So I thought I would give the lottery a try today. Enabled my NiceHash account and when I place an order I get a red message that User order temporary locked. What does this mean and why can't I place an order?
That happened to me and I had to contact support. Took them a couple of days, but they fixed it. No idea why it happened. OK so I said screw it. IF they don't want my 12PH rental I'll put the BTC back in my wallet. Low and behold, my withdrawals are locked as well. Seems that if you add F2A or change your password everything is locked for 7 days. That friggan' SUCKS!! So much for my 12PH rental and my BTC that is now locked there for a week.

I have a working daemon, but I can't seem to get it to mine ... doesn't show the hashrate I'm sending and never finds a block? Any special settings in the conf needed? Hi DiMarco,
it's in the makefile, edit with nano or vi xCXXFLAGS= -std=c++11 ( add to front ) Then you need to perform make -f makefile.unix clean Then make -f makefile.unix
This is from the discord channel, if you need a link it's at the top of the page.
I'll update this fix over the weekend and also add the Ubunto 16 wallet binary.
Regards
Jimmy
can you mine this again or is it banned on the the mining pools again? Mining ended at block 750,000, so there is no more mining. why is stop mining? Because mining ended at block 750,000. Why? Because that is the way the coin was designed.

Hope this pool can update its interfaces and stats at some point, depending on the port your hashing on stats are not displayed for 4334 and is for 3333 among the other ports also doing the same. Not able to set static diff, could use some TLC on updates.
Not a chance. You want fancy shit interfaces, look elsewhere. This pool is in its dying stages and the last thing on earth I'm going to do is do an expensive fancy shit interface update for absolutely fucking nothing. The last 250+ block solvers didn't seem to care. Yeah it is hard to rent 0.1 btc of hash since that is about two weeks of profit for me. And the odds are more then 120 to 1. So 750 to 800 spent on a 120 to one shot is a move. That's why it's called the BTC lottery!!!

Well, If anything I am persistent. I just picked up anther 8 ph for the next 7 hrs.. We can do it again.
congrats and good luck!!

Hoping for a way to adjust the freq on the S9k, they seem to run a bit hot. Lots of rebooting.

The current state of the Bitmain L3+ in the current ASIC and CRYPTO Universe. Now ---- 9/27/19 from www.litecoinpool.org/calc a free LTC mining pool that has NO fee and pays out at 103%. At 500mh and 800 watts at 10c kWh and at the current price of $55 per LTC. (This would be a bit better if you underclocked the L3+ units). Comes to: (see below) NEGATIVE -$37.90 LOSS per month per L3+. 24 hours 0.01194157 LTC 0.66 USD 1.92 USD -1.26 USD 7 days 0.08359097 LTC 4.60 USD 13.44 USD -8.84 USD 30 days 0.35824702 LTC 19.70 USD 57.60 USD -37.90 USD Future ------ Again, using www.litecoinpool.org/calc as a guide. (Feel free to put in your own numbers on this calculator for LTC price/electric/underclock or whatever). To make a profit using the same info as above and current difficulty and adjusting the price to that you at least break even would require that LTC be at $161.00 LTC price. (Also remember if at that price difficulty would also go up likely with all L3+'s turned back on...but I'm using the same difficulty as today) Again, 500mh 800 watts at 10c kWh at the current price of $161 per LTC. (This again would be better if you managed to underclock the L3+ units). Comes to: (see below) POSITIVE 8c profit GAIN per month per L3+. Expected Rewards Costs Net Profit 24 hours 0.01194157 LTC 1.92 USD 1.92 USD 0.00 USD 7 days 0.08359097 LTC 13.46 USD 13.44 USD 0.02 USD 30 days 0.35824702 LTC 57.68 USD 57.60 USD 0.08 USD So from what I can tell you'd need $200 LTC almost immediately to even turn the L3+ units back on, due to the increase in hash-rate of everyone turning these L3+ beasties back on. (Including my stuff). So basically we are utterly screwed. And 'triply" so at $55 LTC prices. The boat has sunk. We need 3x the current price to basically make about 8c per L3+ per month! All L3+'s have sunk. They, also are about IMHO 65% to75% of all scrypt-pow miners in the world, from what I can tell from Bitmain. Complete and utter, as they say, 'miner capitulation' indeed. As an aside, this is pretty much the same issue as far as percentage of miners and price for Bitmain BTC miners the S9's. So use your miners for 'nice' ASIC 'shelf art', in that as of now, that is all they are good for. Novelty shelf art indeed. Brad Remember winter is coming, great space heaters. Point them at TBDice and heat your basement and let them play the lottery!! the l3+ doesnt put out enough heat to heat a room.. maybe a small shed, or closet to keep the mold out. And unless you have really cheap electric these are expensive heaters. Also the L3+s are decently loud, so if you are trying to heat a living space that would annoy the hell out of me all day lol. I was always interested in peoples set ups where they have the heat ported from a non living space into their home. I have 2 S9k's in the basement, in the winter I keep all the vents closed and it keeps it nice and toasty!!

Well I would but it looks like my xlr from gate to blockchain was just stolen man I am so sick of this being ignorant to me.
Because we really don't care if you had coins stolen/lost/gambled away. That is all on you and no one else. Really it would appear that everyone there is criminals duhhh? Maybe, but it just goes to show we are smarter than you are.

You know antminerguruguy, telling Jimmy to set the price on the coin doesn't work that way. If people want to buy a coin the price goes up, if people want to dump the price goes down. If it stays too long with no buying action the exchange will de-list the coin.
This makes no sense who would be willing to buy a coin thats job is too remain valueless. You can't control the market jimmy! billionaires could? I don't think anyone here is a billionaire. Once mining is done, in about 47,000 blocks the only way to get this coin will be on an exchange. Any way its too unstable I need something less game for two friends and more dependable. Then buy Bitcoin

Staking will start when you have mature coins, When a new wallet comes out a masternode is going to be 200000. When staking is active the arrow will turn green. The more coins you have the more you will stake. Right now a masternode is still 10000 coins.
How did you know that when a new wallet comes out, MN will cost 200,000 SOCI. I have not seen this information anywhere. 20,000 it has been talked about on the discord page.

as well uh... your bid is gone no way to sell coins. Again in another 65,000 blocks mining will be over. The dumpers will have nothing left to dump. Either people will start buying or the coin dies. There are thousands of dead coins out there that never made it. Other than mining time I have nothing invested. It's part of the game. The coin will grow or it will die, plain and simple. Jimmy I don't understand crypto your right there are millions of pointless coins with no value. Why do people mine worthless coins? Because look at DOGE or some of the others that started out as worthless shit coins and have held their value. 10 years ago Bitcoin was worthless. You just never know. I remember when Litecoin was $3 each, and bitcoin was $50 each. You just never know
