161  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin volatility prevent adoption? on: April 27, 2018, 06:20:45 PM
Yes bitcoin's volatility prevents mass adoptions woldwide. Lets take this situation, a company X gives salary to the employees in bitcoin and suddenly the price of bitcoin increases and after few days it decreases again. It will be a huge loss for the company and what is the reason? Volatility.

In my opinion, bitcoin can be adopted but not a mass adoption because volatility is preventing it.
What you said is so true. Bitcoin can not be usable in other transactions like for instance as you stated. Therefore its volatility prevents mass adoption. There are some advantages and disadvantages as to bitcoin's characteristics.

The volatility made people think that bitcoin is not worthy to invest with since it can cause a massive loss to them. But if people try to reach some knowledge and let theirselves learn on how to defy and earn with volatility then maybe a great adoption will came but for now massive adoption will just a myth since for new guys hard to find bitcoins are legit one for their investment.
Bitcoin as a currency , Bitcoin as a digital asset , Bitcoin as a financial breakthrough etc , it's never enough for those people who looking for something simple , not a complex one like Bitcoin. We need a lot of time indeed to eliminate traditional thinker like that and start the real Bitcoin adoption for the better future. I still optimistic that time would come. Where volatile won't be a big deal anymore.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: April 27, 2018, 03:39:07 PM
IOST goes up so fast, i think iost has a very good potential and if it continues like that, it's not impossible iost can touch $ 1 quickly. One of the coins that can be invented today and sell it in a few years. Of course I participating in their signature campaign , feel proud spreading words around here to help the project run smoothly and success , not just about value , but also future purpose of this token.
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: start trading on: April 27, 2018, 05:37:58 AM
Indeed bittrex and binance are well-known as safe exchanges so far, nothing is impossible if you trade on crypto. The high fluctuations make it possible to get a profit. Binance had experience deal with a hacking attempt include phishing , luckily binance did not lose anything, it's just the matter of third party tools. And now binance has improved their security ( it's a must , that's the standard when you almost got hacked) so you do not have to worry about it anymore.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Сontinued growth or dramatic fall on: April 26, 2018, 01:24:31 PM
Well what's your guess with regard to the further market's pulse?
That would be a fall? What relative indicators can you see? Nothing. Possible negative news in mass media, no.. people are taught by the previous news fakes like limitations in India..
It would more likely be a growth chain reaction in spite of a little market correction or a big sales..
Anyway what's your opinion?
It might some fall, but eventually it is going to be bullrun again, nothing to worry about everything would be okay as long as bitcoin is in bullish trend, never let anyone destruct your goals. If you heard some negative news in the market probably you are going see another bearish trend after the bulls got tired.
You know that a decline are a sign of healthy market , if there's no correction for long time it could be considered as a bubble , just look at few months ago where Bitcoin price keep growing up to $20k unstoppable , now what? We are struggling to even approach $13k.
The charts says it still bullish , but let's see the drop pattern in few weeks , it could changed to bearish anytime. So far it's remain in bull rally.
165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Be Scared Of Hackers If I Have Lot of BTC. on: April 26, 2018, 12:27:53 PM
I feel like it's worth worrying about if you keep your bitcoins on hot wallets. If we are talking about a cold wallet, then without the physical pressing of the  button it is impossible to steal your bitcoins. Personally, I use the hardware wallet Ledger Blue.
The more money stored in your wallet , the higher security standard you have to set. That's the rules , you'll automatically do it for yourself to swipe the insecure feeling up.
Own an offline and hardware wallet are necessary without third party , you know the next level about that. Don't be scared but be more careful.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: April 26, 2018, 09:51:02 AM
We can see the development of crypto from year to year. and the simple question of whether indicates there is an indication of crypto will increasingly fall? It is not. I think crypto himself will continue to grow each year because of course the more people who know and demand is so large.
Exactly.Crypto goes long term because there are more and more investors coming every now and then.It will never fall down for sure as long as people are here to make investments, thus making bitcoin increases its demand,as well as its market price.
Investor could come and go , but an adoption would bring better and effective for the future usage of crypto itself. Imagine when you get paid for your work everyday with crypto , buy things with crypto and every single payment integrated with crypto , there's no an end for cryptocurrency in that case.
Just the way we used a conventional money , it's continuously used as a primary thing. So do with crypto then.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or ETH for long term on: April 26, 2018, 07:11:39 AM
What happens with ETH in the last 2 years is more fantastic than bitcoin, ETH is more flexible and easy to use, besides with 1 ETH wallet we can keep hundreds of tokens so I'm sure that the future of ETH is more promising.
I agree with you . ETH has far more potential than all the coins in the market. If you invest in ETH, you will definitely receive a huge profit because ETH is using the smart contract platform and you can invest in ICO projects easily without many problems. I personally always choose ETH because their community is very large and the development team is great
There's no better cryptocurrency but Bitcoin , ethereum are an altcoin where people nowadays look so interested due how its multifunction not just as a currency but a platform to create other cryptocurrency , that's not enough to make you have nice profit , huge profit but at least it guarantee you to get something valuable in the future.
I would still choose Bitcoin over ethereum , it's like my second option .
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your rules for profit taking on: April 26, 2018, 06:47:50 AM
When do you withdraw funds? Do you sell into fiat or USDT? Im thinking something like this: After a 50% increase sell 20% into USDT, repeat. Reinvest in dips. When 100% increased sell 20% into fiat

We have different approach in terms of selling so maybe you can't really get an answer that will fit your criteria. As for me, I really tend to hold no matter what's the trend is or massive shit happening around.

So when will I sell?

a) as soon as Im fine with the profit whatever it takes
b) as soon as I need cash

So basically no such thing as %%% here because most of the time, I do hold. Since I have gotten enough on my stash, I rarely do buybacks.

My suggestion: How about executing what's your on mind and see if that will give a good output to you. Really a must to test some methods in order to find a winning strategy.

P.S Only applies to bitcoin. I have different approach into altcoins and it will requires another discussion.

Maybe you should moved this thread to Trading Discussion.

Since we are talking about trading , you need to have a strict rules to make every session ended up profit steadily , don't set too high profit , just piece by piece but a sure profit.
Holding as long as possible without actively buy and sell aren't considered as trading for me. Control your desire to win big , it's always become your biggest nightmare.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin you regret Selling? on: April 25, 2018, 08:35:23 PM
XRP. I sold it very low the other year and we saw it go to $3.00 per token last year. If I was patient and waited, I would have earned myself on a 1 year vacation hehehe.

The lesson here is centralized cryptocoins pump the highest hehe.
Talking about the past price of coins would put you in deep regret , just let it go and moving on.
But for fun purpose only , it's always interesting to count and remember how it could change your live when you haven't sell just hold it all. I was holding 80k ripple , bought it for for below 1cent each and some zcoin when it was below $0.3 , damn it's a lot of money today indeed.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: April 25, 2018, 08:07:58 PM
Well as we know there are still many people who sell panic when bad news spreads. Though they are helping more severe dump for fear of facing losses. They do not know that it's just a misleading issue, and when they realize it they start bemoaning their regret contributing to selling panic.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS or IOTA? on: April 25, 2018, 06:57:33 PM
I've read some reviews about EOS that have some important potential to put in a coin that is potentially a higher profit than IOTA. Of course everyone has his own view with different sources also to see which coins are better. EOS and IOTA are in the top 50 great coins according to coinmarketcap. So what I'm thinking is that they really do have the potential to be worthwhile coins with its function , eos as a platform similar to ethereum but have higher transaction per second and iota with its fee-free make people 50/50 interested in both.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on choosing the right ICO on: April 25, 2018, 06:39:44 PM
You can see the ICO rating in google, or you can search for a signal on the telegram for a good ICO. There are also some that must be noticed when choosing ICO, roadmap, strategy, team, Media Coverage,
The serious ICO pays the press for press releases. The more media coverage indicates the ICO project is widely known. Choose projects covered by major media such as Forbes, INC, Yahoo! Finance.
173  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3 Reasons why Bitcoin is Going Up! on: April 25, 2018, 01:58:35 PM
I think the main reason is the US beat Syria. This is the main reason that has pushed up so many altcoin prices. People are pouring money into the Crypto market to hold their assets in BTC. So altcoin prices have rebounded in two days.
It seems people will always speculate and find a reason for a particular action in the market. It is a speculative market anyway, so we should always expect some few little things to affect the market value once in a while. Nevertheless, we cannot say exactly what must have triggered that value, as it may not even be any of that, but whichever way, the price shot up but the question now is can we continue with this trend or we are going to still go back lower ? Let's see how it plays out in time.
Decentralization make Bitcoin so speculative , no one could affect the market , no regulation can affected it. It's about us who play in there , no one there but each of us make a buy and sell speculation continuously.
Those factors , those reasons acts as fundamental , you can rely on it but of course not a single view from the fundamental only , there's a technical factor also who can make you confident enough to consider it as the biggest thing influenced the price movement.
174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SAFE TRADING METHOD on: April 25, 2018, 09:52:38 AM
The potential crypto market, but also risky because the cryptoverse is unpredictable. Only invest the money you can lose. I only spend 5% to invest. Only invest in the top 30 to minimize risk.
Use the money you can afford to lose , that's part of bankroll management . I would suggest an arbitrage method to make your risk management become more easier , you wouldn't have to take bigger risk but see an opportunity to do arbitrage are part of minimalizing the risk to lose much money .
That's the safest method I've ever used , other than that trading would always about facing risk.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Prices will some day fluctuate less? on: April 24, 2018, 07:45:16 PM
The way i see it is that as long as bitcoin is traded on exchanges by people only
interested as an investment the price will fluctuate so i cannot see this scenario ending.
Wrong logic , you know that usd , pounds , euro etc are actively traded and with much bigger volume. Is it make them volatile ? Not it's not. What makes them volatile are decentralized , where conventional currency centralized , there's regulation and everyone should obey on it.
Less fluctuate might happened , but it would remain fluctuate.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Price Ripple (XRP) $ 1 In A Few More Days? on: April 24, 2018, 07:09:57 PM
Ripple grows with the whole market and there is nothing supernatural about it. Why is everyone just talking about this project? There is nothing unusual in it.
Ripple known actively make common cause with conventional banks and people start interested in ripple, that's why they are talking about the possibilities , the price pump factor etc.
Nothing unusual , just an exciting investors with a lot of money in the bag , causing the market pushed and sooner or later ripple would gone wild back to last ATH at around $3
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to minimize the risk and choose the best altcoins? on: April 24, 2018, 05:48:06 PM
Look at the project and see does it have a need for blockchain and tokens. Next look at the team and roadmap. If it looks fake probably it is.
A lot of projects dont have sense and it is not hard to distinct them right away
Aand after that , you need a good skill on money management , otherwise things won't run as planned , no profit but a nightmare and confusing moment to keep buying or just release all of them by sell it all at once.
Taking Risk always be a vital part , have something to improve no matter in technique or just knowledge would be helpful. For example when you really know what is happening in ethereum lately , know the factor causing a sudden pump with clear data you'll go allin to take that risk by buy it as many as you can.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: April 24, 2018, 11:23:32 AM
Tron might be the biggest scam in history so much people have lost a lot of money. Their ceo is just a kid who is a pumper and dumper. Their chart looks like a scam. Better invest into ethreum it is much more stable. Tron doesnt have main net, only some kind of test net.
People doubt in trx due how their developer aren't popular / known as a good one with good track record , it's reasonable indeed , but did you know it's always about risking something to achieve bigger thing.
With current development technically and fundamentally , people see it as an opportunity to get in the train to have a bigger profit with risk inside rather than a safe one like ethereum , you need a super patient attitude.
179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: April 20, 2018, 04:16:40 PM
Being a trader is not as easy as you imagine, emotion is the best friend for a trader. If you can't control your emotions, all you do is make a loss. Unfortunately, there is no successful trader with just the luck factor. The loss will continue to go to you. You try to survive until the capital runs out. You need to study technical analysts, or now many people provide vip signal services to traders who lack analyst and fundamental knowledge.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How pump and dump group are damaging reputation of crypto-currency? on: April 19, 2018, 10:48:04 PM
I once hold a coin and suddenly the coin that is almost $1 dump to less than $0.01 to me I move on but to some people  which are newbies this can discourage them from participating in crytocurrency and make them conclude it is fraud and that brought me to a question how do you think pump and dump group are damaging crypto-currency and it's reputation??

well
if that coin is useless coin , just like a easy way to get money.
but if that a good , like a top 100 coinmarket.
i think they need a big money to make a pump dump scheme.
about newbie , i believe more exchanges sites already announced about crypto currency is very fluctuactive
considering exchanges sites its a initial steps to get started
a low volume coin could easily manipulated but no with the high volume , if that what you mean then that's true , I couldn't agree more. It was a fraud that no one knows especially a newcomer.
For the first time they might would feel that's a crazy market , unbelievable and sucks experience. But you know it won't happened last forever , you'll get sweet profit and realize that the last time it was a pump and dump did intentionally not an ordinary market.
