Could anyone help? I did a photorec recovery of all .dat files from an old drive and put them on a flash drive. The pywallet recovery process gets this far but then just quits:
"Read 16.4 Go in 42.0 minutes
Found 21 possible wallets Found 5850 possible encrypted keys Found 843 possible unencrypted keys
Possible wallet #1 with passphrase #1 "
It just quits there. It does produce a pywallet_partial_recovery_xxx.dat file, but I cannot dump it or load it with any litecoin client.
Any assistance would be very appreciated.
^bump at the end of your command line use a >text.txt this will dump the info to a text file. You have to know what questions is asks because the screen doesn't echo.

Economy / Service Discussion / Question about hosting datacenters

OK I have 4 Antminer R4s, thinking about sending them to a data center. But all the ones I look at it would cost $120-$150 per miner per month. How do you house these in a data center when the cost of hosting is no where near what the miners bring in?

I'm really new at this. Is it possible in any way with a PC, to farm BTC and get rewarded step by step and not only if I "Hit the lottery"?
What is your mining hardware? CPU/GPU/ASIC? Many pools won't let you mine BTC with anything other than ASICs. If you are using GPUs you may want to consider mining ALT coins and trading them for BTC.

I'm not sure what wallet you are using that would charge you to receive the payouts, but I suggest you change if that is the case.
The payouts I send are zero fee and I charge no fees to send the block payouts.
Mh, all right, if you say so I believe you and have another go at it. Maybe I simply misunderstood something in the wallet. Thanks again for the answers. Be aware that the order you see them arrive in your wallet will not exactly match the block order. When a bunch of payouts are confirmed at the same time (yeah like coconuts ... a bunch ) the order of that bunch will be random. Bunches are GOOD!!!!
