1361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and investing, and still very broke.why? Is it spiritual? on: February 02, 2023, 06:45:55 PM
I sit-down to wonder why traders who are consistent in trading and also investing still remain very broke despite the effort they put to erradicating poverty, but it still seems like there is some sort of unforseen and spiritual forces controlling the physical.Or should it be foundational curse from the forefathers affecting the present circumstances?or is it that the poverty is inherited? Or is it a gene or chromosome?.These are questions that that I tend to ask.
Could you believe I couldn't stop laughing reading your post? I guess you are a Nigerian, perhaps some black part of Africa. Frankly, a thing like spiritual could be present, but they target a few sets of people, so it's irrelevant since the majority are losing in retail trading/investments. Professionally, based on my experience, people do not understand what trading and investment are, they are rushing in and out and approaching them wrongly.

This causes their losses, and since you can't make money through them, you will lose, hence the reason for their poverty. This will continue until they get it right.
Who would really be that sad on the time that they are making money or being profitable with trading or something that they are engaging into? When you do know into yourself that you are really that making money
and making yourself get out from poverty and making or having that feeling of being sad just because you arent that contented or looking for something?

This is actually a personal kind of viewpoint since not all would really be that able to feel such condition which it is really impossible for you not to be happy and contented if you do
saw that you are pretty doing well specially on trading and investing. Being not contented is really just a matter of each everyones perspective.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 01, 2023, 11:28:37 PM

Let's not think about that and just hope instead that this fight will push through without using of any influence that will make the fight unfair because of some favors. Inoue already got the homecourt advantage here and his camp, and even the entire nation of Japan is confident and rooting for the boxer to win. Besides, Inoue doesn't need any favor because he will always get the job done as I reckon, he's not planning in staying long in this weight class.

I definitely agree with you about that, while it's undoubtedly given that Naoya Inoue got the homecourt advantage here because the fight will happen at his country. I'm still positive the Inoue doesn't need that advantage or favor from his countrymen as I know that he got this handled and I can't think that Fulton will be able to give him that first defeat. Anyway, if I'm right, this bout will happen in Saitama again where his recent fights happened.

With Inoue's skill and power he doesn't need a homecourt advantage even the added weight is not a disadvantage for Inoue, he just added a few pounds it's still in his range, Inoue's camp has a lot of supporters and their promoters can give what the other camps want for the fight to be held in Japan, they want to satisfy their boxing community, I don't think Fulton can stop Inoue's train he's not the man to stop Inoue's train, he will soon have the super Bantamweight belt on his waist.
For Inoue's fans then this is where they do hope on which he would really be getting all the belts on said upper weight division since he would be still needing to beat up
Stephen Fulton and Murodjon Akhmadaliev to be once again to be undisputed on Junior featherweight (122 lbs.) division on which he's trying to play or fight around.
Or maybe he would be getting those belts and would be moving up on Featherweight that fast or would be still clearing and getting those belts in line.  Cheesy
1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 12,000 in 2023. on: February 01, 2023, 09:15:57 PM
Bitcoin has almost hit 24,000$ in the end of January, what could have been its best January performance since 2013, at least. Instead, we saw a correction back to 22,000$ price range, although right now bitcoin is already recovering again, back to the 23,500$'s, in this February month which started with an intense positive fluctuation.

Now the expectation is that bitcoin hit 24,000$ sooner or later, consequently maintaining the positive trend which has started in January and continued during the whole month. I don't see signals which could indicate bitcoin is going to drop for now. The market is looking better and better each new day on this new year of 2023.
We are almost on 24k as of this moment and we do have that sudden increase of price on last few hours which does indicate that we might be able to hit up 25k soon if ever this price movement or behavior wont really be changing up.I dont know but why there are lots of people who had been expecting for the price to hit up 12k which i dont see for this possibility but if there are some negative news that would impact out on the market then it would really be that possible but who knows? There's no way that we could really be able to predict on what would happen for this year 2023 whether we would be able to see some recovery or would really
be that able to see these low prices considering that lots of people had been anticipating for this point.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 01, 2023, 08:17:22 PM
AI is still relying on the data that you been feeding on them. so yes, you can't expect precise or exact prediction because there are too many factors involve and AI can only process what they have. so when the sports is actually happening, AI doesn't know what will be the next move of the athlete, thus, won't know the final outcome of the game.

Yeah, totally agree with you there! AI is only as good as the data it's fed. So if there's any bias or inaccuracies in the training data, it's gonna show up in the AI's predictions. And let's not forget that AI can only think about the factors it's been programmed to consider, so there could be other important variables affecting the prediction that the AI doesn't even know about. But despite these limitations, I still think AI and machine learning are super cool for analyzing huge amounts of data and coming up with conclusions. As for using AI to predict sports results, I'm not so sure. We'll just have to wait and see!

Of course there would be always those limitation and one of those is on predicting on future events which is to come and we do know that there are lots of factors and things which we do need to consider about before

taking any step further specially on the betting side of things. Its never been that recommendable or suggestable that you should really relying on what an AI been recommending which is true that it is really been fed
up by information and would be stored into its library which we cant even be sure whether those things been answered would be that accurate or not.

Also, it is always better not to rely on something or anyone when it  comes into your betting selections.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So far so good with Bitcoin adoption on my side but I have question on: February 01, 2023, 07:22:58 PM
I wish there is a way that I can show families on here how successful I have bring numbers of people into Bitcoin between 2021 - 2023, it's been so great and I am very happy about it, I have fresh newbies at hand right now,  two of them are from the same university 🎓, I have spent 6 weeks with them teaching and answering questions about Bitcoin and wallets, now they decide to purchase their first set of Bitcoin.

Here is where I am confused, the present value of Bitcoin is growing, some said it's because of the Chinese New year Holiday aka Year of the Rabbit, since I got mine at 17,000 and 15,000 I feel it's wrong to tell these newbies to buy at 23,000$

Have I done the right thing by telling them to wait for some correction before buying or you famz have a better idea? Because right now I don't see anything thing better than to wait, double bottom is always possible with Bitcoin in bear markets.
Just tell them about the basics and its up to them whether they would be buying on 23k price point or not, considering that we arent that the same when it comes to perspective whether we do buy for long term hold or

we do buy on short term ones. You do tell your friends about that option and its up to them on making up the decision. The right thing on here is that you shouldn't really make out some assurance that they could make money or earning money is too easy into this market because this is where people do usually believe into their minds.

On the time that they do experience out some losses or negative into their investment, then they would really be blaming out into that person who had introduced it to them which is YOU.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: February 01, 2023, 07:19:25 PM
Another thing about this idea:
Using a native token exclusively could make the casino to highly depend on the speculative market to handle their bankroll.

In short, if they token is having a good month in the market, then in theory the casino is having a good month, it also works in an inverse way. More than a casino chip, the token would behave like a share of the casino itself.

Even if the casino decided to keep some reserves in USDT, those are likely to be obtained by selling the native token itself, which could discourage people from buying in fear of a big sell by the casino (which is a whale as I previously stated).

It is better just to stick to Bitcoin and popular alcoins which people are happy to use already.
This idea is really too risky. If the casino isn't able to maintain a stable routine of gamblers on their platform they are going to suffer with severe volatility, what will definitely discourage gamblers from playing there or from holding their native token for long periods of time.

Casinos' projects which developed native tokens and promoted it as a good investment for holders have already failed before, if I remember correctly it happened with a titan casino from the early years of crypto called BetKing.

On the other hand, if the developer has a very creative idea of a gambling game, which can become popular in an unique way, I still think the idea of launching a native token can be successful.
Volatility of such native token isnt something that cant be avoided neither if there would be lots of players who had been acquiring and holding it and also depends if the certain token being listed on various exchange which lots of factors could really affect out on that tokens value. We know that people would really be that conservative when it comes to that because if they do find out that it wont really be worth it on holding
or acquiring it then it wont really be getting that much attention.Im aware on several coins like CSNO and on that Betking too which it did really give out those negative results i must say.
Lots of investors or supporters of those tokens had suffered huge loss.
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 31, 2023, 10:26:37 PM
Well, luck will always have its role to play in our lives but never disregard effort. Why? Everyone can insert effort to anything they are doing but not all people would be lucky. So atleast, put dome effort until luck goes on your way becaude if you will just wait for luck to come into your life, it would mean nothing if you have not started anything. Let us all be not reliant of our fate 'coz there'll be times we are the ones who'd decide for our future and not luck alone. Athletes won't achieve titles if they are just lucky because they've worked hard more than how luck took place on their career. And same thing goes with everyone's success.
Yes, but not into the point that you are relying on luck or having no balance in between hard work and luck because we dont know on when it would hit us and this is why its better to have that mindset on doing your

best or hardwork+effort on whatever things that you are currently dealing with.Luck factor could only be determine on the time you are seeing that it is really that getting recognition or attention or simply with the demand.Yes, its true that it might give out some significance for whatever that we are dealing with.

Put that effort and dedication and see for yourself on what would be the results of it.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 31, 2023, 10:22:33 PM
It doesn't always work. They can send you several promos to the mail so that you will surely play at least 1 time, but the bonus will somehow be associated with the first deposit.Beginners are not very often given free to play or place a bet.The service must make sure that you have money in order to understand whether it is worth spending time on you or not.
If its free spins then it might get that attention on which its totally free but on the wagering requirement then this is something that could make you lose interest but its common that they would be making those requirements because they are running a business and not something a charity that gives money for free. For those people who had just made out some registration and forgot that they had done it
and the casino sending out those promotional offers and bonuses then its whether a gambler would really be that getting interested or not on such offer. If they had quit up or lost interest on playing on a site
then they would just simply ignore it out but if it does poke up their interest then they would really be playing right away.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 31, 2023, 09:16:04 PM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
Success or failure is something that cant really be determined on which we dont know on what would be the outcome whether it would really be recognized or what.We do know that Bitcoin is the main coin on which

crypto people would really be preferring for them to play on and for them to accumulate on which we do know that it does have value. For the time that we do gamble then we do prefer on using Bitcoin and other top altcoins and not some sort or gambling platform token which isnt really able to touch up on exchangers or being traded or simply does have a value.

They wont really be that interested on something which doesnt really have any value.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 29, 2023, 08:16:59 PM
A gambler is a gambler, either be it online or offline,if he does not discipline himself and control his gambling activities, he will become an addict. Though, for those gamblers that has access to both,I agree with you that they will get more addicted easily because you can gamble at your own time and at anywhere you find yourself.

One thing I know for sure is that people that becomes addict are been carried away by the fun of the game or they are one way or the other trying to chase their lost.
You are right on which it doesnt matter on what are the things that it is in front of him,if he's really that tending to make out some gambling act then he would definitely do it.Although there is indeed some points that

having more accessibility or much easier path for you to gamble is really contributing into that kind of molding of your addiction. It do always falls down on someones perceptive and thinking on how they would really

be handling out themselves in speaking about gambling whether they would really be having that in control or would really be just having that impulsive approach.
Each person does have their own will whether they are already doing it too much or not.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 29, 2023, 07:29:08 PM
<...>
Imagine yourself as a new gambler who just joined a casino, played a few dollars and with luck on your side, you win money running into thousands of dollars, will withdrawing your money plus winnings from that casino, never to return there to play again, mean you have beaten that casino?

Secondly, imagine that on your first day of gambling, you gambled $200 and in the process, won money running into hundreds of thousands of dollars, you withdraw the money and start up your own business, and never returned to gambling again, isn't this one way to beat the house?

You have a lot of confusion here. When we say that you can't beat the house, we are talking about the long term, and the two examples you give are short term. So no, you can't beat the house, and it doesn't care if you get lucky on the first play, cash out and don't come back because its business model is based on a lot of people betting, on big numbers, and not on what a player does on an individual play.

+ in a short time basis when it comes to session on the time you do play on which it cant be considered on beating up the house. The thing on where is that you had just quit up immediately after you do make some big

hits which you are the ones who would really be able to say that you had beaten up the house. Its true but not on general sense or point that you had able to do so.It is really just you had made out the right decision

on stopping and putting those profits in good use and never intend to go  further because it would really just mess up entirely once you do decide on making yourself
gamble up and asking for more and this is where gambler do most fall.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Medical student wins lottery 5 times after embezzling graduation funds on: January 28, 2023, 11:24:00 PM
Wow, that's a really dire circumstance. I'm delighted the police are looking into the situation, and I hope justice will be done. It's important to keep in mind that stealing from others—especially your classmates—is both wrong and unlawful. I'm hoping that the impacted students will be able to recoup the money that was deducted from them. In order to prevent being a victim of fraud, it's also critical to exercise caution while investing and to constantly do your own research. It's awful to learn that the lady may have been defrauded, but stealing from others to make up for it is wrong.
Whom would really expect out?

Collection or accumulation of funds was really that intended for educational purposes or simply with those graduation which is really that important.Whom had really thought?
Why these funds arent been entrusted on the faculty or teachers itself considering that it is a huge funds?

They are really that too much in loose on making it handled by some student.I dont have any trust issues but when it comes to money and we dont know on how
a certain person would react out on the time they had handling huge funds then it would really be an another story.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 28, 2023, 10:30:51 PM
Hi gamblers, it's a simple question I want to ask...

Remember it is said that, in gambling, the house always wins, I Want us to look at this two scenarios and tell if this are not actually a way to win/beat the house..

This isnt beating the house just because you had just made out some profits on those sessions which it cant be called on beating up the house because its an another story because thats not how it works.
If you do see it up that way then so be it but its not beating up the house. You are just wise that you do made out some hit and run kind of step which you do ensure out your profits which is a wise
move and the best thing is that you do able to make out some investment or made out some business with those wins and never returned your back yourself in the house.
Beating up the house is impossible but on this way then at least you do make out a right choice.
1374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or Investing in the stock market on: January 28, 2023, 06:58:34 PM
I will say this - here it is better to build on the experience and skills of work.
This should be the first goal of OP before asking any question on whatsoever he/she wants because it depends on what skills or market OP would like to be trading. Experience will tell everything on what you are good plus knowing all the risk that you know you can handle on your own that would make a great achievement.

Trading isn't just an easy thing that you can ask someone here but if you just want some ideas then most of the answers OP will get will be "learn how to trade properly first while knowing how to minimize the risk of losing" that is inevitable to happen to every traders.
Asking wont really be a bad thing on which you are the ones who would really be able to know on what are the things that you would really be able to realize along the way. This isnt something that you could ask out

someones ideas and personal experiences to give you out some hint or preview on what it would looks like but honestly, you are the ones who would really be able to discover on what are the things that would really fit
out into you because not all people does have the same tolerance when it comes to these kind of things which is something you are the ones who would really be needing to discover.
Investing choice would depend or matter into you because its your money so its your own full decision on whatever it would be.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 27, 2023, 11:13:28 PM
This isn't new. This "sport" or as it is called in some places "extreme sport" has been running for many years in Russia and Eastern Europe. There's also a number of leagues with one being called SFC (slap fighting championship) and they have a women's division too.
Draft Kings, which is an online betting site that was supposed to start accepting bitcoin last year, but probably postponed this due to bear market, allows you to bet on slap contests.
It's actually fun to watch, especially when there's a large weight and size difference between contestants.
Is there no separation or weight divisions just like on boxing in between fighters or slappers?  Cheesy We know that mass or weight of a certain person does really affect on how hard they would be able to hit up a certain
fighter or into that opposite person.
If there's so much weight difference and physique then we could really say that they would really be having that upperhand since we know on how would really be that relevant if we do speak about
weight.
So far ive been seeing this sport on social media on slapping up their faces until they do go down. Its sad that they are just accepting only a few of paycheck while the organizers
made ton.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: Your way of living the wage what you need to live normal life on: January 27, 2023, 11:08:45 PM
Now I'm 27 years old and I'm planning to get married this year or at most next year, I'm happy because I can work and also pay for 2 people to be a waitress at the fruit shop that I've managed since 3 years, I've prepared a lot of things like saving for receptions and of course preparing funds after marriage, the family of the future wife wants a lively party and of course it takes a lot of money, I hope not to sell assets or go into debt and have a simple party.
Be practical which this would be always the key.You dont have to make a luxury preparations when it comes to marriage receptions or whatever as a whole because what matter most here that you both would be get
married legally.Well, if you are really that preparing for a bit then it isnt bad but dont go beyond the lines on where you are spending that much. There would always comes to a point on which we do all get married
on where you do need up some preparations not only for that point but also into the future on which your wife wont really be having a hard life with you. Live by your means and not on your wants
which it would be the key for having a good financial condition.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 26, 2023, 11:30:50 PM
I think there's no title that will be defended by Spence on their upcoming fight, right? Please feel freely to correct me if ever I'm wrong because to be honest, I'm really confused by their mandatory fight as their fight has been mandated to be fought at 154 lbs. where Spence has no belts. In addition, I'm under the impression that Thurman have no choice to agree because his time will be wasted if he won't be having any fight this time as his original mission is to chase some belts.

Since the fight is agreed on the higher weight Division, and not on the title's division, so yes there is no title defense which in contrast to the order released of the governing body of title defense.  I am still in confusion why does the fight like this happen in the higher division and why does the  boxing council accept this kind of arrangement when they are the one that ordered for that fight to happen.  Is boxing turning into a circus now? Where there is no rulings anymore and the boxer is freely able to decide the category to fight?

Since many are confused too about how this fight turned out, no choice but to wait for the result.

I'm thinking what will be the situation here if Thurman will upset Spence at 154 lbs.

I don't want the fight to happen but now, I want to see right away the possible aftermath of this fight regardless of who's the winner.

Well, to be honest, I just wanted that Thurman will indeed upset Spence even if there's no risk for the latter as there's no belt on the line. I just want them to have their first defeat, so that they will know and reflect on themselves that they are taking things too far and making an unjust situation for the other boxers.

Hehehe, maybe some of us here wanted to see Thurman pull the biggest upset in 147 or 154 lbs and beat Spence hard.

But you have to think at where Thurman is right now, lost to Manny, had several injuries, didn't show good against a overblown 140 lbs fighter in Barrios and has a weakness, body punch. So it's tough for him to upset, but we will give him that chance though.

Who knows, maybe he will just wake up and suddenly become the Thurman at his prime and give on hell of a fight.
Trying out to look into his last fight which is against Barrios on last year ends up on Unanimous decision but not all would really be that amazed on what he had done there. Its been a while before he gets back into the ring after that Pacquiao fight in year 2019 which do ends up on split decision but its obvious on whose the winner of that and a bit mix of hamulating on that particular fight,
and now he's fighting Spence? I dont see any chance for him to win just like the rest but we know that upsets could happen whether they do make out some good preparations
or could pull off some lucky hard punch.  Cheesy
1378  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 26, 2023, 10:20:45 PM
at least according to the votes with Zero comes to Bitcoin will make another ATH this 2023 means people here understand the market and not that too optimistic or desperate to expect such high though possibilities are always there but we must admit that we are far from that.
and I also believe that we are waiting for recovery as the Bear is already gone and the market will start showing good movement away from 2022.
Many are too optimistic and forget to predict a more realistic price, new ATH this year might not possible I think not unless Bitcoin made an exceptional pump and good news will come in the market. We should also consider the economic status of big countries which can affect the crypto market, there’s a big threat of recession and that could be one of the reason again for Bitcoin to stay in bear market. Bitcoin have to established a strong support to avoid another big drop for this year.

But we can never be sure as we are only in the first month of this year.
New ATH can hit anytime this year, but I do agree, we need to be realistic with the performance of the market.
If we will receive good news one after another, we will see positive trend but to what extent, hard to predict.
But maybe this year, will be better than last year. If big companies will provide positive news, the trust may return for some users.
Im not really that making myself that confident when it comes to some positive run specially if it do happens in the starting months of the year where it is  really that hard to make yourself that conclusive in the rest of the months of a particular year on which you cant really make yourself that assured for the rest of the year would really be looking the same and this is why its not really that something ideal or fixed.
You should adapt on whatever things that might happen ahead and this is where an investor or trader should really be having in mind. Expect the unexpected as always which this market is always been
like this and like that. You cant make out conclusive decisions on where it would be ending up.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 26, 2023, 10:16:32 PM
^^ True, but if Donaire can still fight at this point, the only roadblocks for him is Inoue. All other champions and ranked fighter in 118 lbs? he beat them. So I would say that he has that mold and breed of probably Manny Pacquiao for longevity and skills.

I do agree that there are ability that you can lose as you age, but then again, Donaire uses more of his IQ, the way he set up his opponent. He is setting them up for his huge left hook that's why he still can knock people out with that one punch.
He has the speed
He has the good technical skills
He had a footwork

But all of these things are decreasing in efficiency as he do gets older. Its true that we've seen on what he lacks when he face up Inoue but doesnt mean that he wouldn't
really make some good fight. He do withstood for long rounds on where other people been speculating that it would be a TKO on few rounds which it didnt happen.
Lets talk about into his upcoming fight which i could say it would be a similar or in near with Inoue type of fighter but not really that powerful.
1380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 26, 2023, 09:32:01 PM
Over the time, I've seen people wanting to go into trading because they feel or think is a get rich quick scheme but get so disappointed along the process because the result they get isn't what was expected.
Trading is a very lucrative business but also a very risky business as well and as such should be done with so much caution.
What would be your advice for those wanting to trade as a newbie?
Trading is risky and it is similar to gambling. As I believe they have the same features. It is a "game" of probabilities. Trading is basically looking for trades that gives you the probability of making a good profit that is significantly more than the more the trader is risking. The thing every trader must do is to have a certain level where if it doesn't work out they exit the trade so that they can live to trade another day. It is about knowing which risks is worth taking.
We do know on whats their differences when it comes to odds and chances of winning or being profitable because one of them could really be able to something to be applied with some strategy and analysis and the other

isnt something that could really be affected out by some strats or whatsoever. This is why for those who do wants to trade up then they should really be that mindful about on having that no gambler like mind.
