161  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: July 23, 2018, 04:58:17 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input
If I had all the money in the world ( Grin) I would definitely invest into high-tech innovations like cure for cancer, alternative energy, hydrogen engine and flight to Mars.
These are the technologies of the Future which will be in high demand in some 15-20 years.
Yes, blockchain itself is a revolutionary thing, but it is too unstable to think about long-term investments.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: July 23, 2018, 04:46:22 PM
The transparent nature of the cryptocurrency industry is one of the Paramount reasons why politicians are kicking hard from all angles against it.Well,I am glad that despite all these agialtations, the industry moves on .One day full potentials will be established. Share your views.
The distinguishing feature of cryptocurrency is its anonymity, so why are you so sure that crypto will help to combat corruption?
What prevents a politician from making a wallet and accepting bribes in bitcoins taking into account the current exchange rate?   Cheesy

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: How much money do people make with bounty? on: July 23, 2018, 04:42:37 PM
I learned about the bounty and saw this as an opportunity for myself.
I need to learn more to continue this work, looking forward to sharing your experience.

164  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: July 19, 2018, 11:24:36 AM
Few people are trying to claim ignorance. They trust that the Earth's assets are boundless and that a bean stalk can develop to the sky. Or on the other hand maybe they know somewhere down in their heart that we are making a course for an ecological and monetary fiasco, one that they think only they will get by through minds, gold, and firearms.
Others accept intensely that innovation will safeguard us out once more, that smart primates will dependably locate another apparatus that will enable us to separate always stuff from the planet.
Up until this point. Changes in horticulture, back, government, assembling and transportation kept pace with the populace development.
The advancement in technology improved economy from past many years but do you think it will grow forever or their will be reduction in resources?
The growth of economy is preconditioned by the limited number of energy carriers that will eventually come to an end in the nearest hundred or so years.
Alternative sources of energy and colonizing other planets can be the only way out of the situation.
After that the whole structure of economy will have to be revised with oil & gas being excluded from the general trend.
I just wonder what will happen to the states whose economy is based solely on extracting and selling the basic natural resources..?
Will they be able to adapt to the new reality..?
Time will show, I've got some popcorn ready  Grin
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: July 19, 2018, 10:34:41 AM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.
Government services are all about as greatest extent of control as possible, so there will always be a fight between centralized Government and decentralized Blockchain.
At the same time, the idea of crypto currency as such could become even more popular amongst ordinary people in five years, mostly as a sustainable method of payment and storing of data.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Can human stupidity affect the movement of the market? on: July 17, 2018, 07:13:52 PM
Hello, community. Political, economic and social news in the media significantly affect the life and behavior of the crowd. How can crypto news affect the movement of the market?
News has always been affecting the behavior of the crowd.
Most financial crises started from negative news that spread like a plague and made people massively withdraw their money from banks.
Remember what was the prerequisite for bitcoin's winning streak in December 2017? It was a series of positive news related to the coin itself and innovations in the sphere of blockchain in general.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: now bear market again. wait for november on: July 17, 2018, 07:01:20 PM
the small bull market gone. we have to wait for another bull market. as per previous conditions  again bull market will come on November , December season.

now just hodl your portfolio. even it went 10x loss. be patient.

i also bought pchain now 3x lost. but still keep
Bull market can come already by mid-August in case positive decision is taken by SEC upon bitcoin exchange traded funds (ETF).
BTC will drag along all other altcoins, so is you have already lost x3 of your profit there is nothing to do but to wait.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending? on: July 17, 2018, 06:54:31 PM
Due to lot of scammed ICO more investors lost their interest investing in ICO. Success rate of ICO decreased that is why bounty campaign period nowadays are extending. Do you agree?
Yes, many projects nowadays fail to get at least a soft cap, so that's the main reason why their campaigns are extended.
Still I think it is a positive tendency, because investors have become more careful and scrupulous when deciding what project to join.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your involvment in crypto world? on: July 17, 2018, 06:51:29 PM
As the title, do you actually work 24/7 in the crypto world as like: trading, mining, bounties, airdrop etc?

And what is your expecting earnings in the future with those jobs? Do you sustain yourself with? Feel free to ask too Smiley
I do not ever risk with investment - I feel that I'm just not that type of a trader with steel balls  Grin
So I mostly do bounties and do a general research on crypto and its prospects.
Yes, it takes some time apart from my regular job, but up to know I feel no regret as it crypto is a nice additional source of income.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will the bear market last? on: July 16, 2018, 05:23:54 PM
Hello community. The market is in a bearish trend for several months. One says that "sharks" create panic with the help of news, forcing small holders of bitcoins to sell themselves to buy cheap, others say that at the end of 2018 bitcoin will soar like a rocket. Many people write and speak on this topic. How do you think how long the bear market will last? Share your opinions.
It seems that the trend is gradually changing to bullish mainly because of the news related to bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) which could be given a license in mid-August.
Look at the charts - all cryptocurrencies from top 50 are green, and so are BTC and ETH.
So I hope that this prolonged fall that we've been observing over the past 2 months is over.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 16, 2018, 05:11:29 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
Here in my country we have a comic phrase which sounds like "if you are so smart, why are you so poor?"  Roll Eyes
At the same time, stupid people are often not overburdened with morality, which allows them to easily breach the law and earn huge money.
So in this respect I cannot fully agree with your statement, as the practice frequently shows the opposite correlation with stupidity and poverty.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up? on: July 16, 2018, 05:04:18 PM
The oil price is going up and many people expect it will go above 100 USD per barrel,or even 120 USD per barrel. How this will impact the world economy and the cryptocurrency prices?
I have many own theory about this and I will share it later, but know I'm waiting for other opinions.
Is this good or is it bad for bitcoin?
Following your logic, BTC price should have been dependent on the cost of mining/electricity, which significantly differs in various countries (compare ~$40/MWh in Iceland and ~$170/MWh in Japan).
In reality, we can see that coins mined in Iceland are valued the same as the coins mined in Japan.
So the price of bitcoin has nothing to do with conventional commodities like oil, gas, electricity, etc.
It depends solely on supply and demand and the overall situation on the market affected by news and attempts of regulation.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: July 16, 2018, 04:30:15 PM
My hope is everyone who was early, has some idea in mind that will help others.
Charity is a noble thing to do but nobody is able to eliminate poverty everywhere and forever.
In normal countries building swimming pools should be the responsibility of the local authorities that could use people's taxes for this purpose.
So your hope sounds a bit naive - the greatest majority of people who became rich due to crypto think only about their own prosperity and the well-being of their families.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: July 16, 2018, 04:20:49 PM
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?
Many bounty hunters do campaigns as a full-time job, they earn their living from the tokens they are rewarded with.
They try to sell the coins as soon as these drop in the wallets, so long-term holding is a bit irrelevant here.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: July 15, 2018, 11:56:04 PM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

Those people who got a sense of blockchain technology and are 100% sure about it are not willing to earn quick money.
I was just wondering what would one need like 40k bitcoins for in a couple of years?
One can buy a nice home for just ~500 BTC, a good car for the same amount of coins - but what will they do with the rest?..

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Send ETH to receive bounty token! on: July 15, 2018, 11:38:03 PM
These projects are managed by extremely prestigious managers such as needmoney .. ->
Have you ever noticed that a greater part of bounties managed by the Legendary "needmoney" last for more than 10 weeks (I've seen milestones like 14, 16, 17, 30 weeks).
Isn't that suspicious when a bounty campaign takes like 3.5 - 7.5 months?

I am definitely not trying to abuse anybody and feel sorry in advance if the above statements looked too subjective.
But personally I have made my own conclusions long ago on whether one should waste his time on projects that make their community work for half of a year without a decent reward.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: July 15, 2018, 11:22:29 PM
How do you feel about the fact that in some bounty companies change the date of delivery of reports. Change the amount of coins.
In general, at the height of the advertising company do what they want. I am amazed at this dishonest game. What is your opinion?
In most bounties they say something like "we reserve the right to make changes to the terms in any moment" and you can do nothing about that once you've subscribed to a campaign.
Sometimes, however, an outbreak in telegram chat can lead to the increase of bounty pool or the change of other terms like the day of delivering reports or terms of reviewing the articles.
Nevertheless, bounty hunters should not keep silence when something unfair is happening - we should always try to communicate with the bounty manager and express our discontent.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is costly... on: July 12, 2018, 09:38:12 PM
One thing to say mining bitcoin consumes a large amount of electricity and it would take lots of equipment to manned the mining. There should be a development in making the cost of bitcoin lower; given that lower mining cost could yield a higher profit. However, it matters on trading and exchanges.
Mining will become even less profitable in the nearest future because the reward for a completed block will be reduced by half.
Moreover, I heard some miners saying they would quit if BTC goes down below $3,000.
The only way of increasing the profit from mining is moving to a country with the lowest electricity price (Canada, China, Switzerland, Iceland).

179  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: July 12, 2018, 09:24:51 PM
Note: See on the right side of each post (top right corner) there is "+Merits"

I think now fixed deposit interest rates are less than 5% p.a in USA and Europe. In India fixed deposit rates are 6.5%.

Gold and Silver gives average profit of 8% to 12% per year. Silver will most likely give 20% to 30% profit each year from here on to reach $60/ounce.

How secured/safe are investments in gold and silver if you decide to remove/withdraw your money from banks fixed deposits and invest them in Gold and silver ??
Precious metals indeed seem to be a more attractive investment than banking, but dealing with gold and silver is also not that easy.
Only a thoughtful trading strategy will help you to get profit from such a trade - it is as volatile as the crypto market.

180  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: July 12, 2018, 09:06:17 PM

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?
Big fish (I assume you are talking about the richest holders of cryptocurrency) gets its profit from us - newbies or medium-scale traders.
Imagine there are just a couple of big players left on the market.
Do you think they will be interested in trading with each other?
What will be the pricing policy in this case?

So I don't think the current situation will undergo a 180-degree turn as the whole crypto activity is based on a large number of small players.
