161  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 18-Oct-2017] on: October 21, 2017, 12:54:47 PM
I noticed that a mistake is made in the list for the signature campaign that I've joined (Pundi X).

Currently it states that a participant have to post a minimum of 30 posts per week, but this is wrong, since it's a maximum of 30 posts per week.
Please change it, so that this will be correctly displayed.
162  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Gambling Method [Make $40-50 daily] on: October 21, 2017, 12:48:31 PM
Things like these get promoted way to often.

Listen good to me: there is no way to make a guaranteed profit in X amount of time. When you are gambling, you are always losing in the long run.

@anyone interested to buy: don't. This 'method' won't work, and you'll only be paying to lose in the long run.

164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My blockchain.info balance reads different vs my bitcoin core QT wallet on: October 20, 2017, 10:01:51 PM
The answer to question 1 is very easy. If there is any mistake made, it is not made by your bitcoin QT wallet, because the wallets (actually the addresses) are the backbone of the network. The webiste blockchain.info only read information, and mistakes can be made.

Regarding your second question, it can have to do with change. Whenever you send a transaction and the total input value is more then the amount you want to send, the wallet automatically creates a change wallet, where the rest of the input is sent to.

blockchair reads the same amount as blockchain.info.

Right so when i send a transaction i've started to tick the box to minus the transaction fee from my transaction, is this why my transaction creates a change wallet ? Sometimes the amounts going into the second wallet are considerably more than i am sending - is this right? im not hacked or anything here?

So let me just confirm with you because i sent like 0.1 from my addy to exchange and apparently blockchain .info says i've sent 0.5 to someone else all included - Bitcoin QT has no history of this ofcourse like i said before.

Many thanks for any help understanding.
I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but this is how it should go:

For example, you have 1 BTC in your address A.

You want to send 0.3 BTC to your friend with address B. The 0.3BTC goes to your friend, but the 0.7 BTC goes to your change address C. Whenever you create the transaction, it should look somewhat like this:
Address A  -1BTC.  ->  Address B + 0.3BTC & Address C + 0.7 BTC.

Can you maybe post the transaction ID, so that I (and others on this forum) can look into it.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold on: October 20, 2017, 09:41:20 PM
Don't see it as 'free money' given.

What happens is that the network is split. Most people will continue using the BTC part of the fork, and a small group of people will use the bitcoin cash/gold part of the chain.

If you have any bitcoins before the fork happens, you have that amount of bitcoins on both chains. If you don't want to use e.g. bitcoin gold, you can send them to an exchange, and trade them for BTC.
However, if you do that, and everyone suddenly decides to use bitcoin gold in stead of BTC, then your new aquired BTC are worth nothing, so it's not free money after all. It's money on both chains.

167  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Physical Bitcoin on: October 19, 2017, 10:38:54 AM
Well, these things already excist. Just google for 'casascius bitcoin'. I have one myself, and I think it's really pretty.

I have to agree with milani though. Bitcoin in physical format meant for payments is not gonna work. However, keeping a physical bitcoin for collection/storage can be pretty fun.
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 18-10-17 NOW WITH RAKEBACK on: October 18, 2017, 10:38:33 PM
A new update for the list. Some things have changed.

Most importantly: I now offer rakeback! In the list, for every site listed with a green *, I offer a certain % rakeback. Before registering via the affiliate link, contact me; then we can work out a rakeback deal for which we both profit.

Also, bitcoinrush have been added for the sports betting cathegory.

As always, if you have any tips for the list, let me know here or via PM.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: October 18, 2017, 10:29:36 AM
benfica vs Manchester united

Anderlecht vs Paris SG

Bayern munich vs Celtic

Qarabag FK vs Atletico Madrid

Barcelona vs olympiacos

Juventus vs sporting CP

I will try to take the team that I mark bold, I think it should all be able to win the game easily.

What you are doing here is not the smartest thing to do. If a team 'should win easily', doesn't make the bet good. You need to look wheter a team wins a mach enough of the time to make the line you're betting good or not.

For example, if I'd give you an odd of 1.01 for Juventus to win, would you take it? Probably not. They don't win enough of the time to make that line profitable. If a bet is profitable depends on which odds you're getting, and they are probably very low on these matches. I'm not saying they're too low, but that might be the case, and you should take that in concideration.

Therefore I'd advice you to take a look at the lines, and concider wheter or not the bets you're making are profitable.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Invite Only Bitcoin Casinos? on: October 17, 2017, 11:28:30 PM
I've been hearing from people that the GOOD not scam casinos are invite only, but I am unable to find them. Does anyone happen to know about these invite only casinos and where I can find them?

I don't think so. Such bussines idea just does not make sense. More users = more possible profit so why would they do that.

But I might be wrong.

Yeah, I think you do have a good point here. Every casino wants to attract as much gambles as possible. Why would they only want certain gamblers? Mor gamblers = more money earned. This is or sure the truth now in this saturated market.

Also, these days a lot of bitcoin gambling casinos are provably fair, so it is not hard to find a (in your words) 'not scam' casino.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 15.000 Euros, what shoul I do ? on: October 17, 2017, 03:46:24 PM
A lesson which can be hard to learn for newbies, is not to get too excited at the start. As you can see in the posts above me, people are recommending to throw money at all kind of coins. They most likely do that because they have those coins by themselves, and want the price to go up, so they can dump on you.

The smartest (however the most boring) thing to do is to buy only bitcoins with your money, and keep them sitting. It is for sure not exciting, but will be the most stable profit you'll get of any coins out there.

Also, if you really want to invest in something, don't follow someone on the internet blind, but do good research by yourself before you buy anything.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: October 17, 2017, 10:54:28 AM
I think that the odds of Shaktar Donetsk winning versus Feyenoord are too high at this point (2.087 at Nitrogen at the moment). I think they win more then 47% of the time, which makes it a winning bet.

Feyenoord have a list of injuries in their defence, which weakens it. Also, they have lost their first 2 matches this Champions League campaign, and Shaktar has won 1.
Additionally, Feyenoord has only won 1 out of their last 4 matches, so they are proably in a downward spiral.
173  Other / Archival / Re: My paypal > Your BTC +15% on: October 16, 2017, 09:35:28 PM
Nothing against you OP, but this sounds and smells very fishy.

Things to take into account before taking this deal:
1. Why is OP offering an insane +15% on buying when he can also offer lower amounts?
2. Trading crypto's with Paypal is never a smart thing. Paypal is against crypto's, and if anything goes wrong, they won't have your back.
174  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Overview of all bitcoin casinos] Latest update: 11-10-17 on: October 16, 2017, 09:18:17 PM
I think that websites that invest in promotions deserve some attention here. I want to point 2 websites out that are (currently) running a promotion.

First, there is Crypto-games, who are giving away up to 0.015 BTC reward for certain bets that are made. More info can be read on their site.
The other promotion is Stake, who are giving away 0.0005 BTC  for a follow on their Snapchat. More info can be found here.

Also, I am looking to update the list, so if you guys have any new information I could use, please PM me or post it here. Thanks!
175  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Sports 🏀 NBA Season Underway ⭐ Earn Free Bets 🏀 The Future of Betting on: October 16, 2017, 11:51:02 AM
Also one more thing.. if you guys will continue to be using manual grading system, someone have to stand by graders to guickly grade the games.. you guys have slowest grading system ever!!! This is 2017!! Your company's grading time is unacceptable!
I completely disagree with you about this. For me, almost always the bets are settled right after the involved match has ended, so it is clearly something on your end, and not something on nitrogens end.

And by the way, if you have enough funds in your account, you should be able to place new bets while waiting for other bets to be settled.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice (Ƀ 20 max profit & 10 bit faucet) on: October 13, 2017, 02:51:07 PM
I have addressed this in the bustadice chat earlier, but it bugged me yesterday, so I decided to make a post about it here.

Yesterday I had something like 0.08 BTC in my account. It showed up as 0.08 BTC at the top of the page, which is fine, if it wouldn't be the case that the gambling is done in bits. It would be so much better if both amounts are in either BTC or bits, and not balance in BTC and gambling in bits.

Now I have to calculate every time I make a bet how much I'm wagering, which shouldn't be necessary. I would like to see this solved.
177  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I see address the money has been sent to it, but it doesn't have any balance on: October 12, 2017, 01:22:28 PM
For me, it shows that the specified address doesn't contain any bitcoins. It has received bitcoins previousely, but they have been used in another transaction, so the wallet is emtpy.
You might already have used it previousely. What electrum does, is that it creates new addresses for new transactions, so that you stay anonimous.

179  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC4BET.com - New bitcoin bet game! on: October 11, 2017, 10:09:00 PM

* PICK 3 (THE LAST 3 DIGIT)  >> BET $1 WIN $750
* 3 SWAP (SWAP LAST 3 NUMBERS)  >> BET $1 WIN $120
* PICK 2 (2 NUMBERS NEXT TO LAST 3) >> BET $1 WIN $90
* LAST 2 (LAST 2 NUMBERS) >> BET $1 WIN $90
* 1 IN PICK 2 (1 EITHER NUMBER IN PICK 2) >> BET $1 WIN $4
* 1 IN PICK 3 (1 EITHER NUMBER IN PICK 3) >> BET $1 WIN $3

So basically you're having an insane house edge. We're talking about a 10% to 25% house edge. I have seen some bad casino's with bad house edges, but this is probably one of the worst odd I've ever seen.
I would never recommed a player to gamble at this place with this insane house edge.
180  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top PROVABLY FAIR Casinos on: October 11, 2017, 10:05:00 PM
Here in my Bitcointalk thread, I think I have made a pretty neat overview of different bitcoin casinos. If you like dice, sports betting or other games, they are in there. I have compared different aspects, and rated them based on things that I think that are important for that specific type of casino.
