Just got a call from UPS asking for my SSN to clear shipment from China. I'm on Sep 21-30 batch but Bitmain site is not yet showing order as shipped. The UPS person told me there is no import tax to pay but I have no idea if that was for PSUs or for L3s.
How do you prevent paying import duties? Bitmain lists the purchase value on the customs forms, you will be charged based on it... On my last 4 I got in (to the USA), 3 got held up in AK in customs. After getting a call from UPS, they were released. 2 weeks later I received a bill from UPS for $35 for fees. |

Okay Madmarky, it is true that poeple wanne benefit of there investment. Espacially people buying antmaniers d3 from ebay for 5000 dollar. But we al trying to get rid of the given obligations to serve. In my case i bought antminer low direct from Bitmain. But they over fludded the market by first doing scares and then gives it everything. Like i said, i understand marketing and you are no victum (in this case).
I have 1 coming in November. Being a hobby miner I'll play with it for a bit and sell it off. |

Late November batch of D3 currently available on bitmain.com and the website is actually responsive, it's a miracle!
theres a reason for that, current daily profits for d3 are 40 bucks RIGHT NOW. Imagine the income in December when this huge batch gets delivered. You're looking at 5 dollars a day, good luck getting an ROI If current daily profit for d3 is $40 still very good return, but if too many X11 miners in the market might really distribute profits equally with higher difficulty. Let's hope there are more potential coins to be mined by end of the year. I see people say that ^ . . are there actually any x11 coins in the works or already out that are really worth anything? No one is forcing people to buy at their prices. I'm personally aware of a situation where a known reseller that has been doing this for a long time treated a poster in here like all buddy, buddy. This reseller, knowing full well that this kid was buying machines on credit, went ahead and sold him a miner for $8,500.00 knowing full well that the thing would NEVER see the light of day. This kid seems like a real good guy and he trusted this cat because he was "experienced". The "reseller" had ordered a huge quantity of D3's because he had made a KILLING on the L3+ back in July. So he got greedy and ordered 50 of them. Now I'm sure he's in a panic because he needs to dump them before too many people catch on that he is ripping them off for his own personal greed. Are you OK with that?? Is that the kids fault because some prick who only cares about money fucked him over?? Yeah I know, he should know better, but Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?!?! Who the fuck needs people like these resellers that don't care about the protocols. don't know fuck all about the technology and are just here to rape and pillage to stuff their bottomless shitty pockets. If you buy 10 miners and sell 5 at double to pay for your hardware that's pretty OK if ya ask me. But this go around, a bunch of fucking maggots rolled through the batches and horded the shit out of the inventory so they could flip them. We all saw the scams and selling of orders and on and on. Fuck all that. I'm not OK with that. No one forced this kid to buy a unit. Sounds like an impulse buy because someone didn't want to wait. Sorry, a reseller can ask whatever they want for something. If it's too high you go without. |

This new batch's policy is complete shit IMHO - I suggest not to buy it.
In the last 30 days efficacy of these miners HALVED on nicehash, at this moment, ROI in crypto for L3+ is 4+ months, by the time you get them will be most probably way over 1 year.
It is plain stupid to buy these with crypto, and then mine for 1+ year just to return what you paid for them in the same currency.
Makes no sense.
I got 4 in from the Aug/Sept batch. Total paid $5200, sold 3 and tripled my investment and still have one to play with. Even after the E-Bay and Paypal fees I tripled what I paid for them. I'm happy!! |

Hi guys, my parcel is stuck in China on the status 'held in warehouse' since Sept 1st. Called ups and they told me that I just need to wait... Anyone had similar issue?
3 out of 4 of mine got held up in Customs in AK. 1 got through and should be here today. UPS called this morning, needed a tax id number and the rest should be here tomorrow. |
