1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 25, 2023, 11:19:18 PM
~snip~
Not related to ChatGPT but I see in some fb post about talking AI, it was Elon Musk who's investing on it t's really something that the technology is bringing to economy, and moving back to AI who can help you in predicting the outcome of every sports event, so far it can give you idea but still it's you who will decide if you'll going to follow or use it as a basis before you can pick the game to bet on.
It's funny that people seem to put Elon Musk in anything related to technology.

They even claim he is Satoshi Nakamoto  Grin
What would you expect? We arent that blind that Elon is really focusing much on new technology niche which it isnt really that much shocking and you cant blame out people that everything this man does will
really be checked out and would be followed. He's that popular and influential enough on making significant effect specially on crypto space or whatever things that he's attached into.

AI now is progressing and its not shocking that it would hook up his interest into it and this is where people been anticipating on what his next move.Going back on topic in regarding making
use of AI to predict game outcomes? No it wont be that relevant considering that future things cant be predicted out.
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 25, 2023, 10:51:42 PM
It is a matter of your moral compass. I've seen a lot of religious folks engage in a lot of immoral activities and still attend church regularly. They preach about the teachings of God and does it so in a very condescending manner, as if they are not doing something wrong. Personally, I don't have any problems against these church leaders engaging in these kinds of activities. After all, they don't influence me in any way but those whom they stand up to are the ones that should really think about whether they'll still follow the church leader or not.
Yeah, the real answer will be are you willing to stop gambling? given these reasons are we going to continue to gamble or not. There is no religion on earth that allows drug dealing also people who took drugs needed to be jail and have some rehab. It is still based on your decision whether you should stop or you will follow yourself and prove to them you will not be addicted.
Addiction is one thing, and going against your own religion seems to be more of addiction to me. Church leaders are a role model to their followers, and if they can’t live what they are preaching then its better for them to stop doing it and stop fooling people. Winning the lottery is a big thing and with that money you can use that to make your church bigger but that guy choses a different path and I hope his followers will not follow him anymore.
People would definitely follow on whats up into their minds and would really be exchanging out for whatever they are currently dealing with even on what position they do have as long they would really be able to focus

out on something just like gambling since they do have the money on using on then for sure they would really be sticking with that and this is where these decisions do really make up.We dont have any choice because
this is where people do make out their decisions and its impossible that they wont really that aware on what they are doing. Just let them be on what are the things that they would gonna do.
They arent that small or children who arent on their minds on making non worth actions. Its impossible that they dont know on what are the things that could possibly happen.
1204  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for INVESTORS on: March 24, 2023, 09:08:55 PM
<snip>
I am curious to know... is this game will be related to gambling? I assume it's a yes since you had it posted here. From that, how will you incorporate gambling with this game?
Also on what systems will it be available to play? Let's see if this game is a good one.
Looks like the OP didn't provide any details about the game he wants to develop just some screenshots and it won't be easy to convince investors.
I'm not sure if this will be related to gambling even though this thread is in the gambling section, but it's not as clear as some people here can relate to.
My hope at this time if indeed the OP wants to find investors here at least provide details of the plans and the future of the game.
Its still on developmental stage which op did make out some post about some screenshots on here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5445808.msg61955126#msg61955126

Its really that not shocking that it would really be just simply ignored considering that investors arent that dumb on shelling out their money on something which is sh*t.
This is why its really hard to find out investors online even if you do provide some good presentation on the current development of the site.
1205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 24, 2023, 07:39:27 PM
Very simple if many people buy 1 Bitcoin it will spike the price so its a self evident bet of a kind, so long as he get enough publicity.   Either way he wins probably as its cheaper then buying advertising.    But yes BTC can rise dramatically if it gains interest of many people, there is limited supply.
The vast majority of commodities in the world will respond with great supply when prices justify it, even gold and other rare elements are just waiting for the right price and supply opens right up.   BTC will not increase, its quite unique in that way and so for certain high prices are possible if demand outweighs supply.

If bitcoin continues to maintain its current growth rate plus limited supply, bitcoin price will go up and maybe $1 million is what will happen, but in this story it is absurd and unlikely that bitcoin will hit $1 million within the next 90 days. I'm no expert, but I can bet you that will never happen in such a short time. I don't know who the person making that prediction is, but I believe he is just trying to get people's attention rather than making serious bitcoin predictions.
Possible but it wont really be that happening in short time.Did check out if there's someone who did really bait off the deal and there really is.

Former Coinbase CTO makes $2M bet on Bitcoin’s performance

So this would really be a good thing to watch on whose gonna get that 2M worth with this deal.Someone do really able to realize and take
the deal and thinks off the realistic approach.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game do you think is a Game of Chance or a Game of Skill? on: March 24, 2023, 06:58:56 PM
I just went through all the replies on this thread and found many members here confused with skill and luck. I mean luck is an important part of a gambler suit but skill will only help you to get a little advantage over the house but not money. The probability of winning a big amount is what makes gambling so irresistible and gives intense excitement.

So, you have gambled and you have decided which game is of chance or a game of skill but can someone provide me proof that they really made millions by playing a game you consider is skill-based or luck based?

It depends on where you are suitable for playing gambling not all the time its fit to the player's habit or activity is fit to others, better find where you are better, people want to play slot games because they do not need to build some strategy and get frustrated and stress because of the game just keep or make an automatic gameplay and you can now play your game with a profit it depends, some people want to use the strategic gambling game to make sure still it depends on their decision making and defeating other players with their own skills. I prefer with the skill base because im doing always is to bet in sports and e-sports gambling.
Always falls down on users preference on what type of games they would really be getting into because not all would really be sticking into something neither strategic ones or luck based type of games.
If you are knowledgeable on playing slots and other luck based then this is where you would really be ending up on choosing. It would really be just simple to determine on what type of games which had been mentioned
on op which we know and able to point out which one does need up some skill and which ones does really purely based or rely on luck. This is why it is really just that depending
on yours on which one you would be tending to play on.
1207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is bitcoin trading like stock trading, forex, someone in middle or neither? on: March 24, 2023, 06:15:20 PM
I'm a noob trader, and just trying to get to grips with all the concepts involved.

Can experienced traders provide some insight into how they see bitcoin trading, whether it more like stock trading or forex, it would be very interesting. If this has been discussed before, apologies.

tia
When we do speak about similarity then it would really be having these keywords;

Its both a market (up and down price)
Compose of (sellers and buyers)
Can apply (TA and FA)

When it comes to opposites;

Legalization
Volatility
Recogtion/Popularity
Profitability
Risks factor

You would be finding for yourself once you do step your foot in between these markets.
Just to speak that im a forex trader wayback but since im really that attracted to crypto volatility then
i had decided to stay on this market although its risky but its worth if once you do have a good grasps of it.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: March 24, 2023, 12:38:32 PM
As you all will say that Still there is almost 1 and half year away for USA elections but still I want to highlight this option because here there will be almost in millions of bets that people will do and also that's based on speculations and also someone's interest.
I think that this could be one of the biggest Bets we can see because a whole world Knows america and it's superpower and it's has international recognization because of it's influence to the whole world.
So what are your speculations over this USA elections. And I know that everybody has their own speculations and also wins and also loose. So let's see what will happen?
Really too far off for us to discuss on this upcoming USA elections which it is still on next year but its not really that bad to make out some early discussions but of course it would really be that not that appealing for
most people until it would really come nearer.Of course we do have our own bets and its true that this kind of election is something that hooks up most peoples interest and do wants to see which same as you said that we do know on what influence and recognition on what USA does have which it would really be normal that we would really be that bit excited on how it do  ends up.
Speaking on my own bet or choice then i would really be going into someone who arent that anti-crypto.  Cheesy
1209  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is for the important things on: March 23, 2023, 11:12:40 PM
without money we cannot do many things, with money we can bring all things or happiness,

Money cannot buy happiness, peace, or good health; however, there are people who have money but are facing some serious unexpected emotional challenge; they have money but do not have peace of mind. I am saying this out of experience. A very wealthy man in the city were I resid lost his mother; the woman was young, but her health issues were severe; the son was distraught; he had enough money for every treatment, but his mother died. He made a statement and said, "above all, everything is just vanity." We try to make money to at least help others who need help, send children to school, and do other important things like OP's topic.
Time and health is something that cant really be bought by money but somewhat you could really take things in cherishing up things if you do have the money and in speaking of health on which you could be able to

medicate if ever you are really that having a problem with it on which if you do really need up money. It is really that crucial that someone should be having the money, if you dont then you would easily die
if you dont have the money for you to make use of. This is why people or us would really be thriving our very best on acquiring or earning in different various sources as much as possible
because we are really that aiming for financial freedom.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 23, 2023, 10:46:40 PM
Losing doesn't mean the site is cheating, this is how gambling works and probably you made a mistake with your bet or its really a bad day for you. This is gambling, losing are more possible than winning and this is not cheating, gambling is a business so expect that you will not always win. If you are using the best site, you can have a peace of mind about its fairness since it is already a proven site, what you can do is try to know if the site is being fair or have any issues, if you find any better to leave that site and look for a good one.
We can't tell what exactly is happening and what sites or platform the OP been using but it all depends on what algorithm or codes that casino have been using. So what if they actually do add some stuff on the codes everytime you bet large amount the higher the chances their platform will win? Ever think about that before?

If it's a legit or reputable casino perhaps this won't be a problem to OP but who knows? Casinos/gambling is designed to actually make the owner win most of the time and not the other way around.

The very reason why it is always advisable to play on a reputable casino.
Because if they are known to be one, they won't make a mistake of cheating their players.
As they will be discovered by any of their players. And if it is out in the community, their business is screwed.
There are some silent users who will do the work of investigating the casino, and they will only disclose it once they found the loophole inside.
Why people cant just stick out on reputable casinos rather than on sticking into those new ones or not so popular? People do end up on being scammed or really make unfair losses due into those
curiosity on testing out those sites. They arent automatically considered to be shady but it would be always advisable that you should really be that sticking into known ones.
We cant really make out conclusions if casinos are cheating on us or really that totally fair but you would really be not minding on things if you do just just simply stick
out on what are those current popular places.
1211  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin Dumping ? on: March 23, 2023, 09:43:52 PM
The rise and fall of bitcoin prices is a natural thing. Moreover, the cryptocurrency market is relatively new and does not have the regulatory and stability framework like traditional financial markets. But recently the price of bitcoin has started to rise again where the price of bitcoin is currently trading again in the range of $27k. Therefore, it doesn't look like the bitcoin price will drop further to the $17k area.
It wont be called a market in the first place if it wont really be having that kind of behavior where those ups and downs would really be just that typical on a market. Why Bitcoin is dumping?

Of course because we do have that sellers as we do called and someone who would be bought into those floor prices then it would really be called buyers which is the basic concept of this market.

If you cant bare up with the risks involved about these volatility then it wont really be that just right for you. This is how market works where prices do really move out
and this is where people do make out money.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 23, 2023, 08:23:42 PM
Most of the time I play Blackjack & Dice.  I have always noticed that when I bet a large amount I am a loser when it comes to Dice.  Also in case of Blackjack when I bet big amount I get wrong card due to which I lose the bet. On the other hand when I bet small amount I win in case of Dice and if I bet small amount multiple times I win multiple times.  In Blackjack, when I bet small amounts, I am always get good cards and win the bets. Thus the cycle continues.  I have noticed that it is not an easy thing to withdraw from having achieved something great. I always gamble for fun with small amounts and lose them but I don't care. But I started playing blackjack yesterday with $1k and noticed that the casino sites are somehow cheating us. I lost my $1k yesterday. through Blackjack. What do you think about casino site algorithms?  Are they cheating with us?
Depending on which site you are playing on but it is unlikely if you do stick into a known one for them to cheat whenever you do have a big bankroll or allocation but who knows right? If you do able to notice out those

notable differences when it comes to outcomes then why wont stick out on smaller bets and make up some wins rather than on pushing yourself on trying to prove out and make use of huge ones?

It is really that hard to make out some conclusions in regarding to this considering that gambling do always means about losing for long term or runs which its never been that recommendable if you are
really trying to pursue out on making money which is really that a bad idea.
1213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 23, 2023, 07:40:00 PM
It was an uncle of mine who took a loan on his name and sent it to a childhood friend living in America, he knew I was a crypto enthusiast and he never asked me to help him. I asked him why he took the loan for this, and he replied that the person is reliable, and his friend is a crypto trader, but he doesn't even know how crypto works.

I find out that his friend is focusing on meme coins only, he invested in crypto projects on pink sale, and the names are the type that you will laugh at when you hear them, I later told my uncle to keep praying that things go his way, he still believes that his friend is better than me and I am not trying to prove that I am better.

I hope things go well like they hope, but this is a very big concern for me, because if anything happens, he will be left alone to pay back the loan, this can be life threatening because he is old and the loan amount is a lot, or do you have any better idea about this? What would you have done if you are in my shoes?
Just let him be since its his decision after all, if he was really seeing you as a better one then he would really be entrusting those amounts to you but he didnt but rather he did trust up someone other than you.

Good thing that you do let him know about meme coins and everything on pink sale doesnt guaranteed out profits and this is where learning would really comes in on which he would really be realizing that
crypto investment is never been safe and something risky to deal with and its better to make up decisions basing up with your own analysis and never ever trust up someone
to handle up your money in behalf of yours.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 22, 2023, 11:37:28 PM
My top preference would be a strong community and a good reputation. Bonuses and promotions as well as other offers would be nothing if a casino is not reputable and trusted.
Bonuses are attractions from the casinos but I think that they'll be good even without those but still, it has become a norm to most of them that they should offer it even with small amounts of prizes.

KYC will never be a big issue if a casino assures security and only reputable sites are capable of that.
If a casino is trusted, that is because it provides promising features and is making its community strong as well. A reputable casino contains all the good qualities and features that make their players stay.
It won't be an issue if you've been playing on them for so long and then suddenly asked you to do it. It could be a mixed feeling for you when you've been asked but the majority says that it's one of the concerns that makes them off from a casino.

Based on what everyone is saying, the majority agrees about reputation.
Reputation does have it all on which you would only need to find this criteria or thing on which you could assume out that all of the things you are looking into does really have on one place on the time you would really be able to search this reputable site because just like the rest been saying that they wont really be reaching out this point if they arent really that good enough or doesnt have these kind of qualities. We do know
that each person does have their own choices and preference or criteria on choosing on which one but basing up with those features and common functions then we are really that mostly be sticking on something
that offers something new or havent been tested or tried out on this market.Honestly most of the offerings are really that becoming boring due to saturated market.
1215  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and the Hart of humanity on: March 22, 2023, 11:05:12 PM
Although money isn't everything but it's has a key role to play in ones life. There are things you can't buy no matter how rich you are. Can money buy happiness? This is what most rich people should know.
Money cant indeed buy happiness but we know that in todays years where money is the sole reason on why you could achieve things since you could actually do the things that you do like on where you could really make

some travel together with your family which do means about bonding and other needs which you would need for them to supply on.I agree that there are things which cant be bought by money but we cant really deny that it does play a big main role into our lives. This is why we do strive on trying out to earn as much as possible since we do know on what are the benefits that it could give if we do have that financial indepence.
It is really just that people do really just forgot if ever they had attained or reach out that peak and ended up unbalanced.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 22, 2023, 10:20:12 PM
CBDCs are not cryptocurrencies.

Non of our concern here with fiat, CBDCs are just fiat and nothing more. If any gambling site begins to accept CBDCs which is what would later happen, they are still just accepting fiat. Our concern here is crypto, not fiat.
Exactly and this is why this news isnt really that something interesting because we know that CBDC's = Fiat which it isnt really that something new.We community would really be that interest if ever this one talks about

accepting Bitcoin and other altcoins in the market would be something that would really be that interesting but this one talks CBDC's.. nahhh... This isnt something that look interesting.

This wont really be that a good news for us crypto community. They cant accept all they want but it would be great if crypto overall would be reconsidered.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: March 22, 2023, 09:59:24 PM
Planning
Persistence

Follow according to your plan and be persistent on what you are trying to achieve but of course you should really be needing to be versatile because conditions on this market is really that unpredictable.
The right mindset you should really have is on how to achieve your goals but of course you should really be making yourself that prepared for whatever things that you would encounter on this market
where lots of ups and down and unexpected turns of events which would really be experience. So make yourself that prepared for that!
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Game do you think is a Game of Chance or a Game of Skill? on: March 22, 2023, 09:22:12 PM
Slots- Luck
Blackjack- Skill
Baccarat- Luck
Poker- Skill

Just like others been pointing out that that online blackjack is somewhat particularly needs up some luck most of the time which i do agree though.
In overall, if you do really want to have that have fun then its up to someones preference on which one he would really be preferring into.
1219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 21, 2023, 10:41:24 PM
That guy is just doing it to make a trend and make himself popular. I really, really doubt bitcoin reaches $1 million in 90 days. If only I have a lot of bitcoins, I will take the bet although that guy is most likely not going to respond. Bitcoin is now worth $544 billion and if ever a single bitcoin reaches $1 million, the whole market capitalization would be around $20 trillion. I even doubt a single bitcoin reaches a price of $1 million in 2025 which is the usual time a heavy bull run happens. I would love to see bitcoin reach a million dollars but I am more realistic in my assumptions.
Lets just all be realistic because it would really just annoy or disappoint you if you do make yourself get in line with Balaji in trying out to tell that Bitcoins price would reach up $1M per coin which it is really that impossible. People are really just easily get dragged with the hype if there's someone do make out some claims about particular price points without even trying to check on what the overall total market capitalization if
ever the price would hit up even on $500k. I cant imagine or cant really be that possible on reaching out a million. Not to be sour but lets just that realistic so that you wont really be that
getting disappointed after 90 days.  Cool
1220  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 21, 2023, 09:32:21 PM

In fact, those who bet such large amounts are usually not a average gamblers. They certainly have a big earning source.

Such gambler is not a new comer in betting. He must have been trying his hands on it for long and in fact considering the amount used, he may be a steady winner that has seen gambling as a business and increasing his stake is not a problem. For real risk takers in gambling, it is a chance to increase there wealth, for example the rap star, drake has huge appetite for gambling and has done several with stake.com also winning very big wager
They do have the finances, then why it is really that a big issue or in main talks about for a certain person who do lose up big? just because it wasnt really worth for those amounts to be spend that way?

Just let them be on what they do tend to do so because its their money and its none of our business if they would be spending up millions of dollars on each bet.Its impossible that they arent aware
on the risks involved on the time that they do put up their bets.

They do have the money so it wont really be not shocking if ever they would lose bigtime.
