1581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isnt there a BTC browser wallet like Metamask on: September 14, 2022, 08:41:39 AM
I thought you were talking about brave browsers or something. Like I thought that that's not the use case of BTC. Bitcoin was made for purely peer-to-peer transactions without a middleman. Not be mined by watching ads to get a sure reward. It's an excellent idea but probably not going to be possible. This was just a thought

But in essence, I think it would be hard, and it can be compromised. Maybe a hot wallet of some sort.
1582  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 13, 2022, 11:18:02 PM
The basic idea is that you would have to end up with a situation where you are spending money on something you did not calculated into your finances. Nations and governments have their own finances and that means we are going to end up with a bit of a trouble if we don't have the money for it.
Whether or not the body is still going to go through that and with everything costing money, it doesn't matter, the economy is going to be affected because to recover, you need to spend some money.

Floods or earthquakes or most other things are hard to calculate, usually can't be calculated so they come out of nowhere and even if there is a fund left for emergencies, you do not know how much it will cost, not the life cost calculated as well because people die on these stuff as well. Hence, it is really impacting the economy a lot worse than people expect, because it is such an unexpected thing.
What do you mean you do not know how much it will cost? I think you have a chance to calculate it after everything that has happened. There's going to be a finite amount. And of course, those affected would have a harder time in life then wouldn't be solved with money. So it's even more complicated.

Floods are very localized, which means that one area can be severely affected while an area just a few miles away is fine, the natural disasters that have the most destructive potential are solar flares and volcanic eruptions, solar flares can affect and destroy our technology and if we ever received a huge one we could be sent to the eighteenth century in a matter of days, volcanic eruptions can be incredibly damaging as well with all the material they release to the air as it can block some of the sunlight and reduce the temperature of the whole world by several degrees and affect our food supply for years or even decades.
That's going to be a different world if that happens. Communication would be slower and the part where people could easily go anywhere would have experienced problems. Those who have worked up not being able to depend too much on technology can probably have survived that. For the temperature of the world, increasing more and more would be brutal. Even the smallest amount would lead to a more disaster zone, IMO.
1583  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crex24 out of business?? on: September 13, 2022, 11:00:34 PM
It's the same as you. I can't access the site here; it shows that the site is unavailable to see and asks to email the crex24 support; customer support: support@crex24.com.

It would be hard to recover anything at that rate; they are not letting users log in. Since I read that some users cannot have access since May, I hope they have contacted users with that and managed to get all their assets out of there.
1584  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 13, 2022, 11:19:11 AM
I know that some economists who have studied disasters may not be just flooding, but other earthly effects that destroy parts of the planet have an impact on the economy that you might not have thought about.

If you think about it, governments always have emergency funds whenever that occurs, so when that time comes, they probably overestimate the losses. The difference between the actual would probably go to their pockets. This is for the corrupted government, so that would depend on where you are, but I think that's one way that you could say that it affects the economy since we are talking about lots of money when the nation is involved.

I think floods are less expensive than other natural disasters like hurricanes or earthquakes. Depends on intensity as well, probably.
1585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Binance giving more Apr in fixable staking (saving) than locked staking? on: September 13, 2022, 08:43:52 AM
I think the APR is exact, and they probably have a lot of calculations just to ensure that they will earn with what they currently have. It will be a lower risk, but the reward is probably lower. I think that's the problem with long-term holdings because it's going to be dependent on what the market is; it's going to be hard to assess anymore with what you will do with your investment. Be careful with that.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 13, 2022, 02:38:34 AM
Based on the old reason why it was created, and there is a Luna 2.0, it's hard to believe what they will do anymore. It's going to be very hard to become invested in it, and it's never going to recover to its former price because of what happened unless everything is redeemed to those affected. We will see.

This "Tax Burn" thing that they have initialized is just a countermeasure that is for the short-term right now. Let's see how it will react in the long run. The amount of money lost and involved in that issue was too much, and this burning mechanism can't hold it for sure.

It's the cause of the crypto crisis this year.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is web3 scam? on: September 12, 2022, 06:07:45 PM
Why would you even think that web3 is a scam? Were you a victim from before, OP? The people using it scam people, not the technology itself.

Anyway, comparing web3 to a blockchain is weird because it gives somewhat the same things, right? For example, using web3 has something to do with blockchains, and it has the same concept as being a peer-to-peer type because it's still connected to the network of computers in the world.

It's another way to monetize stuff and ensure you will get the real things with all the applications and NFT worldwide. The impact on the other is another story, IMO.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Popular Themes for Online Slot on: September 12, 2022, 04:35:22 PM
You know, I like the theme where I always win. Lol. Kidding aside. I like the flashy stuff and making it even more enjoyable with all the spins and free spins in the game. I would love that. The striking thing that I remember is the one with the band Metallica. It was pretty hard to win, but I just pushed through and won in the end. But of course, we all know that once we continue gambling, it will be lost throughout the future.
1589  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. life expectancy drops sharply, the second consecutive decline on: September 12, 2022, 04:27:02 PM
This is considered a collective average, right? That this isn't for a single individual that will make it to a high age or not. It's about when a particular individual is predicted to die of young or old age, correct? I think that's the life expectancy means.

Anyway, this is another excellent source.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/nchs_press_releases/2022/20220831.htm

It includes race and what the expected rates are in the corresponding years.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way of contacting steamers who do live stream their gamble? on: September 12, 2022, 12:55:34 PM
Wouldn't they have their postings on how to contact them? Usually, the easiest, IMO, to have that kind of communication with a social media influencer is through their social media accounts. I think that's the best way to do it. Some people also leave their business email in their profile if they want to contact them. I think that's one of the easiest and most proven ways to do it.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 10, 2022, 10:18:08 AM
What is your current situation now? I think the hype has gone down. It's currently -18.78% at the moment of posting.

Did you manage to get more out of your free money? You are lucky to have gotten that and won $10 worth of BTC. Since you already know that you shouldn't trust again, do what you think you must do. Don't wait for somebody else to validate it for you or something. It's only you who is going to decide.
1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all crypto gambling charges expensive when it comes to USDT? on: September 09, 2022, 03:41:10 PM
Do you know how much expensive the ERC-20 gas fees are, correct? Having that amount for their withdrawal is not surprising, but it's funny because it has exceeded the minimum withdrawal amount. It is wrong to withdraw in that situation unless you have a high amount prepared to be withdrawn.

It just goes to show how important the merge that there is because it's going to be solving the problems that users and developers are facing; the fees are not fit for what ETH can be, and hopefully, that upgrade would solve it and make it even more usable for everyone and is intended for its purpose.
1593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did ChipMixer made hundreds of mllion of dollars? on: September 09, 2022, 10:14:49 AM
Do you know that you made the thread look like a troll or is it just a bash topic because of the "CheapMixer" that you included on your first post? Before you edited it? That's why a lot of the members treat you that way and are not serious about the topic.

1595  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 09, 2022, 07:09:08 AM
With everything that is happening in our lives, it's always going to be about trying to convince each other that this is the kind of success that we all want. But it's different for every person and the upbringing of people.

There's also a factor that you can be successful at a particular time, like graduation. You are victorious and fulfilled at that time, but it's not always going to be forever, that feeling of "success" you feel when graduating. It is a part of you already, and it will be on to the following reason to fill your "success feelings."

We can talk more about how people tend to get a rejection, like how you will handle it and process the following. Many people say a lot of their failures before their success, and that's going to be a part of you as well. What you are going to do with it is going to be how your attitude will be
1596  Other / Archival / Re: "If you don't understand where the yield is coming from, you are the yield." on: September 07, 2022, 03:37:14 AM
I like how he experimented on this because having that kind of following could easily print money. I remember listening to a podcast in which he said that he needed money to pay for taxes with his business that he hadn't paid yet or else he would get jailed, so he bet on his friend that he could get money for a couple of hours only, with just an email blast. Then he did, and already the money started pouring in.

It's that kind of influence that someone has and could be taken advantage of. Imagine that power with someone sinister. That's really going to be sad and devastating to the community, especially to everyone who has been a victim.
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crash money supply is not under ur control choose new money on: September 06, 2022, 11:20:33 AM
Also we should have crypto central bank who will set the fiat currency like usd ratio with crypto before the fiat will be abonded if everybody start set ratios locally then it might not work not so well.
Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of cryptocurrencies in which you are going to be utilizing decentralized applications instead of being centralized? That would be the form of the new generation which wouldn't have complete control over anything. There are pros and cons between centralization and decentralized but that's just the reality and that should be the fact in which you are going to choose one.

Maybe it's best that you would go to get both in such a way you could protect yourself from both risks.
1598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: September 06, 2022, 03:56:32 AM
For those who are interested in the ongoing backlash with what's happened in the recent GP, Nico Rosberg has commented on Ferrari saying

"Oh my goodness," he said about the Ferrari pitstops. "Mattia Binotto keeps saying 'No, no, we don't need to make any changes, everything is going well'. When is the day coming?

"It's not possible – even Formula 2 teams or F3 teams do a better job at their strategy and pitstops than Ferrari.

"You go to the pits and there's no tyre there in a normal race? At some point they really need to start making some changes."
That's gotta be quite a punch to the face being on television and just being criticized for what happened. I like how Binotto is really taking care and being responsible for what's happening with the current

and the ferrari team.... no words.
Look at what Binotto said

"First, I think it is so easy to speak when you are outside [of the paddock]. It is easy to criticise," he said.

"But we will not change people: that is my answer to Rosberg. We have got great people and it has been proven that what is more important in sport is stability and that we make sure we are improving day-by-day and race-by-race.

"We have got great people in the team and I have no doubt on that. It takes years and experience for all teams to be at the front, and I think there is no reason why it should be different for ourselves."
I'm not sure but I just admire how he is handling the situation they really need to do some changes with that situation knowing that they are the top contenders when it comes to the current season. If they want to be more competitive, they need to do something.
1599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 06, 2022, 02:25:16 AM
Everything you have mentioned in your thread, OP, can easily be fixed with a trading bot like Gunbot. [I am affiliated with them, and if you do plan to check it out and have questions, don't hesitate to PM me; I'll help you]

It could easily calculate and scalp for you, depending on your chosen strategy, and will ensure that you have profit in your trading.

As long as you are using BNB and use Limit trades, you could save fees. They are just probably offering this to have more volume in their exchange. I don't know what else could be behind it.
1600  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Investigation] Fighting The Account Mafia on: September 05, 2022, 02:25:14 PM
Anybody got a message from the account roslinpl as well? Those who have tagged him? I got a message saying that he wants my feedback to be removed.

Definitely not gonna trust this account anymore with the sudden changes in behavior on the postings. After 2 years of inactivity, posts right away in a signature campaign thread.

Is there anybody else that gotten the message as well?
