It's not different in principle, but it's very very different in fact: a 1.9% house edge is pretty much the lowest in the market.
Absolutely rubbish! Roulete has -2.7% EV, blackjack -0.28% EV, video poker (jacks and better) -0.46% EV. Even casino craps have about ~1.5 edge. But otherwise, your asinine attitude likely motivated by your own personal failure is duly noted, well done with whatever peerbet thing. The bad news being that it's getting killed this month, btw.
It it just existing popularity of the S.Dice slows down entering on the market potentially better games. But nobody guarantees popularity forever! huh? Casino roulette has higher than -2.7% i think

Ben Bernanke creates about 50B per month, out of thin air. That's how.
Coincidentally, that's about the same as US's trade deficit, per month.

The biggest scammer is no doubt "pirateat40" with his BTCST investment scam. He made off with about 500k BTC (though much of it were unrealistic due payments, realistically he made off with about 150k-200k in profit).

21 million bitcoins is way too low for a whole world economy to use That would be true if there were only 21 million bitcoins, but that's not the actual limit. There will be 21000000.00000000 bitcoins. That's plenty for a world economy. Most of those decimal numbers can't be used, they worth almost nothing, if they worth something more than a penny, then it's a problem: we will pay more than pennys for every transaction. Conclusion: stills small for a whole world economy. Transaction fee can be easily changed, I can send a transaction right now with 0 fee anyway. In fact there are already discussions to modify the minimum transaction fee.

All right thanks. IF you're that ahead, id stop.. I lost 150 BTC playing S.73 and S.48
Trust me, after seeing the guy who lost 18 consecutive 250 BTC bets at or near the 50% odds, I am beginning to realize I lucky I have been. Yeah I watch that happen, it was so unbelievable, so many 250BTC bets, all lost. I thought eric was testing his website or something with fake bets. PS: post #1000 in this thread, woot!

I'm not sure if there's a demand for this service, since bank billpay is pretty easy and free.
There is plenty of demand. If I have bitcoins and need to pay my gas/water/electric/whatever bill, then I either need a BTC billpay service, or I need to convert BTC to fiat, get that into my bank, then use the bank bill pay. I would much rather pay 1.5% for someone to accept BTC and pay my bill rather than either take a lot of time to get money in my bank, or pay 1.5% and have to do a bit of leg work to get BTC into cash, then that cash deposited. You are assuming that the guy has his entire liquid asset in Bitcoins and not much money in the bank. I can certainly see a few people doing this, but I don't think most people here has their entire liquid asset in Bitcoins.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Craigslist's site style is 1995, yet it's one of the most popular site on the Internet.

So, just bought my first bitcoins today. I was in a bit of a hurry to get them, and short on cash, so I didn't want to pay for or wait on a wire transfer. I found https://www.bitcopia.com/. I was a bit hesitant, due to the lack of reviews and feedback, but I figured it was worth a try. It's entirely anonymous, cash-only transactions. I needed 25btc, so I bought just a couple first. Transaction went smooth, had my btc before I got home from the bank. Second transaction was for the remainder of what I needed, and the block chain shows 2 confirmations of the transaction so far. I'd say it looks legit. I can see where people might be put off by the anonymous cash deposit only nature of the site, but so far, so good. And, while I haven't seen a lot of testimonials, I haven't seen any negative reviews, either. Might be one for the list. I have reviewed the site and does not find it to be up to the quality standard of a reputable exchange. Though I will continue to monitor and will include it once it has improved in terms of quality/popularity.

The victims has already been told by the bank to NOT give their pin the ANYONE. If the victim still give away their PIN, it's their own fault.

I think the spammers are bots that look for mediawiki installations anywhere, and just asking them 2+2=4 might be enough to stop them...they'll just move on and find another wiki.
Nope, captcha is nowadays pretty useless against determined spammers. There are captcha solving services that will solve 1000 captcha for you for $1. These services all integrate easily with spam bot.

I present to you a new Bitcoin "Big List" style site. The Big List of BitcoinThis site will be a great resource for new users starting out in Bitcoin to find reputable and trustworthy sites to use. The site will be constantly updated, by me. This will be my long term project, it will stay up indefinitely. Nice idea, but what criteria and who chooses? It will be solely determined by me, with my infinite knowledge and wisdom. Though I welcome any submission of sites for consideration and inclusion (I recommend using the submission form on the site so I know you are not spamming me)

The site will be constantly updated, by me. This will be my long term project, it will stay up indefinitely. Mt. Gox was hacked several times. Bitfloor was hacked and lost everything. MemoryDealers and Bitchain.info were implicated in the latest privacy breach issue. Virwox, BTC-E, bitcoin.de and bitcoin-24 have been mentioned in threads of the "company" not doing their job several times. Cryptostocks is a unregistered stock exchange destined to go the way of GLBSE real soon now. Yes, but Mt.Gox and Bitfloor has stood behind their site and never made their customer lose money (some mtgox hacks were the fault of the customer losing their password, not mtgox's fault). They have learned from their mistake and made their site more secure, which is good. Simply being complained against does make them not reputable. Even the most reputable companies has had complaints filed against them numerous times. Cryptostocks will be gone or not, I can't predict. As of right now, it seems to be in good standing and growing popularity.

Awesome initiative! New users will be happy to find a list of great services in one place. The Leader's Shirt has been submitted! The E-commerce category now groups shops (Coinabul, etc.) and shopping solutions (BitPay, etc.). Any plan to expand those two categories in a near future? Cheers! Yeah that's probably a good idea to separate them, I will do so soon. I will probably separate e-commerce section into a lot of subsections in the future, once I obtain a good collection of sites. and thanks for being my site's first on site submitter, your site looks good and I have included it under the e-commerce section.
