just a thought. If we are going to hard fork the coin, would it not be better that it happens before being listed on a major exchange such as Polo?
I mean if we do get listed, then have to have everyone update wallets, blockchain right after being listed, it may give the wrong idea about the stability of the coin.

What the hell is happening to Tek price on the new exchange , only down??
It keeps going down over these last days, making quick losses if you don't sell them on time. I have lost too many money because I have invested a lot into it when the price was double or triple the way it is now, but still I am not leaving TEK. I think it has a great potential to grow so I am hopefully waiting for its time to come by. Let's vote for TEK to get added on more exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex.  Its supply and demand. As long as people are willing to sell it cheap, the price will be low. Regardless of the exchange. |

Diffiulty really shot up once Cryptsy stopped all action, wonder why... Super annoying. I think once we get this coin up on more exchanges, ppl will go back to trading it rather than only staking, and difficulty will go back down. Getting Tek on Poloniex should be every Tek holders #1 priority right now. If we make enough noise over there, they will list it. Bittrex is the other exchange where we should try and get it listed, but lets shoot for Polo first and foremost.

Its cheaper and more efficient to just buy them.
Probably for most of us. But some of the guys with earlier ASIC devices might make more of a profit mining TEK than BTC in the longer term. Short term, the diff adjustment kicks out multipools real quick  I had success mining Digibyte when the difficulty was really low, then selling it on an exchange, then buying into TEK. I ended up with far more Tek then if I had just mined TEK. I have not done any SHA-256 mining in a while, but there is likely some coin out there that mines more efficiently then TEK, then just work the exchanges. |

I have successfully contacted both Polo and Bittrex requesting that they list TEK. Hope you all are doing the same.

exchange.btcpool and cryptopia both are small and not yet established. Hopefully they will do well, but we definitely need 2 major exchanges as neither offer all ofthe coins I hold so I would assume others have the same issue.
We are how many people holding tekcoin We can each one send like 10 coins to one address Then we can make small faucet... rather than solve captcha or seeing advertizing ...then vote in polo This way we can get botcointalk member attention for this Very big idea .. but nothing impossible I report that I have been robbed of all TEK, I have nothing. But I adhere to count when I send something every count it for you. Yea, I hate those Bastards too. We are on Cryptopia, and one other small one, name escapes me. If we list on Polo and Bittrex, that would make 4. Not even counting the BigVernScam! BTCPool was the other. Not large, but we are listed! |

Also different exchanges have different coins so you have more to trade with , without suffering the withdrawal fees to other exchanges. Current Example there are problems with cryptsy & bitebi9 , so there is only 1 trustworthy working exchange, if it had a problem , you have no where to exchange Tek. That why there is a strong discussion about finding another exchange, so you have at least 2 working exchanges that people trust. Redundancy provides Stability for a continuous operation like a coin network.  Thanks Kiklo. I put in the Polo request and will do the same on Bittrex once I solve my 2-factor issue there. |

Since Cryptsy is dying by the way of Gox.... We need TEK on some more established Exchanges. It is on Cryptopia with low volume, I have had it added to exchange.btcpool but low volume as well. I have requested TEK be added to Bittrex and Polo. Please, everyone should send a request to these two exchanges to get TEK added. We ALL need good exchange access guys. Some of us are heavily invested in TEK and I have no intentions of selling out.. Lets keep moving forward..
The problem I see with too many exchanges, is that it makes already low volume lower. I would be happy with one good one to start. Hopefully we have that with cryptopia. |

I got everything off Cryptsy two months ago when this forum started reporting the iffy withdrawals. Since then I've spent a bit of time looking back and wondering if that was a mistake.
Well, it's pretty clear now that it wasn't a mistake and I'd like to thank everyone who brought the situation to light.
imo, it no longer is of any interest what prices are on Cryptsy. The price is zero if you can't withdraw.
Biteb9 also be away from them tried to place a couple trades at Bite and right away it lagged and i went into negative balance i would avoid as well for now. Pretty glad we now have Cryptopia. They seem to have their act together. |

Perhaps the business model has been so successful they have had to move into bigger headquarters houses by the coast to get more air to their servers for increased efficiency Yea. and Mnt GOX is moving in with them! |

Cryptopia tek price is X2 since yesterday!! Volume is crazy-cool-high too peace Perhaps by the same method you used Gribgo, change them into a coin that does have a working wallet, then transfer out? My method was for getting out BTC from Cryptsy.. so I suggested to buy some coin that can be withdrawn from Cryptsy -HBN, DMD .. some other coins.. but tek wallet is closed at Cryptsy.. so no point to spend your btc to buy tek and then what? sell tek for btc back and buy another coin? %( peace Did not realize it was BTC you were trying to move Gribgo.
