161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 16, 2020, 12:04:51 AM
The best practice or bitcoin utility is to make discreet transaction. Being anonymous is a great advantage that any bitcoin user could have to get privacy, safety and security when doing especially huge transactions. However, bitcoin has been using widely as means of investment or an asset like gold. People are buying bitcoin to beat the inflation rate espscially nowadays that fiat currency will be hitting due to the pandemic which mostly all econony of every country are down.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 15, 2020, 04:03:42 PM
Nice presentation of data OP. I just remember that it did happen to ETH reaching to 1K USD but now down only to 400 + USD per ETH. Not bad either with ETH because we know that it still keep going strong in the market. However, we can see clearly now that among the coins in the market, it is bitcoin will stand. Chainlink may have a good market for now but we do not know what will going to happen in the future by the coin. Hopefully it will still get strong as what the community wanted to happen.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now the 20th Biggest Asset by Market Cap on: November 15, 2020, 03:58:35 PM
I thought it was rank 6th biggest currency in the world. We know how much bitcoin had worth in the market. Anyway, 20th rank is not bad either knowing that there are many rich country around the world. USA or the US dollar is one of the strong currency with China, Russia and some western countries and I think in some parts too in asia. Yet, this is not something that can be seen by now because bitcoin keeps growing everyday.

166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 15, 2020, 01:51:16 AM
No, they aren't because the USA had been affected by the bitcoin or its citizen had been involving bitcoin and experience losses this is what the government is mandated to do to protect the community. But, they can't impose on something like it does not under thier jurisdiction but they had the power too over international court so this is why the US government can interefere. There is nothing wrong about it if their only objectives is to serve juatice for the bitcoiners that had been losing in their investment from scammers.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 15, 2020, 01:44:03 AM
Just like other investors of bitcoin most likely selling it at higher market price would be ideal. However, it could also be done by converting it to another stable crypto like USDT. USDT is one trusted crypto in the market and has been doing good as well when converting from bitcoin to USDT coins that might be needed to buy bitcoin when needed especially when there is a chance if buying bitcoin at lower market for investment purposes.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think crypto stand a chance agaisnt the financial system on: November 15, 2020, 12:27:39 AM
Yes, actually it did already for some establishment are already adapting to it making bitcoin as their reserve money from their company. Not a bad Idea though because that money is good for a long term hold and that can beat the inflation rate that fiat currency is vulnerable of getting hit with inflation rate. This is one of the best way to save money in my opinion and even myself had started to accumulate savings by earning few coins and store it for a while.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: November 15, 2020, 12:23:55 AM
Not really because most of the newbie account are being made to run bounty for scam purposes. So, I am better off with those projects. The best project to join are those projects that pays BTC or altcoins that can be traded off to bitcoin or fiat currency directly. That because most.of the bounty hunters objective is to earn money from work. This may not be able to suffice basic needs but at least it could support by earning by promoting projects.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 15, 2020, 12:20:24 AM
Well, there are good altcoins but I think selling it would be good in bull run. The market of altcoin is directly affected on rhe growth of bitcoin market. If bitcoin will go uptrend then we visibly seen that other altcoins as well can go up and if bitcoin goes down so does the altcoins. So, during bull run selling altcoins I think would be good because after bull run most coins will go down in terms of marketif bitcoin too will be.
171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Biden have to reimburse the costs for his fake "president elect" psyop? on: November 14, 2020, 01:08:35 PM
I do believe that the election was done without cheating. The credibility of the people living in the USA should not be gone greedy for they are from rich country and they had too good salary to sacrifice their dignity and conscience. Why would I allow anyone to cheat when the goverment paying me good salary in my career? Aside from that if I will allow cheating and had been found out of doing it then I could be thrown to jail and that is not ideally a good idea.
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Accomplishments (unmoderated) on: November 14, 2020, 01:03:39 PM
Winning the 2020 Election (By A Lot!) definitely belongs on his long list of accomplishments for future generations to study.

Not sure what you mean. One thing is for sure. The election has cancelled itself via Trump's executive order.

What do you do when there is no election? What do we do when the election has been caused to not exist? Does Trump remain President until the election can be redone? Does Congress have to make a special law regarding this whole thing so that we can get a President?

What do you think?

Cool

The new elected president can take now his position. He was selected by the people and that presidential seat belongs to the new  elected president. Hence, Trump now has no authority over any of the officials now that he can request for the decision making now is in the hands if the new elected president is to appeal. And if ever in the appeal prove that there was cheating the newly elected president will forfeit his designation as president a d worse will go to prison.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 14, 2020, 12:46:18 PM
Because of an ambition or overconfidence. When betting on sports in a match where the team we believe will win is easy so that we are overconfidence in betting, so we ignore several factors that might at that time the opposing team have a slight advantage to win. Things like that at least often happen, I think there are no specific tips to minimize defeat because in gambling itself is a game of luck, so the most important thing to realize is not to overconfidence because it might become a blunder.
No, I am not a betting addict that risking in betting. It is.not ideal to bet when risk is high like odds but a good.win thought it.can.make. However, this is not the reaso why we lose in betting. The real.reason are the fees.of gambling platform and if it has regulated or mandate d by the government then pretty sure it will gey a tax. Others are paying 10% deduction of service fee and tax to winnings. This is where some money go and this is a form of losses on the gambler's side.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: November 14, 2020, 04:07:00 AM
Westbrook should start learning how to adjust it's no longer his team unlike with OKC.

If ever this trade will materialized it might be good for the clippers knowing that Kawhi knows how to adjust, the rest would be in the hands of the coaches and staff bringing the team blend correctly. That 3-1 blowout is just a memory they needed to move forward and face this new season as a great challenged to try for another run to finals.
The team still needing more good players. They can train the bench players but it is really the talent and skills that matter. Not all has it in playing basketball. Tall players are at advantage but if they not know how to use or it does not have good talent to use it then it will come to waste. Lebron James is one of the best player with his athletic body and height, the coordination of his skills in shooting then he is way difficult to guard.

LA clippers should see worth players to be added in their team. This is one way ticket to win championship in the next season.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 14, 2020, 03:56:15 AM
The short answer is: There is no any impact on gambling from USA election.

Well I disagree. The GOP and Trump are against regulations, even obviously good ones, for example Trump signed orders allowing companies to dump toxic waste in rivers, like in a third world country.

The Dems are much more in favor of regulations. So if the online gambling industry is in the crosshairs of the administration for things like lax KYC, tax evasion, money laundering, then I'd expect a Biden administration to clamp down on these.

I agree with Johnny there is no impact because majority of the gambling sites are not accepting US citizens to play in their platform, they cannot clampdown on something that they have no jurisdiction or do not accept any of their citizen, the US elections has been trying to connect the price in the market and now the gambling as if the US has impact to the world on what's happening in their internal affairs.
unless the US government will going to change the way they wanted to happen in their community. Leaders had different thoughts about gambling and cryptocurrency. Beside, no on had ask the new elected leader on this matter since this is not the priority. However, if time comes that all will be settle and in regards of this matter will brought to the new administration and they different perception then we can somehow see q different gambling and cryptocurrency depending on thew new administration.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: November 14, 2020, 01:03:10 AM
Wise investors are investors who really understand a coin before investing he is always watching, reading, monitoring the progress of the coint it
when all is seen for sure the investor will invest in coin it and when the price starts to pump a little, it will continue to sell and can a little profit then invest in other coin
profit is a little better than waiting for a high rise but in fact the price goes down and it is difficult to return to the initial price, wise investors are certainly not greedy, because they know and can read market movements, if they get a profit they will immediately sell it without waiting anymore
As long as their is profit then nothing to worry about hoe much it will be. However, a wise investors know when to stop holding coins. For now, market is already good and if it happens that you are buying bitcoin at cheap.price then selling it now would be good. However, still waiting for more market price increase is the  best thing to do. We do not know how much market could make this time when bitcoin now is heading towards record breaking for ATH in the year of 2017.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 14, 2020, 12:52:40 AM
High chance that it could sink to lower market after bull run but we cannot assure that it will going to happen because we know that more and more people will hold die to the fact that bitcoin is one of the best digital currency. Instead if selling bitcoin thinking of ATH and profit I.think best is to hold some if you have some coins like selling 50/50 of your holdings. Like what I said more and more people are using bitcoin and it will be hard to acquiren die to limited supply only.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: November 14, 2020, 12:48:51 AM
We cannot say that pandemic was good in pandemic but for me people that has extra money are keeping it as an asset like bitcoin. This can beat the inflation rate that the fiat currency had been hitting with in this pandemic. Basic needs commodities has been doubled its market not because the value of fiat currency has been depleted. This is why people who knows bitcoin are using it to avoid getting hit by the inflation rate.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 13, 2020, 04:21:27 PM
Bitcoin as an asset or property is like also having a real property or a car that usually needing insurance to cover expenses whenever nad things occur for that property.

Bitcoin was created as decentralized digital currency, but also consider as an asset. Bitcoin is sometimes vulnerable like getting stolen from phishing sites, hacking and scamming other people is a  form of damage to bitcoin.

Is there any chance that bitcoin can have an insurance from its vulnerabilities in the future?

What do yoi think?
180  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Didnt store 12 word phrase for coinbase wallet on: November 13, 2020, 04:16:35 PM
Not your keys not your coin. The same thing apply to you. we cannot get your coin because we do not have the key for it but unfortunately it was not save. No way someone could get it for you because it is not easy to bypass security and get your coins. I do also have the idea that you are using a coinbase wallet not the coinbase exchange app. Meaning that the security feature of that wallet is high and definitely no one can access it for you.
