I just received a email from kraken telling me that they are introducing a new fee structure.
With this structure, I will have to pay a fee of 0,35% instead of the 0,20% I am paying now. That's an increase of 75%. Quite a lot in my opinion.
What are your thoughts about this?

Did you notice that the from the last 10 times only 2 times a increase larger than 15% took place?

Well, the price depends of course on where you live.
I don't think that a 20% increase is possible, because that'd mean that in 8 weeks the total hashing power needs to be doubled. I doubt that that will happen.

The hardware price isn't 600$, but 400$  Edit: A difficulty increase of 20% for the next months isn't going to happen in my opinion. |

I was wondering this:
If I look at the 'investments stats', I notice that the site has a profit of -5.2 BTC.
Just below that, I noticed in the 'user stats' section a profit of 4.6 BTC.
Shouldn't these amounts be equal? What is the cause of the difference?

Well, what you can do as well:
Take the QR code of your paper wallet address with you to the atm. The bitcoins will be sent immediately to your paper wallet.

Storing them on your phone isn't safer then storing them on your computer.
I advice you to make a paper wallet with ~90% of your bitcoins. You can keep the other 10% on e.g. your phone.

I've been cautiously accumulating BTC through Primedice with fairly low bets using the martingale system. Had .025 and doubled it to .053 in 12 hours, then it bolted down to .01 after a losing streak of FIFTEEN reds. I had my betting amounts strategically calculated and assumed it'd never even go above 12 loses. Well that showed me I guess... Much smaller accumulations are happening now that I know the risk is higher than I initialinitially anticipated.
Was it at 49.5%? In that case 15 reds isn't uncommon. |
