1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: October 19, 2018, 07:00:57 PM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
In reality, there are not so many projects explicitly being a scam and being founded solely for taking the investors' money and escaping. Most projects simply fail to 1) support their coin and 2) keep up with the roadmap and develop their products on time. Naturally, all this influences the price of tokens, so some of them are being delisted from cmc.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still did not get bounty rewards? on: October 19, 2018, 06:38:40 PM
Yes this is my questions among all bounty hunters. In my 4 months on doing bounty i campaign i have promoted 2 ICO's already and the first one still counting the stakes and still working on the distribution of the tokens. Some had receive already and i thought about receiving too but until now no tokens found in my digital wallet even after searching it on etherscan if there are relatively made a transaction to my digital wallet address and there is none. I have gave my effort and quality time for them to promote their project that includes also the resources being used like internet connection fee and the electricity are all wasted for the project i guess. I think this could be my last project to promote and if i still will not get any rewards then quitting is an option.
It really depends on the campaign. Several times I got my bounty tokens strictly on time they promised while in other campaigns I had to wait for like 2-3 months. One of the campaigns postponed ICO (and tokens distribution) until March next year and I'm really disappointed with that fact.
All in all, there is no universal recipe for bounty hunters to predict whether they will be paid on time and much depends on one's luck.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: October 17, 2018, 10:04:08 PM
Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?
If you have only $1.5 k I would recommend investing only in bitcoin now.
Why? Because most projects that were hyped in Q2 2018 are now dead with the token price going beyond all the acceptable limits.
Btc seems to be the most stable coin as for now maybe because its popularity as a means of payment for many goods and services.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: October 17, 2018, 08:26:15 PM

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?
I'm not a trader - I'm just a bounty hunter having a full time job and doing bounties in my free time.
That's why when I'm rewarded tokens that are worth less than x0.05 of their initial value I've got nothing to do but to wait until their price gets back to at least ICO price.
I think many people who read this post would agree that selling tokens at this low price is not a good idea..
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: October 16, 2018, 04:54:08 PM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.
Yes, in its very beginning btc was perceived solely as a means of making safe and anonymous transactions (currency), but now the situation has changed and btc has become an investment instrument will all the consequences that come with it.
Evolution is something natural, you know, especially in this rapidly changing financial market. Many people lost huge sums not because of the wrong perception of bitcoin as a digital gold but due to their greediness and the mistakes it entails.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: October 16, 2018, 03:52:43 PM
Are there any of you who have offline business but accept payment using bitcoin?
Here in my country I haven't ever seen any offline stores that accept bitcoin but there is a bunch of good and services that could be bought for btc from online merchants (starting from gadgets and ending with underclothes and pets supplies). I also know there are various charity organizations that accept funds in crypto (generally it's btc, eth and litecoin).
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: October 15, 2018, 04:38:25 PM
We are into gadgets, most of the people are addict on it.
We spent more of our vacant time facing our Cellphones and Ipads.

Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?

Well, why not? There are definitely many people who are ready to spend their btc (or other crypto) on gaming.
There are already several projects that deal with HTML5 gaming, though none of them has been successful so far. Personally I would love to have an opportunity to use a coin that would be universally accepted in all gaming stores.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 15, 2018, 02:35:04 PM

Especially in the financial market, not just the crypto market, when prices are rising, people often feel GREED, focusing only on positive trends and never thinking about trends.

This is one of the main reasons why people can never stop and fix their profit and eventually lose all their gainings. One should set up a goal of how much he wants to earn by selling this or that coin and strictly follow it, otherwise he would end up with nothing.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting With Nothing in Bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 06:39:18 PM
To some,100-unit of bitcoin sounds like a big investment. To some, its a small investment.4 years ago, buying 100-unit of bitcoin was a small thing, but today is a huge investment and it's going to be higher in years to come. Below are some arguments on how one can start with nothing especially in cryto or digital currency system.

The good news is that the higher your financial intelligence, the more money you make without needing money. In this new capitalism, it is truly possible to make money for nothing.
Your last sentence is a bit abusing for blockchain - it sounds like bitcoin, eth and many other prospective coins are worth nothing even despite the fact that they use a revolutionary technology that could eventually change the world.
But on the whole I liked your idea about minimum investment growing to a nice profit - it is an ideal example of good strategic planning skills.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 14, 2018, 06:05:42 PM
It is unlikely that crypto replaces banks - too many people, businesses and institutions got used to conventional banking and will countinue utilizing these services.
Crypto could become just an alternative to those who want a bigger control over their finance and more opportunities to play with investments.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: which part of bounty could be more profitable on: October 14, 2018, 05:16:42 PM
Which part of bounty could be more profitable ?
Some people say that signature is the one . and some people prefer content creation or translation .
What do you think ?
Translation is profitable but the main problem is that competition here is very high. I tried to apply for translation several times, but there is always somebody who was the first to take translation.
That's why I personally prefer signatures and don't waste my time on FB and Twitter.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: October 14, 2018, 05:00:58 PM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin
Yes, there are so many projects offering the same solution to one problem. I sometimes call it a war of clones  Cheesy
The main reason is money. I really doubt that all those peojects really need several dozens million dollars for their activities. But people trust them and invest hoping that the coin will be demanded by the market.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: October 14, 2018, 04:41:58 PM
Emotional and mental aspects are commonly interrelated to each other. It commonly deals with our mind and heart. They can't be isolated and one can't remain solitary. In mental viewpoint, it really enable us to think whether it will be great or not. Your understanding will going to test your passionate angle. Bitcoin's impact is interdisciplinary, along these lines what we feel, will be what we think.
Bitcoin can have both positive and negative impact on our emotional state.
Positive because one feels confident while owning such a good investment as several btc. And negative because trading aspects and market's volatility sometime make people desperate.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction price Bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 04:14:35 PM
Today I was amazed at how low the commission was when transferring 0.07 bitcoins. Only 192 sat !!! The transfer took about 10-20 seconds. It's very, very cool. About $ 650 for $ 0.017 - this is something! Bitcoin is the future!
Probably you were just lucky, because generally transactions with such low fees take much more time to be processed.
Though I can remember somebody showed a screenshot of transaction where 45k btc were sent for 4 dollars only - yeah, that was really amazing.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: October 13, 2018, 11:52:15 PM
Hi,
Let's suppose that Bitcoin became adopted everywhere such as paying bills with Bitcoin, getting salary with Bitcoin, shopping, restaurant etc...
How your country gonna survive if you only use Bitcoin in a daily basis? I mean a country cannot survive if individuals doesn't pay taxes, well with Bitcoin you don't pay any tax right?
How this gonna be possible? Please shed for me some light on this.
Thanks
Well if we talk about bitcoin, we still pay a kind of a tax to miners (a fee for making transactions). That's how the system goes - we still need to pay money for ensuring our transactions. Imagine one day the system stopped - we would not be able to make a single transaction..
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: October 13, 2018, 04:55:24 PM
There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Your opinion Smiley
As far as I know, CMC lists coins that have more than $100,000 volume (not sure if this value is calculated monthly or daily).
Apparently, if a coin is traded with volume less than that figure, it becomes a good candidate for delisting, which in its turn means that the project is no longer trusted.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your problem in the bounty? on: October 13, 2018, 03:20:12 PM
what's your problem when you undergo a bounty? or can you say what obstacles do you sometimes feel lazy to do or work on a bounty? perhaps all of you have some obstacles which you can share here and might be useful for others. please share your experience Smiley
What a nice question..
The main problem is lack of time - combinig bounties with full-time job is hard you know and sleeping for 5-6 hours a day is definitely not enough.
Another issue is irritation when the bounty admins rapidly change rules or extend the campaign for another 1-1.5 months - I hate this feeling when my plans are being broken.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: October 08, 2018, 05:00:14 PM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
In fact, Ethereum undeliberately became a monopolist on ICO market due to its convenient token generation functions.
It collapsed because many projects started cashing out which lead to surplus offer and devaluation of the coin.

19  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized or Decentralized for cryptocurrencies? on: October 08, 2018, 04:19:36 PM
We all know, there are 2 types of cryptocurrency
1st: centralized
2nd: decentralized

The difference between them, centralized cryptocurrency is controlled by a government or a company. It has value only in the specific area under company or government boundaries.
Decentralized cryptocurrency has no connection with any state, government

But, the government of some countries are against Bitcoin and some are ready to adopt Bitcoin. So what would effect on Bitcoin if any government approved Bitcoin as a legal tender?
The main problem for btc to become a government's legal tender is the absence of regulatory environment which is typical of all other traditional mediums of payment.
The respective legal framework has to be created "from ground zero", as there are no similar historical precedents that might facilitate the process of btc adoption.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: October 07, 2018, 03:06:52 PM
Great question for all you cryptocurrency believers. What is going to drive the price of bitcoin up and all the altcoins? What exactly are we waiting for? Money doesnt just come out of thin air. What exactly is the catalyst? Again the question is, what exactly are we waiting for?
I think everybody is waiting for a large-scale pump of most coins like the one that took place almost a year ago. Not sure what exactly could be the catalyst (news, exchanges, ready products or whatever), but the market has been stagnating for too long and this situation cannot last forever.
