161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 40k+ CAD? on: January 04, 2021, 08:01:53 PM
I think it's going to stay around same figure for a while but there would be few more correction phase only to pump back even more and this correction phase will make Bitcoin market more saturated wherein inexperienced users will panic sell. If we have a look at what happened today it's a reminder that volatility is still there which was missing for a while and even though it looks like we will not be going through any massive dump but still there is a possibility of the same. It's just my assumption not a prediction.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't ask about the price. No one knows! on: January 04, 2021, 07:02:40 PM
Yes, its usual case whenever Bitcoin pumps we might see numerous threads with some realistic and unrealistic predictions vice versa when it dumps. This bull run is entirely different than the one we witnessed in 2017 and either Bitcoin will cross an unexpected figure which we wouldn't have assumed just like it crossed $34k before dropping a bit when we were expecting Bitcoin to cross $10k around December 2019 - January 2020, but what happens if it drops down which might not happen immediately but eventually there are chances of dump when investors decide to cashout, what's your though on this?
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin goes off this Institutionalized expected Bull-Run? on: January 04, 2021, 06:32:59 PM
If institutions decided to cashout then it will create massive drop wherein it would take years for bitcoin to be back on track as it took bitcoin over 3 years to break precious ATH of 2017 because it's not only institutional or whales cashing out but rather users panic selling due to sudden drop which does more damage to the price of bitcoin. But I think we got diversified investment this time so the bull market will go on for a while but honestly I have no idea about today's drop what caused that drop ir if it's a correction which I assume.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Correction has started? on: January 04, 2021, 05:46:01 PM
Yes everyone observed the huge drop and I think is might be a temporary correction phase which will act as a slingshot for new investors because they can utilise this moment to buy Bitcoin because Bitcoin has pooled in lot of institutional investment from different sectors and I don't think any bear run is in the pipeline as of now, this looks like a similar correct phase which we witnessed before Bitcoin hit $20k.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex delisting XMR, DASH and ZEC. Will this affect Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2021, 09:37:35 PM
It's really an alarming news and I would say this might have been preplanned as regulators (SEC) will gradually start neutralizing altcoins before attempting to cause damage to Bitcoin like they tried in the past but failed miserably. But this will have positive effect on Bitcoin on a short run because Bitcoin might receive those investment when investors move their existing investment from the mentioned coins.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: January 03, 2021, 09:01:07 PM
It's pretty much possible as the current bullrun doesn't seems like ending anytime sooner and I think this year we will have reverse combination of extended bullrun and short or temporary bear market. $50k is not a big deal and achievable within few weeks or months if Bitcoin grows at the same pace we might possibly see more investment from individuals than whales or institutions.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin; Then and Now on: January 03, 2021, 07:33:35 PM
This clarifies one things that Bitcoin will not repeat 2018 as Bitcoin has already resisted the danger zone period of year end when bear run started in 2017. I feel there is still a long way to go and this would be the year of bitcoin, I had negative impression initially and assumed price will go down but I was wrong and the best part about this would be new investment as everyday we hear about Bitcoin in news articles.

168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin a deep pullback @40K? on: January 03, 2021, 06:53:19 PM
I don't think there might be any pullback for atleast few months and if this trend continues then Bitcoin wil easily cross $40k within couple of weeks, post which either it will rally towards $50k or else we might see a correction phase. However Bitcoin has proved me wrong in the past as I though the market will become bearish from Christmas but it went other way around thus I cannot predict much as its out of my research zone.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: another major resistance broke and the FOMO began on: January 02, 2021, 09:50:07 PM
I think this year would be bit different than 2017/2018 as the bull run lasted for hardly 2 months last time but this time it would last for more than that (atleast 6 months) due to continuous cash inflow and this time bitcoin is receiving investment from both institutions as well as users like us who don't want to miss out one more opportunity as Bitcoin might break all the barriers again as it did cross $30k today. FOMO will always be there which is the reason for panic selling as well.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back to $20000 possible in 2021? on: January 02, 2021, 08:50:42 PM
There are possibilities of Bitcoin dropping down to $20k or else pumping up to over $50k and it would be difficult to predict which way the boat will sail, if it's the positive wave then we might see massive pump as users will be investing more into Bitcoin for better returns and if it's negative wave then we might see panic selling but not similar to 2018 as users have learnt a lesson about panic selling. This time we will see more users HODling regardless Bitcoin drops down to $20k or $2k.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gradually clinching to $40k on: January 02, 2021, 07:41:27 PM
It's pretty much possible if we looks at the pace with which Bitcoin is growing but we need to consider volatility factor for long term plans. We are happy that Bitcoin is unstoppable and more institutional investments are pouring in and users like you and me who are investing as well in FOMO is also playing key factor in supporting the pump by creating a resistance level. I think $40k is not a big deal as per current market standings.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just smashed through $30k on: January 02, 2021, 06:45:58 PM
It looks like a fairytale when it comes to bitcoin's recent pump wherein it break all the barriers and proved critics false when Bitcoin crossed $30k but it's bit scary to even imagine how market will react to any possible dump from whales, are whales losing control of price manipulation due to new investments or else is a long trap or this is how things are going to be for nect one year or couple of months ?
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 01, 2021, 10:05:03 PM
I don't think only 10% tokens or altcoins will survive as we are witnessing new projects with better technical contribution towards the crypto world but most of the them failed to sustain due to be as bearish market but now things have improved which will pump the value of altcoins. Yes there are worthless tokens as well who will gradually go out of business once investors stop showing interest but 10% is too low to be honest.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2021 - will this be the year bitcoin? on: January 01, 2021, 09:19:27 PM
It'll probably be a year for both.

I suspect people trading things like Elliott waves or even "buy the dip" strategies might do quite well this year.

I think if we see like 2017, we won't go back. The $40-$60k region is what I suspect we'll go back to if we do make it up past $250k. So if it does that then holders will see a 100% return even without doing much more.

(These are my current ASSUMPTIONS so far I wouldn't recommend people speculate based on them - because I'm not).

That's a pretty decent assumption, I am sure hodlers will be receiving a good amount of return if they plan it accordingly and should be shaken by temporary fluctuations which Bitcoin might encounter and on the other hand panic selling will open the doors for more profit for the traders who will be waiting to buy low in order to sell at high. 2021 will be a year of Bitcoin and we will see new heights. I just hope regulators don't try to create any further problem for bitcoin as they are busy with XRP and USDT nowadays.
175  Economy / Speculation / 2021 - will this be the year bitcoin? on: January 01, 2021, 08:20:23 PM
Looking at the current bull run its evident that 2021 would be the year of Bitcoin (not a prediction, just my assumption). But will this be the year to HODL the existing Bitcoin or do daily trading? If there is no drop in the value of Bitcoin then trader's profit will be lesser than those who Hodl bitcoin. What's your take on 2021 and how do you presume this year for bitcoin?
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FOMO has started for Bitcoin on: December 31, 2020, 10:28:57 PM
You nailed it, it's common for most of us to be carried away by FOMO but what I don't understand over her is the fact we don't learn anything from the past. I know Bitcoin is really bullish nowadays as it was in 2017 when most of the users invested at peak before it crashed, now I don't think Bitcoin will crash anytime sooner but still users should understand they have missed the most profitable investment opportunity.
177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin All Time High (ATH) Position Now on: December 31, 2020, 08:59:26 PM
Next bitcoin would rally towards $35k and if it's achieved with first week of new year then Bitcoin will not lag much to reach the golden mark of $50k which has been speculated from a long time. We have not seen any negative news or market variations in a while which is a good sign that Bitcoin will grow further and as Bitcoin grows it's pooling in more investment from people and shift of investment from altcoins to bitcoin have started.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proved it once again on: December 31, 2020, 08:23:59 PM
Bitcoin already proved its worthiness for how many times so I didn't doubt Bitcoin this year 2020. Ohh wait, it's already 2021 here in my country.

Anyways, bitcoin will truly give us more opportunities in the future and it will prove again that we should adopt more to the usage of it and take advantage of its current market to grow profit. After the 2017 bull run, I stopped spending in altcoins and focused on bitcoin 'cause I know that it will start a bull run again and look at what happened, $29k

Yes, that's true as Bitcoin has already proven it's worth numerous times and we shouldn't be sceptical anymore even if we go through one more bearish market we should use it as an opportunity to buyback rather than selling out of panic and fear. I have always believed in Bitcoin and really wanted to reinvest into Bitcoin during 2018 crisis but couldn't due to financial circumstances but now I have saved enough to reinvest in any such bearish market.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex removing XRP on: December 31, 2020, 07:13:48 PM
Things are getting really bad for XRP as more exchanges will follow this step and I have been monitoring XRP volume which is reducing day by day, a lot is at stake and everything depends on the outcome of case and we can expect worst in upcoming days and the FUDs will kill XRP if more people shift their investment. Those who have invested huge amount into XRP should either sell at loss or else Hodl expecting it to bounce and even if XRP goes to zero now it might bounce make sooner or later.
180  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin price start Falling? on: December 30, 2020, 09:02:46 PM
We cannot predict or have an idea about when Bitcoin will start falling back as the Bitcoin market is over performing than ever and if this continues for couple of more weeks then no-one would start thinking about.when the price will fall down because the ATH which we have now might turn into a resistance figure for minimum red mark. We cannot predict anything at the moment.
