard effort. Why? Everyone can insert effort to anything they are doing but not all people would be lucky. So atleast, put dome effort until luck goes on your way becaude if you will just wait for luck to come into your life, it would mean nothing if you have not started anything. Let us all be not reliant of our fate 'coz there'll be times we are the ones who'd decide for our future and not luck alone. Athletes won't achieve titles if they are just lucky because they've worked hard more than how luck took place on their career. And same thing goes with everyone's success.
Yes, but not into the point that you are relying on luck or having no balance in between hard work and luck because we dont know on when it would hit us and this is why its better to have that mindset on doing your

best or hardwork+effort on whatever things that you are currently dealing with.Luck factor could only be determine on the time you are seeing that it is really that getting recognition or attention or simply with the demand.Yes, its true that it might give out some significance for whatever that we are dealing with.

Put that effort and dedication and see for yourself on what would be the results of it.
1576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 31, 2023, 10:22:33 PM
It doesn't always work. They can send you several promos to the mail so that you will surely play at least 1 time, but the bonus will somehow be associated with the first deposit.Beginners are not very often given free to play or place a bet.The service must make sure that you have money in order to understand whether it is worth spending time on you or not.
If its free spins then it might get that attention on which its totally free but on the wagering requirement then this is something that could make you lose interest but its common that they would be making those requirements because they are running a business and not something a charity that gives money for free. For those people who had just made out some registration and forgot that they had done it
and the casino sending out those promotional offers and bonuses then its whether a gambler would really be that getting interested or not on such offer. If they had quit up or lost interest on playing on a site
then they would just simply ignore it out but if it does poke up their interest then they would really be playing right away.
1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 31, 2023, 09:16:04 PM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
Success or failure is something that cant really be determined on which we dont know on what would be the outcome whether it would really be recognized or what.We do know that Bitcoin is the main coin on which

crypto people would really be preferring for them to play on and for them to accumulate on which we do know that it does have value. For the time that we do gamble then we do prefer on using Bitcoin and other top altcoins and not some sort or gambling platform token which isnt really able to touch up on exchangers or being traded or simply does have a value.

They wont really be that interested on something which doesnt really have any value.
1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 29, 2023, 08:16:59 PM
A gambler is a gambler, either be it online or offline,if he does not discipline himself and control his gambling activities, he will become an addict. Though, for those gamblers that has access to both,I agree with you that they will get more addicted easily because you can gamble at your own time and at anywhere you find yourself.

One thing I know for sure is that people that becomes addict are been carried away by the fun of the game or they are one way or the other trying to chase their lost.
You are right on which it doesnt matter on what are the things that it is in front of him,if he's really that tending to make out some gambling act then he would definitely do it.Although there is indeed some points that

having more accessibility or much easier path for you to gamble is really contributing into that kind of molding of your addiction. It do always falls down on someones perceptive and thinking on how they would really

be handling out themselves in speaking about gambling whether they would really be having that in control or would really be just having that impulsive approach.
Each person does have their own will whether they are already doing it too much or not.
1579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 29, 2023, 07:29:08 PM
<...>
Imagine yourself as a new gambler who just joined a casino, played a few dollars and with luck on your side, you win money running into thousands of dollars, will withdrawing your money plus winnings from that casino, never to return there to play again, mean you have beaten that casino?

Secondly, imagine that on your first day of gambling, you gambled $200 and in the process, won money running into hundreds of thousands of dollars, you withdraw the money and start up your own business, and never returned to gambling again, isn't this one way to beat the house?

You have a lot of confusion here. When we say that you can't beat the house, we are talking about the long term, and the two examples you give are short term. So no, you can't beat the house, and it doesn't care if you get lucky on the first play, cash out and don't come back because its business model is based on a lot of people betting, on big numbers, and not on what a player does on an individual play.

+ in a short time basis when it comes to session on the time you do play on which it cant be considered on beating up the house. The thing on where is that you had just quit up immediately after you do make some big

hits which you are the ones who would really be able to say that you had beaten up the house. Its true but not on general sense or point that you had able to do so.It is really just you had made out the right decision

on stopping and putting those profits in good use and never intend to go  further because it would really just mess up entirely once you do decide on making yourself
gamble up and asking for more and this is where gambler do most fall.

Wow, that's a really dire circumstance. I'm delighted the police are looking into the situation, and I hope justice will be done. It's important to keep in mind that stealing from others—especially your classmates—is both wrong and unlawful. I'm hoping that the impacted students will be able to recoup the money that was deducted from them. In order to prevent being a victim of fraud, it's also critical to exercise caution while investing and to constantly do your own research. It's awful to learn that the lady may have been defrauded, but stealing from others to make up for it is wrong.
Whom would really expect out?

Collection or accumulation of funds was really that intended for educational purposes or simply with those graduation which is really that important.Whom had really thought?
Why these funds arent been entrusted on the faculty or teachers itself considering that it is a huge funds?

They are really that too much in loose on making it handled by some student.I dont have any trust issues but when it comes to money and we dont know on how
