1281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 28, 2023, 10:17:26 PM

Look, I aint no expert on sports bettin, but I know enough to tel ya that it's a risky busness, especially when you're betting on the little guys or long shots. Don't get me wrong, it's cool to dream big and all, but you gotta remember to keep it real and only bet what you can afford to lose. And let's not forget about the thrill of the game, it's easy to get carried away and forget about the risks involved. I mean, can you even imagine losing $1.4 milion?! That's some serious dough! So, my advice to you is to stay balanced and not let your emotions get in the way of makin smart decisions. It's always better to be prepared and not take unnecessary risks, amirite?

Preparation is very important in risk taking because there are numbers of factors that need to be considered when taking the risk, those factors are very essential to our overall well being when the outcome of the risk arrive in fact there is no need to risk anything if you are not sure what the outcome may be and if you are prepared enough to face the outcome.
The thing about risk is that it can be beneficial and at the same time very drastic if not properly calculated and in football betting we must be smart enough to make every step based on calculation and factual analysis.

If you are capable to handle the risk there no problem at all, if you are a type of gambler where you can just move forward whatever the outcome might be, but in a serious note $1.4M is something that not many can really take for a single bet, even the chances of winning is high that's still huge amount that you are placing where upset can still happen.

Gambling environment always accompany of risk whatever the percentage of winning if luck is not at your side, losing is for real.
It is really that impossible for someone whose not been aware on what he's been doing on the time that he/she make out some bets.If he could bet millions of dollars then expect that it isnt really only the money he

do have but still have lots.If you are an addicted person then for sure you would really be that impulsive when it comes into your bets which is something that you would really be doing this kind of betting behavior.

1.01 doesnt assure 100% winning of a certain game.Upset could really happen along the way which would really be fucking up your all in bet.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is there so much resistance for Bitcoin reaching $25,000 on: February 28, 2023, 09:55:59 PM
I'll just keep wait and see while stacking up the coins.

I tend to have a short bull in the next few months and beware of the deathcross ahead , breaking into $30k and get dropped suddenly is very likely happened for me so yeah i prefer to play a bit safer than ever now , bull trap ahead.
I think drop won't be a big one. Sure there will always be some drops like the one we recently had, I mean when we reached 24.5k levels, we dropped back to 23k and even a bit lower, that is understandable and that type of drops will happen. But, I do not think that something like 30k to 20k or lower is possible, that type of huge fall will not happen.

We already had our bear market, and the prices already went down, from here on out it will be bigger ups and smaller downs, it will go up 2k and down 1k and keep going up that way for a long time, 2 foot forward one foot backwards, the overall result will be going higher and doing better in the end.
Big drop or not then it wont matter because we have no choice but to deal with things on whatever it would be because we cant really be able to know on what are the things that would happen ahead.
Speaking about resistances then it is really just that pretty normal that in every -+increment there would really be a resistance or selling point.

Its true that the market had been able to try up on breaking out that 25k resistance but it is really that tough on which it had been many times for it to be had rejected.
We been hovering or playing around 23-25k up and down which i could say that it isnt really that bad to scalp for some profits with these kind of movements
or volatility.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Loses $400K Bitcoin Bet on Jake Paul’s Bout on: February 28, 2023, 08:46:42 PM
what lessons can be learned by this event?
That celebrities can have gambling problems too and that they can also be wrong, and you should not make the mistake of thinking that due to their level that they know gambling well and then follow their games and predictions. Drake can afford to loose a huge amount because he has the means to get it back, but can you? The choices you make in gambling should be personal and not a replica of another persons opinion without research. Your decision and choices can be influenced by another persons opinion, but you have to be able to do some analysis on your own and not follow blindly.
Yes, they have problems, however, this celebrities have money to burn, so we can't say if they are really addicted or not.

And he has bet on several sports if I'm not mistaken, and he either win or lose, just like regular gamblers here in our community. I guess the lesson is that we should gamble money that we can afford to lose, from celebrities to just average joe gamblers. It's too bad though if there is some gamblers who just blindly follow the bet of their celebrities.
It is really just that people are really that too mindful on someones money on how it should be spend or on how it should be used without even trying out to realize that it is someones money and they could do whatever

they do want.It is really just that there are people who do make out huge bets something like this on which it would really be that raising up some questions or things in mind but thats how they do make up bets.
They do have the finances and capabilities on doing so.Also its not on first time on Drakes losses and for sure there are lots of more which is bigger than this.

We know on how popular Drake is and making up some cash or income wont really be that a problem and also its his money and its none of our business on how he would be using or spending it.
1284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on the Rise, But Proceed with Caution! on: February 28, 2023, 07:20:31 PM
On their rush to make profits many traders forget that just as they can me money they can lose it too, after all everyone is looking for the very same thing and they want to earn money by trading.

So it is important to be as cautious as possible, especially at the start of our journey when the mistakes will not only be more frequent but larger as well, but once you have acquired enough experience and you are a profitable trader then you can take a few more risks and increase your profits in this way.
That experience was too painful. Imagine, you already saw the money in your two big eyes but then you will also witnessed them declining. It's either you are greedy and didn't stop on what you are doing or you pick up a wrong coin which life span is only for short term but that should taught you a lesson and it was up to you if you will try again and do what's right this time or you will quit permanently like the others due to much disappointment and heavily losses.

We all here are the same. whether pro or noob, our goal is to earn money but we should not be hasty because it will only lead to disasters. Even in trading, patience is still badly needed here.
This is why its really important that you should really check which project does really have that real use case or actual utility which you do assume out that it would be able to good on holding it for long term.

The best way for you to avoid on making hasty decisions is that you should't really rush up yourself and thinking on being rich or making huge profits because thats not how this market works.

Everything does really require sufficient knowledge and that patience whether it would really be already that good to sell or to hold up into your position.
This is why every action does really need up considerations before proceeding.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Neither Good or Bad on: February 28, 2023, 06:48:38 PM
Gambling isnt good nor even bad, it is really just on how people do able to approach and make their actions because if we do think up the real way on which it is really that gambling is really for fun and something that

do really make someone do enjoy his vacant time but of course it would really be the expense of someones money for the entertainment he do seek.Things goes bad on the time that he do make out actions and decisions which would causes for his/here life to mess up because of the bad decisions that he's making.

If you do find yourself that spending too much money and really that impulsive into your decisions or simply your behavior is really starting up to change then this is where wrong things do happen.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: February 26, 2023, 08:05:50 PM
Congratulations for your good luck.
I hope that money helps you to do more profitable investments in the future.
This may be the biggest win I have seen someone to share here since I joined the forum.

...And I feel lucky when get 10$ at dices.  Roll Eyes
I doubt he will use it for investments. That takes time to earn a profit but if he can just do what he currently does, money is going to flow easily. We shouldn't worry because he has a long year of experience already on this business. Maybe you don't hang out often in this board and that is why you missed a lot of happenings pertaining to gambling but no doubt, the OP's win is one of the biggest.

There are still lots of big winners but they prefer to be more confidential about it to protect their selves. We can still be able to see their bets and winning amounts if we check the high rollers tab in each gambling site that we visit. We as a small gambler, we shouldn't compare ourselves to those whales. Our winning will still look large for us and we are happy about it.
Some do boast off since they do know that they cant really be able to be abducted or something could be scammed or hack since we know that on this crypto market where being anonymity is always the main key

and this is why some are really that too confident on sharing up their winning amounts on public without worrying about these risk.If you do really win big specially into those who do gamble then they would usually

be playing even more and having those hopes that they would really be winning further or more. There are really indeed small amount bets turns out to win to huge ones
neither on long streakparlay and that huge odds which we dont even believe that it could really be hit up.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 26, 2023, 07:27:08 PM
Come to online or offline gambling and think about winning and looking for lots of profits, it will be a pressure that requires you to win when the game lasts. There will be no calm when you the first game you do lose and keep losing. It's different if gambling is just to fill their free time just as entertainment, they won't think about winning or losing. They just want to unwind and use the rest of the money they still have. When you win, the game ends and will stop, but for those who just want to make money and big profits, the first win is not a sign of stopping but it will be a starter to keep playing until you finally lose and lose everything.
Usually gamblers do stop when they dont have money on their pockets anymore which it would really be that a very common scenario and this is why when they are winning then most of us would still continue to play

until we do bust up all of those balances. It doesnt really give out that more winning chance when you are playing yourself for fun but on general sense then it must or should really be on that way.

Gambling is should for run but gamblers are really that aiming for money.Poker on real or physical casinos are really that much better rather than on playing online.
It is really that on different ambiance when you are really that dealing on something on face to face.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 26, 2023, 07:15:53 PM
@danherbias07  - It was the Olympics though that Roy Jones was robbed of the gold medal, so it can't be compare and that was a long time ago. But in any case I agree that Fulton needs to go to Japan and handle his business with the Monster.

That's the only way he can really gain the respect of being a champion, but beating Inoue in his home town. Going to be a big task for him, at least he is willing to take that and not avoiding him.
Is it official that this fight will happen in Inoue's hometown and is there a set date already?

This will be by far a tough fight for Fulton facing Inoue and might be his first loss. Fulton is also a good boxer known as defensive but is his strength and power enough to beat the monster? I don't think so. Nevertheless I admire him for his guts to face Inoue.

AFAIK, it's not yet official and I tried looking up on the web to see if there's a new update regarding their fight. What we have now is just a verbal agreement between both camps that they agreed to fight at 122 and that the said fight will take place in Japan somewhere in April or May. Although it's not yet official, the likelihood of the fight being in hosted in Japan is greater than it could happen in the U.S. soil.
These are still in talks but Bob had made out some talks about Asap.

https://www.badlefthook.com/2023/1/30/23578930/bob-arum-updates-on-inoue-vs-fulton-haney-lomachenko-top-rank-parting-berlanga-boxing-news-2023
https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/01/naoya-inoue-vs-stephen-fulton-possible-for-april-says-bob-arum/

Its likely it would really be pushed on April.I thought this was already been finalized.
1289  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: February 26, 2023, 06:58:15 PM
Money and education which one of these is advisable to achieve?
They constantly say education is the key to success but in my country today many graduates don't have a job, and most of them are still fed by their parents, and that's not the way it's supposed to be.
And again they also said money is potency and fondness. Yes, money is power even if you are not a graduate or you haven't been to college before and you have the money you can even employ a graduate to work for you.
Presently now in my wonderful fatherland NIGERIA 🇳🇬 I can see the power of money.
Please any advice?
Education.. Why? If you do have the degree then you do have the advantage compared into those who have none although this isnt an assurance because there are no degree holders are more successful compared into

those who do have. This is also really depends but its always better to have one rather than on having no degree at all.Second if you do have education then you are really that having knowledge which is something that

an advantage compared into those who have none.It is really an edge compared to those who dont have much awareness or education because you cant really be that so sure of
on everything. This is why having that intellect is really that an edge.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you keep your gambling habit under control? on: February 24, 2023, 11:35:03 PM
Seeing how many people who are problem gamblers today did not have the intention of becoming gamblers who lack self control but somehow they are now gamblers who cannot control themselves, It means that everyone is at the danger of become such if it is not put in check.

How do you keep your gambling habit in check such that becoming addicted and out of control is something that never happens?

(share your strategy for others to benefit from)
It is just to be discipline and that's it. Have a budget for gambling. The budget shouldn't be like what will worry you when you lose all.the money. When you set out your budget weekly. Stick to your budget so that when your budget finishes for the week, you rest and wait for next week. With this style, you will be moderated.
Dont go beyond your limits and that would be the key on having that good control towards your finances which you wont really be finding yourself into deep trouble just because you had just make yourself that impulsive.
Everything should be in under control because if not then you would really be putting yourself into big trouble.Gambling should be a fun thing and not a depressing one just because you had lost that much.
Keep yourself having in track of your finances and be wary whether you do need to stop or not basing on what you had left.Dont make yourself that desperate because if you do
lost control then you do know on whats next.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 24, 2023, 09:42:48 PM
3. When its not going in your favor, stop immediately.

This should be your main concern when you do gamble on which you should know and stop midway if things turns out to be negative.
Gambling is for tune but people do really make it as an another source of income or they do really mind off about on making money.
If you do really tolerate out that greed inside you then you would definitely be facing up problems later on.
Play on something that you could afford to lose and dont make yourself that desperate.
while I do agree on that sentiment , yet this is only applicable to those experienced gambler that has self control , but for those who gamble for the sake of living and near coming addiction?
I don't think it is easy for them to just leave and noticed when or how they are not favoring gambling lol.

But indeed that OP has good intentions here and if this is truly based on His own experienced and not just copied to earn merits as he is eager to rank up? then this is  a helpful thoughts and advices .

Thanks to OP and hope many of us find this thread as helping them out to win against the addiction of gambling.
This is one of the most common misconception towards gambling is that there are people who do really pushes up themselves on making gambling as their main source of income or living which is really that very wrong.

You would really be making yourself that desperate because you would be trying out to achieve on what you do have in mind. This is why setting up goals is something that should be that realistic
and attainable.

Gambling is for fun and making a living is only to those people who had been doing sports betting or some card games which you could apply analysis but of course
only a few do really succeed into this kind of path.
1292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Life's first investment in Bitcoin by selling bicycles on: February 23, 2023, 11:27:33 PM
Invest what you can afford to lose, Always remember that. I hope that you didn't need your bike in your daily life since If it is, I believe it is more important that having bitcoin. Don't risk too much especially that you are new to this industry, It a good thing that you did your first move as you are into cryptocurrency. Newbies tend to lose at first as they get a grasp of what they are entering into that's why we don't really recommend risking something that is important such as selling something that is needed on your daily lives.
Always the primary rule which people should really be considering out before they would be touching up the crypto space because we cant really be sure on what would happen next and also this market had been

unpredictable and volatile in the first place. If you do put up all of your savings and earnings on Bitcoin or other crypto then there's always a risk since there would be no guarantee. This is why you should really make yourself that self accepted that it cant really be that just a simple investment where its risk-free.

If you do make out those initial steps on acquiring bitcoin then its good but be wary on what you are doing as always.

1294  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: February 23, 2023, 09:16:28 PM
Development is moving pretty fast, but we must understand that 2035 is not such a long time from now, it is just merely 12 or so years away, thus making it almost impossible for co2 emission vehicles to be completely (100%) out of the market, there would prolly be improvements regarding some of the factors affecting the widespread of EV's, but i don't don't think it is possible that they would dominate the roads in EU countries come 2035.

Having said that, by 2035 both petrol/diesel cars and EV's would both be used in the EU, and there would surely be a rise in the adoption of EV's by then. Number of charging stations, battery issues, charging speed, cost of the vehicles, etc, are some of the problems associated with the adoption of EV's, but by 2035 there is bound to be solutions to most of them, but not to the extent of making petrol/diesel cars extinct in the EU.
Do we really think that petrol or oil industry would really be letting for this thing to happen? No its not and this is why i dont really believe on such idea or innovation.Yes, we might be seeing that we are slowly progressing when it comes on moving into EV's but still we do know that petrolled cars is always been better on most aspect. We could really save up the environment + we could save up cost from fuel but
we would really be in balance about on the expenses if these ev's would be in repair or somewhat in maintenance. This is why it does have its con's too and also it couldn't
really outmatched a petrol powered when it comes to power and torque.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is easier to make bets on? on: February 23, 2023, 08:57:24 PM
Football is more predictable because it’s a long game compared to MMA that can reverse the result with just one lucky hit or submission. In football, A dominant can completely control the tempo of the game through strategy and substitution while MMA is purely based on fighters skills and luck when landing a strike.

But this varies too based on your preferred sports. It will be easier for you to bet on MMA if you are watching MMA most of the time and vice versa. My analysis above is based on the game technicality alone.
When we do speak about potential lucky hits or shots then football is no exemption, yes it could really be a long game which substitution or possible injuries could still happen or lets just say that several factors that could really affect out the game. This is why we cant really say that Football is much better than MMA when it comes to winning chances but i do agree on the fact that its better to stick into a sports on which you are really that knowledgeable or something that interest you in, because when you do make out some betting then you could really be able to enjoy up your bet compared on betting on a game which you arent
really that even know on what it is.Bet according into your own preference and interest which is the best.
1296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity vs. KYC: The Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: February 22, 2023, 11:52:21 PM
KYC is usually bad for cryptocurrency users. Yet things never turn out the way we want them to. The amount of regulation that centralized exchange must comply to is low. Users are forced to submit KYC because of exchange terms and conditions, although there are no benefits to doing so. A centralized exchange would request KYC whenever they felt like it. Don't feel completely comfortable since those don't currently require KYC.
There's no way on avoiding this considering that regulation do becomes strict specially on services and platforms which are involved or connected on cryptocurrency transactions specially on exchange platforms but somehow these kind of regulation does impose some security on users funds if ever these platforms do really make out some shady move.Yes, we arent that non knowledgeable when it comes on how DEX
works and yes its really something preferred if we do speak about total anonymity but since we are really that minding about having those fiat conversions then we wont really be having
no choice but to touch up these areas.
This is true and on point!

When you do buy crypto - Neither p2p or using exchange or services that using up CC/Debit cards.
When you do withdraw crypto to fiat - You would be making use of exchange platform.

You could do all of these things when you are kyc-verified which means that you cant able to proceed if you aren't that verified.
If you are really just making it use for trading coins without pulling it off and making it a fiat then verification wont really be
that much needed.
1297  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲Tower.bet 🎲🔥 New Platform arrived 🎲Crash 🎲 HiLo 🎲 Wheel 🎲Contests 🎲 on: February 22, 2023, 10:44:58 PM
What's the point of locked coins then if they have the same value?
There is a maximum supply limit of 10 billion Decoy tokens. The users would be able to own unlimited decoy tokens by doing the wager if there was no restriction for it. Maybe the casino team wants to manage the flow of the Decoy token by applying the locking method of mined coins.
Understanding it out that the mined decoy tokens werent 100% been locked+stake (80%) which it do still boggles up because why they cant make it 100%? Is this just for making those wagerers to see at least that they are getting something even not that much? 180 days or 6 months is still a long month to wait up before those tokens been released. As i understand that they do have that balance cap on how much
decoy token you would accumulate and what would happen for the excess if ever you do maxed it out?
1298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: February 22, 2023, 09:43:57 PM
For long term holders I'll say keep pressing on, give no second thought to the news going round especially when it's a near future impact news. There will always be news about bitcoin wether positive or negative but for a long term holder the goal is to hold strong and steady till the eventual bull erupt.
Holding word isnt never that easy considering that we are actively seeing on what we could able to see on the market condition which might really that affecting us really that hard even if we do tend for holding on long term. Price of Bitcoin could neither go up and down but there's no way for us to tell on where it would be ending or where it would stop. This is why traders could really be classified into several types which some do make out some scalping and some do engage with swing trades or whatsoever that they could be able to play with volatility. This is why it would really be depending on how you would really be dealing with
it and not all would really be able to bare up about volatility.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Make Big Money at the Casino — Without Gambling on: February 22, 2023, 08:19:40 PM

Now, in all of the Five, which of this do you think is the funniest and most interesting?

For me, I think Number 1 is  Grin that Carleo guy is such a clown  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
lets dicuss guys ..
Number #2

Hack a Fish-Tank.

Honestly, i didnt see one this coming and among the lists this had been the other way around which we cant see on these cases and the rest are those common probable situations that someone could
commit out like kidnapping casino owner daughter or bring some bomb or robbing the place. Speaking about #2 then it is really that the casino had been careless about it but whom had
thought that it would be targeted out or having the exploit for the hacker to access into the network? They had just let it slipped but a very unique way on accessing
out without being caught.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another story telling how billionaires hate bitcoin? - read over quick coffee. on: February 22, 2023, 07:18:01 PM
Why give a huge basis about what he say? Everyone has right to express his opinion regarding on what they believe. If he think bitcoin is bad so be it so many people tells a bad word about it but there belief shifts when they see golden opportunity about the cryptocurrency industry.  Let those old guys stick to traditional since once digital space boom they will be outdated and eat back the words what he say.
Each one of us does really have that own opinion and words about on certain stuffs on which we would really be that neither be negative or positive towards it.Come into the point in speaking about Bitcoin or crypto as

a whole on which we know that not all would really be ending up on having a positive approach into it specially into those who are getting used to traditional thing on which they would really be
always have that something to say on whatever innovation or whats something new in the market.

Hate it or love it, it all matters and depends into them because we do have different perception and approach on different things.
